After Stage [Souji]

Everything was looking up for Souji right now, got the totem of wizardry (probably not the official name). Made two possible friends, who have been really helpful so far. And now has the opportunity to join a new team, the only issue came to Souji from within. Once he started to think about why he wanted to help Amy with her amazing dream, at first he wanted to believe it was out of selfless desire to do good, but the more he was left alone with his thought the more the boy realized he is selfish. All he wanted is to be accepted among his peers, be one of the bunch and not remain an outsiders. A part of him saw Joining Amy's cause as an oppurtunity to get that, and it made him feel bad. He wanted to be selfless like the comic book heroes he loves, but he is personal desires for acceptance and friendship dominating his mind till he shook his head and decided to ignore those ideas and continue to think happy thoughts.

When Amelie asked her question the brown haired boy placed his hand on his chin, thinking about it for a while. "Umm just the base of operations, and the general construction plans. If you can not show me that for some security measure I will understand and ask for a general tour then." Souji asked, the boy was excited to see what Amy has planned so far and learn how he can help.

Isabella however was mostly silent, she rested her elbow on the car's door handle, and resting the weight of her hand on her hand. Looking over the window, mind wandering on different topics changing as quickly as they come. She was here to help Souji, because she feels bad for the helpless kid. So she did not have a lot to ask about anything now, maybe later once they explored the city.

Souji was caught off-guard when the two girls chuckled at his security statement, the boy had a confused look on his face. What was so strange about what he said ? Well the brown haired boy waited listened to Ooi's explanation, it slowly became clear to him. This city project is really in its beginning phases, not a lot to keep a secret, which is a good thing since Souji can help with it more than he would if he had joined mid way or something.

"I see, well that's normal if the project is in the early stages. But hey you guys already have a big step done, having a bunch of workers is something to be happy about. And the fact that they can defend themselves is a huge plus."

Was Ooi's statement careless ? Perhaps, but the thing is Souji does not know anything about this aside from some senien manga. But even then Souji was a Shonen Jump kind of guy, so he knows more about the omnipotent power of friendship than he knows about how to run a city.

"Oh so we are finally here ? Nice, I really want to see what you guys made so far. And how I will add my personal and stylish touch to make it better of course. " Bella's words had some playfulness to it, she was joking and at the same time not really joking. As she was sure of herself and how she can contribute to this city, which is more than what can be said for Souji who slowly began to doubt the fact that he can help this city.

Once they reached their destinations everyone will get out and get into lift descending down. "Yeah it looks promising, I really appreciate your will to make a city here. That level of commitment takes courage, I know I would have not done something anything like this." Souji said as he turned towards Amy his lips curled to form a smile, his look was sincere as it was bright. He truly respected Amy, after all he heard from both Bella and his spirit that the Dark Area is one of if not the toughest location in the digital world.

"Ok we can take a tour, I will ask the questions in my mind while we walk. And umm my first question is about your day to day schedule, what responsibilities do the both you have ?" Souji asked as he crossed his arms, turning towards the girls with a puzzled countenance.

Souji shook his head at Ooi's statement, it was a bizzare statement but there is not much to think about there. So the boy thought the best solution would be to let things slide and allow the flow of the conversation to continue without any interruptions. More city related questions will be asked during the tour, so the boy bided his time for now. The fairy however was indeed very excited to be here, she has no reason to join aside from helping out Souji by helping out Amy and Ooi. She did not have ulterior motives, nor grand aspirations or a fear she wants to run away from by joining a group she was a true free spirit, grabbing life by the horns and doing whatever she wants, whenever she wants to.

But now that the tour started Bella was really interested in seeing what kind of progress is being made in this city, soon the group went to the well. While it may not be extravagant or flashy but it was surely useful and important. "I see you guys have a well, that is very useful and important. Water might be the most versatile and useful resource out there, so to have a decent source of it is something that is usually understated. " Isabella said as she was the only one not walking and instead is floating, Souji on the other was not really aware of how something as simple as water can be very useful. It was probably because of his up bringing, being a privileged kid who never faced any struggles in his life.

Souji turned to Ooi who was embarrassed, at first the brown haired boy did not understand why but when Amy continued to explain he quickly understood why. He shook his head trying to make Ooi feel comfortable "hey Ooi you know that its fine right, you should not feel embarrassed about that. You are already one of the most brave person here, I can't muster the courage to go to the digital world and I have powers so you are amazing in my eyes." Souji said as he wanted Ooi to feel better about herself.

But he then turned to Amelie as he nodded, what she said made sense. "I see, that makes sense. Workers are important so checking up on them is a smart idea."

The duo made of Isabella and Souji were getting more and more interested as they learn more about this very ambitious and cool project that Amy intends to make, Souji honestly was as clueless as he can be about this whole project, all of his knowledge coming from Anime/books like Legend of the Galactic heroes and Code Geass, so he struggled to keep sounding smart and relevant at the same time. Luckily for him he could hide his fanboyism and complete infatuation with the idea of being a part of something grand thanks to Isabella, the fairy had a lot more experience in this sort of stuff after all she was a citizen in of Luminas and saw how that beast is being run and say what you will about that horrible place but they know how to run a city.

"I see, well I am very impressed by what I am seeing. But I will get straight to the point, what you are doing to do Amy is not an easy task by any means. This is a monumental and heavy mission, and what would you need is patience discipline and lots of help. You will need to be able to assemble a team of professionals, a group that will help you in this task. And I will be honest I think I know how I can contribute to this city, but I will wait till I learn more before I pledge myself completely, don't take it personally but I would like to know our future leader better first."

And with that Bella finally showed active interest in the city and once she had her eyes set on doing something she would stop at nothing to achieve her goal, this same impressive and respectable ambition could be her one of her weakness as it will more often than not will lead to her being stubborn and even difficult at times. But if channelled correctly this could lead to the fairy doing great things and helping everyone she cares about.

Souji smiled at the shorter girl and gave her a simple nod, it looked like Ooi did not need his words of encouragement and support. But he felt like he needed to say it anyway, but he can't deny that Ooi was smart it was a shame she did not posses power in any shape way or form.

But the topic shifted back to the city and what Amy said, the two looked at amy and while Souji struggled about what to say to her regarding the situation. But Bella who is now invested in this city, had a very important question for Amy.

"Ok one of the questions I have before we continue, who are one of the others that work with you ? Or are you and Ooi alone ? And I will also like to see your HQ."

Bella could understand the logic behind Amy's desire to keep outside help kept to a minimum, the major downside the fairy could think about regarding using more help is that the project could easily get out of the tall girl's hand turning into something she hates, so wanting to only pick a selected few was a valid idea. Although she does wonder if Amy can keep it that way for long, it is something only time will tell. But its better to focus on the now.

"Thats fair enough, this seems to be your operation and opinions are just that, opinions. So if you are going the members of... lets call it the round table to a minimum that's your choice. Although a diverse set of advisors will be really beneficial, you know what they say, A can do what A can do and B does what B can do. But maybe I am rambling and being ahead of myself."

Isabella said shrugging a bit, the fairy did not expect to get invested in this effort of the city this quickly but here she is. Though her holier than thou attitude is already causing a bit of conflict, the smug blonde fairy was receptive enough to notice the tone of Amelie. Did she say something wrong ? No the fairy did not care about that, she only care about right now she just felt really really offended by it. Luckily for everyone present Bella manged to just nod and give amy a simple response. "Hmm I guess that's fair, I just want to know what I am getting into myself." She shrugged rolling her eyes, taking it away from Amy. Souji knew something was up, but the brown haired boy did not pick up on the tonal shift between Amy and Bella.

Amelie then made a decent statement, although the two wanted to know more about their other...teammates ? Is that right ? Whatever you call it, but its better to meet them in person so they can know them better than what Amy can describe. "Alrighty then I can't wait to meet everyone of them, as for the headquarters thing. What do you mean more important issues ? What is in the list of your priorities right now ? You can take that as my question before joining. I mean if you do not mind my question of course." Souji said, he lacked the intensity of Bella but the boy meant well and honestly wanted to help, yet he hesitated pushing himself onto Amy and Ooi.

Souji did not know that Amy had such a strong personality, while that meant that Souji would honestly be interested in talking to her and see what her opinions on things were but sadly Bella also had a similar personality which ment a clash. Hopefully the clash was not too heated, Bella is a bit of a diva and kind of forces her opinions on others but at the same if she feels people has a different opinion than her, the fairy won't change her mind but she will respect other people opinions and that is what she will do right now.

"I bet it is not easy indeed, even though this City seems small right now, running it does not seem like an easy task by any stretch." Souji said as he had hoped to continue and drive the conversation further and further away from the dispute between the brunette and the fairy, for as much as the boy enjoyed seeing two different arguments, he did not want the situation the heat up and eventually be really awkward, maybe he can see this debate in another day who knows.

The next topic was better, Souji was excited at the prospect of meeting the rest of team. Perhaps its the subconscious desire to be a part of a group or the curiously of meeting people who want the build a city and understand their philosophies or maybe its just to expand the currently small list of friends he currently, either way the boy was excited by the idea. "Awesome in due time, I would like to meet anyone who joined your efforts. I do wonder what kind of people they will be, I am looking forward to that. " Souji said as he had a smile on his face, Isabella nodded agreeing to the notion that meeting new people can be exciting.

When Amy began to make her priorities a little clear for everyone, Souji understood her way of thinking. What she is saying made a lot of sense to Souji, but that was not the case for Isabella as the fairy had a lot of disagreements with what the brunette said, but the tinkermon decided to not say anything for now.

"Oh I see, I really don't know whats going on and what should be done but I really want to learn. Do you think maybe I can see you during work one day ? If its not today maybe another day, as we should focus on the tour now. By the way any other thing you would want us to see ?"

Souji said, the boy was at a lost as he did not know if there was more to see, after all the city is still at the development stage.
