The imp had to wonder how would anyone find any interest in his rambling about the human world, or even his tamer. Sure it meant a lot more to him, but after living through the things they had gone together, how could he not?
But...Cion didn't seem to be lying either, she actually seemed quite entertained by him, surprisingly, so either he was better with words than he gave himself credit for, or his date was far more interested on him than he expected. She even seemed to find his "elaborations" to be "enchanting", which of course he responded to by...slightly shrink back in his seat, the faintest tone of red in his face.
"Thanks." He almost murmured with a tiny smile, an almost modest tone to his voice. Was it too obvious he was surprisingly unused to genuine compliments? His larger than life persona usually got nothing but derision or sighs from everyone, but toning such a thing down around Cion was giving him nothing but positive results.
He tried not to dwell too long on this, as he quickly cleared his through and straightened himself once again.
"Swell might be a bit of a stretch I feel, but he's alright I suppose." He couldn't help but wonder what would her date tonight think of the man if she met him face to face, and more importantly what would him think of Cion. Knowing him he'd probably think she was either above mingling with someone like Dio, or that she was as perfect of a match as she could be. It was hard to tell, really.
He perked up right as she rather casually mentioned the fact she had started a city. While that wasn't entirely odd on it's own (after all, Carlos was friends with a human that was doing just that on the Dark Area), the purple demon couldn't help but be a bit surprised about it, either because he wasn't expecting Cion of all people to take a stab at such a frankly monumental task, or that she would share such a thing so casually in a conversation.
But truth be told, he was quite intrigued by it, and even a bit impressed.
"Your own city? I like your ambition." He nodded with a smile, leaning forward on the table just a bit, his interest quite obviously piqued. "What's Quantum like? Perhaps I could visit there someday." Despite his visible intrigue there was something she said that stuck out to him quite a bit-
"For the time being? You don't plan on living on a city of your own creation?" He asked, tilting his head to the side ever so slightly. That's what she was implying, right? It was somewhat puzzling for him, to say the least: as the Dark Lord he hyped himself to be, of course he'd love to live in a city he founded. Why wouldn't anyone?
