While there wasn't anything extravagant, the domicile was filled with high-quality furniture and fancy art reprints on the walls. Standard adult stuff in off-beige rooms. However, David's room is where everything got a lot more bright. The walls were painted a vivid red and shelves lined almost every surface, filled to the brim with various action figures and memorabilia from his favorite TV shows: Power Rangers, Super Sentai, and Kamen Rider. David loves LOVES the whole "Super Hero Team vs Monster of the Day" genre to the point where it's almost an obsession, though not an unhealthy one. He surrounded himself with friends that shared his interests, which was a very good thing indeed.
The boy needed many friends, as his parents were, while not neglectful, not around as much as he would like. His mother, being in such a high position, had to travel all over the country. She was gone almost every weekend and worked constantly during the week. And his dad was just distant emotionally. He kept to himself, for the most part, just watching the news.
