Terminus was always a city that had something going on. Be it the constant rushing of the Trailmon schedules or the thousands of mons who just their day-to-day lives, whether going to work or getting food. Siris was the latter of the sort, with he and his sister bunking in the city, it was on him to get food for the two. He could venture out and handle crowds a lot better than his little sister, he figured, and with the sea food market having a sale; he'd be hard pressed not to pick up a cod or two for him and his sister!
Standing in line, smelling the salt in the air of the freshly arrived Seafood from Whitewater, the young fox held his order in his hand, tail swishing about as he grew a little more than excited to dine on this human food that found it's way into the Digital world one way or another. He'd take note of the other patrons here, ensuring there wasn't anyone that sang 'enemy' to him. The first glance yielded no results, and Siris was leaning back to relax.
He just hoped, as always, he stayed that way. But this was Terminus... unpredictability was the norm!

Two others were present in Terminus City that day, although present in a way that they weren't normally. One was a strange kind of Impmon, who was covered in cat-like purple and white fur, who was wearing a blue polo shirt in addition to his red scarf and gloves. And the other was a Gazimon, two inches taller, wearing a light red tank top. Also unique about the Gazimon was that she had the same emerald-green eyes as the Impmon, which was different from the usual ruby-red that Gazimon tended to have.
"Hey, dad..." the Gazimon spoke as they waited in line for some seafood for lunch. "I just wanna say, well, thanks for spendin' time with me. I really appreciate it"
"Eh, no problem, Gaz" the Impmon replied. Even though spending time away from his twin brother and his partner Colin made him a little weak and vulnerable, still, he wanted to be a good parent to his daughter. He'd do the same with Finn, just his other child wasn't around at this moment in time - on an adventure with Marshal and Coronamon. But still, he was glad to be here with family. He smiled as he looked at Gaz's face, her green eyes reminding her of his fiance, and the fact that she was made from them sharing their data was always a feeling of delight for him.
"Hey, I was wonderin'..." Gaz continued. "Do you think you could buy me a holosuit maybe?"
"...why do you wanna get a holosuit?" Bellamy asked curiously.
"Because I wanna pretend to be a human so much" Gaz said, rolling her eyes. "Well, because I wanna go to Earth sometime too, y'know?"
"Oh, Gaz..." Bellamy sighed, shaking his head. "Y'know it'd be nice if you said nice things without askin' for somethin' immediately after"
"Oh, dad, please, Tokyo sounds like an awesome place!" Gaz continued. "All those flashy lights and that human food and gettin' to see all those sights" she accidentally brushed her paw against a Renamon standing in front of her as she waved them around to emphasize her feelings. She realized this and turned around "Ah, sorry about that, pal" she apologized, then turned back to her father. "And that it's all on another world too... just a train trip away, it sounds awesome! All I'd need is some crummy holosuit"
"But Gaz, you don't know how to act around humans yet" Bellamy pointed out. The Gazimon nodded with a sigh, but immediately had an idea.
"Could you teach me?" she asked eagerly. Bellamy gave a sigh, supposing it wasn't unreasonable.
"Okay, we will. Me, Colin and Luke will try and give you the basics on Daedalus tonight" Bellamy answered. He then frowned at the line ahead. "Is this line movin' at all? Yeesh, it's goin' pretty slow" he commented.

As Siris watched a keen interest on the Impmon... soon he waited and a Gazimon joined. What really made them standout from the crowd was their clothing. Was this normal in Terminus? Should he be wearing clothes? Now he had to ask, completely disregarding any sort of 'concern' he had for the demon-like Digimon and gave an introduction with a simple bow,
"Hello! I'm Siris... I'm, uh, staying her in Terminus while my dad deals with something with the Library, something with mom not being right. Me and my sister are... no, sorry, you don't care about that! Sorry, your clothes! I've never seen Digimon wear them and had to ask if I was... out of standard? I'm not from here... oh, I already said that!"
The fox tapped his forhead, reminding himself to relax... this wasn't a big deal. But he just was unsure how one would act when another mon came up in such an aggressive manner. In fact, he leaned back, almost to show he wasn't a threat in anyway as he looked around;
"S-sorry, I didn't mean to pry or interrupt! I'll uh, go now! Syre is waiting for some fish, and she gets grumpy when she's not fed!"
For someone who looked tough, he sure was a timid thing!

Bellamy noted that the Renamon seemed curious about him. And, honestly, he was used to this. Since his data got mixed with his brother's, it was hard not to stand out as a furry Impmon with a white underbelly. But he never really got angry about it, it was the good thing to not judge natural curiosity as rudeness.
Still, he didn't respond until the Renamon addressed them directly. While he was a little taken aback by the random conversation, he saw that the Renamon was being nice and was going through the effort to make this a nice talk. Because of that, Bellamy and Gaz paid attention to him patiently.
"Oh wow, you have a family too?" Gaz asked, interested. "I... honestly haven't met another digimon with parents like I do. Although you mentioned a dad and a mom, so, that's kinda interesting. I have two dads myself, and a brother".
Bellamy heard a library being mentioned so he was curious about that. "Ah, you're with the Digital Field Club?" he asked, having heard about them from Dio and Carlos. So, if confirmed, that would make the Impmon relaxed about this guy.
The Renamon, named Siris, seemed to be concerned that he wasn't appropriately dressed for this setting. "Ah, not at all, just we like havin' clothes to distinguish ourselves, y'know?"
"Yeah... we just kinda like how the humans wear clothes, so we kinda do the same" Gaz admitted. Being able to dress in whatever color she wanted, having pockets if she chose, it was nice. Unfortunately, having a tail and long claws on their feet meant that they couldn't comfortably wear trousers, so they settled for halfway.
Siris seemed nervous about speaking to them and seemed to back off. But so far he had been nothing but kind to them and neither Bellamy or Gaz wanted to make him feel like he had been annoying them. "Oh nah, that's fine, pal, as long as we're in this line we're happy to talk" Gaz said, smiling. "You mentioned Syre, she's your sister, right? What's she like?". Gaz was kinda eager to have a sister of her own too. Finn was cool and all as her brother, but, she felt sometimes that their interests didn't align, so it was hard to find ways to bond with him. But, she also liked how nice Siris seemed to be.
Bellamy remained silent for a bit. He supposed that since Gaz was young and Siris also seemed to be young he might let them have the chance to talk for a bit.

As he listened, Siris seemed a little more nervous, but did ease up a bit as he listened to the pair. They were related too? That was cool! Not many other Digimon had parents, his father had told him. Then came the follow up about the Field Club;
”Uhm, well, I don’t know if it’s called that? My dad is Mikemon if that helps! K is my mom!”
He flicked his ear at the question of Syre, then gave a warm smile; ”I love her! She’s my little sister!” he said as he straightened up a bit, his tail wagging back and forth! With a sigh, the young fox looked to the Gazimon;
”So, do you guys live in Terminus? Or are you visiting, like me?”
He gave a smile, showing he was no threat and he was actually interested in conversation with the fellow kid Digimon! It wasn’t everyday he met someone like him!

Both Bellamy and Gaz couldn't quite say if they had ever met a Mikemon before. But, Bellamy had indeed met K before. "Oh yeah, K, we met her in the Northern Caverns" he said. "And at the control spire in the Jungle... yeah, your mom's a really tough digimon, Siris, I gotta say".
"The Jungle, yeah..." Gaz added, a little downhearted that she had been too weak to be of any assistance to her father there. But, at least she was glad that their parents might somehow know each other.
Gaz then giggled a little at how delighted Siris seemed to be about having a sister. Wagging his tail like that, it was so cute! Of course she didn't say that out loud.
Siris then asked if they lived in Terminus. Gaz shook her head. "Nope, we mostly live on an island off Whitewater" she answered. "At least I do. Dad lives with his human partner on the human world".
"Yeah, that's pretty much right" Bellamy said, shrugging. "We visit the digital world a lot though so we can keep up with things".
By now the line had moved so that they were next at the fish market. Bellamy and Gaz gave signals to Siris that he was free to make his order first. Maybe they could talk a little more after their purchases?

With another warm smile, Siris handed listened with great interest about these two! They actually lived in the human world? They knew of it more than just in books and videos? To the fox, that was incredible.
”Wow! That’s so cool! What’s the human world like?”
As he asked, the line moved to his turn and the fox stumbled a bit, sort of worried he might offend or upset anyone around him!
”Two cods please! Extra salt on them? Uncleaned!”
Siris didn’t understand much about human food, other than it being delicious. But Syre has a very specific order and he would see it fulfilled! He was the big brother after all!
As he’d pay for his food, gather his order and bag it, he’d wait for the two to finish up, then continue with the questions!
”so do you live in... Ga-pan is it? The human world’s capital!” he asked with the same swishing tail!
Oh how little he knew!

The more they talked, the more Bellamy and Gaz were starting to like this Renamon. He seemed very sweet, which seemed like something of a rarity in the digital world, and deep down, Gaz was starting to find him kinda cute, not that she'd say that out loud.
Siris then asked what the human world was like. Bellamy wondered how he would describe it in simple terms. "Honestly? Kinda cluttered, but full of loads of stuff to see and do" he said. "Also the rules are a lot tighter there, but, as long as ya have a holosuit and know how humans normally behave you'll usually be left alone".
Gaz turned her giggle into a cough very quickly as Siris almost stumbled when he realized it was his turn. Bellamy caught on to it though, so the Impmon would likely let her chat to him a bit more if she wanted. Then after he made his order, Bellamy and Gaz made theirs.
"Let's have... two salmon fillets, one smoked and one fresh, half a dozen oysters, and... ah to heck with it, two lobster tails, thanks! Ah, and we'll pay extra for a cooler bag"
A little extravagant, but both father and daughter loved their seafood, and they looked forward to the meal tonight. With the cooler bag, they would stay fresh as they walked around the city too.
Bellamy took the bag while Gaz returned to talk to Siris some more. "Nah, dad lives in a place called "Shibooya", and he comes and goes with his partner and brother by Trailmon" the Gazimon explained, her long tufted tail swaying a little.
"Well, uh, the country's called Japan, Shibuya's a part of the main city of it" Bellamy said. "At least I think?" the Impmon didn't know enough facts to point out that it wasn't the human world capital. But as far as he was concerned, it was big enough to be.
"So then, we headin' in the same direction?" Gaz asked curiously, wondering where Siris intended to go from here. If they were moving in a similar direction she didn't mind talking a bit more.

As Siris collected his fish, he looked down into his own bag with delight. They're food looked so much better but Dad had set them up with a 'keeper' who knew how to cook. She gave him this order specifically and knew what she was doing. Which was a nice tough to the already sort of lofty place the two were staying in!
Siris listened carefully as Gaz and her father spoke of the human world. Clearly interested in what they knew. For some odd reason, he always felt a but of a connection to the human world in some small way. Like he knew someone who lived there or had been once. Now he could at least say he knew some who lived there! It was always nice to make new friends!
Gaz then asked if they were headed in the same direction, which invoked a thoughtful hum across Siris' lips as he thought more on it. Thinking of the direction their apartment was! He looked around then blinked, realizing he was lost;
"Oh... uh... yeah, I think? I don't know!" he gave a smile as he rubbed the back of his head, "Oops?" he said with a chuckle, not wanting to admit he was completely lost! He would just follow them and hopefully it would lead him in the right direction!
Company was the best way to get around after all!

Gaz and Bellamy were somewhat surprised to hear that Siris was in fact lost. "Seriously? Oh man..." the Gazimon sighed, putting a paw to her forehead as she wondered how to solve this conundrum. Well, she supposed she'd best make the offer sooner than later. "So, fish turns rotten really quickly if it ain't frozen, so, if ya want, you can put your stuff in our cooler bag" she said, offering its usage to him. That way, even if it took a while for them to find where Siris was staying, at least the food for him and his sister would remain fresh.
Given that they had no idea where to go from here, Gaz and Bellamy made their way to the center of Terminus City, hoping that from here, Siris might be able to get his bearings. However, there was something in the distance that caught Gaz's attention. Was that a... gaming arcade? Oh man, she had always wanted to play in one of those, but, she had never really found someone she'd like to play with. But, today, here she was with a recently met acquaintance. While Siris did mention he was out here to get food for his sister, Gaz wondered if they could spare a little while to just... forget about their current responsibilities and just play a little together?
Their food was safe in the cooler bag, and she felt confident her dad was looking out for them. So, supposing she might as well ask, Gaz turned to the Renamon and posed the question.
"So, hey, uh, even though you might be lost for the moment, do you... maybe... wanna play some games for a bit in the arcade?" she asked. She immediately felt a little bad for possibly exploiting a vulnerable situation, but, at the same time, she hadn't had the opportunity to ask anyone else this before, so, if he accepted, she would be pretty happy about that.

Siris rubbed his chin... no that street wasn’t it. Maybe if they retraced their steps? He also had his food to worry about! It was time sensitive. At least it was, until Gaz extended the use of the cooler bag to Siris, who happily obliged!
”Thanks, so much! You’re a life saver.”
Afterwards, they moved to the center of the city, which was smart... Siris could try to understand things with more bearing, keeping a mental map in his mind. Which he should have done to begin with. He shrugged, turning to Bellamy and Gaz;
”I’m still unsure which way is which.”
The young fox admitted, trying to think more on the subject! Then, as he turned to look at a sign for a general understanding of his surroundings, Gaz asked a question that caught the fox a bit off guard, but he was in on way offended!
”An... arcade? What’s that?”
The fox, who was a tad out of touch with modern marvels as Arcades, was confused on what it even was. When she pointed to it, the fox narrowed his eyes, focusing on the flashing lights and pretty colors. Some words in the human language that he could barely make out, but tried to read anyway;
”G-Ga-Mays? What are those? Food?”
As the fox read closer, he could put two and two tougher and realized it read; “Games” then smiled brightly.
”Sure! I mean if you’re dad is okay with it?”
The fox didn’t even really know what kind of games a place like that would have, but he was more than willing to find out with a friend!

Gaz smiled back at Siris when it turned out her offer to share their cooler bag solved a problem. "Okay then! Let's just make sure they're properly packed..." it would suck to have their ingredients and flavors mix without them knowing after all.
Following that, they moved to the middle of the city. But, sadly, Siris still couldn't remember what direction to go in. Then when Gaz asked whether he wanted to go to the arcade, even Bellamy thought that was initially a little selfish, especially when it was kind of a serious problem, well, he could see where his daughter was coming from, they could either run around the city with futility for a while, or they could stop, relax a little, then regain their bearings. So in the end he said nothing after Gaz's offer.
"An arcade is a place where ya can go and play games, kinda distract yourself from problems around the world in the meantime" she explained. After he figured out what she was talking about, seemed that he asked for Bellamy's opinion on all this.
"Well, to be honest, I reckon it might help" Bellamy admitted. "We can either run around in circles panicking or relax a bit, regain our bearings, then hopefully remember where to go after we're finished, maybe?"
Gaz squealed with delight internally at her dad for saying that. This meant that she could finally have a bit of fun with a digimon just like her - young and with parents.
"Okay, Siris, what kinda game do you wanna play?" she asked, eagerly. "There's Puzzles, Fighters, Adventures, Etcetera!"
"Just make sure ya don't pick somethin' that goes on too long" Bellamy advised. But he'd take a seat in view of wherever they would choose to go, making sure that the cooler bag remained cool.

Siris blinked as they entered the arcade. A bombardment of electronic beeps and other sound effects that were blanketed by the softer background noise of friendly music. Digimon and humans alike were playing about the many towers that offered whatever game was printed on the side and this was as alien to Siris as humans themselves;
"Oh! Uh... well I don't know very many games or what would be good to play." he walked over to one that had brawny tough men on it that were beating eachother up and started mashing buttons, mimicking what he saw the other patrons do to a game that read in English; INSERT ONE. Not knowing what it meant, the fox rotated the joystick in his hand and pressed a few buttons, watching the preprogrammed fighters duke it out on the screen. Unaware he was not controlling them in the slightest;
"Wow, this is really fun." he said with a smile as he just spin the joystick and mashed a plethora of buttons. Maybe he was doing something wrong, because it kept jumping to what looked like a list of names and pictures, then the title of the game. He leaned back;
"Oh... did I lose?" he kept trying to play with the buttons, watching the fighters reappear and go at it again. He might have been ignorant in the way of video games but he was no fool... this was a recording.
"Not to take away from the fun to be had... but is this it? I think it's a recording!" he smiles and turned to Gaz, keeping a warm smile as to answer a question if he was having fun or not!

Gaz giggled a little as Siris seemed to think the demo of the game was the actual thing. She watched for as long as she could stand without helping him though. She gently patted his arm.
"Heh, Siris, that ain't how it works" she said, revealing a coin that read "1 bit". "You have to put the coin in first, then once that's been done, then you can start playin' the game".
She would demonstrate for a little bit on the game against a computer opponent, then hopefully once he got the gist of it, she'd pause and let him take over.
"Remember, the joystick's for movement, the buttons are for action" she said. She was curious about how Siris would handle this, and, more importantly, she hoped he would enjoy it. If not, there'd be plenty of other games they could try out. Bellamy meanwhile would glance up at them from time to time, but for the most part, had his comm device out, chatting to friends on Tamernet.
