Leveling Up (Training Topic)

The Infinity Colosseum, a place in Terminus of the Digial World where people could fight to their heart's content. Shino was no stranger to the urge of testing one's skills against one another, and at least here, the threat of death was not a factor of things went too far. People were there to break fights up or save the defeated.
Shino noticed some of her friends, some from AEGIS, and another she met named Zachary who was participating. She would keep an eye out for what was happening as the matches were being freely advertised. However, what brought her and Vector here-- was the desire to sharpen their skills. They could of done this back in the real world where AEGIS had a training room, but any excuse to come here was a good reason to explore the Digital World.
In her mind, she kept hoping trips to the Digital World would safely jog the Commandramon's memory-- her partner lost it when they first met.
WHile they made some progress on the search for his past, he was still a trigger-happy goofball who would enjoy making a fool of himself than following orders. Which was ironic since he was a skilled sniper.
They now were in a special area of the arena-- a place for gladiators and warriors to train with one another or fight objects. Might as well come here for target practice.
Shino and Vector stood among a series of wooden 'fenses' used to divide spaces and acts like turrets for hiding and ducking behind. Around the place were a variety of targets and dummies. They were all worn down and eroded, showing they had been used a good number of times.
"I guess this is a good spot to do it here," Shino suggested to her partner.
"Afterward, can we get some popcorn? They are selling it along with placing bets for the matches. " Vector asked, polishing his rifle as if it was a treasured possession.
Shino rolled her eyes. "You and your stomach... Come on, Commandramon. You wanted to train so this is where we do it. " she said, urging him to focus.

Byakko missed having companions around. Outside of the obvious reasons of having friends around he can talk to, it's very easy for him to "blank out" and wander about to random areas of the digital world if there's no one around. It was mildly annoying, but as of yet it hadn't gotten him into any dire trouble. He always snaps out of it if someone's nearby.
And here he is, some distance away from what looked like a training area. He had heard talks and descriptions of this place before, but it was safe to say that, as far as he could remember, this was his first time here. He never really needed to come here before, being as he was never too focused on combat skill... but he might as well would make the use of it here, if only to ensure a period he wouldn't blank out again.
On all fours, the large Gazimon headed onward, thinking back to a long time ago, helping his old flame train through the use of his solid illusions. He even tried to trick her during the training exercise, acting as if someone else had came in and tried to attack. That said, thinking back on it, she might have seen through the deception. Still, it got the job done, allowing her to reach a higher form.
Inside, he maintained as low a profile he could, to not prompt any fights. He was much more interested in watching the others than participating. He had also hoped that, maybe, he'd find his old friends here, but even he realized the chances of that happening were slim to none.
After some pacing around the arenas, he spotted the general area Shino and Vector were in. He recognized Vector as a commandramon, and looked at the relatively poor looking conditions of the training area.
Walking on over to them still, Byakko had no qualms over just making conversation; it might have been boring otherwise just watching from afar. The large, winged gazimon looked upon them with bright red eyes and began to growl... conversationally? Vector would be able to understand the growls, but Shino would not.
^One would think someone would at least fix this place up a bit. What good is a target range if it's all busted?^

Vector was eager to get to work as he leveled his rifle along the brace of the wooden platform. He aimed for one of the bullseye targets. He was focused for the moment, looking at the target through his scope. The rifle he had-- to most Commandramon they had an Assassin M16-- but his was a styled out sniper rifle. Similar to the one Shino would use in the shooting game she used to play. Since that fateful encounter, he took on a sniper's job. As he was about to pull the trigger-- he heard the growl, as did Shino. Shino shouted as she spun around and Vector turned too, aiming his rifle too. At least, till he heard the voice of the growl. Vector cocked his head. " Dunno, you volunteering?" Vector half joked, unsure what he was talking about. " I do what I can with what I got. Like Burt Gummer." Shino glared at her partner-- her fear from the strange dust-devil bunny, now turned to rediculous as she heard the comment. " You and your movies..." she groaned. Needless to say, the rabbit needed to make some introductions as Shino had no clue who it was or what it was saying. " Don't you know how to talk? " she asked.

Sanoske scratched his chin when asked if he was volunteering. He seemed unfazed about the rifle being pointed at him, although at this point it wasn't like Vector could have caused him any harm due to the disparity of their levels. There was also the curious reference he made, although as he didn't know who or what Burt Gummer was he didn't dwell on it.
^Hmm, perhaps I could volunteer. But not in the method you might be thinking of right now. I am too large a target at the moment to make training worthwhile. ^
As expected, Shino wanted to know what was going on, bluntiy asking him if he knew how to speak. Even after all this time he could not speak as well as he could growl. But for her sake, he went through the effort.
"Garroo... I am... Byakko...I... wrrish to helrp you... trrain."
Referring to himself by his real name was still odd to him, given what happened before, but he didn't make it obvious that he thought anything of it. He merely took a few steps away before he sat down and closed his eyes. With a turn of his claw, he motioned Vector to turn around. When he did so, he and Shino would see a few off color illusionary Commandramon, all slightly transparent, run and take cover behind various objects.
"Do not worrry... theyr won't hurrt you..."
One of the illusions took the time to pop out and fire a shot. Should Vector get hit, it would, as the Gazimon said, not hurt him. But he would still feel it. Granted, Byakko wasn't really trying too hard to hit him at this point, so dodging it would be simple.

Shino felt a bit left in the dark till the creature spoke-- but she caught on that somehow Vector could easily hear him. Vector cocked his head more as he was still confused by the odd overgrown black rabbit with devil wings and a wicked appearance. "Eh, well if you want-- that's cool. Sorry, but you shouldn't sneak up on people like that." he said.
"Wait-- You understand that guy?" Shino asked, slowly putting together that it was some sort of language digimon spoke? How could she know? Only after a bit of time he spoke rough enough to reveal his name. "Byakko" like the white tiger.
Shino didn't know this Digimon and it didn't take a genius like her to know this creature was of a Nightmare Soldier variety. Mostly demons or impish creatures. Still, she seemed cautious by why the guy was there.
"Looks more like he wants to help us out, methinks, ma'am!" he said in his odd choice of words again.
As the illusions came out-- it reminded them of the evil Commandramon, the one from the D-brigade that had targheted them. "I suppose this will make good training. Thank you, Byakko, was it?" she said.
The illusions of other Commandramon started to move and one of them soon attempted to fire at Vector. With a shout, Commandramon ducked under the barrier in the way, avoiding the shot. "Wow. Just as mean as the one we met-- or as cranky as Yoshi's Commandramon anyway." he said. Annoyed now, Commandramon readed his own rifle. It didn't take him long till he got his own aim-- and fired with a loud bang.
The small bullet shot right to its mark-- nailing the shooting Commandramon in the nose. With it hit, the illusion shattered to bits of data before their eyes. While Vector was a bit of a talker, he still had all the discipline a Sniper needed

Sneak up on them? While not in a bad mood, were he in a better one he'd have a good laugh. Stealth wasn't exactly something he'd expect to be described as, even if he was trying to walk in a way that would not make him look aggressive.
With one of the illusions destroyed, the others would try laying out suppressing fire.
^I can make this as hard as you need. I should probably make it harder anyway, if you destroy my illusions too quickly that will drain me. But right now... we are fine.^
Another fake Commandramon appeared, carrying a nasty looking fake knife. He made his way closer to Vector through the obstacles, while one of the others went in closer, trying to flank him.
All the while this was happening, Byakko's eyes remained closed, concentrating, but not at all looking like he was straining. He had gotten used to handling multiple entities at once. The way he saw was kind of dog like, sitting on his hind legs, but still facing the action.
But despite his concentration on the training area, he was able to handle a conversation with the human tamer.
"Byakko... yes. Just arr... wanderring Digi-mon.
I belierve you... neverr gave... me yourr namres..."
