Please post within 3 days of the last post in this thread, although faster is always preferred. Ideally, I want to be able to have at least one posting cycle finished per week.Deep in the heart of the Digital World's tundra, Terabyte Mountain was always one of the coldest places that any Digimon could venture towards. Yet even by the standards of the frozen wastes, the current state of the mountain was far out of the ordinary. For one, the mountain's stone surface practically glimmered in the sun, a sign that the rock making it up had been completely frozen over by ice. It was also surrounded by what was practically a halo of wind and snow. Every few minutes the wind picked up, sending powdery snow erupting in all directions as it corkscrewed around the mountain. It was almost a parody of the winter weather common to the area. As if to make matters worse, clouds of thick, misty snow kept drifting in front of the sun, depriving the area of what little warmth and light it actually had.
Needless to say, when Ophelia, Zachary, and Arthur would exit the keyholes dropping them off at the base of the mountain, they might have been in for a bit of a shock. Even Rasielmon seemed to be shivering as her voice echoed from the humans' Digivices. "Are you all hanging in there?" she asked, between chattering teeth. "Just watching you all makes me feel like I'm freezing."
"It's not like you're wearing a fur coat or anything," Bagramon chimed in. "Still, conditions do seem worse than we anticipated. Do your best to be careful out there."
With how big Terabyte Mountain was, the search could really go in any direction. To group's east were the tall, shelf-like cliffs notorious to the area. Many an eager explorer had tried climbing these in the past to get closer to the mountain's top, but few had taken on the challenge in conditions like this. Snow and ice were caked onto the faces of the cliffs, to the point where it would be difficult to tell what was sturdy rock for climbing and what was a mass of unstable frost.
To the left was a small, sleepy looking cabin, a few ski lifts hanging a the base. This tended to be the preferred route for those seeking less thrills, but there was a bit of a problem. None of the ski lifts actually seemed to be moving. In fact, there wasn't even any smoke wafting from the cabin's chimney. Permafrost caked onto the cabin's windows and doors, scarring its wooden surface. Was there even anyone there?
Finally, straight forward would be a small, winding mountain trail. While somewhat precarious, at least it provided a relatively slat surface as it winded up the sign of the mountain. Desiccated trees littered the side of the path, dipping forward from the weight of the snow covering them. Was it normal for even evergreens to shed their leaves like that? Apparently, in conditions as severe as these, it was.
Many options lied ahead of Ophelia, Zachary, and Arthur, but time was far more limited of a concern. Those not covered in nice, frostproof fur would find themselves being chilled to the bone the longer they lingered outside. If they didn't get moving soon, who knew how much of a toll it could take on their bodies? Combat Log Inclement Conditions - It's so cold, it hurts. Ophelia is immune due to her frost resistance, but the rest might be in for a bitter time . . .

It was a little difficult at first for Ophelia to convince herself to part from her family - and to join in the mission - once that shimmering keyhole appeared on the surface of the snow. It felt like she hadn't been with her family for all that long, and already it was time to leave - which... Whilst she wasn't quite as homesick anymore, it still was a little hard to let go of them in the loving embraces and bye-for-nows, and to move to go thru the keyhole. Though... She also knew that she had a responsibility, in having signed up for this mission. And she wasn't alone, either - as she made her way thru the golden keyhole-portal, Cassie would be close behind; a happy Gomamon-X who was ready to join Ophelia's side.
The first thing that hit them as the duo made it out onto another part of the Terabyte Mountains though, was the sheer cold. It was unnatural, how cold it was - almost as though they had just entered into a blizzard, even. Ophelia's fur held up to the cold quite well - and so did Cassie's fur and blubber, but the latter was still shivering the slightest bit - huddling up to Ophelia. "It's s-so cold out here...!" Cassie would remark, glancing around. "H-how'd it get so cold so suddenly...?" "Hell if I know..." Ophelia would murmur, glancing around, a hand raised to shield her eyes from the biting snow that would kick up with the blustery winds. She'd let Cassie snuggle close - body warmth was one of the most important commodities in such cold conditions - and would patiently wait for her teammates to make their way here in the meantime.
When Rasielmon and Bagramon's voices piped up from her D-Nexus, Ophelia would pull it out - and would respond "I'm doing alright, this weather's definitely unusual though- it's like a blizzard blew in, without the blizzard... That, or it's the tail end of one..." She'd glance out towards the cabin, the cliffs, then the straightforward path - humming faintly to herself. "I'm k-kinda cold, but I'll survive!" Cassie chimed in - asking "Is there anything sp-specific that we should be keeping an eye out for or looking for, while we're out here?" As Cassie questioned the angels, Ophelia would be bringing up a map on her D-Nexus; putting its functionalities - namely its advanced mapping and scanning functions - to good use to work on plotting out a plan of attack. She and Cassie were the ones who knew this place best out of the team, more likely than not. She felt as though she had to be the one to help guide everyone, as a result - in one way or another.

As soon as Arthur stepped out into the frozen wasteland, he was almost immediately ready to die. The cold was beyond anything he had ever felt in his entire life and he was almost immediately shivering. His jacket, a fur lined and much thicker variant of his original, hoodie, and jeans outfit did little to ward off the cold and the only reason his feet didn't become soaked within moments were because of the minor waterproofing his boots had. Arti rubbed his gloved hands together, breathing into them to try and reestablish a bit of warmth. This was an almost unnatural cold, at least compared to the human world, though he supposed this was likely natural for the Digital world. He still had much to learn about this place and wherever his Spirit journey or whatever dragged him, he hoped it wouldn't bring him back here.
Arthur pulled his D-Tector out of his pocket as Rasielmon and Bagramon began squawking through it, informing them of the cold they were already well aware of. "Thank you, Captain and Lieutenant Obvious," he grumbled under his breath as he stared at his Digivice. He considered, for a moment, transforming into Guardromon, as a way to further ward off the cold and, possibly, even generate heat. After a short pause, he tucked the D-Tector back into his jacket pocket. There might be a chance that it could warm him, but there was also the chance that nothing could happen and he would just sink deep into the snow due to the high weight of his robot-like form.
"Any ideas of what we should do next?" Arthur asked, shielding his eyes as he gazed around the landscape. He settled on the cabin, the desire to suggest searching it first about to make itself known, but he held his tongue. He wanted to see what his potentially more experienced allies had to say about the situation before he piped up his suggestion.

The mission was a surprise to Zachary. He didn't know how strong or how dangerous it would be. He had only seen bits of the digital world briefly and never stayed more than a few hours. However, Panthermon was the one insisting to take risks. At the summons of the angels in the rise of the approaching darkness, neither of them could say no. Panthermon, a guardian of darkness... would respect any call to stop darkness from threatening innocence. Whether it was programming or what Zachary willed him when he created him-- he didn't hesitate from the call.
Zachary held his Digivice tightly as they stepped through the keyhole-portal and reached their mountain destination.
Snow and crisp icy wind pelted against his skin instantly that made him raise up his arms in defense. For a moment he was snow-blinded by the gust and sunshine. He hesitated for a moment as he soon saw Panthermon beside him, also a bit in shock to discover they landed on a snowy mountain. Luckily for Zachary, he wore his long blue coat that covered the majority of his body. It gave him a bit of warmth, but not enough to endure the windchill as well. Fighting to see, he easily raised down the goggles he had over his forehead. He soon was able to see with the wind in his face, his visibility saved from the white hell.
Beside him, Panthermon cringed but held his ground against the wind. The snow caked along his black fur, making him stand out that even the others could see him. "Zachary? You okay?" the cat growled.
"More or less, I'm good. Just a bit cold, but nothing new than this winter..." he replied, trying to keep a strong front. He couldn't see the others yet, but he knew they were there.
The sound over the Digivice made Zachary reach his as he listened to the instructions. he also heard the voice of one of his teammates near him. He turned to see them nearby, grateful they were okay-- though was a little jealous over the one who was loving the cold. "Hey, lets look for a shelter we can use to regroup, then proceed from there. " Zachary said as he pocketed his Digivice. "Panthermon, do you mind warming things up?"
Panthermon glanced at Zachary for a bit but caught on quick. The jaguar let out a growl-- then his black fur erupted with flames. BLack, orange and violet fire crackled off his body as if he was a black beast from hell. While not meant for it-- the Hellcat-Cloak gave off enough fire and warmth to keep those nearby warm. It would also signal the others nearby.
It was then that Zachary spotted it, A cabin nearby. "Guys, lets get to that abandoned cabin. It at least will give us some protection from the wind." he called out and he and Panthermon made their way there.
(Zachary and Panthermon emerge from the portal. While having a coat and goggles, and Panthermon with his fur coat, they still are a bit cold. Deciding to seek shelter, they make their way towards the cabin. In addition, Panthermon has used his "Hellcat-Cloak" which creates an aura of fire that will heat up those nearby, and provide protection from combat freezing, and general cold. )

Rasielmon hummed thoughtfully at Cassie's question. "You know, that's a good question," she said. "If Belphemon was truly sealed away, I'd look for any stone that doesn't look like it belongs. Did you know that looking at the rocks around an area can measure the age of the Digital World? Clearly, any stone used to repair a structure as ancient as Terabyte Mountain would sick out like a sore thumb."
"I'd be on the lookout for magic, myself," Bagramon added. "Doubt it'd just be rocks keeping a whole Demon Lord back. But you find some kind of etched-in seal or summoning circle? I guarantee, you've hit your spot.
Or you could find a weak spot in the wall, and blow the whole thing to smithereens." The visual feed of Bagramon and Rasielmon was swallowed up in static. It sounded like Bagramon was still talking, but his voice was the slightest bit different. It was deeper, with an almost slimy quality to it. "Subtlety is only going to lead more lambs to the slaughter, one by one. But making a big splash will send a big message. And what better to face a Demon Lord than an entire army?" Then, just as quickly as the static started, it stopped.
As the navigators gave their advice, Zachary made his way to the abandoned cabin. However, it may not have been quite as abandoned as it seemed. The lights were still on, in the form of a single lantern sitting on the cabin's central table. Next to this lantern was a Mojyamon, slumped face first onto the table. His snores were as loud as the storm itself, even with the table doing its damn best job to muffle them. What looked like a conductor's hat sat on top of his head, the brim of it covering what little of his eyes his hair already didn't. Finally, a small set of controls sat in the back of the room, a red button flashing urgently.
The winds caused the door to buckle into the frame, as if it was lightly barred from the inside. Nevertheless, the slightest bit of pressure would cause it to open if tested, allowing Zachary, Ophelia, and Arthur to pass inside if they wished.
Beyond this, the trio would notice that the weather seemed the slightest bit less biting. Everyone's close proximity to one another seemed to make the cold ebb away, or at least caused it to divide itself evenly between the group. In addition, the flaming footsteps of Panthermon were doing a number on the snow. Puddles formed in his wake, heated water pooling in the big cat's pawprints. A gentle steam rose from them when first stepped in, but as soon as Panthermon wandered away from the paw prints they began to freeze over again.
Combat Log Inclement Conditions - Heat, proximity, shelter . . . all traditional means of staving off the cold, and they seem to be working against this more supernatural chill as well. No damage is sustained this post, for all of the above reasons.

Ophelia's ears would twitch back at the change in tone - easily picked up by her sensitive ears, and decent attention to detail. She'd frown slightly at her D-Nexus, and the static that would overtake the screen - before simply focusing on the map. Keeping an eye out for seals and anything out of the ordinary sounded like a good idea - though she didn't really like the sound of the last half of what 'Bagramon' said there; about blowing everything up. It wasn't like she or Cassie could exactly blow stuff up, anyways! Cassie, similarly, seemed uncertain at the strange suggestion - "Is the thingy supposed to do that, Ophi...?" She'd ask softly, to which Ophelia responded "Don't think so... Something certainly's fucky here..."
... Still though, in would come her companions; two humans, and a feline digimon - much like herself. The main differences though, were that this digimon lacked a mane, had dark black fur, and was quadrupedal - as opposed to her bipedal stance. The digimon, additionally, smelt of fire and smoke; a smell that reminded her of Bero, to a small degree. Although... She quickly realized something; there was only one digimon. Where was the other human's partner - the one who smelt of oil and metal? Weren't humans fragile? Or was this one like Ryouta, who could fight on his own? He certainly had an attitude, if the tone that he muttered in was any indication - even if she couldn't make out the words, her ears certainly picked up the tone over the wind.
Nonetheless... Ophelia would wave to them, calling "Yeah, I'm with Goggles over there- lets get out of the wind, and we can start talking about our first steps someplace a little warmer!" Humans lacked fur - that much was obvious - and she doubted that the other digimon was anywhere near adapted to the cold. She'd be right at Zachary's side as they made for the cabin - Cassie speaking up "It's nice to meet you all! This is my first time ever meeting or seeing humans!" in the process, eyes wide with awe and curiosity towards Zachary and Arthur, ears wiggling. "Hypothermia's one of the biggest killers in the mountains, and the wind is a big factor - so minimalize skin exposure, stay dry, and stay warm - keep those layers close, and keep close together, too!" Ophelia called to the other three - nodding to herself in approval as Panthermon's coat lit aflame. Good. They'd want to be careful about the effects of melting and refreezing snow - ice can be a pain in the ass, after all - but she doubted they'd be retracing their steps that much.
Once they reached the cabin, Ophelia would note the Mojyamon's scent - a little stale and faint from just outside the door, but still present. His snores, too, were quite audible; though this was a little more concerning to her. It wasn't safe to be sleeping in such cold, unless you were absolutely sure that it would be warm enough to carry you thru the night; and while she was sure that the Mojyamon had fur for this, and the cabin probably held up against the brunt of it, it was also unnaturally cold.
Normally, she wouldn't be keen on intruding other digimons' spaces, but she supposed this would be plenty excuse for an exception - she would push her way into the cabin, and would approach the Mojyamon. A hand was on the hilt of her sword - but it otherwise remained sheathed, and she remained calm; simply a precaution for approaching an unfamiliar digimon. It was clear he was breathing alright, so he at least wasn't dying or anything - but just to make sure, she'd reach up to shake the Mojyamon's shoulder. "Hey! You alright? Not freezing to death or anything, yeah?" She'd call to him. Cassie would be right by her side - and if the Mojyamon showed any signs of stirring and alertness, would chirp up "Is it okay if we hide out from the cold in here for a little bit, sir?" with wide, gentle puppydog-type eyes.

Arthur looked back down at the D-Tector as more instructions were issued, frowning as "Bagramon" suggested they blow a hole in the side of the mountain to reach their target. If the differing voice wasn't a dead giveaway, the sudden encouragement towards hyper aggressive tactics out of nowhere sealed the deal. "Right, so when we get to the mountain, I think taking our time is a good idea and we should not blow a hole in the mountain," he said, looking to his allies. As Cassie declared that she was as new to humans as he was to Digimon, Arti smiled and waved. Best to keep up appearances that he wasn't completely green to all of this stuff. "Pleasure's all mine. Hopefully, I don't end up being too much a burden without a Digimon of my own. Still trying to get used to the whole...'Spirit' thing." He gave a bit of a chuckle as he scratched the back of his head.
Arti was quick to jump into the radius of warmth Zachary's Panthermon offered, bundling his coat up around him as he followed the others towards the cabin. He could see the passed out Digimon through the window before looking down to Ophelia as she made her comment about hypothermia. Arthur was quick to make a check with is fingers, tapping each one against his thumbs to make sure he still had full range of motion before pulling his collar up around his cheeks a little higher.
"If we can get him up, he might know an easy way up the mountain. The less time in the snow, the better," he remarked, taking a moment to slowly scan the entire cabin. As much as he would like to think that this Digimon would jump at the chance to help them, he never could be too careful. Better to see what he might have to prepare for rather than a sudden sneak attack catch them off guard.

The adorable looking spadamon was indeed something he would of wanted to talk to more, but their mission did hold more importance than wanting to pet the lion's head. Something he knew that Panthermon rarely allowed as he rather been known as a fearsome warrior than a snuggly kitty-cat. "It's nice to meet you all too, despite the circumstances. I'm Zachary, and this is my partner Panthermon." Zachary introduced himself as they made their way towards the cabin.
Panthermon's flames had given them enough warmth to endure the cold walk and soon they entered the cabin. Zachary was the last one to enter and he pushed the door back in place to close it behind him. A sigh escaped him as he rested against the door, and removed his goggles from his eyes. "Well this throws a wrench into the mix if we can't climb up the mountain. Unless we could use Panthermon as we climb."
Panthermon, turnes his flames into a simmer, so he wouldn't catch fire to anyone he wasn't supposed to. "I'm a warrior digimon. Not a furnace. My cloak won't work non-stop up the mountain pass. " he informed. Finding the mild-looking fireplace, Panthermon approached it and gave a small gust of fire from his mouth. His spiral flame ignited the fireplace, providing more warmth to the cottage.
The sleeping, white creature did catch Zachary's attention, but more so was the switchboard that existed on the other side of the room. He also saw out the window the inactive snow-lift that made up the mountain from earlier. "Hey... I'm willing to bet the controls in here operate the snow lift outside. That Yeti probably runs it," Zachary said, unsure what the proper name for Mojiyamon was. He glanced to the sleeping digimon, hoping he would be in a good mood if they roused him. "Hopefully, he would be willing to help."
Zachary gently approached the sleeping Digimon, who seemed harmless enough if he was sleeping in a cabin. "Excuse me. Mr. Yeti? Please wake up. " Zachary urged, as Panthermon moved towards the table to look at him. "Could you help us ? We need to get up the mountain and maybe you could turn on the lift?"
Whether or not the sleeping snowy Digimon would be willing to help, at least they tried to be cordial. Panthermon even was adding heat to the cabin. If anything, perhaps the Mojiyamon would be grateful to have some warmth in the room for a change.
All the while, Zachary also kept an eye for the windows, to see if anything dangerous would lurk outside.
(Zachary and Panthermon are now in the cabin as Panthermon adds to the warmth of the cabin (ideally without burning anything as he just warms up the fireplace) . Seeing the controls in the back, Zachary proposes they could use the lift to get up, and that the controls there control the device. Along with the others, he goes and ask politely to have Mojiyamon wake up and help them if he could.)

It was fortunate that Ophelia, Arthur, and Zach weren't going to wait for Mojyamon's approval to enter. Partly, this was because the Mojyamon was completely unresponsive. Neither Ophelia's shaking, Panthermon's warmth, nor the chatter inside of the cabin made him move a muscle. Now that they were closer, they might even notice that his snoring was raspy and the corners of his mouth were bone dry. It was as if even breathing in his sleep was giving the Mojyamon trouble.
The second reason came once everyone had piled into the cabin. The snow outside intensified second by second. Arthur would be the first to notice, the windows he was looking through becoming increasingly difficult to see through. Snow began spilling in through the windows, scattering around the eastern wall of the cabin in small, dense piles. Judging by the white scarring on the cabin floor, as well as the smell of dampened wood, this was far from the first snowstorm to sneak its way inside. The temperature inside of the cabin continued to drop, but at the very least Panthermon's flaming coat helped keep things evened out.
Worse still was the roar of the wind. What was once a quiet whistle deepened into a roar within seconds. Nature itself seemed to twist into a furious beast, hellbent on stemming the trio's advance.
Under all the noise, the gentle "Hey," was almost imperceptible. The source of the sound was, surprisingly, the prone Mojyamon. His voice was slow and gentle, like a grandfather trying to tell a bedtime story despite being under the effects of severe painkillers. "What are you doing here?" Despite his face currently being smooshed into the table, his voice wasn't the slightest bit muffled. In fact, his snores weren't interrupting his words, and his mouth wasn't even moving. There was no evidence that Mojyamon was speaking, but he was undeniably the source of the sound.
With this new mystery arising, the trio could at least check their previous mystery off. Now that they were directly inside of the cabin, it was fairly obvious that the machinery in the back operated the ski lifts. The word "LIFT CONTROLS" was stamped right on the front, after all! They seemed fairly simple. A green button labelled START, a yellow button labelled STOP, and a black button with a speaker drawn on it all seemed to have fairly obvious functions. Less obvious was the blinking red light, which was actually a small cluster of lights on a blinking board. They seemed to be arranged in a rather specific pattern, but what could they possibly mean?
Perhaps the book clutched at Mojyamon's side, labelled ERROR CODES on its side, would shed some light on the situation.
Combat Log Inclement Conditions - Current weather conditions are tolerable. However, stepping outside right now would likely be a mistake. A Cold Wind Blows - The wind intensifies! Yes, stepping outside would definitely be a mistake.

"It's nice to meet you, Zachary, Panthermon!" Cassie chirped cheerily in response, her ears flopping in the wind and with her movements - pushing herself forward across the snow, not even sinking into it, as though her body were a giant snowshoe. Whilst the snow might be hard for the others to trudge thru, Cassie had no problem, given such. "My name's Cassandra - but everyone calls me Cassie - and this is my sister, Ophelia!" She'd proudly gesture to Ophelia with a flipper as she did - adding "We both grew up here in the mountains, though our den is way, way, further into the mountains. I've never actually been this far from home before, but Ophelia has!" As they entered the cabin though, and the Mojyamon was found to be unresponsive, Ophelia was further concerned - her expression turning grim. That wasn't good - "If that ain't hypothermia, I don't fucking know what is." - though, he was at least breathing; that was at least a relief. She'd bring up her D-Nexus and try to fire off a text - alerting her friends at Ys about a digimon with potentially severe hypothermia, as well as the intense weather conditions. All the whilst, she would call "Someone move him near the fireplace - and Panthermon, don't cuddle up to him - warming him back up too fast could be bad - but stick close enough that he ain't freezing his ass off..!" She was already taking on a leader or instructor-type role, and it was unlikely her headstrong personality nor her need to protect others would let her give up that role easily.
As the wind began to pick up further and further though, Ophelia would have to raise an arm to shield her face from the snow blowing in - and she was quick to check the windows and close them, and pack any snow that blew in into any gaps or drafts that she couldn't close up. "Help me close the windows, and pack snow into any gaps or drafts!" She'd call to the others; recalling a time, when hunting alongside her father, that they had to make a makeshift igloo to wait out a whiteout blizzard somewhat like this. "With how cold as fuck it is out there, the snow will refreeze on the outside and insula-" ... Ophelia would cut herself off though, as she thought she heard a soft voice. Where did that....?
She'd glance to the questioning tone of the Mojyamon - which... Seemed unusual, given the lack of movement or stirring from him. Ophelia's ears would twitch a bit, and leaving the wind-proofing to the others, she would go to approach the Mojyamon; sniffing the air for any unfamiliar scents. Cassie would tilt her head as well, continuing to help with the windows and packing snow as she mentioned "We're just hiding out from the cold," to the Mojyamon(?). Meanwhile, Ophelia began to sniff the Mojyamon for any unusual or unfamiliar scents with her sensitive nose. Assuming she did pick up such a scent, she'd look to see if there was a smaller digimon hidden in the thick fur of the digimon, or maybe... Under his hat...? Ophelia would peek under the hat as well, if she smelled anything unusual.

Arthur grimaced as he watched the windows, the snowfall steadily increasing and his view of the outside becoming smaller and smaller. Whether they wanted one or not, a timer was ticking down slowly. Either they would complete their mission before the clock ran out, or he and Zachary were going to end up as human popsicles. Arti began to chew on his thumb, his nervous tick breaking through again as he thought. He made no moves to assist in insulating the house or treating the Mojyamon, rather, his eyes settled on the control panel for the ski lift. His gaze flicked to each of the lights as they blinked, noting they were in a particular pattern that could possibly indicated a malfunction of some kind in the machinery.
While his mind was still focused on the control panel, the small voice wormed its way past the tuned out static that were Arthur's companions as he thought. He paused for a moment before slowly looking back at the passed out Digimon at the table. The human's eyes were wary as he studied the comatose creature, settling on the Error Codes book he was clutching. "Don't get too close to him," he said, pulling his D-Tector out with his free hand as he slowly drew closer to Mojyamon. He stopped biting on his thumb, stepping slowly towards the sleeping Digimon as his hand slowly stretched out to take the book.
"There are some pretty good ventriloquists in the human world, but I don't even think they can both snore and speak at the same time," he said quietly, his eyes never breaking from the Mojyamon's head as his fingers began to brush against the book's cover. "Something is telling me our friend here is having a similar hiccup as Bagramon earlier. Do whatever you can to get him awake and moving with us and keep an eye out for anything that wants to make our insides outsides." As he finished, he tightened his fingers around the book and tried to yank it away, then move back to the control board to begin fixing the ski lift.

Realizing that hypothermia wouldn't be a stretch-- even for a Digimon. Zachary had it when he was younger and it wasn't fun. Who knew how long this Digimon was sick with it and was left untreated. Best they could do was warm him up. Still, observing what was said, Panthermon placed himself a safe distance between them all, his hellcat cloak still giving some warmth for as long as they could.
Hearing Ophelia's advice, Zachary looked around for anything and everything he could find to seal up any 'holes' within the cabin. He even took off his jacket to use to block the air from the windows-- at least for the moment while Panthermon could still give them warmth.
Just like Arthur, he was aware that time was not something they could easily waste. He wasn't about to abandon the Mojiyamon, but more impatient with the inclining weather. The snow kept coming down worse and worse. Even if they could get the lift to work, the snow storm would toss them about or even break it while they were half way up.
He observed the setup and saw the clear buttons indicated-- but didn't risk to press any. Not till they could get their hands on his Error Code Book. Arthur had it covered as he tried to find the last bit of windy areas. After a bit of time using loose rags, free furniture and what bits of snow were around-- he was pretty confident he secured the majority of the cavern.
"I know we made the right call... but now we can't do anything. We're stuck till the storm lets up," Zachary sighed, sitting down cross-legged close to Panthermon's flames. The panther just looked to his partner, like a cat would with mild-interest. "Even if we get the lift working, we gotta wait for the right time to use it or risk it breaking in the middle of this winter-wonder hell."
"Did you know that Dante's Inferno-- the deepest level of 'inferno' was actually frozen, not fire." Panthermon commented.
Zachary glanced to his partner-- once again perplexed by the fact not only was this Digimon a few weeks old or roughly about, but always made very surprising facts that it should of knew nothing about. "When did you become Dr. Google?" Zachary half-joked dryly.
For now, his attention was on Mojyhamon, seeing that he would recover if they gave him proper warmth and hopefully he would be well.
(Panthermon continues to heat up the inside as gently as he can with Ophilia's instructions while Zachary works to insolate the cabin as best as he can-- using even his own jacket to secure the spaces air could get in. For now waiting on results to see if Mojiyamon would be okay.)

"Mmm. Hiding out. That seems like a nice idea."
The Mojyamon's drawn-out responses continued, responding to the only Digimon that directly acknowledged him. "Always been a fan of that myself. No need to trouble myself with what I can't change, you know? Lotta things out there like that, when you know where to look," he continued. All the while, he continued staring down into the table. Now that Ophelia, Arthur, and Zachary knew where to look, the tell-tale signs of hypothermia were quite present. The Mojyamon's lightly tanned skin had a pale blue tinge to it, and ice crystals were shimmering in his white fur. Just how long had he been in the cold like this for?
Fortunately, the group was on point with executing their strategy. Ophelia was directing traffic like she was born for the role, Zachary and Cassandra were plugging up windows left and right, and Arthur was preparing himself to snatch Mojyamon's code book as soon as it was safe. If all went according to plan, they'd have both Mojyamon's health and their own escape secured in mere moments.
The first thing that Zachary would notice was the windstorm. What had been intense enough to blot out his vision mere seconds ago was already thinning back out. Now his improvised window coverings (which included at least half of Mojyamon's couch, among other things) were only being covered in a light dusting of powdery snow. If Zachary looked closely, perhaps he would notice the winds drifting back towards the peak of the mountain, carrying thick masses of snow back with them. Or perhaps he'd simply be too grateful for the storm's apparent ceasing to notice. Who knows?
Everyone else would be clustered around Mojyamon, Ophelia to steal his hat and Arthur to steal his book. Ophelia struck first, lifting up the abominable snowman's hat to reveal . . . nothing! There was little more than thick woolly hair, which Ophelia's sharp nose could confirm smelled exactly like damp fur. There didn't seem to be any outward signs of other Digimon. Not magic sigils, cybernetic headpieces, or even parasitic worms. Worse still, Mojyamon didn't even honor Ophelia's sleuthing with a response. He just kept snoozing away.
Arthur, too, would be able to succeed in his role. It would take a good few seconds of tugging, but the lift control book popped out of Mojyamon's arms. If Arthur would peek through the book, he would notice that the code pattern was already bookmarked: Code 37, High Tension. Along with a picture of the code, there were a few explanations jotted down beneath. The two most likely causes of the code were circled: cold weather preventing the cables from reaching their proper elasticity, and too much weight bearing down on the cables. If the cause wasn't found and taken care of, a snap was all too likely.
"It isn't polite to take someone's things, you know," Mojyamon chided. Clearly he was aware enough to notice, yet immobile enough not to do anything about it. "Not that it matters. It isn't like it's going to change anything."

Ophelia and Cassandra would peer to the Mojyamon quietly, with faint concern - between the definite signs of hypothermia and frostbite, and the... well... Seeming lack of passion in the response. This poor Mojyamon wasn't having a good day, Ophelia could tell that much. "Cassie, do you think you can tend to him?" She would request her sister - to which Cassandra would nod. "Can do!" She'd chirp, as she began to... Blow bubbles?
Three large bubbles, about half her size, would form as Cassie blew each bubble - and within the bubbles, seemed to slosh a faintly glowing liquid. For a moment, Cassie would consider whether to split the bubbles amongst everyone, or to give them all to the Mojyamon - but she'd finally decide that the Mojyamon needed it more right now, and none of them were in any particular peril at the moment, with the cabin having been warmed up with their insulating and Panthermon's presence. With this decision though, Cassandra would work on headbutting each bubble - launching them into the Mojyamon!
On impact, the bubbles would burst - splashing water over the Mojyamon. They didn't leave him particularly soaked though - instead being absorbed into the Mojyamon's skin as the beneficial data that the water was filled with got to work mending any damage the cold might have done to his body. Any excess water would evaporate harmlessly, leaving the Mojyamon no more soaked than he already was - but hopefully it'd help ensure his survival. While the data in the water did its work, Ophelia would bring the Mojyamon closer to the fireplace, so that the warmth could get to work on helping dry his fur out. Wet fur or clothing was worse than none at all.
Once that was finished though, Cassie would smile brightly to Ophelia - "I've been getting better at it! With this, I'll be able to help everyone here, too, hopefully!" She'd chirp and puff her chest in a proud fashion, to which Ophelia laughed gently and ruffled the fur atop her head - "Hell yeah!"
Still, it left everything else. Ophelia would note that Arthur had taken the code book and begun working on figuring out the lift controls - that all was mumbo jumbo to her, so she was more than happy to leave that to the humans. But, she'd still call to him "Hey, I don't think any of us got your name. Wanna introduce yourself, whilst we talk about what our next step is? Figure it'd be better for us to talk shit out before we head out, even if the weather's cleared up. Better safe than sorry n' all,"
Whilst addressing Arthur, she would move to sit down with Zachary and Panthermon; leaning up against Zachary in the process. Despite Zachary being a stranger, it seemed Ophelia had no trouble getting up close to another person - especially in cold conditions such as these. Bodywarmth was an important commodity to share with those around you. "Personally, I dunno if the lift's gonna be any good in this weather - especially if the mechanic Mojyamon here's out of it with the cold and all." Ophelia began, snuggling up to Zachary and getting comfortable. "Trekking up the mountain by foot isn't gonna be much fun either, though - do any of you guys have any experience with the cold?"
Meanwhilst, Cassandra would peer up to the Mojyamon's mention of 'it isn't like it's gonna change anything', and ask "What do you mean, sir? And how are you feeling - did my healing help much?" Personally, she was unsure if that was the hypothermia talking - she knew that it tended to make people not quite think as straight, though she'd never actually seen it in action. Only had a basic idea of the signs. She would snuggle up close to the Mojyamon though - being more than happy to share bodywarmth with him to help him warm back up.

Arthur was quick to turn back to the control panel as he snatched the book away, flipping through the pages to find the matching code. He glanced back over his shoulder as Mojyamon chided him for taking the book without permission. The unconscious, yet somehow still speaking, Digimon was still giving him a bad vibe. Arti returned his attention to the book, noticing the bookmarked code that matched the one on the console. 'High Tension,' according to the book, which was seemingly a common issue if it was referenced often. "You'd think they'd have countermeasures put in place if it was that much of a problem," he said, his brow furrowing in annoyance. From what he could tell, the cold was too much for the cables to handle with snow likely piled on it in some places as well.
"My name's Arthur. Go ahead and keep talking," he said, still focused on the book as he tried to think of a plan. He took a look around the cabin again, his eyes settling Panthermon for a moment before looking to Ophelia as she began discussing a plan. "We can get it working again, if we can get the cable warm enough to start it moving. Once we get there, the motion should keep ice and snow from collecting on it again."
Arthur looked to Zachary, pointing to Panthermon before gesturing to the outside. "Think his flames could heat the cable up enough without melting through it? I'd help, but I don't think Guardromon can focus his laser to heat it up. We'd have to be careful, too. If the cables are anything like they are on Earth, then they're made of a bunch of individual wires laid together."
