Thief among the Hills (Open)

Large open hills going seemingly endlessly around the area, it had been a long time since Luna had been back here in this area. Or so she assumed she didn't have an exact measurement on how long she had been gone but the town she passed that wasn't there before did allude to being a long time. She had plans on going back to the area she had gotten destroyed, all the way over in the dark area. How she got all the way to the eastern area was far beyond her understanding.
But those points were moot at the time as she was standing next to two rookie digimon, one being a Terriermon and the other being a Guilmon, both seemingly ready to claw at each other over something as the small moon digimon did everything she could to keep them apart. "I know you stole it just give it back already!" The small green rabbit yelled pushing against the Lunamon's tiny arms to get at the larger dinosaur.
Meanwhile the Guilmon wasn't really kept away by the small digimon, more so it seemed like he was not wanting this fight. "I have no idea what you're talking about, the only thing that's been stolen here is my meal." He complained as he tried lunging a bit at the Terriermon as Luna pushed back with all she could.
Eventually Luna wasn't able to keep them and ended up falling a bit forward as the two digimon tried to attack one another. "THAT'S ENOUGH, Dark Barrier!" she shouted quite loudly for such a small digimon and created a barrier around the three of them, as the two digimon tried to bash into one another the barrier stopped them bouncing them both back and onto the ground. "Will you two stop fighting and listen to me."
Soon enough though the two got up, it was pretty clear by the situation that she had more on her hands then she could deal with as they didn't seem keen on listening to her, she needed help.

Walking through the vast Mainframe Hills, Stacy was enjoying the peace and quiet of this area. That is until a hard to make out argument could be heard a ways from her. Pulling out her D-Tector cause something was giving her an inkling there was trouble. Most likely her spirit was where she got this feeling so she had gotten in more of a habit of listening to her new instincts. 'I guess it's time to see what this fragment can do.' she thought as she began the transformation. "Execute! Human fraction evolution!" Like her rookie form she was engulfed in holy light as the transformation begun. As a wolf howl sounded she burst out of the light as a bipedal digimon with gold claws on her hands and armored boots on her feet. She took in her new appearance and noticed she could pass for a human wearing red armor highlighted with gold flames. She felt her head noticing a helmet shaped like a wolf's head the top half of her face completely covered complete with green lenses in the eye holes. There were fangs the same color as her armor on the upper and lower part of the helmet. The only thing that felt familiar was the lower half of her face. Then she spotted movement and looked behind her spotting a white wolf tail that was no longer frizzy like her rookie form. "Blitzwolfmon!"
It seemed even as Blitzwolfmon she possessed wolf like senses and using those senses she heard the argument more clearly following the sound. Soon she spotted a small rabbit like digimon standing between two others and ran over seeing the little digimon needed help. Reaching out she eased the load by lifting Terriermon by the scruff of his neck and holding him separate from the other two digimon.

Luna had about enough of these two trying to attack one another as she tried keeping them apart, shs swore if she could still transform into Dianamon or if Dust was here this would be a much different time. Though thinking about that made her core ache a bit she doubled down and focused on keeping these two from hurting one another.
However across the distance a bit away her large ears picked up on some noise, something something Blatz oolf on? Even with her hearing she couldn't make it out over these two arguing. Before she could look around the weight on her arm seemed to disappear as the Terriermon was lifted high up by some newcomer, fearing for a moment that this digimon was here to fight she was relieved when it didn't do anything but hold them up. "Ahh, thanks for that friend." smiling at the newcomer she grabbed Guilmon and made him stay. "Let me go weirdo, I gotta make this loser pay for robbing me" the Terriermon struggled against the large digimon to no avail.
"That's what I've been trying to tell you two, I saw the guy who robbed both of you!" Luna shouted, fed up with them appearing, they looked at each other before returning to Lunamon. "Then why didn't you say so earli-"
"I WAS TRYING TO!" she didn't let them finish wagging a finger in front of them, both seemed embarrassed about that. "You can let him down stranger, I don't think they're gonna fight again." Luna asked looking up at the newcomer.

This new form came with a rush of strength and speed that surpassed her rookie form. It was exhilarating and potentially terrifying to most others though. When one of the digimon thanked her, the small rabbit like one not held carefully in her clawed left hand, she said "It's not a problem, little friend. I heard the fighting and when I got here I knew I had to help out."
She gently held the struggling digimon while ignoring being called a weirdo. Soon she learned that someone robbed both digimon that were fighting and when told she could put the digimon she was holding down, she slowly leaned down and placed the digimon on the ground. Though hardly gigantic by human standards being only 5'6, she towered over two of the digimon by comparison.
"You don't need to call me stranger. Call me Blitzwolfmon."

Luna was relieved when the digimon, revealing themselves as Blitzwolfmon was nice enough to let the Terriermon on the ground who crossed his arms letting out a small 'hmph' obviously not feeling like he was in the wrong. "Sorry about that just, my mom will kill me if I don't get that hovercraft back, it was like 10 allowances worth of chores and it got stolen in five minutes." Seemed like the smaller angrier digimon was still young. "Yeah, I'm hungry I need that lunch or imma pass out." Guilmon added, rubbing his stomach.
Luna looked up at Blitzwolfmon, realizing just how tall they were compared to her. "I only called you a stranger cause I didn't know your name silly, also you're really tall. Oh wait no I forgot I'm short again. Nice to meet you Blitzwo- eh that's long mind if I just call ya Blitz? I'm Luna, an Ex Mercenary." after saying that the two others seemed surprised that she said that, she wasn't surprised as her current form didn't scream mercenary.
"But Yeah like I said, I saw a digimon fly past on a hovercraft, stole Guilmon's food and went that way, if you're still feeling in the helping mood, mind helping me get them? I can't exactly fight in this form," Luna asked smiling sweetly at Blitzwolfmon, she didn't want to get Terriermon involved in this seeing as he was young and Guilmon looked like he was just about to pass out.

So at least one of the digimon were young and worried about his mom being mad. Blitzwolfmon grinned as she remembered the drama she could put up as a child. Turning to the Terriermon she said "Take it easy, young one. If your mom loves you I doubt she'll kill you." Then as the Guilmon mentioned food her stomach gurgled in sympathy. It seemed even as a digimon her metabolism was still as demanding as ever.
Yeah. I suppose I'm tall compared to you but there are likely bigger digimon that live even in these parts."
When she heard the digimon refer to herself as Luna and that she was a former mercenary, Blitzwolfmon said "Nice to meet you Luna and yes, Blitz is fine. Come to think of it my rookie form has a long name too. As for tracking the thief down I'd be happy to help." she sniffed the air and continued "It would be easier if this hovercraft had a more distinctive scent though."

The Terriermon still seemed a bit worried but he nodded at Blitz mentioning that fact. "Eh, I know she wouldn't actually kill me. But she would be very disappointed and that's like way worse than death." Luna had to disagree, she did die once before, can't remember how but she knows she did, she'd rather someone be dissapointed for a bit then die. "Don't worry, we'll catch them. This ain't my first time going after a thief after all." it was her second time, also not much but weird it happened twice. All the stomach growling made Luna let out a small laugh. "I'll treat you to dinner after we fix this mess Blitz, promise."
But that mention of tall digimon did remind Luna of a few. "Oh yeah I know, I've seen all kinds. Once fought a digimon about the size of the human world school, well my boyfriend fought I mostly ran support." she remembered that day fondly, well not fondly more like she had to remember because it was the weirdest day she had experienced.
Seemed like Blitz and Luna were on the same page, same team now. "Alright, I'm sure the both of us can catch whoever stole their stuff." Luna assured as Blitz mentioned scent. "Oh, you can track through scent, that helps a lot but how can..." thinking for a moment Luna got a idea. "Right, the food that got stolen, maybe you can follow that scent!"
The Guilmon realized it was his time to shine. "Let's see I was eating meat, more meat. With a side of meat and a meat topping." His mouth seemed to be literally watering thinking about it. "Uhh, yeah a meaty smell should be it."

"Speaking of thieves, this is the third time I've been involved in tracking one down." At the mention of a digimon the size of a school she said "Wow. That's a huge digimon compared to me. At least running support is still important."
When her sense of smell was mentioned she said "Well considering I'm still a little wolf like a strong sense of smell makes sense, I guess. So you said meat was on the cart so let's see if I can catch a scent."
Lifting her head and sniffing the wind for a bit, Blitzwolmon walked around. Suddenly she stopped her tail wagging excitedly. "I smell meat and fortunately it's not far. It seems the thief isn't the best driver."

Wow two thieves tracked down, that was already more experience then Luna had on getting a thief getting. "I've only found two but one of them was a Mega level so anything below that should be easy." forgetting once again she doesn't have the same power she used to. "Yeah I don't feel bad about only being a supporter, I'm more support orientated anyway. But don't worry I can handle myself in a fight, If it comes to that."
They didn't seem to be too far off according to Blitz, but that might've just been where the smell ended. Luna did hope for the former as she added. "Let's hope he crashed or something and knocked himself out, make our job a lot easier." after she said that though the Terriermon and Guilmon behind her looker worried about their stuff. "I mean, in a way that both your stuff is safe, I'm sure it's fine no need to worry!"
So with that Luna was off to catch the thief, going in the completely wrong direction then Blitz pointed, the opposite direction in fact through the Guilmon and Terriermon. Both looked at her confused as she quickly turned back around going the other direction. "I uhh, knew that was uhh just looking over there real quick." trying to cover her severe inability to know where she's going.

She looked at Luna strange as she mentioned tracking a mega level thief but didn't say anything about that and said "Though I'm more of an offensive holy digimon I don't mind being supportive so don't worry about it."
As for Guilmon and Terriermon's stuff, Blitzwolfmon agreed with Luna. She hoped they would find the stuff in good shape too. When Luna took off in the opposite direction of where she indicated, the spirit wielder was very confused though with her mask her it was hard to tell.
'Is there something wrong with her? It's like she has zero sense of direction. I thought I was bad in human form but this is ridiculous.' Blitzwolfmon thought as she watched Luna correct herself and apologize. 'Hoo boy, this could be tricky.' she thought.

"If you're an offensive digimon and I'm a supporter then this works out great, I'll keep you safe and healed and you punch the digimon we need punched." seemed Luna had this all planned now, but for a second she seemed lost in thought about what she just said, an old memory resurfacing as she walked. Shaking her head she focused back on the goal at hand, even speeding up a bit going ahead. "C'mon Let's get a move on."
Though considering Blitz was taller then her they would probably easily catch up after Luma slowed down a bit, remembering she was supposed to be going with her. "So Blitz you mentioned you're a holy digimon? With that armor design I can imagine you use fire also?" Luna questioned before patting the moon symbol on her chest. "If so that's a funny coincidence cause I use the power of Ice and Darkness myself." trying to make conversation in hopes they wouldn't ask about that directions thing.

Blitzwolfmon had no trouble keeping up with Luna considering her long legs which allowed her to walk alongside the little digimon with ease. Occasionally she would sniff the air to make sure the thief hadn't changed travel directions.
When Luna mentioned her armor design she said "Yes I can use fire attacks. Probably makes sense considering my rookie forms name means fire or flame wolf in Japanese. As for you using dark attacks, I can buy that. Considering it gets colder at night, ice attacks make sense too. However I also wouldn't have been surprised if you could use holy moves either considering in some human cultures moon worship wasn't unheard of."

Luna thought about what Blitz said, holy moves were something she could never do. Thinking on it she never tried using any holy abilities but… "Well my healing field abilities might count as holy but I've never really tried using any abilities like that. Would probably be better to just stick with what I know for now." Darkness and Ice just came easier to her, maybe she should try learning something like that later.
"But you seem to know a bit about the human world, have you been there? I've been a few times, have a few friends there also. Also one enemy I can remember." Luna kept looking around as she talked wondering where the thief could be, as she talked through a loud crash could be heard and some voice shouting. "Dangit" bingo.
Rushing over to the source of the voice would show a small Dracmon on his butt with a crashed hoverboard right next to him, the tip was a bit damaged but it didn't seem too worse for wear. "Uhh, bye" he said before rushing off towards the hill, looking up at Blitz, Luna pointed and asked. "Could you please grab him?" after all blitz was probably much faster then Luna.

Had she been to the Human World? An understatement since she was normally a human who was born in that world. Heck even as a digimon she seemed to still carry trace hints of human scent that she noticed when she spirit evolved. "Have I been there? Yeah, you could say that. In reality I am a human in digimon form. You know, a spirit wielder." Blitzwolfmon said wondering how Luna would react.
Suddenly a loud crash and a shout of 'dang it' caught her attention. To be honest she probably would have heard that in human form. Soon arriving on the scene she spotted the damaged hoverboard and the Dracmon laying on his butt. As the digimon sprinted away Luna asked of she could get him.
"Should be easy enough to catch him." Blitzwolfmon said as she sprinted after the Dracmon soon not just catching him but cutting him off by standing in front of him. "Not so fast." she said staring down at him with her arms crossed.

Well this was quite the shock for Luna to say the least, she couldn't remember when she last met a spirit ta- oh wait yeah she could. "Oh, that always trips me up, don't worry about it I'm friends with quite a few humans, I know some of my kind dislike humans here but I don't mind. Luna reassured with a smile, part of her wished Blitz mentioned that before she asked if a human had been to the human world. Yet no time for that as there was a Dracmon to catch.
The small digimon looked back to see Luna with her arms crossed but not moving, this confused the small digimon until he ran into a much larger looking digimon with their arms crossed looking down at the digimon. He would try to run the other way but. Luna had walked up a bit trapping him between a rabbit and wolf. "I uhh, didn't steal that stuff I just uhh found it sitting around."
"We didn't say anything about stealing stuff." Luna pointed out much to the rookies' displeasure. "Ok look I did maybe take the hovercraft and food but I had good reason, there's this group of jerks hassling me a lot. Making me pay for protection and junk from them. I'm out of bits so I can't exactly pay." He pleads seeming sincere and out of options. Part of Luna felt bad hearing that but waited for Blitz to say something, after all Luna was WAY less intimidating then them.
