One thing that Aurelia learned quickly, out on the streets, is how to act natural. She wasn't a thief, she was just a young kid window shopping - just a little Patamon who didn't mean any trouble to anyone. Not many people in Luminas tended to think much of a little rookie, let alone a Vaccine rookie, goofing around in the streets - the city was a safe place, and kids tended to not stray too far from home or their parents anyways. And any poster-child Vaccine digimon knew better than to cause trouble, anyways; as far as any digimon knew - particularly the more traditional and old-fashioned sorts - Virus digimon were what you had to look out for. According to them, Virus digimon were liars, thieves, troublemakers....
... Well, if only they knew the truth about her. Using peoples' perceptions of her to her advantage, it usually wasn't too hard to swipe things from under their noses. A head of lettuce here, some meats there, anything that appealed to her as far as food and supplies went. Oooh, how about some cheese... She tended to know how to keep everyone's attentions away from her as she'd swipe something, before blending back in with the crowd - stuffing her hauls into the little Infini-Storage in her purse as she did. Never steal from the same shop twice in a row - especially not in the same day. Don't fall into a routine; that's how they start remembering your face. Just be another kid running along in the streets, just flash a few friendly smiles and 'hello's in another digimon's direction, and be on your way - maybe grabbing a coinpouch or wallet along the way, if it's unsecured.
Today's haul was fruitful, though - both literally, and figuratively. "Lucas! Luke!" Aurelia would hiss into an abandoned building, as she ducked into the alleyway that had led to it. They had been hiding out here for the past few days - cleaned up one of the rooms for their personal use. Though with talk of it being torn down soon, it seemed like it would be time to move on once again, soon enough.
Nonetheless, at her call, a small Tsukaimon would poke his head out of a pile of blankets - golden eyes shining in the dim light. "Mmn... Aure?" He'd call out softly. He seemed tired - likely having been napping while she was out and about - before perking as he saw her pulling out the Infini-Storage. It seems she went on one of her theft sprees again, judging by the grin on her face - not that he'd ever call her out on it. Food was food, even if he felt bad about stealing - though if he didn't eat, then what WOULD he do? Humming softly, shoving down the faint feeling of guilt in his gut, he'd move over to her side - asking "What'd you manage to get this time?"
"Lots of food - especially some fruit!" She'd chirp, pulling out a bushel of bananas for them to split. "We'll be good for a while, I think - maybe three or five days?" It was hard to estimate how long food will last them; as they were growing kids, they were big eaters, and they were perhaps bad at rationing foods. But food was food, and having it meant that they were able to relax a little - and having bits meant that if Aurelia wanted, she could legitimately buy something in dire situations. But she wanted to save the bits - if they saved enough, maybe they could purchase a ticket to the Digital World below? Lucas seemed to share those sentiments - he wanted out of Luminas as soon as possible, and Aurelia very much understood why.
That was the plan, at least. In the meantime though, the twins would be in this abandoned building - sharing a bushel of fresh bananas between the both of them for lunch. As they did, they would talk - "Thinking we should move on, today or tomorrow.." Lucas murmured, an ear twitching; even if Aurelia had a hard time making the movement out in the dimness of the room. "I don't really think it'll end well if anyone sees me..." The little Patamon would nod in agreement - musing "Yeah, they'll probably start having 'mons checking out this place... Sooner we leave, less likely they'll spot us..." Lucas hummed and nodded back, munching down a banana. Finding a new place to hide in - all over again - will probably be a pain, he mused to himself - but shelter was important... "... Lets go after we eat, then..." He'd decide - Aurelia nodding again, in quiet agreement.

It was largerly annoying to come to Luminas, whenever she did she had to make sure to bring somone that could escort her out quickly from the place. But with Joseph out on long patrols, oathgard dealing with a hassle back in rosewood and garlond defending the homefront it fell to K to go and get supplies from the flying city. People often asked her why she went this far, why she made a statement of coming out to here. Even with the restraints she had to wear here and even with how people looked at her like she was walking on thin ice.
She had to be here, had to stop by. She had to make a presence that was more than just a simple renamon from the forest playing knight. No her steps were firm, her icy blue eyes harsh and silent. But there was a gentleness about her, a gentle wisp of power easing the wounds and comforting those that found themselves ill.
With luminas dealing with such a coup so recently a lot of things were in short supply, healers, doctors, supplies... The last of which she had managed to get a small portion allocated to vander tower for a hefty price. She didn't mind paying it and the angels didn't mind taking her bits even with the hesitation of those restraints.
She had to wait for a time, but rather than do so in the comfort of the higher locations she wander that of what could be considered the slum. Passing her healing aura to those that needed. She had to apologize to those that she couldn't do more for. Rubbing her neck she'd pad along the street, squatting down to see about a passed out drunkart on the side of the street. Noting that he was breathing steadily she'd shift him to be sitting against the side of a building rather than collasped on the side of the street.
"They're trying so hard to fix everything... It's only a matter of time little ones..."

It did not take long for the two to finish up their eating, and begin making their way out of the building. Aurelia took the lead - as always - whilst Lucas trailed after her just a short distance behind, letting her act as the lookout while they moved. Aurelia had a better eye for her surroundings than he did, even if he was good at seeing in the dark - and by letting her take the lead, he was less likely to be spotted by the wrong people, and if someone did give Aurelia trouble - he could get the jump on them without them noticing him. He didn't like having to fight people, but... He also didn't want his sister to get hurt, either.
Either way, they would be taking things slow and casual, keeping low - keeping to the shadows as they scouted out for their next hideout. The other digimon that they'd pass by didn't bother them too much - assuming the digimon paid them much mind, in the first place. With Aurelia's use of a infini-storage, they didn't tend to look like the sorts that had much on them - and numbers, even if it was just the two of them, brought a modicum of security against a digimon trying to jump them.
Nonetheless though, even if most of the digimon here didn't pay them mind, the duo would find themselves noticing an unfamiliar face in the streets. A tall Renamon, it seemed - with a red cloak, and weird devices on her wrists.... She seemed quite unusual, Aurelia thought - and she certainly didn't look like she belonged here. Too clean-looking, for lack of a better term - and she certainly wasn't a face that the little Patamon recognized. She seemed to be offering some aid to other digimon, though - in the form of a strange aura about her, and how she'd gently move a passed-out digimon out of the street.
Curious, Lucas would file in alongside Aurelia, the duo both peeking around a corner towards K from afar - "I wonder who that is..." Lucas breathed out loud - mostly to himself. "Beats me," Aurelia remarked - though she pondered whether the Renamon would have some form of wallet or bag that she could swipe. It seemed like it'd be dumb to carry stuff like that around in the slums, at least openly - but you never knew. This city was full of dumbasses, in her opinion. Either way, Aurelia would glance to Lucas, then back to K - wondering, thinking, before asking softly to him "Think we should follow her? Maybe we'll learn more." Of course, Aurelia wasn't about to tell Lucas that she was considering K a possible mark - though Lucas had a faint clue of what Aurelia's true intentions were.
Personally, he was unsure - he didn't really like the idea of following after another digimon just so Aurelia could try to pickpocket them; what if the Renamon caught her red-handed? What if the Renamon noticed them, and got after him? Though... Despite his anxieties, he also was quite curious of such an unusual and new sight in the slums - and...
... If he was to be honest, there was something about the Renamon that seemed... Reassuring. She didn't seem like a bad person, she seemed like she was quite kind.
"... Alright," Lucas would finally agree with a small nod - trying to smile back at Aurelia when she grinned widely, and began blazing a path down the street - the duo making to tail K. The only question now, was - whether the Renamon would notice the duo, and if so, how long it'd take her...

Checking over the amount of people that were here was somewhat tiring, the sheer amount of people that needed help were far greater than what she could do in a simple day. She'd grit her teeth, locking an angels arm to give an infected cut the attention it needed. Her ear flicked a bit as she could hear some talking down the way. Did more people need her help? Honestly it was nice of her to even do this; considering what the country thought of her and her own personal thoughts on the prior luminas government.
K stood up, watching the angel for a moment. Her ears flicked again and she'd turn slightly her cloak billowing around her as though being somewhat defensive. She'd take maybe two or three steps before a gentle tugging on her cloak made her turn her head.
From the corner of her eye she could see two smaller forms approaching, but she kneeled regardless. The angel that she had attended just a moment ago thanking her and offering a meager amount of bits; in which K would firmly close their hand around the offered item. Pushing it back against there chest with a shake of the head.
"Not doing this for bits."
She'd manage an earnest smile and stand up, mulling over quietly where to go next. Maybe the two approaching her so quickly needed help? So she'd turn further, her head first and then the rest of her body. To a pickpocket there wasn't much that you could see immediately, but to a more discerning eye there were a few things that could be grabbed. The amulet she was wearing underneath the plating that her cloak had, a tint of blue sticking out of her chest fluff was an infini-storage of her own...
And something smooth and black that was nestled firmly in where her hip was. It didn't seem to have a problem staying against it though...

Aurelia and Lucas would both freeze in their steps, as they realized that K had noticed them. Well... So much for pickpocketing them - it seemed the Renamon was quite aware of the duo now, and Aurelia couldn't help but curse internally at this. Pickpocketing might be a little more difficult, then - though at least the Renamon seemed possibly friendly - especially with how she seemed to be helping the angel digimon over there - and with K facing them, Aurelia could make out a couple of faint things of interest. First of all, there was something blue poking out a bit, standing out against her stark white fur (which, now that she thought about it, weren't Renamon usually gold?) There also something against her hip - though the little Patamon had trouble making out what, exactly, it was. The amulet was overlooked, though - with it being hidden underneath the plating of the cloak.
Maybe another time, then - maybe she could tail this Renamon once she lost interest in them, assuming that she was indeed friendly.
Either way, Lucas would've made a soft, surprised noise at them being noticed - and would huddle to hide behind his sister. Aurelia would glance back to him, then up to K, before easily putting on a friendly, cutesy smile of her own. "Hi!" She'd chirp to the Renamon in a friendly fashion, her ear-wings twitching slightly, as though to try and make herself appear curious. "Pardon my brother, he's really shy -" She would begin, making a show of gently, encouragingly, nudging Lucas as though to reassure him (albeit it was genuine, even if it was to keep up appearances,) before continuing "- but we were wondering who you were! We've never seen a face like yours, around here - and we know a lot of the faces here!"
Lucas would slowly, shyly, poke his head out from behind Aurelia as she spoke and reassuringly nudged him - his ears were folded close to his body, and he seemed tense; as though trying to make himself as small and as unnoticeable as possible. But, despite this, he'd try to be polite and friendly - squeaking out a soft and nervous "H-hello..." under his breath. If it weren't for K's likely sensitive hearing, it was likely that any little noise would've drowned out his voice!

K's attention didn't waiver from the two that were now in front of her, she'd tilt her head lightly as it seemed like they didn't know what to do with the attention itself. At least at first before one of the two addressed her, that quick smile, friendly and cutesy. The small chirp making her ear flick; her own smile easing onto her face. She could tell that they wanted or needed something, you don't quite just approach someone like her without a desire of some kind.
"He's fine Dear, hello there~"
K would bend forward a bit, putting one hand on her leg and giving a small wave. A big cheerful smile on her face as she greeted Lucas. Then of course came the question of who she was, how they had never seen a face like hers around. As they knew many of those that went about this place. The renamon mulled over how to answer this exactly; saying who she was okay. Was it really all right for her to state her affiliation with herself? The renamon let out a small exhale and then stood back up, rubbing at the back of her neck.
"My name is K, I'm the leader of the knights of the rose. We're based out of rosewood and I figured while waiting for my squire to get supplies I'd help out around here."
Sure a little more than what they asked for, but the renamon had no reason to hide her motives here. The more they asked, the more she would tell. Her eyes were honest, kind and they slid between the two. There was no judgement, no passionate disdain for either of them. Just acceptance of who they were at a glance and the renamon seemed wholy ready to help out judging by her body language. At that greeting that Lucas gave her the renamon smiled widely.
"No need to be shy dear, I won't bite. What are your names? Do your parents know you're out here? It's a tad dangerous in this area I've been told."

The Renamon was certainly a strange one - it wasn't everyday that you saw one with white fur quite like K's, let alone one that wore a cloak that resembled that of a Hackmon or Jesmon. But seeing that she was so friendly... Lucas couldn't help but slowly, tentatively, step out from behind Aurelia proper to observe and look K over; even though he was, admittedly, very anxious - he was also very curious of her, too!
Especially when she would introduce herself as the leader of the Knights of the Rose. Though the group name didn't exactly ring a bell to Lucas, his eyes would light up a hair at hearing that she was the leader of some sort of group of knights! Maybe not a Royal Knight per se, but still! Lucas could feel a hint of excitement - but also even more anxiety - at the idea of being in the presence of what must be a very important knight (even if she wasn't a Knight,) given that he had always dreamed of becoming some sort of noble guard or knight. Yet...
... He was a Virus digimon. Sure, she was friendly right now, but... Surely this was just like how Aurelia would put on a cutesy face for appearances, right? It'd probably look bad on her if she made a fuss over him; and a Virus digimon couldn't become a knight anyhow...
Aurelia, on the other hand, was a little skeptical. Knights and Guards and the like only read as trouble to her - if she was caught stealing, it was likely that K would be quick to bring the hammer down on her. But on the inverse... The Knights of the Rose faintly rung a bell, having heard of them thru school gossip and the such, but she otherwise didn't really know much. But even then, if K was the leader of them, that had to mean that she had to have something good on her, right? Risk and reward, and all.
But of course, this was all her internal train of thought. On the outside, she'd remain cheery; putting on an awed "Woaaaah~!" at the mention of K being the leader of KOTR. "You lead a bunch of knights?! That sounds so cool!" Sure, maybe it was a hair exaggerated - but she was putting on her best appearance of a cute, excited, little Patamon who was just so curious and awed over the idea of being in front of someone who sounded like an important figure!
At the question of their names, and parents, though... The mood would drop almost like a rock. Lucas grew uncomfortable at the thought of his parents - and Aurelia couldn't help but frown at being reminded of them, glancing back to Lucas before she turned back to K. "Oh, uhm... I'm Aurelia, and my brother here is Lucas; but... We don't really have any parents." She'd frown, the cutesy cheery face being replaced with a somber, saddened, please-pity-me mask. "It's just us out here; we don't really have anyone but each other...."
