Skills/Talents:
-Blood Hound: Eris has an extremely sensitive nose allowing for her to not only easily differentiate scents and data signatures, but causing her to be able to track them over miles even days old. Making her quite capable of ferreting out smells and enemies even above or below. If she's gotten a taste of her opponent the distance and age from which she can track a scent is nearly doubled.
-Dark Vision: Due to her Dark Area heritage unlike most Guilmon's Eris has nearly perfect night vision in all her forms. Making darkness hardly an obstacle for the curious Digimon.
-Charming: A quick thinker with a penchant for trouble Eris has gotten rather skilled at talking, bluffing, or outright lying her way out of problems if she thinks she can avoid them without bloodshed. With her intuitive tendency towards rapt observations and oddly empathy making her a surprisingly charming little nuisance at times.
-Apprentice Smith: Being raised in a forge Eris is familiar with the basics of creating and repairing weapons and armor. To the point she can even repair simple damage to mechanical and weapon type digimon.

-Eris's holosuit makes her appear as a normal X-antibody member of the Guilmon line rather then a Black Guilmon X-Antibody.
Personality: Curious, clever, playful, strong-minded, and stubborn as the day is long with a penchant for trouble would perhaps be the most apt description of Eris. Not that she means to constantly find herself in trouble so much as trouble seems to constantly find her. It's nearly guaranteed that at the center of whatever current chaos is going on Eris can be found. This has lead to the little digimon being rather quick on her feet and a fast thinker in a pinch with trial and error proving swift teachers in educating her on what she can and cannot bluff her way out of. Despite her bluster and mischievous nature Eris has her heart in the right place and longs to be a fabled hero of the digital world righting wrongs and helping the disenfranchised and disheartened. She wants to make a difference, but her more aggressive nature and headstrong nature more often then not get in her way. Her penchant for showing affection with her teeth doesn't really help.
Personal History:
Eris came about in a culmination of a sordid tryst between Hephaestus an ancient Medieval Dukemon and his often adversary sometimes lover Nyx, a Death-X-DORUgoramon native to the Dark Area. Hephaestus's work with ICY Fate and the oversight the organization suffered from Luminas however, kept the pair apart more often then not much to the Medieval Dukemon's displeasure. While Logane, the leader of ICY Fate, cared little about his smith's affair Nyx's presence at their base for any long period of time ran far too great a risk of discovery by Luminas and the Death-X-DORUgoramon valued her freedom far too greatly to live out her life in hiding. In the end this resulted in brief impassioned encounters that grew more and more infrequent as Nyx joined the fight in attempting to beat back the D-reaper encroachment upon her home. One such encounter, much to Nyx's pleasure and Hephaestus's pride, producing an egg. Which Nyx entrusted to the Medieval Dukemon for fear of the D-reaper overrunning her nest. A fear that proved all too real as not a scant week in Hephaestus return to Icy Fate, egg in tow, word reached him of Nyx's fall in battle with the D-reaper. The news sending the Smith into a murderous rage forcing his brief incarceration at his fellows hands lest he throw himself to his own death fighting the D-Reaper in trying to avenge his lovers loss. His confinement only ending when Logane managed to beat some sense into the Medieval Dukemon pointing out that not only was this not what Nyx would have wanted, but Hephaestus was a parent now. His life was no longer merely his own. In the end the solemn Smith returned to his forge taking solstice in his mourning in the little egg he and his Nyx had created. The last remaining link he had with his lost love.
When members of ICY Fate say that Eris was born to the forge they do not mean it figuratively. The Jyarimon hatched swaddled in her Father's cape a short distance from the comforting heat of open flame as the Medieval Dukemon beat out a sword of chrome digizoid upon his anvil. The movement briefly attracting the Smith's attention as he paused in his work sliding the blade back into the fire to heat as he gently scooped his daughter up from the red folds of fabric she had all, but blended into. Holding her in his arms he marveled at his and Nyx's creation as the little Digimon peered up at her Father for the first time with those big striking blue eyes...and then promptly bit him. Startling Hephaestus and causing him to nearly drop her as the tiny Jyarimon gnawed on his arm affectionately and babbled with little unintelligible noises. "A troublemaker from the second she hatched," the Smith would go onto recount later on, "I could think of no more fitting a name than Eris for my little Forge."
And Eris lived up to her name.
While certainly well-intentioned and sweet Eris had a vast propensity for getting into trouble though her lack of legs hampered that quite a bit. This was not so once she evolved, much to Hephaestus's quiet panic and surprise, into a Black Gigimon. For while ICY Fate was unlikely to betray their Smith's trust in regards to Eris's Typing and viewed Eris as one of their own, the occasional Luminas patrol posed an all too real threat to the tiny In-training Digimon. Prompting Hephaestus to swiftly purchase and strap to his daughter a holosuit to adjust her coloring to that of a normal member of the Guilmon line. Since keeping the little hyper-active Black Gigimon contained swiftly proved an exercise in futility, her disguise allowing Eris to go where she pleased on the island. Though while she's well-loved and happy at her home at ICY Fate's Fortress as Eris grows older she's begun to grow more and more restless. Finding herself longing to see what adventures are to be had among the forests and lands she glimpses far below her floating island.

Making her quite capable of ferreting out smells and enemies even above or below. If she's gotten a taste of her opponent the distance and age from which she can track a scent is nearly doubled.
-Dark Vision: Due to her Dark Area heritage unlike most Guilmon's Eris has nearly perfect night vision in all her forms. Making darkness hardly an obstacle for the curious Digimon.
-Charming: A quick thinker with a penchant for trouble Eris has gotten rather skilled at talking, bluffing, or outright lying her way out of problems if she thinks she can avoid them without bloodshed. With her intuitive tendency towards rapt observations and oddly empathy making her a surprisingly charming little nuisance at times.

-Eris's holosuit makes her appear as a normal X-antibody member of the Guilmon line rather then a Black Guilmon X-Antibody.
Personality: Curious, clever, playful, strong-minded, and stubborn as the day is long with a penchant for trouble would perhaps be the most apt description of Eris. Not that she means to constantly find herself in trouble so much as trouble seems to constantly find her. It's nearly guaranteed that at the center of whatever current chaos is going on Eris can be found. This has lead to the little digimon being rather quick on her feet and a fast thinker in a pinch with trial and error proving swift teachers in educating her on what she can and cannot bluff her way out of. Despite her bluster and mischievous nature Eris has her heart in the right place and longs to be a fabled hero of the digital world righting wrongs and helping the disenfranchised and disheartened. She wants to make a difference, but her more aggressive nature and headstrong nature more often then not get in her way. Her penchant for showing affection with her teeth doesn't really help.
Personal History:
Eris came about in a culmination of a sordid tryst between Hephaestus an ancient Medieval Dukemon and his often adversary sometimes lover Nyx, a Death-X-DORUgoramon native to the Dark Area. Hephaestus's work with ICY Fate and the oversight the organization suffered from Luminas however, kept the pair apart more often then not much to the Medieval Dukemon's displeasure. While Logane, the leader of ICY Fate, cared little about his smith's affair Nyx's presence at their base for any long period of time ran far too great a risk of discovery by Luminas and the Death-X-DORUgoramon valued her freedom far too greatly to live out her life in hiding. In the end this resulted in brief impassioned encounters that grew more and more infrequent as Nyx joined the fight in attempting to beat back the D-reaper encroachment upon her home. One such encounter, much to Nyx's pleasure and Hephaestus's pride, producing an egg. Which Nyx entrusted to the Medieval Dukemon for fear of the D-reaper overrunning her nest. A fear that proved all too real as not a scant week in Hephaestus return to Icy Fate, egg in tow, word reached him of Nyx's fall in battle with the D-reaper. The news sending the Smith into a murderous rage forcing his brief incarceration at his fellows hands lest he throw himself to his own death fighting the D-Reaper in trying to avenge his lovers loss. His confinement only ending when Logane managed to beat some sense into the Medieval Dukemon pointing out that not only was this not what Nyx would have wanted, but Hephaestus was a parent now. His life was no longer merely his own. In the end the solemn Smith returned to his forge taking solstice in his mourning in the little egg he and his Nyx had created. The last remaining link he had with his lost love.
When members of ICY Fate say that Eris was born to the forge they do not mean it figuratively. The Jyarimon hatched swaddled in her Father's cape a short distance from the comforting heat of open flame as the Medieval Dukemon beat out a sword of chrome digizoid upon his anvil. The movement briefly attracting the Smith's attention as he paused in his work sliding the blade back into the fire to heat as he gently scooped his daughter up from the red folds of fabric she had all, but blended into. Holding her in his arms he marveled at his and Nyx's creation as the little Digimon peered up at her Father for the first time with those big striking blue eyes...and then promptly bit him. Startling Hephaestus and causing him to nearly drop her as the tiny Jyarimon gnawed on his arm affectionately and babbled with little unintelligible noises. "A troublemaker from the second she hatched," the Smith would go onto recount later on, "I could think of no more fitting a name than Eris for my little Forge."
And Eris lived up to her name.
While certainly well-intentioned and sweet Eris had a vast propensity for getting into trouble though her lack of legs hampered that quite a bit. This was not so once she evolved, much to Hephaestus's quiet panic and surprise, into a Black Gigimon. For while ICY Fate was unlikely to betray their Smith's trust in regards to Eris's Typing and viewed Eris as one of their own, the occasional Luminas patrol posed an all too real threat to the tiny In-training Digimon. Prompting Hephaestus to swiftly purchase and strap to his daughter a holosuit to adjust her coloring to that of a normal member of the Guilmon line. Since keeping the little hyper-active Black Gigimon contained swiftly proved an exercise in futility, her disguise allowing Eris to go where she pleased on the island. Though while she's well-loved and happy at her home at ICY Fate's Fortress as Eris grows older she's begun to grow more and more restless. Finding herself longing to see what adventures are to be had among the forests and lands she glimpses far below her floating island.
