"Oh... Well I guess there is no reason for us to stay here then." She said before her attention returned to the setting sun, "We should probably try get moving before it get's to dark. Unless either of you believe it would best for us to stay in the city for the night?"
As she waited for what the other's will answer, she thought a bit more on what Ghost had just said. It'd made sense that the Hylden would want an incognito body. Less attention means less effort is required in whatever plans he could possibly have up his sleeve. Yet would Pure really be so distracted or tired at this time that he couldn't fight back? Maybe, but Crystal doubted it. No, he'd be to worried about her enough that he would do anything in his power to save himself.
Now that she thought about it though, she has been feeling weak and tired ever sense they left the forest. Even now, just standing felt like it took some effort for her to do. That's not to mention how hard it's has become to just maintain the form that she's currently in. Could that possibly have something to why Pure isn't able to fight back? No. It's just her being tired and stressed because of what happened. She'd just need to get a good night sleep and she'll be perfectly fine in the morning.

Sanoske pondered over the next plan of action: staying for the night, or at least making some progress before resting. But weighing his options, moving on as soon as possible was the best course of action.
"[We should keep moving. I don't want to waste too much time, and I can carry Crystal for a while so she can rest. And besides... we have little money collectively. I doubt there's anyone who would let us sleep for free.]"
"Alright, then, guys. Glad you didn't ask me because Mistress hardly lets anyone aside from her group access to her bedrooms. Anyway, I gotta put these fliers back. See you in a few!"
Once Ghost ran off, he looked at Crystal. It was starting to get harder to see her without feeling bad for her... tired and contemplative. Her grief passed on to him, causing him emotional pain. But they were one step closer to getting Pure back... to getting Crystal's smile back.
"[You seem deep in thought... please... tell me what's on your mind...]"

Crystal paused for a second as she debated if she should burden Sanoske with her thoughts. "Sanoske... I'm not so sure that Pure being tired or distracted would be the reason why he wouldn't fight back." She told him plainly, "The Pure I know would do anything to ensure my safety, no matter the cost. He'd be willing to even put himself on the line if he thought it was the only way to keep me safe. He's a stupid, selfish, coward in that regard."
She paused for a good few seconds to allow that information to sink in. There was little doubt in her mind that Sanoske would get what she was getting at. That she could possibly be a hostage of sorts. Yet she'd admit there was a good chance that she was just over thinking it. Maybe her guilt ridden mind just wanted to give herself another reason to blame herself.
"Sorry Sanoske. I'm probably just over thinking things. Even if my guess is correct, there is nothing we can do about it now." She told him as she shook her head. She knew she needed to stop wallowing in self-pity. It wasn't going to get her anywhere. And with Ghost agreeing to join them, they're one step closer to saving Pure. So right now she needed to be strong for his sake.

He dwelled on Crystal's words for a moment. Yes, things were starting to make more sense. Chances are the Hylden, cunning he might be, figured out a way to tame his host. "[You think this Hylden is holding you, in essense, hostage? Hmmm... you know... this might be a good thing, Crystal.]"
He stood in front of her to get her full attention. "[Here me out... if this is true, that Pure is not fighting to protect you under his kidnapper's orders... that might give a bit of breathing room! This also means Pure will be kept in relative safety, giving us time to get to him.]"
There was genuine hope in his tone, even if he was growling. Sure this didn't guarantee Pure being saved, but this helped them out nonetheless.
"[He might be a stupid, selfish coward...]" Her words, not his. "[... but this is the smartest thing he has done so far that I've seen.]"

Crystal thought on what Sanoske had just told her. He did have a point that this could prove to give them some much needed time to save Pure, but that didn't help ease Crystal all that much. "I guess you could be right. Still... It doesn't make me feel any less guilty being held over him like that." She admitted to Sanoske as she looked down towards the ground.
"I hate feeling so helpless Sanoske. I hate the fact that I had to go out and find a complete stranger in order to save my own brother. I should be able to protect him as much as he protects me. Yet look at me now. A complete mess who is having difficulty just standing up." She said as she began to feel her legs begin to tremble, "I'm trying my best to be strong for him like I know he's trying to be for me, but I'm afraid I won't be able to. That in the end of all this, I'll be unable to save him."

It seemed as though his words helped Crystal little. Crystal was guilty over being used to make Pure submissive. He saw her tremble, heading towards wits end. Feeling useless in all this. But the Gazimon would not cease in building her up.
"[This was an abnormal event, Crystal. Completely not what we are used to. We needed outside help. Please... don't give up. While we needed Ghost's help, for all we know only you can save him in the end.
Something tells me that, despite Ghost's power, she alone won't save him. Not with this delicate situation. I'm certain that if you remain strong, he'll remain strong. I know that bonds between relatives can lead to... noteworthy capabilities.]"

He was really trying to comfort her. The thought itself was enough to make Crystal smile again, if just for a second. "Thanks Sanoske. You always seem to know what to say to make me feel better somehow." She said as she moved to hug the Gazimon.
"Sanoske, could you possibly do one more thing for me? Please pick me up. I wasn't kidding when I said I was having difficulty just standing." As she said this, her legs finally gave out and she began to collapse again. It was obvious from the look on her face that she was embarrassed about this fact.

Good... Sanoske managed to make Crys smile, even if momentarily. As long as she felt relatively better he was fine. She went in to hug him and almost collapsed onto the ground, too weak to stand. But he caught her quickly into his hands and held her up. She looked embarrassed, but he would nuzzle her gently, again for the sake of comforting her.
"[This whole ordeal has left you drained, Crystal. Stuff like this would stress anyone out. But for now, just take it easy, and dump all your worries and concerns onto me. You need your rest.]"
He held her close to his chest, but silently mused on the loom on her face. It seemed... a bit cute.

Crystal blushed as Sanoske nuzzled her. She was admittedly a bit surprised that Sanoske even did such a thing. It seemed pretty out of character for him. That wasn't to say she didn't like it though. Quite the opposite in fact.
"Thank you Sanoske. I'll try to get some rest." She told him as he held her close to his chest, "Though I wouldn't mind having something to eat too." She added under her breath, not wanting Sanoske to hear. She didn't want to add to his burdens, not when he had done so much for her already.
((Yeah, that's fine. You can end the thread with your next post if you want. Though I now feel like an idiot for not thinking about what Crystal's eating habits would become during this little escapade until now, or even the fact that neither of them have probably eaten at all since Pure disappeared.))

Sanoske sighed contently, having soothed Crystals mind. He briefly thought on the fact that, as of late, his main goal was to comfort her. She needed it, yes, but he was getting used to the fact that he cared about her. And how warm she felt when he hugged her (as his body temperature was, being what he was, lower than one would imagine).
She made a mention of wanting something to eat under a mutter. Sanoske chuckled. "[My ears may not be as good as yours, but I certainly heard that. Don't worry, I'll make sure you've had something to eat...]" Hopefully, he won't have to steal anything this time.
But, for now, he would wait for Ghost to return. Yes, things were looking up.
(((Don't worry about it, I'm assuming they would have ate something. At the very least, Sanoske would have. If he didn't he'd be in the same physical condition Crystal is. Plus possible seizures.
In any case, thread end.)))
