Nathaniel couldn't help but find peace of mind at his current location, the arcade, there was no explicit reason for it either, but the atmosphere was relaxing yet buys at the same time. His senses crowded by various sounds of cars, guns, carnivorous pizza shapes and the sound of boasting, all in Japanese of course. The language although becoming near second nature to him still felt and sounded a bit weird to him and he found it hard not to slip in his Jamaican accent along with his English tongue every now and then. He sighed as he leaned against the side of an arcade machine with his shoulder just as he remembered something fairly important, he had those strange creatures still lounging around from that green device of his. He removed it from his pocket and simply stared it down for a moment as he thought the digital creatures might seem happy he was giving them attention.
He shook his head trying to get away from the daydream of his as he pushed himself off the machine and moved himself towards the entrance. He was dressed in only his green tank top and a pair of black shorts, showing off most of his brown colored skin. He realized then and there that he had dressed for the weather although he had doubted it this morning as the sun began to heat up as the day progressed. He looked up to the sun, covering his eyes as his snap back was currently on backwards. It was in this moment he felt home sick, he missed the good old Jamaican sun and couldn't help but feel a slight longing for it and his people. He sighed slightly as he closed his eyes and simply soaked up the golden rays, his arms crossing in front of him as he inhaled and could feel it in his soul. It just wasn't the same. His backpack was cracked open, well mostly open and the infant digimon were sleeping soundly as he carried his bag on one shoulder.
Looking around he located a wall nearby outside the arcade he could lean against with his bag infront of him as he slid down the wall until he sat down. He looked at his two new friends a bit lovingly as he rubbed the top of both their heads, one of which was still a smoke cloud of a monster and the other a purple baby kind of digimon. He dropped the bag a bit around them so he could pet them and he wasn't sure why but he felt so attached to these things so quickly. But to him, he had to admit, they were really adorable.

Arya came out from an arcade near the corner of the street. It was Thursday, that meant no after school activity for her. And THAT meant ARCADE TIME! Sneaking off to this part of town wasn’t entirely disallowed by her grandpa, she told him that she had company, which was a lie and also quite the truth. She did had Shiyu by her side, and that was enough of a company. Even then he had requested her to have good grades and proof(hand in the result) in order to be allowed coming here, to the game center, to be more specific.
Arya wasn’t a game addict, but the DDR here had always undergone well maintenance, and she loved the game. Although her current heart condition wasn’t as bad as when she was young, she still couldn’t keep up the beat after five stages, but she had had the fun, so she was satisfied. Now, though, she was looking at the shop signs searching for the new store that was selling the recently trending peach fruit drink she overheard from the boys at school. Shiyu was quite in her bag, the very same picky brown blob who had just fussed over the pack strawberry Rocky she bought was probably asleep.
Arya sighed and put on her earphones, tuning off the sound of the buzzing urban life. Every now and then she could still hear the dull hum of engine of the passing by vehicles. There was a sudden movement in her back and a brown little head popped up from the partly unclosed zipper. Arya looked down, Shiyu seemed to be whispering something, but her music was too loud to clearly comprehend what she was saying. She hurriedly pulled out her earphones.
“Pardon?”
Shiyu was not annoyed, however she gave a puzzled look, common feedback from a baby, she guessed. “I smell digimon.” Shiyu innocently stated. Arya’s breath caught. “Where?!” she whispered, looking left and right. “I dyon’t knyoww, alu.” Shiyu shook her head. “We should be careful,” Arya alerted. They started walking, looking back from time to time, until she tripped on something, and was sent flying to the front.
Arya hit the ground with a soft thud, protected by her sling bag below. But what she hadn’t noticed was Shiyu accidently rolled out of the bag on the impact.

Nat's head was filled with all sorts of questions about these small digimon that he wanted answers to. This, after all was only day one of him actually having them and it hasn't even been a full 24 hours yet. He continued to smile at the monsters while he rubbed their little heads, if he remembered correctly he carried a Moonmon and a Mokumon at this moment, one of them having grown ahead of the other. According to his device on was fresh and the other was in training yet they both looked like gelatinous blobs to him for the most part. Mokumon was a smokey cloud while moonmon looked, well, nothing of the sort, but maybe it was a patience thing with these digimon.
As Nathaniel looked up he saw a girl moving full charge towards a broken tile, he didn't have to be psychic to know came next. He sprang onto his feet and ran full tilt towards the girl, not fast enough to save her fall, but quick enough to see a small brown digimon roll right out. He paused, frozen in time for a moment, one leg in the air as he simply blinked and looked at it. Was this fate, was this digimon thing meant to be thrown in his face for quite some time before it would suddenly just go away? Was this to be his life now, digital creatures traversing the land and rubbing their existence into his face? He was unsure what to even do next, but he let it all go and squatted down next to her and tilted his head. "Are you okay..?" He asked politely, turning to the digimon and trying to pick it up so it was not left on the ground, moving it closer to its partner, "I don't think this little guy would like it much down there either." He said with a smile from ear to ear.
He may be confused by all the happenings at this point but this moment was not about any of that, right now someone fell and needed his help. He was kind, he was generous and he could really learn to show that despite all this happening. He helped gather anything that had fallen out from the bag, or what he could anyway before he pointed back with his thumb to where he was sitting previously and smiled so wide his eyes shut in the process. His snap back sat firmly on his head as he flicked his head and began to walk back to his spot. "Plus, i think your friend might be interested in meeting my friends." He finished with a warm smile.
As he returned to his little wall spot, he crouched down and pinched the cheeks of both his sleeping digimon gently, the two of them shaking off the effects of sleep from as they groaned. As Nat pointed to the girl and her brown digimon, "Think you guys can say Hi for me?" He asked them jokingly as he rubbed their heads both of them moving into his hand like a cat. Nat stood up and signaled like he was flagging down a plane and he kept his signature wide smile as he did so, hopefully this girl would join them, hopefully she knew more than he did.

The cushioned fall was not painful, but her heart stabbed by embarrassment and discomfort was. Oh Arya, so much for telling people to be careful.. her head was now a jumbled up monologue as she started push herself up into a kneeling position. That was when she noticed a brown blob dropping down from the air and rolling to her side. Surprised, she looked up, only to find someone squatting in front of her.
His attire was a rarity, seriously, who would match a green tank with a black hoodie? If his outfit was to gain attention, then it was a huge success, with his dark skin, he did stood out like a sore thumb in the eastern Asian city streets.
Her attention soon switched to her her right hand, where the blob of slime laid motionless by her side. She looked at it wide eyed, as if to confirm her suspicion she rummaged in her bag searching for her lost friend. She found nothing.
The little Conomon’s eyes were rolling around frantically then focused on Arya with watery eyes, she knew Shiyu didn’t know what to do. She had taught her to act like a doll in public places, but they had never considered being caught by someone, so she hadn’t taught her how to act then.
It took her moments before she noticed the boy was speaking to her, talking about how Arya and Shiyu were close and buddies, but how he delivered his speech crept her out, it was as if Shiyu, her ‘stuffed toy’, was a living thing, and he was fully interacting with it. Had this guy gone nuts or was he actually fond of playing stuffed dolls with girls?
“I-i- suppose that’s just the doll I’ve dropped, hehe.. yeah, she’s sort of my best buddy.. yeah.”
Arya sense a motion at the edge of her eyes and looked over to the boy again, he had stood up and had advanced to a spot where a bag laid opened on the ground beside the wall. The bag wasn’t completely stuffed except for two little ball-ish things visible from her angle of view. Arya watched inquisitively as the boy bent down and pinched those tiny objects. The bag shook violently and it dropped lower exposing its contents. Two balls were in fact a puff of ignited smoke ball and a light purplish elongated.. pacifier? two pairs of eyes blinking with weariness, alive.
Arya was totally stunned.

Nathaniel couldn't help but smile at the females reaction to his little ones, they were half asleep and trying their absolute best not to just start yawning in front of the new two. Luna, the moonmon, looked up over to her brother who's eyes began to slowly close on him as he tried to stay awake. She bopped him over the head with her own and he bounced a bit off the floor and managed to land completely upside down. "If you weren't such a show off you'd still be sunmon right now..." She scolded as he flailed his smokey body as he rolled back onto his base, levitating slightly off the ground. "I know sis, i know! I'm sorry!" He added, pleading his case against his sister. "Come on guys!" Nat whispered, "Now is not the time you have people to meet!" The two of them looked over at the shocked female and tilted their heads, watching the little brown digimon in her hands.
"Are you always that....still?" Luna questioned as Nat sat down and pet them both as he did, completely forgetting people don't know about digimon. He figured if any passerby were to ask he could simply push it off as a ventriloquism, or some kind of new high tech dolls. He was actually curious about what to say about these creatures if he was asked, he can't believe he never thought of a genuine lie for their existence. Shedding those thoughts he merely gave Luna a stern look, "Stop judging people." He said as pet the side of her head, only for her to melt in his palm and nod politely, he knew she was being deceitful, but he didn't want to address it in front of people. Especially someone he did not even become fully acquainted with. Thinking about it, he should probably do that.
"Excuse my friends here, but uh....don't you remember me? Nathaniel? Nat?" He asked a bit caught off guard seeing a familiar face. He pointed to the digimon he had with him, "How about Luna and Blaze?" They both nodded, though Blaze's nodded nearly knocked him to the ground again, he was really tired. Luna was much more awake and simply nodded politely in turn, not wanting to say anything to upset Nat or get in the way of their budding relationship. "Your name was...Arya right?" He asked, "Also, the name of your doll as well....Shiyu?" He slipped in there as well. As he finished asking he found himself under the watchful eye of a crazy looking old man in a tin foil cap, the man wore a brown leather coat and it was tattered. He wore slippers as well, a random teal tone to it, as well as a green sweater vest, he looked pretty homeless from where he was sitting. The man had a crazy look in his eyes that made Nat feel a ted bit uncomfortable, but he didn't want it to show. He pulled his bag up a bit to cover his partners from the man, confusing them a bit as he tilted his head and gave him a rather serious look in turn. This was beginning to get a little weird.
