"I-I'm afraid you can't, princess. Urga.""Dark Lord Dio..." A strange name for a captain, no doubt. While the crew spoke with the servants, the sails had been unfurled and the EbiBurgamons had run to their positions. In perfect synchronicity, the ship started moving right when the gates of the balcony retracted. King Cookmon started to come out through the gates, accompanied by a couple more of servants. From the main backdoor of The Racketeering, at least twenty Ebi Burgamons came out too. All of them were waving their goodbyes at the crew as they sailed to recover the prestige of this restaurant. When the king cleared his throat, all of the servants went silent. Suddenly, only the sound of the ship starting to move through the idle waters behind the restaurant could be heard. For some reason, the words the king was about to issue would remain with Dio’s Devils forever. “The desire to find what’s hidden. The absolute thrive for adventure and the bonds that we made through countless battles. While humans and digimon keep chasing the meaning of freedom, those things will never cease to exist!” As a thunder, his voice echoed through the air. It was almost as if the king knew they were destined to something bigger and they were going far more places than a party at Re-Re Island after this. “Go chase those dreams and seize this day to become the greatest of all times! Take conviction behind you flag!”
Who was King Cookmon? Why couldn’t they help but feel this cook had rubbed shoulders with the strongest, mightiest digimon in the sea? Maybe during this trip, they would find out a lot more about his past.
It would take the Firing Chiffon around three minutes to finally enter open sea. Right now, they were sailing around the back of Whitewater, and they needed to start moving towards Re-Re Island. But they were still missing a Sailing Master! Two Ebi Burgamon, one of which had accompanied Talia and Tohru through their dressing up process seemed to be waiting at the wheel for the one (or the ones) who would be Sailing Master of this crew. “The captain and the ones who are not Sailing Masters must come with me.” A male Ebiburgamon stood in front of the crew to the start walking towards a small trapdoor that seemed to lead below deck. “I’ll show you around the ship, urga.”But the crew had to pick a Sailing Master right now! Dio's Devils have entered Cruising Mode.OOC:Cruising Mode During the Astrivia Plot, each thread has two modes: Regular Mode and Cruising Mode. When you start moving in a ship from one island to another, you enter Cruising Mode. Although they might have some tasks to fulfill, during Cruising Mode, your characters are free and encouraged to do whatever they want across the ship. It's their ship, after all!
Want to go take a nap? Go ahead! Want to wander around the ship? Be my guest! What about making some food for the rest of the crew? Your characters are completely free! As the GM, I promise you they will find something interesting or at least entertaining in every task they decide to perform. However, if you have a specific task to complete (like exploring the ship or cleaning the deck) then performing that task could make things easier for the crew in the future. After all, there's real progress to be made there!
Sometimes you can find very interesting stuff around the ship, so it's always a good idea to wander around for a bit when you're not too busy or after finishing your established task!
Cruising Mode will end once the crew has arrived at their destination. OOCly, it will last according to the number of hours you have to travel to get there.
If every crew member agrees, once you have set a destination, you can skip the Cruising Mode and arrive at your next destination right away (which is like doing a time-skip) at any round during the Cruising Mode. If an event will occur that will interrupt your trip, then time will 'skip' until that event. You just need to notify the GM and I will make sure you all agree to skip Cruising Mode. It's definitely not as fun, but it will get you there faster, OOCly.

Dio was...frankly surprised at Simba's "potty mouth", but he could help but let out a chuckle once they were back with the humans, patting the hackmon's head with a grin as he did. "Pompous asshole? Ah Simba, your grasp on such great parts of the language is a thing of beauty indeed." Was it odd for the impmon to feel just a bit of pride in the young digimon's previous reaction? He had always thought of him as a young, childish sort but having heard such words come out of him he couldn't help but almost respect him.
Almost. And speaking of respect, he could only give Tohru...a genuine thumbs up as he saw her dress. "Perhaps a bit out there, but you certainly got the royal look down, rabbit."
"Heh, slow down tigress, save some for the party." Carlos meanwhile chuckled at the kiss from Talia, smiling warmly at the pale girl. It was sometimes a bit odd for him to have Talia be the more forward one with her shows of affection, but that was just another reason he was so deeply in love with her. Dio simply rolled his eyes and groaned at the two. Did they really have to be so sickeningly sweet and lovey dovey all the time?
"Please let there be a separate room for the captain..."
The king Cookmon's speech before they departed was suitably moving and inspiring, if surprisingly brief, but it did fill the duo's hearts with determination to press on. Now there was truly no turning back. That said? Now they would finally set sail into the great unknown of the sea, aiming for the fabled Island and whatever secrets it might hold...yet they could not stop wondering just who their mysterious benefactor was and why she had chose them for this? Perhaps the answers would come to them eventually.
As the burgamon onboard the ship once again reminded the group they needed someone to take the position of Sailing Master, Dio was quick to chime in, both wanting things to move along already as well as knowing the perfect candidate.
"Well then, I propose Talia to be our sailing master!" The imp announced, firmly and dramatically pointing at the human with a determined look. One might think it was the position of captain getting to his head...but really it was just adding fuel to the fiery ego and personality Dio was already known for. "Since she's easily the most reliable and trustworthy individual in our crew, she'd no doubt do nothing less than a fantastic job at it." He said, justifying his decision...before suddenly falling silent, a noticeable blush in his face as he suddenly realized just how much he was gushing over her. Why was that?
"If uhm, she doesn't mind, that is..." He then added, more quietly this time, waiting patiently for the girl's take on this (and silently hoping Carlos wouldn't tease him about his sudden outburst too much.)

“Uhm uhhhh I…” Even the dragon was still reeling from his own sudden outburst but the compliment from the dark lord couldn’t help but make him feel rather proud? “W-well cursing is bad but I want to be more brave and bold, you know, like Tohru and like you too, I kinda...look up to your fortitude, the way you’re never scared of anything!” He didn’t want to be an overlord though, just brave enough to keep Talia and his sister safe! Speaking of the dragon hare, Dio’s look couldn’t help but remind her of a cartoon villain, particularly Garou from One Punch Man for some reason. “I guess that must be a big compliment coming from a Lord himself! The cape suits you though, it's just silly enough to not be silly!”
Dio nominating Talia to be the sailing master took the girl aback as she’d generally kind of expected the dark lord to nominate himself for any and all leadership positions on the boat and frankly the girl wasn’t looking forward to the responsibility but she also felt a bit pressured to say yes with everyone around and also not embarrass the poor imp. “I….uhhh...I’d be honored, Captain, and I’m looking forward to working alongside you! Should we assign positions to Carlos and the twins too? Maybe Tohru can help me with navigating...and Carlos and Simba can be lookout scouts or deckboys something!”
That and the image of her boyfriend being forced to mop a floor by the little dark lord was hilarious for some reason. But before they could make a decision the three of them were being told to follow the other ebiburgamon, in other words, separating the group yet again, making Talia sigh dramatically and regret accepting the position and possibly this whole trip overall since its purpose was for the couple to re-bond, and it seemed the twins were feeling the same, protesting the instructions a bit. “Go with them, guys, I’ll catch up with you in a bit, I promise!”

Although it was not clear if Tohru was either going with Talia to learn some navigation techniques or going with the rest to take a tour around the ship, it seemed like the EbiBurgamons preferred to show the princess her vessel, so they decided she stay with the larger part of the crew, leaving the tamer on her own.
The two little burgers bowed respectfully at the silver-haired girl, before starting to explain the basics of being a navigator.
“Every ship needs a navigator, urga. Your main role will be to keep the ship away from all plausible hazards, by trying to predict what perils it might encounter traveling at a certain time or taking a certain route.”
“Although some ships use older systems, while others use super technologic stuff, the Firing Chiffon’s equipment is a mixture of classic and advanced methods." One of the servants pointed at a small pedestal, placed right next to the wheel. She adjusted its height so it would be exactly at Talia’s hand reach. The small boulder had a screen right on top. "There, you will be able to see the meteorological conditions of every route you plan on taking, urga".
“That will allow you to advert possible storms and change the route or delay trips accordingly, urga.” The other little one explained. “You’ll also be in charge of drawing nautical charts.”
If Talia touched a button marked as 'Charts drawing' on the screen, a squared surface would deploy, right to a side of the pedestal. The tray contained a clean sheet and all types of pencils and crayons to the side. “Nautical charts are basically the maps you will use to navigate. Although in the computer’s system you’ll find lots of maps, it is recommended you draw your own, so you mark places of interest for your crew, highlight important locations and even mark where an interesting item is located if you want to go back for it later, urga.”
“During this travel, you should draw your own chart. The only important thing is that you can understand it, it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t look too professional or anything, urga.”
“You can still use the maps in the system to guide yourself whenever you’re taking a route for the first time.” One explained as an electronic board deployed over the screen. It had digimoji, eastern and western characters. “If you type a destination on the screen, the system will show you the best routes you can take and how’s the weather in each of those routes, so you can take the safest possible path.”
“Why don’t you try it?” One of them suggested with a smile. “Type our destination in the screen so it shows you the possible routes there, urga.”
Talia did remember where they were going, right?
Meanwhile, the task that concerned the rest of the crew seemed a lot less complicated -Not that Talia’s was all that hard, to begin with-, The Ebi Burgamon in front of them walked them through the three floors under the deck.
At F1 (B1, if you wanted to see them as basements since they increased in number as they went down in height) they would find a kitchen, bathrooms and entertainment rooms with games of all kinds and couches to relax. Although these last rooms were pretty interesting, due to their capability to open a skylight and go to a relaxing zone on-deck, the kitchen definitely deserved all the applauses. Not only was it massive, but the detail on every part of its construction, the number of ingredients it held, and the quality of each utensil were also truly outstanding.
F2 had the barracks. Each room had a private bathroom and beds and furniture that adjusted according to the user’s size. They were all clean and perfectly ready to receive the crew. Each door was labeled with the name of its occupant, leaving three doors labeled as ‘guests’.
“All of us will sleep in the guest room until we go back home.” The servant said, obviously referring to all of the male Ebi Burgamon. “We left a room for Prince Kero, while the other guest room is occupied by female Ebi Burgamon, urga.” That made sense. “He hasn’t come out since he got into the ship, urga.” He said, pouting while looking at Kero’s door.
“This should be all for now. Thank you, urga.” The little burger digimon issued a respectful bow. “Now, if you’ve got any question, I’ll be pleased to answer those. If not, you can go do whatever you want around the ship.” He then made a pause, to add something else. “Except for the captain, I need to show him the third floor, just for security reasons. If any of you wants to accompany us, you’re free to come, urga!”
What should the rest of the crew do? So many possible options, all leading to interesting events!

While the ship's new captain and his unofficial first mate tamer were expecting something more than a plain ship just from how it looked from the outside, nothing they imagined compared to the actual interior of the vessel. A floor with fancy rooms (all of them name tagged to boot), another floor with a massive and equally impressive kitchen, all kept afloat via old and new machinery. The Racketeering was almost like a small scale luxury cruise.
And if things went well, they could be the new owners.
But such daydreaming could wait, they still needed to...well, earn that ship. As much as he wanted to ask many a question regarding the ship itself, something else was on his mind. He couldn't help but stop and look at the door to Kero's room and sigh. So he hadn't left his room yet? Carlos turned to look at the others.
"Think we should check on him?" He asked, a hint of concern in his tone. Kero was arguably their biggest hurdle to overcome regarding the party later, and they still hadn't really gotten to know what his problem was. Perhaps now it was the best moment to ask...or maybe they should let him have some space.
Dio seemed to share the sentiment, but at least for the moment it seemed as their guide needed him elsewhere.
"Third floor? What's in there, the engine? Cargo?" He questioned the Ebi Burgamon, playing with the little edges of the neck of his cape as if deep in thought. "...weapons?"

At first the childish Simba was going to refuse to check on the dragon after their little spat earlier feeling he didn’t deserve such care. “Hm well I guess Talia and Tohru would want me to be the bigger person so I’ll agree and I’ll just bite him if he’s mean again!” Therefore the small dragon waved in agreement. “We should yes! Sides I don’t like all this girl stuff that much.” Not that he was accommodated to human gender constructs but he just sorta...felt out of place with it? It definitely wasn’t his thing. “Maybe I can rub in his face Tohru wouldn’t like him, hehe!” Oops, clearly someone was being influenced by Dio! “Simbaa, you be nice now!” Meep, the warning made him sink his head back realizing Talia heard him like a dog caught with a pork bone. “I’ll try, no promises tho!” The sass was amusing with the girl scooping him up like a small cat careful to make sure his claws didn’t get caught in the material of her dress. “Remember what I told you once before? About how people are sometimes angry because they’re sad inside? So you have to be happy for them and spread your feelings, can you do that you think? You make me smile all the time so how hard can it be?”The dragon was tempted to argue that it was different between the two of them but he chose instead to omit a comment because if it made Talia happy what was there to worry about? “Sounds good to me!” Keeping with the small cat behavior he jumped onto the floor out of the girls landing on the floor on all fours. “When did you get so agile little brother?” Asked Tohru crossing her arms still grumpy that she couldn’t set this horrible dress on fire. “I’m just getting stronger and stronger! See - ah, eep!” The dramatic posing failed him when he slipped and slid like Bambi on the ice. “Maybe stronger, but still just as cute!” If someone had told Talia earlier about the navigator technology on the ship, then it was definitely possible she’d have been a lot more excited about the position. “This is brilliant! Who designed this?! What kind of coding was used?” She was practically like a kid in a candy store scrolling through all the features with a giant smile on her face Tohru hadn’t seen in a while as if someone had dropped a stack of chocolate chip pancakes in front of her. “What software bit? You HAVE to let me look.” And then the rabbit came up with a brilliant idea for distracting the girl away from her for a while. “Lets leave her, let’s just say, as the humans say, she’s ‘in the zone’.” That was evident by the woman's rambling something about detector technology. “First stop, Re Re Island!”

Seemingly, the Ebiburgamons were happy Talia was finally starting to enjoy her job. This was expressed with a sincere smile they showed while listening to the girl.
“Well, I actually don’t know much about this... urga…”One of them mused, placing a hand right under her mouth. Well, that also made sense… they were just cooks/fashionistas!
“I do know it was developed by the head of the ISR, a very important laboratory located in Re-Re Island.” The other one stated. “I know King Cookmon is a long-time friend of the Aka-Koka family, so they probably got the scientist to do the job for his ship.” That raised the evident question: Why had the king needed for such a powerful ship as the Firing Chiffon in the past?
In any case! Speaking of Re-Re Island…
“Yes! That’s right. That’s our destination.” Good answer there!
As Talia typed the name, the screen showed two possible routes, one of them highlighted by a green path, while the other one showed an orange color. At the end of it, the shape and name of Re-Re Island could be seen. Next to that figure, she could see the names of the islands around the piece of land. If the human touched any of the routes, she would see the details:
1- Route 1. This was the one highlighted in green. It involved going almost in a straight line towards the east, passing through 5 islands, and then going straight up north, passing through around 15 islands. It actually seemed like a very long trip! Estimated time: 7 hours.
2- Route 2. This was highlighted in orange. While it started fairly similar to the first one, it quickly took a diagonal route, going straight in a north-east-like direction that, of course, finished in Re-Re Island too, passing only through 11 islands. Estimated time: 4 hours.
If Talia was so kind to hold one of the EbiBurgamon high enough for her to see the screen, explained to them what she saw or lowered the pedestal so they could see, she would get a brief explanation.
“Apparently, the system is suggesting a couple of routes. The one highlighted in green is the safe route; although it is fairly longer, we shouldn’t find any trouble going through it.” She remarked. “That route will take us 7 hours.”
“It’s one o'clock in the afternoon right now…” One of them muttered. “That means we’ll arrive around 8 pm to Re-Re Island if we take that route.” “The party starts exactly at 8 pm, right?” “Yes.” One of them nodded. “It means we would get right on time for the party."
“If you take route number 2, we would get at 5 pm, three hours before the party starts. That would definitely give you more time to explore and prepare everything, but…” Upon clicking on route number 2, a small moving figure with a sort of twister could be seen.
“... Apparently, there is a typhoon midway through that path. That’s why the system highlights this route in orange, meaning it’s dangerous, urga.” “Yes. Although not very dangerous, since those are highlighted in red, urga.” The other Ebiburgamon clarified.
“You should select what route we’re taking now, Sailing Master.” The servant declared, raising her head to look at Talia. “Should it be the slower but safer route or the faster with unwelcoming weather conditions?”
Interesting decision!
While the servant glared at the door, seemingly worried about Kero too, his mouth wrinkled. It was clear the Ebiburgamons did not enjoy seeing their prince like that. And it was certainly something that made them very sad.
“On the third floor you will find the cauldron and the overall mechanic systems of our ship, our whole inventory is also located there, as well as some defense measures the Firing Chiffon holds, captain.” The burger digimon quickly explained. “It is important you go through those and how to use them but… as I said, none of the other members have to come if they don’t want to, they’re free to do whatever they want around the ship right now.”
Since no one had actually made a decision about how they were splitting (or if they were even splitting!) the Ebiburgamon wouldn’t move an inch.
“P-Princess…” The servant’s eyes widened as he saw Tohru finally reaching the group, after leaving Talia behind to get familiarized with the Sailing Master role. Okay, they were all here now, except for Talia. Their free time around the ship was not infinite so they better decide how each of them is going to use it right now! These decisions would be important to be successful in this mission!

From what little the small Dark Lord had seen of the ship it seemed like a very worthy vessel so far, lack of cannons aside, but that was nothing he couldn't solve in the future after it was all said and done. Frankly, even if they didn't get to the island he would have been more than happy with just the ship.
When their short tour came to a stop once again however, as the Burgamon insisted on knowing who was going to accompany the impish captain in looking around the Racketeering.
"I'll stick around, thanks. Just wanna make sure your captain doesn't think our ship accidentally or something." The man flashed the Ebi Burgamon a somewhat sarcastic smile as he gave his "captain" a pat in the head, much to the latter's visible annoyance.
"If you, the princess and his brother choose to come along that's on them." Dio simply shrugged with a huff, deciding to leave it up to the rest if they wanted to come with or not. "I feel someone should check on the Prince however."
Carlos sighed, looking at the closed door to Kero's chambers. Perhaps he wanted to be alone, but considering the sucess of this whole endeavour hinged on the prince living up to his responsabilities (as well as just simply feeling for the little monarch), the man decided that perhaps his time was better focused elsewhere other than his partner for a bit. "Fair point, I think I'll pay him a visit. You think your majesty will mind?" He asked glancing at the Ebi Burgamon, though by then he was already carefully knocking on the door to his room and waiting for a response.
"If he punches you into the sea I'm not going to rescue you."

“Laboratory?! Like an invention lab?” Between this news and playing with the ships navigation technology Talia was lighting up like a kid at christmas like she hadn’t in a long time. “Do you think I would be allowed to look around there?” It sounded like a dream if anything, forget the actual candy store, tinkering with gadgets in a state of the art laboratory was her kid in a candy store setting. “Hmmmm…” She had no issue scooping up the small burgamon and in fact found them adorable to hug (as she did most small creatures). “Hard choice considering I sorta had a near death experience already buuuut I don’t like doing things slooow. Eh, I think we can handle a typhoon! Short route it is!” Plus the quicker she was able to take off this dress, the better! Besides Simba could become a fluffy flying red dragon now and if anything, he could fly them all away if there was an emergency? “Should we indeed run into trouble, does this ship have lifejackets and lifevests? Simba can always pull us away in an emergency but I just want to know in case any of you guys can’t swim or something - you know, we have to make sure everyone is safe."“I agree about checking on him.” Tohru said. As much she wasn’t fond of the Prince, she did feel a bit bad that seemed so...glum? It would only make things all the more difficult to reject him if she had to but she just didn’t see him as attractive that way, nor was she looking for any kind of intimacy right now! “If he dares punches anyone, I’ll become andiramon and kick him away to kingdom come.” Tohru sounded super serious, more than she even usually did! It’s just at this point between being forced into a dress, being forced on a date like some mail order bride to a guy who was kind of a jerk, and Talia latching on her like a toddler the bunny dragon had just about had enough. Well, not much more debate to be held here! The Sailing Master had decided the route they should take. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew just explained a bit better what could be found at Re-Re Island.
“Urga…” One of the burger creatures pondered about Talia’s question, having her hand on her mouth. “Well… yes. I think if we do a good job with the ceremony, including the prince, the princess, and the cooking, the Aka-Koka family will probably let you look around the ISR.”
It was then when one of them added some interesting info on the mix. “Wasn’t that the laboratory that received the signal seemingly coming from Astrivia? The one with the hidden message, urga…” The servant muttered.
“T-That’s right.” The other one responded, blinking. “Whoever is looking for Astrivia would probably be very interested in going there.” She giggled.
Anyways! That was that. As Talia touched Route 2, it seemed that everything was set.
“Now the ship is taking route 2 towards Re-Re Island. We should get there in around four hours. The ship is in autopilot, however…” One of the Ebi-Burgamon pointed at the wheel, located on deck and right next to the pedestal Talia was examining. “If there is trouble, like a storm or someone attacking us, someone will have to control the wheel manually, urga. So you should stay relatively close to it at all times, Sailing Master. Please don't take this trip lightly.” That was probably the best advice these servants could be giving Talia.
“Remember you also have to pay attention to the road ahead and draw in your chart everything you see, urga.” Woah, this job definitely involved a lot of stuff! Should Talia get some help with this?
“We’re going to cook something for lunch.” The servants waved their goodbyes. “If you need anything, we’ll be by the kitchen, urga.” One of them said as they walked towards the small door that led below deck.
It wouldn’t be long before Talia spotted the first of the eleven islands the ship was supposed to go by to reach Re-Re Island. On the screen, it was labeled as “Dreamy Island. The Wind Bay.” It had a very simple shape, massive rocks on the surface and a forest that started right by the end of the shore. Did someone live here? Anyways! Time to start drawing on that map.
“Let’s go, captain.” As soon as the decision was taken, the EbiBurgamon nodded and led the way towards the basement of the Firing Chiffon. With Carlos going to talk to the prince, that left Simba and Tohru all by themselves around the ship! Better get to know the vessel a bit better, right? What should be their first destination?
The final floor of the ship was murky and kind of humid, definitely less pretty than the rest of the craft. It held a lot of boxes and barrels containing different types of items, food, and drinks. Apparently, the whole ship had enough stuff for them to live in it for days!
“Regarding the inventory, here you’ll find books, newspapers and other documents regarding The Racketeering and The Firing Chiffon, as well as papers related to the different kingdoms around Re-Re Island, I think, urga…” The servant remarked, looking at a shelf full of all types of books. “Around there…” He pointed at the western side of the floor. “You will find all of our supplies. Food, drinks, medicines...” Finally, he faced towards the southern side of the chamber, where a group of 8 cannons seemed to be aiming to the outsides through a set of gaps on the wall. “And those are our weapons and ammunition.” He noted.
“Is there anything you would like to check from up close, captain? Or do you have any questions?”
Coming close to the door, Carlos would hear the noise of utensils coming from the other side. Some seconds after knocking, he would hear the sound of Kero’s voice. “W-Who is it?” The prince sounded kind of fretted, like if he was having trouble with a little something in there. “If it’s one of you, servants, just go away. I’m okay!” He added before giving any time for an answer.
Once the human responded to the question (hopefully with the truth!), he would be met with more silence. Finally, some sort of response. “A-Are you alone?” He asked, seemingly considering letting the human in. If the answer was a ‘yes’, more silence would ensue before Carlos' ears caught an “O-Okay, come in and close the door.” Coming from the prince.
Once the silver-haired human was inside, he would find… a very unconventional bedroom. The normal things you would find in a bedroom (bed, a nightstand…) were all piled up around the eastern side of the room, leaving space for a bunch of cooking utensils and appliances spread around. This included an oven, a fridge and some other stuff you would find inside a kitchen. The surface of the oven seemed to be quite dirty! stained with some cream and milk. Was Kero making a dessert?
Trying to cover the mess he had behind him, wearing a white chef hat and an apron, the prince was standing with an awkward smile, scratching his head. “S-Sorry about the mess…”
There was one thing, however, that would raise Carlos’ attention. One of the walls didn’t have any kitchen utensils spread around or bedroom items. Instead, there was a massive board. The surface had a giant map drawn with chalk, while some pictures, newspaper articles, and phrases were pinned to it. It definitely looked like the wall of a crazy conspiracy theorist. So many names, phrases, and pictures of places and digimon were around it would be useless if Carlos tried to mind any special attention to them without knowing any further context, considering he did not know any of them. Well… except by one…
Around the center of the wall, written in red chalk, there was a name with a circle around it and many arrows leading to it. Why would that particular name raise the tamer’s attention? Oh, because he knew that one.
Amelie.

As they finally continued along with the tour of the ship the impmon took immediate note of the contents of what appeared to be the cargo hold, namely the booshelves apparently filled with documents and books regarding the boat, the restaurant and Re-Re Island.
He wasn't the most avid reader, but perhaps it would pay off to learn about Re-re Island before they actually set foot on it. That said what really caught his attention was, of course, the ship cannons and respective ammunition. The imp let out an impressed whistle as he approached the weaponry that was easily three times his size, inspecting it closer while he slid his finger along the relatively smooth surface of the cannon.
As delighted as he was with this finding, it was clear he had at least one question in his mind at the moment however.
"Heh, is the sea really so dangerous than a floating restaurant needs to carry this much firepower?" He asked as he glanced back to the Ebi Burgamon with a smirk. "Not that I'm complaining! A well armed vessel saves me the trouble of having to defend it on my own if something were to attack us."
Once (or if) the crewmember gave him an answer to his question he'd add, "At any rate, if you could point me at any of the books or documents with information on our destination and The Racketeering that would most please the Dark Lord." The former was a no brainer as any and all information on the island could potentially help them later; and the latter would possibly come in handy for whatever awaited them that night at the party. Who knows, perhaps it could help with the little situation the Prince was having.
Speaking of the Prince, once Carlos assured the Dokamon that he was alone, the man would then make his way into the small monarch's room and close the door behind him as instructed.
"Thanks, your majesty." What he found inside was for the most part somewhat expected: a small but fully equipped kitchen with it's own oven and fridge on one side...and a bed and wardrove on the other. Well, if nothing else the unorthodox layout of the room saved the Prince a lot of time if he ever woke up feeling hungry.
And yet that was not the thing that really caught the man's attention. "No need to apologize, your room still looks more tidy than Dio's..." He'd find himself reassuring Kero with a smile before his eyes were drawn to the board on one of the walls, filled with various notes, newspaper articles, pictures and what have you depicting various names and places, most if not almost all of them the man had never heard off. He would have probably ignored it and focused on what he had actually entered the room for...were it not for the fact he recognized one of the names highlited in red in the conspiracy theorist esque board. Amelie.
There was the possibility of it being a mere coincidence? Perhaps, but it was too glaring for the Tamer to ignore. He'd turn again to the Dokamon, the polite expression in his face having been replaced by one of...sheer and honest befuddlement.
"Uhm...prince Kero, not to intrude or seem rude but can I ask what's up with that board there?" He'd ask pointing at the conspicuous board, before adding, "And if we know the same Amelie?"

“I’m no artist, but I’ll do my best.” She watched the large stones and sketched mimics of rock shapes on the map while placing some drawings of basic trees behind them to match the layout. “That definitely looks like a forest hiding a secret.” Maybe it had a trible of digimon who were cannibals, or a deity protecting a sacred treasure! Come to think of it this really wasn’t that different than monitoring the activities of cyber criminals on the internet, at least in the needing to pay attention aspect so she was already used to the needed behavior of the position. “Hopefully we dont get too close to those rocks either, they look awfully sharp.” Or even near those currents! “Yep, we’ll definitely avoid those if we can. Hmm, I could use a lookout...”
Meanwhile the twins weren’t sure how to pass the time but Simba expressed an interest in sitting atop the crows nest of the ship. You’d think for someone who liked being high up so much he’d might have been a cat! “Okay but dont wander off too far! And don’t get scared to come down or I’ll leave you up there!” Because much like a cat, he was okay with going up but not down? Tohru meanwhile was concerned about the Prince after hearing about his behavior, also guilty, with the knowledge his seeming crush probably would never go far with her. “May I see the Prince too?” Knocking on the door a bit after Carlos entered, the rabbit called out first. “It’s Tohru! Can I come inside?”
