In a spar between friends, was it going to be possible to take the test seriously? The teen almost had to wonder if either would be hesitant when it came to any actual moves. It was easy to fight when the opponent wasn't an ally, but was there a chance of either of them actually getting hurt in this scenario? Only time would tell.
Though, in a fight between two Digimon, it likely wouldn't take very long for whatever time to be reached, in order to establish where they would draw any lines.
Would that line be drawn by a sword?
It didn't take a genius to know that there was a strong need to move as K used the push to her advantage. But, something didn't feel quite right about being kicked, when the opponent's blade was coursing with electricity. Why kick when--?
There had to be a trap.
While an arm raised to block the incoming foot, the rabbit had to think of something if K had something up her sleeve! Thus, when K wound up to drop the weapon on him, Asher crossed his arms above him, to protect his head. Sure, he was going to take a lot of damage from the electrified sword, but he wasn't going to just take it without giving something back! As impact became inevitable, a few black orbs would pour from the Antylamon's arms, to fire off little explosives in the attacker's direction. Would K be able to avoid them, considering how close she surely was?
Squinting, the Ultimate-level would still feel the full force of the electric-imbued weapon. Tongue clicked on the roof of his mouth, swallowing down any potential cussing that threatened to seep out. Instead, if given the opportunity, the Beast would attempt to back away from K -- to keep a little further out of range of her sword.
And, unless K had attacked again instantly, the rabbit would flick its wrists, as if trying to shrug off the pain from a sword meeting flesh. Head tilted, and mouth opened, only to close again, in a tight smile.
Maybe, they would finally start to give K a proper fight, with some damage having been taken?
Arm Bomber: Fires circular projectiles from it's arms, which explode upon impact.

K didn't view this as a fight between two friends, she viewed this as a fight between a knight and their aspirant. A person that wanted to be a knight, that could be a knight. But had to make that step, make that connection. She wanted to see how he reacted in a physical brawl, a way that many mons would be reduced to when their power was matched or that a single placed move would be the means of a difference. What sort of pressure would asher need to be under to use his own sort of moves? What sort of things would she need to do to pull the rug out from under his feet. He protected himself from the blade, smartly. She wasn't going to slice him with her blade, no a moment before the impact she'd flick the blade to make a resounding slapping noise. Her closeness to the other allowed him to use those black orbs to fire close ranged at her. A ranged attack this close? Was the danger from her enough to warrant something like this. She'd ward off a few of the orbs off with her sword but the others would pepper her and send her backwards. He kept out of the range of her sword quite well, even as she made slashing motions. But her eyes didn't stray at all, she kept them locked on the person in front of them. He was using his natural reach over hers smartly. Trying to lead the fight maybe? Or just trying to do something else? Well it wasn't something that K was going to toy around with. She'd close that gap after that little wrist flip and bring her sword around in a brutal arc in front of her the blade was practically dancing on it's own but mid swing K did something else. She twisted the blade upwards while making a sweeping motion with her leg looking to trip up the taller ultimate! Even if she didn't manage this the shutmon would inhale sharply, deeply and out from her mouth point blank would leap a cone of frost! If the other had managed to avoid her sweeping move they'd be standing for this. If not they'd be flat on their back and have to deal with their entire front peppered with the freezing breath! Log: -K got hit by some orbs. Ow. -K made a trip attempt! -K used breath of the Mausoleum point blank. Active Move: [RAM UPGRADE] Breath of the Mausoleum: This digimon may breathe out an cone of ice. The cone is Thirty feet long, Fifteen feet wide and fifteen feet tall. If a digimon is struck by this move, ice condenses and freezes parts of their body, dealing medium damage and hampers their movement for a single post. The cool down of this move is Two posts, but a digimon cannot be hampered by the movement affecting portion of the attack twice in a row. This attack deals more damage to targets already affected by a ice type move or if they are in a body of water. This move is strong enough to freeze large chunks of water. Outside of combat this move can be used indefinitely, but runs the risk of freezing the host digimon solid for three posts rendering them completely unable to do anything. A constant effect when not in use is the cloud of frosty air she breathes out. This particular effect deals no damage but indicates when the move can be used again. Persistant move: Lightning-Blade: This digimon may charge it's blades with lightning, allowing it to make shocking high damaging strikes for two posts. This may electrocute some bodies of water and deal spread damage within. This move has a two post cool down. passives: Just gonna list these here cause uhm. Forgot last time. Woops!
Oathbreaker: Vaccine types take increased damage from this digimon.
Bound: Using it's powerful legs, this digimon may treat even air as solid ground. Allowing it to basically "fly".
[RAM UPGRADE GIGA]: Crimson Mantle: Jesmon's signature cape; adjusted for size for each Digivolution. This cape has a few soft abilities each that scales with the level given. It may provide flight [if the wearer already can fly their movement is increased by one step] and it can block a single attack relevant to the power of the level of the host digimon before implementing a cool down of two posts for the block itself. This mantle may be passed to others but it's effectiveness for others is generally halved. Duration: LB: [1/2] Cooldown: Pending: LB: [0/2] Pending: BOTM: [0/2]

Once Asher had felt the side of the blade connect with his arms, he was given a good idea on where K was willing to hold back in the fight. That didn't mean that being hit wouldn't hurt at all, of course! Having anything slammed down on him was going to smart! But, was his reaction with a ranged attack overkill? Maybe a bit. But, it felt strange to not take the opportunity to do something! If this was someone else, would Asher have as much hesitance? Even with it just being between friends, it didn't feel like he was putting his heart into it. And, his spirits had already noticed it. If he didn't want to do anything, someone else would. Which, frankly, wasn't something that was appealing to the spirit user. Keeping his eyes focused on the blade, which he definitely didn't want to experience more shock damage from, Asher had almost completely failed to notice the ulterior motive until it was too late! The rabbit was quickly swept off their feet, but that wouldn't stop him from reacting. Bringing his arms behind him, the Antylamon braced itself to hit the ground, and then would swing itself to the side, throwing a foot out to attempt to kick their opponent, energy pooling to the extremity to push itself through the frost that was already pouring from K's mouth. Ugh, that was cold! But, with any luck, the kick wouldn't be slowed down quickly enough to stop it from making a connection! If not, at least it should give the rabbit a little space so he could get back onto his feet! -Asher's been tripped! -While getting hit with Breath of the Mausoleum, he attempts to use Rabbit's Foot to power through the frost!
Rabbit's Foot: Channeling explosive energy into it's feet, Antylamon delivers a rapid yet powerful kick.
Current Cooldowns: None!
Passives:
Since I forgot alsooo...
Lighter Than a Feather: Antylamon is capable of levitating. Or, perhaps, it is just incapable of keeping it's feet solidly on the ground for extended periods of time.
Ebb and Flow: Antylamon is capable of activating and then transferring non-damaging affects from itself to another target, as long as it is not on cooldown. This includes Mantra Chant, Meditation Cure, Bloodlust, Contrariwise, and Unswayed. Ebb and Flow takes up Antylamon's attack for its current turn, but not its target's, and cannot be reactivated for three turns afterward. Strong minds are capable of rejecting the affects of the transfer if they so wish, and any ability with a duration exceeding two posts is dropped to this limit when transferred.
Unswayed: Stopping a Nightmare Soldier is an awfully hard task. Abilities that would immobilize or hinder (sleep, binding, stun) this Digimon's movements are ineffective. If it does damage along with the status effect, the damage is still capable of being taken. In the case that someone is persistent, they do say that the third time's the charm. This passive ceases function for three posts if the user is hit with abilities of this kind twice. RAM Upgrade Plus

The shutmon flicked her ears quietly as that blade connected with his arms, which sort of gave her a thoughtful pause in her motions following. She found that he was focusing too heavily on the blades and by that was hit by her sweep to trip him.
It didn't take much longer for her breath to sweep across his body. But through that blast of air came his next attack. Using her own ability to more or less lead into one of his own? Clever thinking that, even if it hurt him more than it hurt her.
K flew back a few feet along with the force landing spritely on her feet and bringing a hand to her chest grimacing a little bit at the strike that he had managed to get on her. She'd stare at him for a few moments and go to say something before a coughing fit wracked her body.
Well that smarts!
She'd wave a hand at asher to signal the other to 'stop'. Even going so far as to switch her blades from 'attack' to 'sheathe' and used her larger blade to sort of steady herself. He really wasn't holding back against her was he? Once the coughing fit died down she'd wipe what amounted to blood from her mouth and give it a raised brow.
"Risky move that Asher... Tell me. What did you feel in that fight?"
She wanted an honest answer, there was a lot that he could tell her but only a few of the answers would get a nod from her if at all. She'd grit her teeth painfully and manage out another hacking cough. Rabbit or hare type digimon were known for their powerful kicks and it seemed that asher was well aware of that too!

Sure, it would be little surprise that a rabbit's kick would be something pretty terrible to meet. In a way, Asher was almost surprised that the kick had connected! Then again, if he hadn't wanted to kick her, he probably shouldn't have done that move! On the bright side, it was effective! Trying to shudder off some of the ice that had formed on the bunny's body, Asher was more than content with seeing the signal to stop. Not so much, the coughing fits and obvious discomfort that he had put K through, though! Honestly, he felt a little bad for it. He also still felt pretty cold. Could he see his breath? ..No. He was just being dramatic at this point, probably. "What did I feel?" The spirit user returned the question, giving an, "uhm," while trying to process whatever feeling he may have had. While mulling it over, the rabbit's body would give off a light glow, soon pooling to its hand, and then bouncing to K. As long as she didn't try to fight whatever affect the glow was trying to provide, she'd surely feel some relief come over her, as Meditation Cure took effect. After all, it wasn't like he was just going to stand around and chat with a hurt friend, if he could bring some sort of comfort to her! "I was actually mostly concerned about hurting you," he admitted, almost sheepishly. Another admittance? "I also felt cold." Terrible joke! Stop thinking about the frost breath! Goodness! After a smile, the spirit user added in a more serious manner, "fighting someone that I don't have any need to, turns out to be a bit harder than if it was a fight out of necessity. For instance, worrying about causing internal bleeding to the opponent." That was... almost a joke! Yet, K wiping blood from her mouth hadn't gone unnoticed! With any luck, his little 'apology' from using a move to heal her would be proof enough that he felt kind of bad about the kick! Fight's over! But Asher feels bad so he's using Ebb and Flow + Meditation Cure to try to help K out. -Ebb and Flow: Antylamon is capable of activating and then transferring non-damaging affects from itself to another target, as long as it is not on cooldown.
-Meditation Cure: Pools energy to wounds to heal itself by about 30%. Cooldown of two posts.

K let out a smooth sigh as she felt that healing energy take care of her chest, she'd rub at her muzzle thoughtfully as the other repeated what she asked. She was curious; why wouldn't she be? And at her answer she let out a low rumbling laugh. She liked the honesty that she could sense from the human; she'd tap her muzzle thoughtfully and give a wry grin.
"It is very different fighting friends, but sometimes you don't get a choice of who to fight. Sometimes you don't even know what you're fighting about until it's over."
The shutmon rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck. Gently scooping her sword up and returning it to her sheathe on her back. She'd flick her ear at the joke and let out a small snicker. He of course would feel cold! It was a freezing breath after all! He even went so far as to say that fighting someone he didn't have any need to turned out to be harder. She'd dip her head in a nod and run a few fingers across her gauntlet before taking out a small chip. She'd toss it to the human and give him a small somewhat cheerful smile.
"It's the necessity and being able to do what you can against who you can that is important. Not to mention that honesty. It's a good thing asher. When Vander tower is constructed and it's home portal system is up that will light up. You'll be able to access it directly, but for now?"
She'd step forward ofering a hand to the spirit user. If he accepted it she'd give it a firm shake and a rather happy pat on the back before letting go.
"Welcome aboard Knight. You can pick out your title or whatnot if you want, I'm not terribly good with them myself."
Another chuckle and she'd glance around for a moment before stepping back. Drumming her fingers on the same gauntlet for a few long moments.
"I hope to start patrols and the like when Vander tower is constructed and properly maintained. Training and what not will hopefully kick up too. For now lets head back to rosewood? I need to complete a few things there before heading back home."

'Sometimes you don't know what you're fighting until it's over'? That seemed like a worrying statement. The kind of thing someone didn't generally think to say unless they'd experienced something like that! And, while there was an urge to inquire on it, Asher decided that it was best not to.
After healing K, the teen would almost literally shed his spirit form, as data would pour down from the rabbit, seemingly disintegrating until it left the redhead in its place. In good timing, too! Lifting up his hands, he caught the chip, and turned it a bit in his palm to get a better look at it. So, it would light up when he could use it? That sounded fancy. Pocketing the item, the teen flashed a smile as K put out her hand.
Of course, he'd accept the gesture of the handshake! And becoming a knight! "A title, huh?" There was a thoughtful hum, while the redhead tried to think of anything. But, nothing came to mind! "I'll think on it," he decided after a moment.
Meanwhile, Whiskers would climb down from her hiding spot on a nearby tree branch. She wasn't going to be forgotten after this whole thing! "Do mew have a fancy title?" the cat asked, almost as quickly as she had walked up to the duo. It was implied that K didn't, but maybe she just had a really cheesy sounding title! Or a really bad one. 'Knight of Stabbing Stuff', or something!
"Sounds good," the redhead would agree, after hearing about the trainings and patrols. And, of course, of the plan to return to Rosewood. He'd wait for K to begin walking, before following alongside her. "I swear, you're always busy doing something, huh?"
If only Asher knew. That might be an understatement! At least any further business she had in Rosewood couldn't be too terrible!

K stretched a little bit, grunting as she felt the pull and tug of the muscles connecting to her chest. She could feel the worst of the nasty knock she had taken by asher fade away with his tending. She'd give him a somewhat wolfish grin at the idea of a title. She wouldn't give one out to people unless she had one in mind for them ahead of time and she wouldn't even go so far as to force it upon them. It wouldn't do her well or them if they had to live with something like that.
She'd quirk her head to one side, dipping it in a nod as he confirmed that he would think about it. There was a lot that he could come up with honestly and she wouldn't press him for it. The spirit wielder would find that K's handshakes were quite firm but thankfully not hand crushing. She'd blink a few times however when whiskers addressed her once she had come closer.
"I do not no. Couldn't think of anything fitting."
K would give a small shrug afterwards, looking somewhat sheepish at the fact she didn't. Really a leader probably should have a good name of some form shouldn't they? She figured she'd just let the people sort it out, nothing that she needed to extensively worry about of course.
Once again Asher would catch her with another question, though this one seemed to be more rhetorical but K could only manage a small somewhat pleased smile. Trotting forward and cheerfully shaking her head.
"Always something going on, somewhere to be, someone to fight, someone to protect. Someone to be, someone to become. Somewhere or something that needs attention. But I don't mind it. It's something I've always lived for. I've never really lived for myself; always living for others. Even when I ran the inn it was all about the customer. Now it's about the future and the people."
There was some handwaving and the shutmon let out a firm chuckle stretching a few times more and letting out an earnest sigh. There were people that were riding on her group to succeed and people that wanted to see it fail no doubt if she really thought about it.
Well they can go soak their heads...
It wouldn't take long for the trio to get back to rosewood after all, K herself seemed far more spirited than earlier. Ears perked, tail shifting one way or the other. Though even with her apparent joy there was a deadly truth to it. She wasn't relaxed in the slightest. In fact it seemed as though she was ready to go further than people expected or needed to. Once on the outskirts of the town she'd turn her head to look at the pair.
"For once. We are building something, making something new. Creating a place for people to live, to learn, to become what they want and what they want to be."
She'd look over rosewood folding her arms and just sort of stand there. Her cape billowing in a wind, hood tugging and goggles clanking against one another softly. She seemed pensive, thoughtful...
Ready.
"I don't expect you to drop everything for another world Asher. I don't expect you to give up everything for this and I won't ever push you for it unless you want to. I thank you for joining and letting me see just how far you would or could go. For now? Just take your time as you need all right?"
Another grin. Split from ear to ear her face looked remarkably jovial. Without a doubt she was pleased, she was earnest happy and nothing could shake that fact from her body. Though it was probably... a good time to say goodbye.
"Until next time then?"

K didn't have a fancy title? Well! Whiskers wanted to fix that but, frankly, the feline was terrible at coming up with names. Go figure, when she rarely even argued with being called Whiskers of all things. Of course, she had another name, but it was near-impossible to get Asher to call her it, after being a housecat for too long. Mercenary work could be mentally painful at times.
But, the other Digimon only confirmed Asher's comment on how busy she always was. Not that he could judge her. Asher was usually fairly busy, but it seemed like most of it was just juggling a 'normal' life and a hidden one involving magical monsters. Things would probably be a lot simpler if he could just commit to one. Or, at least, let his boss and family know the extent of his days. Not like he could do much about it, though! Good thing he was old enough to wander off for days without much explanation to anyone. It would probably be a much harder life if he was thirteen, or something, trying to balance the two worlds!
And, the thoughts on this only furthered as K commented on not expecting him to drop everything for this world. "Both worlds are important," he hummed, putting a hand in his pocket. "I've gotten pretty good at using the time differences to keep on-track in my own world." Hopefully, it wouldn't be too taxing in the future! But for now, he didn't feel overly concerned about dedicating time to a group that existed in this world.
Seeing the Shutmon's grin, Asher subconsciously matched it. What could he say? She seemed pretty happy, and the day had been pretty productive! But, the productivity was waning, and both surely had other places to be. "Until next time."
"We should purrobably head home, anyway," Whiskers stated, while fidgeting with something in her paws. In a flash, her holosuit activated, and a black-haired girl with cat-headphones took her place. Flashing a smile at K, the 'girl' leaned around Asher to give her a wave. "It was nice to meet mew, Miss K!" And with that, she began to more forcefully pull at Asher's arm, clearly having more 'mass' to work with on her attempts to move him at a reasonable speed. Meicoomons were too short for this stuff!
And then, they were off. Surely, their paths would cross again soon, though! They had to!
