On the way to the treasure, Bezil discovered two traps in the floor. One was a nasty spring-loaded plate, that if they had trod on it, they would have been impaled by rusted spears a foot high. Bezil thought the best way would be to simply move around it.
The second trap was one of fire - a pressure plate that would have caused jets of flame to incinerate the one that was standing on it. Again, best way around that was to avoid it.
It was tricky finding a path to the treasure. So much so that Kitt seemingly lost patience and suddenly ran toward it. "Kitt! No!" Bezil cried out to him, but too late. Kitt encountered an electrified floor plate that launched him back several paces. Thankfully not on any other traps, but, this trap was something that concerned Bezil. Still though, he made his way to his companion.
"You okay, mate?" he asked Kitt, making sure the Spadamon was alright. If he was, Bezil would turn his attention to this new trap. To him, it seemed like it was a barrier of some kind. He knew not to touch electrified plate with a metal poker, so instead he took a closer look at how the electrified barrier worked.
The barrier seemed to guard the treasure from all directions, meaning that to get through it, they would have to disable it somehow. "Maybe there's a way through? Just as long as we can find a way to switch it off first?" Bezil asked Kitt, rubbing his own chin. "But... argh, of course it has to be electric. I'm not that experienced with that element." he sighed, but he wouldn't give up that easily. "But I do know one thing. An electric current needs a connection to stay active. If we can somehow disrupt the connection, no more electricity. So maybe if we can cut off these electric plates from the source, we can get through?"

Kitt fell to the ground after the electric shock send him flying. For a few moments, everything was hazy, his body, limbs, and muscles all felt they had been turned off and turned on repeatedly. He slowly liftdd himself up, holding the back of his head. It was aching so much that he couldn't answer Bezil right away until the ringing in his ears stopped. "Yeah...I'm fine," he slowly said, giving a weak thumbs up. "I'm sorry about that. Just seeing the treasure made me so excited. I couldn't stop myself...To think I'd be making rookie mistakes so easily..."
Once his head stopped spinning, Kitt was able to take in his surroundings - which gave him a very clear message. The treasure was protected by some sort of electrical barrier. It looked like it was activated when he stepped on a floor plate that activated the trap. He got to his feet, and started to analyze the barrier along with Bezil. The Gumdramon made a good point: the barrier seemed to be connected by a power source. If they can disturbed it, the barrier would go down, granting them access to the treasure. But the question remains: where is the power source? "Yeah," Kitt replied , "But the only problem is that this trap doesn't looked to be power by a generator or something. This place is too isolated to have something sophisticated like a generator with a switch." He went up to the wall next to the barrier, placing both hands as if he was searching for something. " Maybe there's a hidden mechanism or something that could turn off the barrier."As he analyzed the wall further, Kitt felt something being pushed into a small space. He quickly removed his hand and saw that the spot where pushed was emitting a blue glow. The glow started to expand, covering the wall, making Kitt take a few steps back in response. "I think I did something!" Kitt blurted, not knowing what was about to happen. Soon enough, symbols started to appear one by one; symbols that were text called Digimoji. "What does it say?" Kitt asked Bezil. "It looks like a riddle or something, but I'm not sure."

Bezil was glad Kitt wasn't too badly hurt. While it had been a reckless move, well, since Kitt had proven the trap was electric, Bezil was very close to sharing the same fate, holding a metal poker to an electric floor trap would have made him suffer the same. However, the Gumdramon didn't remain glad about it, his friend had suffered and thus he felt it was his job to prevent that happening again.
After Bezil raised his theory, Kitt replied that there didn't seem to be any generators nearby, plus the level of technology here wasn't sophisticated enough for something like a switch or wires.
"Yeah, you're right." Bezil replied. "So this might be related to direct elemental energy... you might have just got zapped by Thunder elemental data. But... what does it mean? How can we get through this...?"
Then Kitt pressed a panel on the wall, causing it to light up with digimoji. Bezil looked at it with wonder, narrowing his yellow eyes to try and figure out what the symbols meant. Yeah, he had been educated with how to read this language, but not enough so that he could translate it without a chart. And he did not have one upon his person.
Kitt asked what it said, stating it looked like a riddle. Bezil could only identify a few words among it. "I can figure out the words "Path", "Renew", "Fields." he said. Then he looked to the panels in front of the treasure, then his eyes widened. "Look, Kitt! The panels have lit up!" he exclaimed, pointing at them.
While before they had been inconspicuous stones in the floor, now there was a lit-up grid of stones standing between them and the treasure. The grid was 10 stones wide - the distance between each wall, each stone being 2x2 feet in area. And they were 8 stones deep, between the unmarked stones they were standing on, and the unmarked stones in front of the treasure chest.
As for the marked stones, each of them lit up with a different symbol. Bezil narrowed his eyes as he looked at them. They were all lit up light blue in color, but each of them had a different symbol. At least he thought first... then he realized they were displaying one of 10 symbols. And as he looked at them further...
"That stone you stepped on, that's showing the spirit symbol of Water." Bezil said, pointing to it. "And next to it is the symbol of Thunder... hmm..." he noticed that each stone in the 8x10 grid displayed one of the 10 symbols of spirit elements in the digital world. Fire, Water, Ice, Wind, Earth, Thunder, Metal, Wood, Light and Darkness. "Okay, so each stone has an element, but... there's so much more stones for Water and Metal than there are for others..."
It was then that he thought of a theory. Bezil carried the metal poker to the edge of the grid, held it over a Metal stone, then dropped it, and jumped back when the metal rod sparked with electricity.
Then it clicked. Kitt had been zapped by electricity by treading on a Water stone. That stone was connected to a Thunder stone. As was the Metal stone. What if...?
"Okay, Kitt, I'm gonna test one of these stones myself." Bezil replied, then looked for a Fire stone. He treaded on it, and it glowed yellow, but there were otherwise no ill effects.
"Ahh..." Bezil said, smiling. "I think I've got it! The way to the treasure, don't step on any Thunder, Water or Metal stones! Only they're conducting the electricity!"
With that, Bezil stood on the Fire stone, then saw the next one was a Light stone. He stepped on it, again it turned yellow, and there were no further ill effects. It seemed their task to find the treasure was to find a path through this grid that did not carry a Thunder, Water or Metal stone, otherwise they'd be zapped out of it. Bezil trod carefully, inviting Kitt to keep up with him.

Gazing at the digimoji, Kitt couldn't help to be simply mesmerized by it, not because of how the text was seemly powered by digital energy according to Bezil, it was due to the fact that he couldn't decipher any of it because well...he didn't know how to read.
Unlike any Digimon, who were taught the basics of reading at a young age, Kitt never got the chance to learn how to read due to being raised in a village where everyone despise his existence left and right. Because of that, the Spadamon has to go about reading through pictures and symbols throughout his daily life, hence why the map he had had no text, or even a legend, because if did, he would have no idea how to comprehend it.
Thankfully, Bezil could translate some of the text, the words being "Path", "Renew", and "Fields". After that Bezil pointed to the floor which was now lit-up like a grid, some of the stones being marked with different symbols, while the others remained barren.
Kitt blinked. "Woah, it looks like a giant puzzle come to life," he commented, thinking about what could this all mean. Along with Bezil, he narrowed his eyes as they both examined them. A question lingered in the young Spadamon's mind: just who, or what forged this elaborate puzzle? Judging by how the symbols were powered by digital energy alone, he hypothesize that this place might have been created by digimon from long ago, before the Digital World bloomed from technology even, though he wasn't sure.
Bezil then pointed out the stone that Kitt stepped on, the one that zapped him, was the symbol of Water. The next stone showcased the symbol of Thunder. In fact, all of different symbols on the grid represented a different element, that much he knows, but he still didn't get what the Gumdramon was inferring or planning as he tested out one of the stones with the metal poker he was carrying.
Kitt only looked with curiosity as Bezil was about to step on one of the stones, prompting him to become alarmed . "Wait, don't or you'll be zapped like me, or something worse!"
Seeing that nothing happened, Kitt became wide-eyed as he was confused on why didn't anything happen to his partner. Bezil then warned him to not step on any Thunder, Water, or Metal stones as he slowly kept going, saying that they conducted electricity. Of course! Why didn't he think of that?
Following the older Gumdramon's lead, Kitt started to hop onto the corresponding stones. As with Bezil, nothing happened.
"Hey, you're really smart Bezil," he said smiling. "I don't think I would have been able to figure this out on my own. I probably would have gotten zapped again, or lit on fire, or sent down to a booby-trap with metal spikes."

Kitt remarked that it was like a puzzle come to life. "Yeah, it sure does." Bezil answered, and would have added that it was somewhat exciting, but Kitt had just been badly electrocuted, meaning the novelty had been worn away fairly quickly and that they should both take this very seriously if they didn't want to be injured in all this.
Bezil would then look around for further clues afterward to pursue his further theory about this all that this puzzle's main hazard was electricity. The elemental symbol of Thunder appeared on the walls ahead of them too, which confirmed it in his mind that it was the main thing to watch out for. After all, stepping on the Fire stone did not cause a flame trap to occur, nor did standing on a Light stone cause any effects. Frankly, it seemed that stones other than Thunder, Metal and Water were all safe to step on.
Kitt complimented him, and Bezil smiled back, pausing. "Thanks, mate, just let's take care from here on, we haven't won until we get the treasure out of here." he advised.
Eventually, they would find their way through the elemental tile path, then they were face-to-face with the treasure chest ahead. Bezil thought about approaching it right away, but couldn't discount the possibility of there being traps here. "Okay... let's be careful here and check the chest for traps." Bezil advised, then examined the chest as best he could, trying to find any mechanisms that would cause them harm if they attempted to open it. And if there were, he would start thinking of ways of disarming said traps so that they could safely open it.

Kitt nodded at the Gumdramon's advice. "Don't worry, I'm real careful when it comes to balancing. You might as well call me the balancing expert." He mused. Bezil was right; they weren't out of the wood just yet. One bad step on these booby-trapped tiles and they were going to be in to more than just a shock like he received early. The Thunder and Metal stones were pretty self explanatory: step on one, you get a jolt of electricity through you, but what about the Water stone he wondered. Would stepping on one drop them into a enclosed space with nothing but spikes, or to a place where water quickly fills up until the both of them drowned?
Luckily he didn't had to think about any longer, as they were now face-to-face with the treasure itself. The Spadmon's tail started to swish up and down excitingly, almost uncontrollably. His eyes started to wide with anticipation as he finished traversing the title path. As he jumped of the final title, he immediately pulled out his Blue Queen, slashed the large lock clean in two and dived into the golds, silvers, rubies and pearls, ignoring Bezil.
"Finally! Treasure, treasure, treasure~" he sung. The chest was so big that he could practically swim in it. He started to sing and laugh like a child that had just found the best toy in the world. He then looked over to Bezil, who was for some reason analyzing the chest. Wanting to surprise him, he slowly disappeared into the gold. After a few moments, he would surprise the Gumdramon by pulling him into the chest if he had noticed Kitt's disappearance.
"I - can't - believe - we - hit - the - jackpot!" He exclaimed, punctuating each word with a breath. He continued to laugh in triumph, splashing the treasure like it was water. He didn't noticed, but he was starting to act a little bit like Ophelia with every time he gets really excited.

Bezil was glad that after that initial shock, Kitt took the path seriously. They would proceed to tread carefully, nothing bad happening to them as long as they didn't step on stones that conducted electricity. Which honestly made Bezil quite relieved. There could be so many variants to this "elemental stone maze" that could bring disaster to them; fire stones burning them, ice stones freezing them, but it seemed it was just lightning, steel and water stones to avoid here. The remaining 7 elements seemed to be harmless.
Bezil remained close to Kitt through the rest of the maze, ready to help him with any hazards, but it seemed that they had already passed! When there were no more tiles between Kitt and the treasure, he would draw his weapon once more and destroy the lock of the treasure chest.
Bezil initially made noises of objection telling him to be more careful, but nothing further bad happened. Then Kitt surprised him again by pulling him into the now open chest of gold and treasures. Bezil yelped at first, but, then upon realizing that he was in fact up to his waist in actual gold and riches, with no further traps, the Gumdramon started to giggle with triumph too. "Yeah! We really did it!" he cheered, grasping Kitt's paws and managing a little dance with him.
However, once within this chest, Bezil felt something strong and cold very much nearby. He stopped celebrating and pushed his paws into the treasure, then pulled out an object that made his golden eyes widen. It was a silver egg-shaped object, with a white underside, silver spiked overside, and orange hair over the back. As Bezil inspected it closer, he saw that there was in fact a crest upon its top as well. "This is... an armor digimental." he whispered. And that he was able to hold it in his own paws, that clinched it. This was his.
Upon learning this, Bezil turned to Kitt, giving a smile. "Okay, mate. How about we work this out like this?" he asked, willing to be generous here. "Of this stash, I get to keep this." he held the digimental. "You meanwhile get to keep everything else, at least as much as you can carry. That sound good to you?"
Bezil really was willing to let Kitt have all the treasure here, other than the digimental that he himself had collected. He hoped his Spadamon friend would be fine with that.
"In fact, if it's too much for you to carry, I could get my dad to help you out?" he suggested further. He knew that Owen knew honour enough to provide the power enough to render unto Kitt what riches that Bezil thought he'd be entitled to earn. "Just... make sure none of it's cursed.?" he finished as an afterthought. Cursed treasure was sadly common in the digital world; ready to punish digimon for their greed. Bezil hoped he'd be able to escape its effects by only seeking what he thought was his, but even then, could that be booby-trapped?

After their congratulatory celebration, Kitt went and dived back into the gold, swimming in it like he was in the center of a pond. Ever since he was a In-Training, he always had an uncontrollable love when seeing things worth a high price like gold, silver, rubies, jewels, pearls, and any other riches. He didn't know where that infatuation came from, but whenever he sees treasure, he would lose all sense of reason and level-headedness and start fawning over it. Usually he would keep such high emotions on check, especially around others since the Spadamon doesn't like a lot of eyes on him. But in this case, especially around his new friend, he didn't mind.
Kitt then resurfaced with the biggest grin on his face wanting to check to see how Bezil was taking all of this in. It wasn't everyday that you come across a slew of treasure, after all. The Gumdramon then proposed that Kitt can keep the whole chest to himself only if he can bring one item on the road with him, which was a silver-egg shaped object. Looking at the thing, Kitt nodded his head in approval.
"Yeah, sound like a good deal." he answered. "We found the treasure together so it only makes sense that you came bring something home with you. Though you're happy to take more things with you, though. It feels a bit wrong with me bringing all of this home and you only bring back a single thing."
After Bezil's response, he would then suggest to Kitt on contacting his father if carrying the whole thing became too much for him. And that was a good question: how was he going to carry this out of here? They can't exactly go back the way they came in since the way they got in was too tight for this chest to fit through. He might have to only bring a select few items like Bezil and leave all of this here. His ears flapped down; he didn't like that thought too much.
Before he couldn't respond to Bezil's suggestion, the whole cave started to quake, and from beneath them a rumbling noise echoed. The ground beneath them shuddered tremendously, and the area around them was suddenly rising from it's place, the wall a couple of feet besides them crumbled apart, revealing a pitch black hallway only illuminated by glowing lights on its walls.
"Eeek!," Kitt yelped, holding onto Bezil for safety.
The floor beneath them changed from a flat surface to a slope, with them at the top of it, and at the bottom, the void hallway. From this height, another light source can be visibly seen in the mysterious hallway, only this one was much dimmer and seemed to be far away.
The ground quaked again, this time slowly moving the chest until it was teetering on the edge. Kitt swallowed, and slowly turned to the Gumdramon, shaking.
"D-D-Do you think that might be a way OOOOOOOOOUT!" Without little warning, the chest they were in finally tipped over and they began to slide into the blacken void below, almost like they were on a cart ride through a mine. Kitt would hug Bezil tightly, screaming as they went in to the darkness. Wherever this place would lead them, only the next minute would tell.

Bezil couldn't help but give a little smile at Kitt as he said that he could have more than just the digimental. "Well... alright. I'll be happy to take a bit more than that. So much of this treasure could be used to help other digimon..." his yellow eyes wandered upwards as he thought of the possibilities. "I could sell some of this in Terminus for some bits that can be used to help out the Village of Beginnings and Rosewood... and of course my home in Ys is in need of some extra funding. Yeah... okay, I will accept that offer, thanks, Kitt!"
Further thoughts were delayed by the earthquake that followed. Bezil felt his stomach drop several inches as the floor rumbled and changed. The ground below them transformed completely, forming what seemed to be a ramp that led directly downward.
"...meep." was all Bezil could say. As Kitt held on to him, Bezil held the Spadamon in return, staring into the tunnel with fright on his face. He tried to be brave like his parents, but, this was a little too much for him to be brave for. It was all he could hope that it would not be their impending severe injuries that laid ahead.
"...could be." was all Bezil could answer before the chest they were riding began to fall down the slope. As Kitt held to him and screamed, Bezil felt he could do nothing else but do the same. He held Kitt in return and tried his best to not fall out of the chest as they hurtled down the ramp, to wherever it would lead. If it was a ramp to a trap, then that would simply be their end. Unless Bezil could save them in time of course.
Remembering that he was the bigger brother to several siblings, Bezil tried to be the same for Kitt, holding his scream and kept his eyes ahead for whatever laid ahead for them.
"Hold on, Kitt! I've got this!" he forced himself to say, ready to get himself and the Spadamon through whatever ordeal laid ahead.

Kitt was unable to hear Bezil as whatever he said was drowned out from his screaming. He was utterly terrified. So terrified that he couldn’t even open his eyes to see what was happening in front of them. All he could do was scream.
He hoped that some miracle would happen and they would land somewhere safe,he hoped that they would make it out without any injuries, and hoped that the nightmare of a roller coaster was soon end.
It was at this point that he didn’t care if they lose the treasure that took them so long to find; all that mattered to him was that they would survive this.
To Bezil, he would eventually see a sunlight coming from the end of the tunnel. As they approached closer and closer to it, the slide slowly became horizontal, and the velocity of the chest they’re on decreased in speed. After a couple of more seconds—seconds that stretched on forever, they were out.
The chest would slightly slide on for a few dozens more feet until they came to a complete stop on a grassy area near the abandoned Trailmon tracks the Gumdramon was at before he met Kitt.
For Kitt, however, the Spadamon would still be screaming, with tears coming down from his closed eyes, and still holding onto his friend tightly, still unaware that the nightmare ride came to an end.

It was Kitt's terror that prevented Bezil from losing his own composure. In this moment, Kitt reminded him of his little brothers and sisters. While for a while Bezil was used to being the youngest sibling of the family that needed protection, part of why he had gone on his own adventures were because he was no longer the youngest, and was now ready to use what he learned to take care of those he could.
Thus, when the chest careened down this crazy rollercoaster-like-ride, Bezil held Kitt protectively, as Owen had held him in the past. Any obstacles, Bezil would break through them, his tail at the ready to deliver a hammer smash. He managed to do so to some rubble to give them a clear route.
Eventually, they emerged back into the daylight, and the treasure chest came to a halt. Bezil panted, but Kitt was still screaming and crying, holding onto him.
"It's okay, Kitt, mate, we're safe now." he said, hugging him in return, stroking his back in an attempt to calm him down. "We're safe. The treasure's all ours... and look! We're near the Trailmon tracks! We could hire a Trailmon with a cart, or bring some friends along that can carry the treasure back with us!"
Things had turned out pretty neat now. Hopefully Kitt could calm down enough so they could discuss this more rationally.

It'd take a couple of moments for Kitt to become aware of what was going on, the furred Gumdramon hugging him back and reassurance that they were ok being enough for him to stop his screaming. He slowly pick his head up from Bezil's chest, with tears still in his eyes.
"Are...you...sure?" Kitt managed to say, still overwhelmed to what they'd just experienced. "We're not...in another t-trap...are we...?" Lookin at Bezil's eyes, he was telling the truth: they were finally safe from all the booby-traps. Had things gone differently, it would have surely been their end, and that thought alone still terrified him. The moment he let his guard down thinking that they safely secured the treasure was a big mistake - a mistake that could have cost them their lives.
But yet, he felt oddly relaxed, relaxed in a sense that everything's going to be alright, largely in part of Bezil. The way in despite in the face of danger, he didn't become fazed at all; he met danger in the face and kicked it square in the face. He could tell that the Gumdramon was experienced in these sort of encounters, maybe even worse. He was glad to have met a brave friend like him.
Drying his tears and still sniffing, Kitt analyzed the area around him. The treasure was still intact, with few golds and rubies probably falling off during that nightmare-coater, but nothing too serious was lost. In addition. they were back near the Trailmon tracks, right where their adventure began. Bezil suggested either hiring a Trailmon with a cart, or getting help to bring the treasure back. Both suggestions made the Spadamon tilt his head in question.
"How will you go about doing that?" he asked. "There doesn't seem to be any Digimon out here for miles. And even if they want to show up, the tracks are still abandoned. They look like they haven't been in use in ages, like that village we were at a few hours ago."

Bezil waited patiently for Kitt to realize that the danger was now over. He continued to treat the Spadamon gently until he was able to speak again.
When he did so, he raised a good point. These were abandoned Trailmon tracks, no Trailmon would venture out this way for risk of derailment. No, they'd need a better means of transport than this... and with someone they could trust too.
Bezil pondered his options for a moment, then eventually set on what he thought was his best choice of action. In the end, he could only settle on the one. But he hoped it'd go better than he thought it would.
The Gumdramon pulled his D-Terminal from his vest and raised it to his cheek as he dialled the familiar number. After a few moments, a voice spoke from the other end.
"Hello, Bezil?" he heard his father's voice.
"Hey, dad." the furred Gumdramon answered. "I've... just been on a little adventure with a friend here in the Tyrant's Labyrinth. We're both safe, but, we need a little bit of help with transport. Would you... be able to come here please? With a rail trolley maybe? We've got a bit of cargo that we need to move."
"...geez, mate, sounds serious." Owen replied. "Okay, give me about an hour and I'll be there with the stuff you need, mate."
"Thanks, dad." Bezil said, then the communication was severed. With that, Bezil turned to Kitt with a smile. "It'll be fine! My dad's coming, and then we'll get to keep the treasure!"
As promised, about an hour later, there was the sound of jets through the forest. Bezil looked up to see a MachGaogamon descending toward them. He waved up at him, and Owen landed in front of them. The blue wolf digimon quickly came to a conclusion as to what was going on here.
"Ahh, I see, gone treasure hunting here, Bezil?" he asked, grinning. "Pretty good load there. And I take it it's 50/50 with your mate here, yeah?"
"Y-yeah, dad..." Bezil answered, supposing that was right.
"Well, to be more accurate, 50 with your mate, 25 with you, and 25 with your future investment..." Owen corrected himself. Bezil was aghast.
"Dad! Please! I'm a grown digimon! You can't..."
"Correct, I can't, but your papa Hikaru, who also is your boss with KIZNA, can." Owen corrected him. Bezil sighed in resignation, unable to counter that. With that done, Owen turned to Kitt. "Nice to meet you, mate. I'm Owen, Bezil's dad here. And give me a few moments and I'll help you move this stash wherever you want."
In the next few moments, Owen would unpack and activate a hand-operated railcart from his infini-store. While it seemed fairly primitive, it would allow them to transport their stash of treasure to Rosewood, where they could properly process it.
"A Trailmon might not be able to run these tracks, but we sure can." he reasoned. "Come on, you two ready?" he asked of Bezil and Kitt.
Realizing that this might be their last chance to talk in private, Bezil would quietly speak to Kitt.
"It's been great working with you, mate." the Gumdramon said, smiling. "I'm glad to have met you, and you seem like a great digimon. Once we get back to Rosewood, how about we have a snack together?"
Owen assisted them as far as getting the treasure chest on the railcart. But to Bezil's dismay, he then promptly de-digivolved down to Gaomon and sat at the front, crossing his arms and legs.
"It's your treasure, mate, you're gonna have to do the hard yakka." Owen told him.
"But... only a quarter of it is mine, from what you said..." Bezil objected. The Gaomon grinned up at him.
"Treasure and friendship... that's what you got today, son." Owen said. "Don't worry, all you need to do is get into the rhythm together, then you'll be zooming down these tracks. All I'll do, as your dad, is handle the brakes."
Bezil then understood the challenge, then turned to Kitt, giving a grin. "Looks like this is how we're carting the treasure back." he remarked. "Ready for the work, mate?" he held his side of the double-ended acceleration lever of the railcart in anticipation.

Kitt blinked a bit curiously when Bezil reached into his vest, pulling out a D-Terminal like his. He then waiting in silence when the Gumdramon decided to make a call, still sniffling. He could barely make out the other voice, but from the looks of it whoever was on the other line was coming to help.
Kitt took a peak at his D-Terminal that he kept in his pocket. He was surprised that it also had the capability to call someone from far away distances. Since he was technology inept, he wasn't very good at using it, only knowing how to turn it on at first. For now he could only send out texts via voice command that was installed by Eris. Unitl he figured out how to do what Bezil did, he was going to stick with what he was used to.
When Bezil got off the phone, he revealed that his dad was coming. Kitt quietly nodded in approval, taking a seat on the short grass. Where they were now, it would take a while for his dad to come, which was fine by him.
An hour later, Kitt's ear twitch as he heard the sound of a roaring jet engine coming closer to their location. He looked up along with Bezil, seeing a MachGaogamon landing next to them. In response to this, Kitt hid behind the furred Gumdramon, nervously, listening to their conversation before the Mega Digimon noticed him.
Kitt poked slowly moved from behind Bezil before politely introducing himself. "H-Helloi...I'm Kitt." His voice was quiet, still a little bit shaken up from their ordeal. He watched as Owen made a rail cart materialize from a small cube, making the Spadamon widen his eyes in surprise. It was amazing how such a large object can be stored in something that could fit in the palm of your hands.
Kitt returned a smile back to Bezil as he thanked him. "It's been amazing working with you too." he replied. " You're an amazing Digimon, and sure, I'll be more than delighted to join on your offer. Adventuring for treasure does work up an appetite after all. Hehe~"
He watched Owen helped put the treasure chest on the railcart before he devolved into a Gaomon. Seeing as how the railcart was hand-operated, him and Bezil were going to take the helm and guide them back to Rosewood. He didn't protest at all. After all, it was their treasure after all, so their adventure was not over yet.
Looking at the treasure, Kitt couldn't help but slightly frown at it. Sure he and Bezil and shared it, but he couldn't help but feel a bit...guilty? There's a chance that finding a hefty sleuth of gold and riches like this might not come again, but to keep his part of the treasure to himself, which was a lot, felt a bit gluttony to him.
Getting on the opposite side of the acceleration lever, Kitt gave a wink and a thumbs up, signaling Bezil that he was good to go. The two would get right to work, huffing it.
"You know...I've been thinking. Once we reached Rosewood, I think I'm gonna donate my share to Digimon who really need it." He told to both Bezil and Owen. "Growing up homeless, there are so many Digimon out there that can't even find shelter from the cold, or know where their next meal will come from. So I think instead of keeping it all to myself, I'll just take a little bit for myself, and my friends and master, and for the rest of my share I'll give it away." He turned to Bezil with a grin. "I want to bring smiles and joy to Digimon's faces, wanting to turn their gloom and doom days into something better, ya know."
When they had met, Kitt reluctantly agreed to share the treasure with Bezil, as he initially wanted to keep it all for himself. Now at the end of their adventure, he learned that treasure like golds, pearls, diamonds, and rubies were meaningless, for he found the most important treasure of all:
Friendship.

While initially he seemed nervous, Bezil was glad when Kitt seemed to be alright with his father. Owen had something of that way with young digimon, speaking with enough casual gentleness to get most rookie digimon to relax around him. After all, Bezil had only seen Owen become truly threatening once - and that was against a digimon that was trying to kill him.
Bezil blushed and made held his paws behind his back, shuffling on his foot as Kitt said he was amazing. "Aw, come on, I'm not that good." he bashfully replied.
"Don't sell yourself short, mate." Owen interrupted. "You're a great digimon, through and through, and I've been around you long enough to know that."
"Aw, geez, dad..." Bezil had to turn his face, embarrassed by how mushy all this felt. But still, he was happy at the prospect of a nice meal with Kitt back in Rosewood.
Once they were on the cart and on their way back home, Bezil looked at Kitt as he said that he'll only take what he needed from the treasure stash. The furred Gumdramon beamed at him in response. That was wonderful to hear.
"If you're doing that, then I'll do the same!" he said, proudly. "What do you think of that, dad?" he asked his father.
"I'm happy to hear that." Owen replied. "Rosewood's a growing place that needs lots of resources for all the young digimon with nothing to settle down in. Once we get back, I'm sure the charities around town would love to see this treasure and give it fairly to the digimon that need it. Of course, you can have a finder's fee, you two look like you went through a lot to get this."
"Thanks, dad." Bezil said, smiling.
"Of course, you'll be taking the digimental, mate." Owen added. "No other digimon can have that, so it's yours. You take good care of it, and learn as much as you can about the Armor form it'll give you."
Bezil nodded in response, he planned to take care of this treasure. That treasure being the Digimental of Pioneering, and it was his. As the sunlight twinkled through the canopy above, they began to get close to the outskirts of Rosewood, and thus closed a chapter on their adventures together, as well as their lasting friendship.
