It was early in the evening, the ghost writer truly felt like a ghost, traveling through the streets. On the one hand, no one would suspect the tiny frame was the one who wrote the decently renowned teen medical drama trilogy "Prescription for happiness". On the other hand, no one would suspect she was an adult given her tiny stature, the same life that inspired her to write was one of hardship as she suffered constant medical issues, stunting her physical progression. Normally she would never let that bother her, until situations like her current one occurred.
She entered a convenient store for a bag of her favorite brand and flavor of chips, an extra spicy brand, that usually got stocked on the top shelf, out of the small girl's reach. Akimi struggled to get it, she tried jumping but she wasn't very athletic and couldn't jump high enough, there were no other customers in at the moment, and the only staff in was the cashier who was at the moment just sitting behind the counter reading a magazine, chewing gum, Akimi tried asking him for help but was denied right away as the lazy employee claimed that he had to stay at the counter, store policy. Akimi knew that wasn't true, she been here before, and this was just him being difficult.
Akimi already came this far, and she was almost ready to put a bit. She got an idea as she pulled out her D-Tector from her pocket and pressed the button on the side, staring at it for a brief moment, but she looked around, even on the off chance the employee didn't care, there were cameras and mirrors around, she sighed and put away her digivice. "No, not the time or place to use this... Height, truly is my worst enemy."
