The Fog at the End Of The Tunnel [NPC]

"...Y'sure this is where you want to go?" The ferryman (who was also a Tentomon) inquired, glancing back towards his passengers, a teenager and an azure Wormmon. The former seemed a little apathetic to the situation he was in, but the latter gave a few nods in response.
"Yeah. We're looking for something, to put it lightly. We shouldn't be here too long. We'll get back before sundown."
Not that the sun could be seen over the fog. So, why were they out here? Hisato was here on account of Scarab dragging him around begrudgingly after picking up a contract (where he got that from, Hisato was incredibly uncertain about). Something about having to show him the ropes since he was apparently his tamer now.
...Not that he was all too sure about what that entailed. There was a sort of general knowledge that he had but not much else aside from that. Aside from apparently having to deal with -this- thing. In time, they pulled up to an island, still shrouded with mist. The Tentomon tied the ferry to the pier, and the duo disembarked onto a dry, wooden dock.
"So, care to tell me what the heck we're doing now? Or what we're doing here?" Hisato asked out loud, as he took a stretch. Scarab, meanwhile, proceeded forward. Dangit, that meant he had to follow. "Trail led here. Now where the target is, that's another question..." The bug murmured.
"Are you -always- this vague?"
"No, are you always a goddamn chatterbox? Holy shit."
The path ahead didn't have a lot. A spit of land. Waterfalls, going downwards without end. That goddamn fog. What would they find?

Today just wasn't Crowlomon's day. Today, for certain, wasn't their day at all. It started with a heist; a wondrous heist that they thought that they had pat-down. Take out the camera, sneak past the patrolling guards, stash the loot in their infini-store, then get out lickety-split..! But it had seemed that their informant forgot about a vital bit of information in the heist - namely, that there were sensors at the vault doors. This mistake resulted in the whole alarm system going off, and a frantic and flurried escape; in the process of which, their identity had been revealed. And with their identity known to those in the Digital World, bounties were sure to follow; both for what little they had managed to snatch from that heist, and for any past heists that people could pin on them, no-doubt. As a result, Crowlomon decided that now was as good of a time as any, to start laying low. Hide out somewhere far away from the public eye, stash away their loot, and hope that nobody would come knocking and tracking them down. They had bribed the ferryman they took to get here to keep his mouth shut; but who knows how reliable he'd be, in the grand scheme of things? Not very, it seemed. Crowlomon would be hiding in an alcove just over the edge of the cliff - nestled between a couple of waterfalls - as they heard distant voices, and nearing footsteps. And here, they'd weigh their options. Fight, or flight? Perhaps if they were quick, they could hitch a ride with the ferryman, and bribe him with what loot they had left, to go hide elsewhere - but if they took out the couple of potential hunters here and now, they could scavenge whatever goodies they had from the duo before they left. And more loot was always good, in Crowlomon's opinion. Taking wing, Crowlomon would move to a more advantageous position, in an attempt to spy on the two potential hunters from afar, to gauge how much of a threat they were, and... PFFFT..!A human and a wormmon? Really? Crowlomon was unsure on whether they should be insulted or not, by such a seemingly weak couple of hunters searching around here; they could make a meal out of the wormmon, if they really wanted to...! Of course, that'd only paint a bigger target on their back - best to just knock them out and rob them, before skedaddling - but the temptation certainly was there. If they got stronger, they'd have less to worry about, after all. Feeling confident - perhaps overconfident, even - and prideful, Crowlomon would take this as a chance to attempt ambushing the wormmon; figuring that, by getting a strong attack in early on, they could really mess up this duo's day before they even knew what hit them...! They'd fly upwards, to gain a little altitude over the duo, before diving just low enough to let loose a Raucous Crow at the wormmon as they flew past in an aerial attack...! "Hah!" The Crowlomon laughed, perching on a nearby tree; wings readied to take off once more at a moment's notice, for if the wormmon attempted a retalitory attack. This Crowlomon was distinct; distinct enough as to be identified as just the 'mon they were looking for, judging by the piebald white pattern that would cover the dark parts of the crow digimon's feathers. "Let me guess; you a couple of rookie hunters who think they got a chance against me? Or are you two just a pair of sight-seeing mooks? Either way, you're going to be easy as hell to take care of..!"Regardless of where Raucuous Crow struck, though... A slight hiss and lingering sizzling might draw that aforementioned Wormmon's attention to where it hit; the data being weakened and eaten away somewhat, by the caustic properties that Crowlomon's attack seemed to have. While it wasn't severe enough to worry about from a single attack, who knew what effect it might have on him, were those attacks to stack up?
- In an ambush attack, Crowlomon dives past Scarab with Raucous Crow, before perching in a nearby tree..! Move Used:[ATTACK] Raucous Crow: Crowlomon lets out a supernaturally loud caw at the foe; striking them with a burst of sonic energy! [1 Turn Cooldown] Passives Known:[PASSIVE] Caustic: Crowlomon's attacks are acidic in nature; the more they fight someone, the more that any outer armor or defenses are worn away...! For each attack that Crowlomon is able to land on the enemy, that enemy gain a stack of Caustic. For each stack of Caustic an enemy has, they lose 8% defense; up to a maximum of 40% at 5 stacks..! Cooldowns:Raucous Crow - 0/1

Scarab was quite certain someone was here, but he never did trust his senses that much. He was, after all, a mere bug. What could he detect? "What'd our mark even look like again? A bird?" Hisato asked out loud, but he was pretty quick to lower his voice. They came close to a cliff and some more waterfalls, and it was then that Hisato's question was answered, the target diving for Scarab and letting loose a powerful burst of sonic energy at them.
Hisato ducked and darted away like any reasonable person would, while Scarab wasn't as quick on the draw, and got grazed by the burst, the Wormmon quickly noting the causticity of the attack. "I'm going to ignore the fact you just called me a rookie." He muttered through gritted teeth before he turned to fire silk towards the Crowlomon--the silk itself felt razor sharp to the touch, so it threatened to cut at the bird's feathers if it hit it's mark.
Granted, there was a bit of range between them...Hisato meanwhile glanced around the area for something he could use to help out here. Rocks? A stick? God, who knew what could be found here...
Relevant Passives:
Sticky… [Passive]: As a Wormmon, Scarab is able to scale objects and the like much easier than a lot of other lifeforms on the planet. On top of a speed bonus of 20%, he has that going for him
Scarab is grazed by Crowlomon initial attack, and gains a stack of Caustic in doing so, losing 8% defense. He retaliates by firing Worm Shooter at Crowlomon with the intent of annoying the piss out of them with razor sharp silk. However that works.
Worm Shooter: Scarab fires a line of dangerously fine (read: razor sharp, somehow) silk at an enemy. It gathers around very quickly, and genuinely hurts to get rid of because of the razor sharp quality. Two post cooldown.

"Heh." Crowlomon smugly laughed briefly; turning their beak up at Scarab. "One would think that I'd remember a blue Wormmon of all things, if you were any big name on the hunting scene; but you don't ring a bell!" They'd remark - taking flight once more, as Scarab shot a line of razor-sharp silk at them. It, for the most part, missed; though some of the silk would catch on and cut into the Crowlomon's legs as they took flight; eliciting a sharp hiss, as they winged in a wide loop up above.
"You've got a nasty attack right there, huh? Good thing I dodged the brunt of it, then; heh!" The Crowlomon chuckled, before beginning to swoop downwards. "And I'll make sure I dodge a whole lot more, since you probably have a hell of a lot more up your sleeve..!"
Diving down towards one of the drier portions of the island, Crowlomon began to furiously beat their wings; using Dusty Gale and kicking up a swirling storm of wind, dust, and miscellaneous debris such as sticks and leaves..! It was going to be hard to aim and make out the crow digimon in this duststorm, but it seemed that Crowlomon had no problem; as they'd attempt to fly past Scarab, and claw at him with their talons as they passed...! "Come catch me now..!" They'd taunt, as they'd once more near-disappear into the dust storm.
- Crowlomon is similarly grazed by Scarab's Worm Shooter; hit on the legs. - In retaliation, Crowlomon uses Dusty Gale to kick up a storm, and attempts to use the cover to claw at Scarab in a basic attack as they fly by..!
Move Used: [ABILITY] Dusty Gale: Wildly flapping their wings, Crowlomon conjures up a storm of dust and other miscellaneous debris; reducing the accuracy of all Digimon - friend and foe alike - in the area by 20% for 3 turns, excluding Crowlomon themself. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Passives Known: [PASSIVE] Caustic: Crowlomon's attacks are acidic in nature; the more they fight someone, the more that any outer armor or defenses are worn away...! For each attack that Crowlomon is able to land on the enemy, that enemy gain a stack of Caustic. For each stack of Caustic an enemy has, they lose 8% defense; up to a maximum of 40% at 5 stacks..!

This bird had only made their existence known for all of a few seconds and Scarab noted very quickly that it was taxing on his patience, which was honestly a new record. "That's funny, you don't ring a bell either, chicken." Obviously, the best way to respond in this situation was to fight fire with fire.
Even if the fire in question was harsh words, which Scarab was more than good at. The chicken couldn't dodge forever, though, and as Crowlomon kicked up that dust storm, he was anticipating another attack. Scarab threw himself to the side to avoid Crowlomon as their silhouette came near him. "Oh, I'll catch you alright, you dandy fuck..."
On the outside of the storm, Hisato finally found a decently sized rock, and in what may have been the most gutsy-ish move the human could pull...Picked it up and hurled it into the dust storm, hoping it'd somehow hit Crowlomon even if he couldn't necessarily see the bird all too well.
Meanwhile, once Scarab had tossed himself to the side, he whipped his head in the direction that Crowlomon would be flying in and fired a bright blue beam from his forehead. The Beamos, also known as his go-to attack for getting out of close combat. Though in this case, he was trying to hit a bird on the wings. Relevant Passives: Sticky… [Passive]: As a Wormmon, Scarab is able to scale objects and the like much easier than a lot of other lifeforms on the planet. On top of a speed bonus of 20%, he has that going for him.
Scarab tosses himself to the side to avoid that second pass from Crowlomon, and launches Beamos at Crowlomon. Meanwhile, Hisato goes rock throwing. Yeah, it's likely neither of these might hit, but might as well try.
Beamos: Scarab fires a beam from that little yellow spot on his forehead. Given what this move is named after, the beam's pretty nasty to get hit by, as it can pierce through shields/resistances if it hits anything. Three turn cooldown.
Cooldowns (I forgot this last post): Worm Shooter: 1/2 Beamos: 0/3

"I certainly hope I don't!" The Crowlomon simply laughed and rolled their eyes in response; taking Scarab's retort in visible stride. "If every no-name Joe and wannabe knew me, I wouldn't be able to excel like I have up to now!" Flicking their tail feathers in a dismissive fashion, they'd add "The only reason you even know to come after me in the first place, is cause some dumbass gave me faulty info. However... Once I take you two out, I'll be able to lay low for awhile, even if that'll mean spending some loot in the process. And once the heat simmers down, and people forget about me, be able to come back in style; not that anyone will know~!"
In the cover of the dust storm, Crowlomon felt confident in their ability to avoid whatever attacks that Scarab could throw at them; that Wormmon probably couldn't see a foot in front of his own face, after all...! What the crow digimon did not account for, however... Was that Hisato was just as much a fighter in this, as Scarab was..!
As a rock came flying at Crowlomon from outside of the storm - followed by a sudden beam attack from Scarab - one after the other...! The crow digimon expected some form of ranged retaliation from Scarab, but it did not expect an attack from Hisato; prompting them to squawk in surprise as the rock struck them on the wing..! They'd waver in flight briefly; being forced to let themselves make a crash-landing to avoid the Beamos attack - not that anyone would be able to see it through the dust, likely.
Regardless, Crowlomon wasn't exactly happy as they'd take flight; shouting "Just wait your turn, you little brat!" at Hisato as they circled around once, before letting out another Raucous Crow at Scarab; the dust briefly displaced by the attack, before the storm reformed and continued on.
- The Crowlomon is struck by the rock, and narrowly avoids the Beamos attack (albeit crashes into the ground in the process) - Crowlomon, in response, uses Raucous Crow once more!
Move Used: [ATTACK] Raucous Crow: Crowlomon lets out a supernaturally loud caw at the foe; striking them with a burst of sonic energy! [1 Turn Cooldown]
Passives Known: [PASSIVE] Caustic: Crowlomon's attacks are acidic in nature; the more they fight someone, the more that any outer armor or defenses are worn away...! Hisato blinked in surprise as the rock sailed into the storm...and actually seemed to piss the bird off. See, he was just as (well, almost as) annoyed as Scarab was at this bird, but he hadn't been expecting a single rock to draw some ire from the avian menace. Scarab heard that crash, and advanced in the direction that the sound came from. "Do you -ever- shut up? It's like you have a thing for your own voice!"
Was he expecting a sonic attack from that direction? No, not really, so it ended up striking him head-on, which exacerbated the prior causticity of the other attack that hit him. It was like his chitin had been eroding with each strike...Troubling. This meant that that attack hurt far more than the last one did. Clenching his teeth, the Wormmon shot another line in the direction that Crowlomon's crow came from, with the intent of having the line of sticky silk grab the bird.
If that worked? He'd yank on the silk. A lot. It'd hopefully drag the bird down and around, or possibly prevent him from taking off. Granted, that's if it even did anything--the storm still was a thing, was it not? Relevant Passives: Sticky… [Passive]: As a Wormmon, Scarab is able to scale objects and the like much easier than a lot of other lifeforms on the planet. On top of a speed bonus of 20%, he has that going for him. Scarab gets hit by Raucous Crow, sustaining more damage and upping the stacks of Caustic on him by 1, which equates to...16% less defense. He fires Worm Tail in Crowlomon's direction in an attempt to keep him occupied.
Worm Tail: Scarab shoots out a line of silk to grab something, be it an object or an opponent. He has enough dexterity in this form to be able to manipulate whatever he grabs, too. One post cooldown.

"Certainly is better than having to listen to than yours!" Crowlomon laughed back, as they disappeared into the storm once more; leaving only the sound of their wing beats - barely audible over the howling winds - to indicate their presence. Though the others' eyes were having trouble with the dust, Crowlomon themself could see just fine; and they could see the wear and tear that was beginning to show on Scarab's chitin, much to the crow digimon's pleasure.
Not so pleasant, though, was the act that would follow; as they were flying around, preparing for another attack... A sudden line of sticky silk would attach itself to their leg! Briefly cawing in surprise, the Crowlomon would initially try to pull away - only to find that they were stuck..! "You're just going to tangle up my feathers, this way..!" They'd complain; though...
... An idea would occur to the bird. Instead of fighting against the thread, Crowlomon would simply turn towards Scarab, and dive towards him; both his talons, and the claws on their wings, readied..! Once in close, they'd rake away at Scarab as they passed in a Fly-By, before using the built-up momentum of the dive to try and snap the silk as their flight curved back upwards..! "Hah! Too easy!"
As this exchange went down, though... The storming winds would begin to die down; visibility returning.
- The silk catches Crowlomon by the leg, and they are unable to break free! - Instead of trying to fight it, though, Crowlomon dives in to strike at Scarab with Fly-By! - Dusty Gale wears off
Move Used: [ATTACK] Fly-By: Crowlomon dives past the enemy; striking at them with their claws and talons as they pass!

That somehow stung a little more than Hisato thought it would, so the youth's first response to Crowlomon deciding to throw some snark at him was to go find another rock. Keep it handy and the like, throw it when the time was correct.
"Good, screw your feathers!" Scarab hissed, before he found that his line didn't really work that well if the opponent decided to fly towards him. All things considered, it was actually a pretty good way to mitigate Worm Tail, and Crowlomon found their Fly-By to strike Scarab, the causticity of the attack making itself known a third time as the worm suffered a claw right to the face, with the silk snapping as Crowlomon flew upwards.
The problem, however...
Was that this actually pissed Scarab off. He pointed his rear upwards and fired more of that razor-sharp silk up to hamper Crowlomon further as the dust storm ended! If that didn't work, then perhaps it was time to take things up a notch. Relevant Passives: Sticky… [Passive]: As a Wormmon, Scarab is able to scale objects and the like much easier than a lot of other lifeforms on the planet. On top of a speed bonus of 20%, he has that going for him. Hisato procures another rock. Just in case. Scarab, on the other hand, suffers another hit from Crowlomon and gets a third stack of Causticity, dropping his defenses by 24%. The damage is really starting to pile onto the worm. He retaliates with Worm Shooter, in an attempt to mess with Crowlomon's ability to fly further!
Worm Shooter: Scarab fires a line of dangerously fine (read: razor sharp, somehow) silk at an enemy. It gathers around very quickly, and genuinely hurts to get rid of because of the razor sharp quality. Two post cooldown.

Without the dust storm to hide within, Crowlomon was a lot easier to aim at - even while the crow digimon was constantly on the move, like this. This would only become further apparent when the razor-sharp silk of Worm Shooter would - more or less - it its mark; the silk catching around the Crowlomon's left shoulder, and part of their wing...! Cutting into the feathers and skin beneath, Crowlomon squawked; allowing their flight to tilt to the side, so as to land onto another tree.
"This... damn silk, I... OW!" The Crowlomon cursed, as they tried to pull away the silk with their opposite claws; only to hurt themselves further. They'd be forced to use their beak and talons to carefully try to cut away the silk, though as they did this; they'd fix Scarab with a sharp glare. "You think you're a smart guy, eh? Just wait til I crack that chitin right off you!" They'd shout with another Raucous Crow, in an attempt to keep Scarab back; continuing to fuss with the silk all the while.
They hoped that, with Scarab's dropping defenses, that they'd be able to finish off the Wormmon quickly; this was becoming more and more of an annoyance to deal with, with their pretty feathers being messed up like this...
- Crowlomon is hit by Worm Shooter, and lands on a tree to try and cut away the silk. - Meanwhile, they use Raucous Crow in an attempt to keep Scarab from taking advantage of this brief lack of mobility.
Move Used: [ATTACK] Raucous Crow: Crowlomon lets out a supernaturally loud caw at the foe; striking them with a burst of sonic energy! [1 Turn Cooldown]

It felt satisfying watching a loudmouthed bird get a little bit of what one can call just desserts, but this...this wasn't exactly enough for Scarab. No, he was well and truly gunning for this nobody criminal's life now. He began to make an advance towards the tree, before the bird fired another one of their sonic waves at him. A little bit more predictable than he had anticipated, so the Wormmon's response? He threw himself to the side to avoid the Crow. The time to quit playing was now, and he had the perfect opportunity to pull out his next trick. The Wormmon crossed his claws as the light of digivolution began to envelop him, and a much taller and much more blue bug rose from the fading visage of the Wormmon. Scarab couldn't act just yet, but he did have something to tell Crowlomon. Something that was very, very specific to -their- next few minutes. "PREPARE TO DIE."This naturally halted the progression of Hisato preparing to chuck a rock at Crowlomon's tree. "...What in the actual..." The teenager found himself muttering.
Relevant Passives: Sticky… [Passive]: As a Wormmon, Scarab is able to scale objects and the like much easier than a lot of other lifeforms on the planet. On top of a speed bonus of 20%, he has that going for him.
Skyrazor [Passive]: Scarab prides himself on how quick on the draw he is, and his capabilities at Stingmon provide plenty to back that pride up. Stingmon gains a 20% increase to his speed and overall reaction time compared to most other Digimon at his level. Chitin [Passive]: On top of this, did you know that Stingmon are an exceptionally durable species of insectoid? Scarab enjoys a 20% increase to his defense against attacks, unless struck by a move that removes passive resistances/immunities.
Scarab manages to dodge Raucuous Crow and avoids gaining another stack of Causticity in the process. He digivolves to Stingmon. And threatens Crowlomon's life. Those stacks are still there, though. Rookie Caustic Stacks: 3 - 24%. Cooldowns: Beamos: 3/3 Worm Shooter: 1/2

The silk was a bit of a pain in the ass to deal with; it was tangling his feathers, and the sharp silk in particular was a literal pain to deal with, too. But, it seemed that messy silk was only the start of their problems. As a Wormmon, Scarab was annoying - but not too hard to handle - in Crowlomon's opinion. Just weaken up the worm's chitin enough, do a well aimed attack, and he'd be out for the count, and then they could KO the annoying tamer, too! But now...?
The crow digimon could only watch, stunned, as the light of Digivolution overtook Scarab's form; the Wormmon being reshaped into a much more taller and fearsome form of a blue Stingmon. And the soundbyte that would rattle out of Scarab? It'd make Crowlomon visibly flinch, as realization crossed their face. "Oh, Jesmon christ..!" They'd exclaim to themself as they took flight; the last of the razor silk having been cut away by then. "You - you're that fucking crazy Stingmon! People thought you up and died fighting some DATS bastards, after you up and disappeared 'round Golden Week...!" Fear was apparent in Crowlomon's tone and expression; they were not about to put themselves up against a Champion anytime soon, let alone that crazy son of a bitch..!
Darting away, Crowlomon would attempt to flee in the direction that Hisato and Scarab came from; looking for whatever ride they must've taken to get to this island in the first place. "Like hell I'm sticking around for this match-up!" If they could just get away, if they could hijack their ride and get out of here, then they'd be safe to lay low for awhile again...!
- Crowlomon takes no action; instead attempting to flee from the fight..!
So NOW the Crowlomon suddenly knew who he was? "You dumb cretin, you wretched moron, you absolute Sovereign damned IMBECILE." Scarab barked in a far less 90s-esque voice. No, Stingmon's true voice was far less meek than an irate Wormmon's. "What the FUCK would a blue Wormmon digivolve into? A BLUE STINGMON."
One could make a joke about how the Crowlomon had picked a fight with the wrong bug, but that'd...be a bit much. Scarab swiftly took off after the Crowlomon while Hisato did...absolutely nothing. He dropped the rock watching how quickly this fight just...changed in nature.
"Bad enough you were talking all that GOOD SHIT just a second ago, now you're just running off like a goddamn mongrel with a broken nose, you disgusting excuse of a chicken!" Scarab shouted as he extended both of his arms forward to fire a multitude of spikes from his wrists.
These wouldn't necessarily be the most accurate thing in the world, all things considered, but they were some pretty nasty projectiles to put into play. Relevant Passives:
Skyrazor [Passive]: Scarab prides himself on how quick on the draw he is, and his capabilities at Stingmon provide plenty to back that pride up. Stingmon gains a 20% increase to his speed and overall reaction time compared to most other Digimon at his level.
Chitin [Passive]: On top of this, did you know that Stingmon are an exceptionally durable species of insectoid? Scarab enjoys a 20% increase to his defense against attacks, unless struck by a move that removes passive resistances/immunities. Scarab pursues Crowlomon and attacks with Moon Shooter. He's not letting them get away.
Moon Shooter: So, you know those spikes on Stingmon's arms? He can fire them. They serve as some rather useful, if not pointy projectiles, and he has an unlimited amount to spare. Scarab can empower this ability further to fire a multitude of spikes, but this adds an additional turn of cooldown, and is also not quite as accurate. One turn cooldown, normally. Two if multiple spikes are fired.
Rookie Caustic Stacks: 3 - 24%
Cooldowns: Worm Shooter: 2/2 Moon Shooter: 0/2

Though the numerous projectiles might've been less accurate, it likely wouldn't be hard for the Champion Scarab to strike the Rookie Crowlomon - even in the latter's hurried fleeing.
And that's just what would happen; a handful of the fired off spikes would slam into Crowlomon from behind, sending them careening back to the ground, and bouncing a couple paces across the ground as they squawked in pain. They didn't waste any time in trying to get back up and keep moving despite the pain and growing injuries, however - fight or flight fueling their escape attempt like no other.
Wings beating to take off once again, Crowlomon briefly looked back over their shoulder at the advancing Stingmon, and would - in a desperate bid to delay Scarab even the slightest bit - let off another Raucous Crow at him as they took wing, continuing to try to escape in the direction that the duo had come from.
It did not take long to find the transport they had taken, as a result; a Tentomon running a ferry, it seemed. Briefly waving one of their wings to get the insect's attention, Crowlomon would call out "H-HEY! GET THAT FERRY STARTED!" Gesturing to their bag with one of their talons, they'd add "THERE'S LOOT IN IT FOR YOU IF YOU GET ME OUT OF HERE IN ONE PIECE; AS MUCH AS YOU WANT FROM MY INFINISTORE..!" Hopefully, if things went well for them, the ferry would be much faster than the irate blue Stingmon on their tail..!
- Crowlomon is struck by Moon Shooter, and is briefly slowed down, on top of becoming decently injured. - Fight or flight continues to fuel their escape attempt, though, as they try to use Raucous Crow to slow Scarab down.
Move Used: [ATTACK] Raucous Crow: Crowlomon lets out a supernaturally loud caw at the foe; striking them with a burst of sonic energy! [1 Turn Cooldown]

Hisato recognized what direction that Crowlomon was heading towards, and it immediately dawned on him why. "...The ferry!" SHIT. He took off in that direction as well, unsure what he could possibly offer in a situation that had practically gone down the gutter such as this one.
Scarab himself would take that Crow right to the face, it not doing as much as it used to in terms of daunting him, though it began to make a scratch at his carapace. "IS THAT YOUR BEST?!" The Stingmon barked as they both drew closer to the ferry, where the Tentomon that brought them here was...visibly sweating, even though bugs don't really do that.
"I could hear you all the way from over there, why would I risk the well being of my ferry over a fight between you and the guy I brought here? Also...Watch your six!" Seems the commotion could be heard from here. To make matters much worse, Scarab attempted a rather ballsy maneuver at that time, diving for Crowlomon armfirst with the intent to stick the bird through with his Spiking Strike. Meanwhile, Hisato was barely starting to catch up with his fragile human legs. How pathetic!
Scarab tanks Raucous Crow and gets a stack of Caustic at this level, but he doesn't take as much damage as he did before. Still hurts, though. He dives for Crowlomon and tries to hit him with Spiking Strike.
Spiking Strike: Scarab closes the hell in on his opponent and attempts to stab them with the spikes upon his wrist, which extend for this attack. This is capable of breaking through any kind of active shield at an equal level to Scarab. Two turn cooldown.
Rookie Caustic Stacks: 3 - 24%
Cooldowns: Moon Shooter: 1/2 Spiking Strike: 0/2
