Genesis only chuckled at Dagger's replies, not even so much as moved by the threats;
"We've tangled with actual governments. Both in the Digital World and in the Human World. Your threats are as weak as you, Dagger. That's me speaking from experience."
With the Stingmon's completely unnecessary inclusion, Genesis only rolled her eyes. It was to the point now things were getting completely out of hand. Trying to sell the duo as bad guys with so much stretching, Genesis could have swore she was in a yoga class. Even still, she stood her ground, looking to the approaching bouncer, then to Cas;
"Typical. Cas hiding behind others when confrontation is at her door. Not even a knife or claw out and you're calling for help. This is not a fight you want, or need." Genesis would hold up a hand, turning on her own to the door, "Very well, you've made your point. Play the victim, close your ears, it doesn't matter. You're nothing more than a child wrapped in her own self loathing, pretending like you're the only one suffering."
She shook her head, sighing as she stopped and turned; "Truly, I feel sorry for you, Cas. That instead of learning the whole truth, you want to hide behind your own story." She shrugged, "Ignorance is bliss, I suppose."
With that, Genesis turned heel, walking to the door no doubt the bouncer would finally be leading her to. But even still, she wouldn't allow them to touch her, not after this. They would escort her out... but they would not throw her out. That much was clear.
Siris sighed, sniffing a bit. This was all... so much. His trust in a lot of people was shaken today. Viktor, Cas, Stingmon and even his own father, though he didn't want to admit it. For the first time, Siris truly didn't think kindness was the answer, he didn't know how to answer.
Even still, the fox simply sighed and looked to Cas, giving a faint smile, "I... I don't know what to say, Aunt Cas."
Siris didn't hold a grudge against anyone, but he felt there would be more to this. He didn't mind Viktor, the guy seemed more passive than anything. Genesis, on the other hand, was one he didn't particularly care for, given the outburst. But he couldn't help but feel if someone came forward that passionately, there was a reason for it. With a nervous sigh and look, he would then turn to Stingmon;
"Dad's mad... isn't he?"

Ah, there it was: one more outburst. With the bar starting to literally 'close around' this back room, Genesis let out one more tirade, one more blind - and probably drunken - rant to both Cassandra and her twins about... something. Attempting to compare dealing with what was effectively a mafia with an 'actual government'? Something about not being able to get a word in edgewise?
Viktor's reaction, honestly, was something the Stingmon could understand. The D-Reaper infection could have been argued as something out of his control, and something he really just wanted to put behind him, even if it meant burning a few bridges. But Genesis' words came off as more a mix between a poor understanding of how a civilized world worked and frustrated, drunken bias.
It didn't take long for Genesis to be escorted out, one way or another, and with that, Stingmon would close and bolt the door shut. "Well, he shrugged, once the two were out of earshot, "you can't fix assholes. Or ferals-turned-civilized with no human etiquette, I really can't tell which."
That, really, was the insect's only takeaway from all of this. As Siris directed that comment towards him, the Stingmon gave a sigh. "He's not mad, but when you're getting back to the library, you're alphabetizing all the books in the C wing. It was going to be the whole Library... but it doesn't look like you actually tried to drink anything, so that's fine, at least."

Dagger merely snorted as the woman continued to throw her drunken fit talking out of her ass the whole way as she was escorted out. "Not the Doc's fault you're so unlikable no one wants to defend you. Maybe consider taking some of your own advice." The Durandamon quipped, but soon the bar was blessedly silent the pair of Mega's slowly relaxing. Not that there was really much to fear.
"No unfortunately you really can't. I apologize for getting you and Mikemon involved in all of this. If I had known they'd be this ungrateful and thankless for the aid they've been given I'd never have sent them to him to be looked at." Cas spoke turning to apologize to the insect Digimon unfazed by Genesis's psychotic rant.
"Their behavior on all accounts has been unacceptable." The Doctor murmured as she shook her head in exasperated derision before she glanced towards Siris.
"Siris however, has been good. He hasn't drunk anything and other then garnering the attentions of a mentally unstable assassin, which isn't entirely the boys fault, he's had a fairly safe evening." Cas explained more then willing to back up Stingmon's observation given that while coming to Old Terminus had been an bad decision on the young Digimon's part he had done so with initially good intentions.
"You needn't say anything Siris. Your family loves you. Your Father loves you. I'm sorry that you had to see the nastier thankless side of being a Doctor, but it was likely for the best. I'll speak with your Mother on getting you assigned a guard for the time being. Unfortunately with as unstable as those two are I don't entirely trust them not to hurt you." The Doctor added reaching up to knead her temples not looking forward to the conversation she would need to be having with K. It's likely the woman would be rightfully livid at the threat to her family and K despite her choices was still family.

With a sigh, Siris looked to Stingmon; "But I already organized that section!" he groaned a bit, but perked his ears and turned when Cas began to speak with him. He wasn't certain about what Viktor did? He just... took it. It seemed as though he was trying to put something behind him, and in a way, Siris could see why the reactions were garnered. But it was still unnecessary the way Genesis acted. She did that in the library too, and Viktor simply left. The young fox was still left uncertain about all of this, about who to point fingers where, he figured it was best to leave it here in the bar. Though, that was easier said than done.
He then tilted his head, hearing about the guard and the two that just stormed out; "Wow, are they really that dangerous? Viktor seemed pretty calm about the whole ordeal. Genesis... yeah nevermind, I think she makes up for the both of them!"
With that, he'd walk to Cas, offering one last hug before he left, and wanting to make amends for anything he might have done, "I really wish I could have changed that... I knew I should have spoken up."

"Viktor! Where are you?" Genesis called out, heading to the ends of the street they were on. No doubt attracting more attention as her partner was no-where to be found. She had so much more to say to Cas, and that Stingmon that still confused her why he was there in the first place, Digimon would eventually circle her, if she continued. No doubt insulting their favorite doctor was not exactly how to win hearts and minds. She sighed, reaching for her Digivice, only to find it was no longer attached to her hip.
"Great. Could this get any worse?"
The sudden onset of rain answered the question for her. Making the fox-turned-human sigh and walk to where she knew Viktor would find her.
Viktor, simply sat on the roof of a nearby bar, free of his bindings and alone with his thoughts. He swiped the Digivice while Genesis was not paying attention and flipped through it, examining pictures of him and Cas when he was still human. Sighing and deleting them one-by-one. This was what this was about, truly. Ending things. He knew that if he apologized, Cas would always have regret. It would be a mix of emotions that would lead to an unclear answer, something neither of them needed. He knew if he 'tricked' Siris into anything, it would bring him here, and would get Cas in that right mood. When she would inventively have a problem with the test, it was the perfect time to leave and... 'answer' the question. Stingmon was not exactly planned, but he figured Cloak or Dagger would do that job. He knew what buttons to push and where, and it would make her hate him. But that's what Viktor could be... an object to hate. He figured, it was better for her to despise him than to wonder if he still cared. To have at least closure on something, despite everything else.
Viktor sighed as he looked over the last photo, a selfie she took just before he was infected. When everything fell apart. When the Viktor and Cas the world knew died. Replaced with monsters. He thumbed over the delete button, taking one last good look before erasing the picture and tossing the Digivice into the mud below, where Genesis would likely find it. He spoke softly, under the deafening sound of the rain;
"I'm sorry, Cas."
With that, he returned to Genesis, who collected her mud covered Digivice and the two began their exit. Walking to the ends of the street, then to the outskirts of the city. Welcome back or not, it didn't matter. Viktor tried to tell himself it was just another loose end being tied up.
But it was so much more than that.

"Yes they are. Viktor more so then Genesis though not perhaps for the reasons you might think. Physically speaking they're hardly a threat. It was more the principle of the thing when it came to them threatening your Father and myself rather then any real concern." Cas murmured turning to face Siris one last time as she arched a brow at the fox's question. She was surprised he couldn't see it, but then again he hadn't known Viktor as long as Cas had.
"Viktor manipulates people. Plays them like a musician would play strings. He doesn't care about you or your own emotions, feelings, or plans. Only his own. He plays at being the passive victim, but I wouldn't be surprised if this had been his whole plan all along." The Doctor explained pinning Siris with a flat hard stare hoping to convey the seriousness of the matter.
"He takes away the free will and agency of those around them. He doesn't treat them like people. Doesn't bother to talk or explain the situation. He just makes the decisions for them and then justifies doing so because he believes he knows best." Cas intoned fury wrought into every inch of her form before she sighed running a hand over her tired face.
"He lured you here Siris. Moved you like a pawn across a chessboard, but he's not some infallible god. He makes mistakes and I don't want his manipulations and mistakes to cost you your life. That is why you Father wished you to avoid him and why I am asking you to avoid him as well." She explained stiffening slightly from the final hug, but allowing it all the same.
"Stingmon will see you home safely." Cas assured him.
