BACKGROUND
Hikaru and Owen's 10th child... or maybe 11th, no one really knows. He's named similarly to his grandfather Sten to honor him. He was born almost at the same time with his sister, Brunhilde (Hilda), albeit from different egg. Since young, Steyr is a slow grower, late to hatch, and late to evolve, even though he ate a lot, train a lot, and spend his rest time napping productively. His brother Haku suggested that this might because he inherited two naturally flawed data of his parents
From Owen, data that dated over 100 years ago, Jaelin the Captain of 7/71st
From Hikaru, residue of DEXDoru line that unfortunately unable to be completely purged, but dormant.
This caused Steyr to develop strange abilities. Ever since he was born, he's unable to register pain, almost as if it's completely muted from him. He can register tickles, or other sense of touch... but anything that inflicts harm to him felt like something being inserted, then promptly left his body. It's also theorized that his data faulty is what made him a slow grower he is.
Up until now, Steyr has yet to reach child stage. While he often spend his time in Ys, he often begged to hitch along with his sibling's adventure, hoping that one day he'll be a hero like figure like what his doggo father is to him.
PERSONALITY
For lack of better description, Steyr is a wolf looking for glory. He's particularly close to his grandfather, who he always begged to tell him lot of heroic stories. From those stories, he always imagine himself to be one who scored such glory. Steyr might be a slow grower, but he made it up with sheer enthusiasm that he have toward helping his family, and anyone that need his help for that matter. He loves praises, and sort of live for it. In the flip side, he's a type that would brood over any failure that he did. He tends to be harsher to himself when he failed someone's expectation.
Under the surface level of his high confidence, high ego self, there hides an insecure child who are more bound to the earth. He's afraid of being left behind, and always afraid to be treated as a burden. He hates to disappoint, and he hates to be anything but one that his parents can be proud of. He loves his parents dearly, and while he does have some jealousy toward his siblings, loves them more than anything.
