Why is this my first reaction, why was my first idea just to jump in front of a fireball like an idiot, that was about the level of thoughts going through Shi's head as he stood in front of the other humans. If there was even a chance for them to survive if Shi took the blow he'd hafta risk it. Luckily for him he didn't have to risk it as a orange energy from behind him suddenly shot forward, dispelling the fireball just before it hit him, also knocking his hat off his head causing it to fly off a bit and hit the ground nearby. Shi turned around with a bit of obvious confusion on his face, then he realized what it was. "Wait, isn't that the..." Shi recognized it from his time at DATS, it was something called Digi-soul. Shi however had only ever used it to augment their power with his old DATS digivice, not for long but still. He didn't know it could do something like that.
After Kaya's speech Shi slowly took a few steps away from them, deciding it would be best to let them have this moment to themselves, however Yuudai couldn't pick up on this and shouted. "Woo! Go you two. You got this!" Yuudai shouted excitedly as he rushed over nearby, Yasuo was still stunned from using all that energy but he could muster up a weak thumbs up in response. Yuudai was close by as Garudamon came into full view. "Let's do it, with the three of use there's no way this Bozo can win!" As Yuudai said this he let out his own Powerful Roar that would inspire and power up the three of them to hit a lot harder before smiling and lowering his head ready to go.
Shi simply raised his hand still not noticing his hat was missing before pointing it at the BurningGreymon. "The three of us will take this home, Hawkeye, Kaya. You're up, show him what you're made of." Shi said giving them the first attack, mostly cause Yasuo was still stunned. BurningGreymon let out their own roar to match Yuudai's, increasing his own strength as he readied himself for what comes next.

Where once stood a fairly nice, if overconfident young girl now stood a person you did not wanna mess with as the DigiSoul still emanated from Kaya, albeit not nearly as much as before. And now that Hawkeye was a Garudamon, he looked way more powerful than he did before. Mari looked up at her sister and the big bird man in awe...
"Kaya..."
Meanwhile, Kaya and Hawkeye were both still glaring at BurningGreymon. With Yuudai and Yasuo once again joining him, they invited the Garudamon to take the first shot at the flaming jerk. His eyes narrowed as he grabbed not one, not two, but MULTIPLE arrows from his quiver, charging them all up with bright green energy before unleashing them one by one in BurningGreymon's general area, making them pretty difficult to dodge. "Arrow Barrage!!!"
While this happened, Kaya was completely focused on making sure that Hawkeye has the energy to take this cruel Digimon down. She would indeed respond if spoken to, but right now that was not her priority right now, and that gave the girl a much different vibe than the one she had before...
Hawkeye fires an "Arrow Barrage" at BurningGreymon.
Moves
Arrow Barrage: Hawkeye goes into a frenzy, shooting a group of Energy Arrows in a single area. Cooldown is three posts. Diameter of 50 meters.
Passives
Deadshot (Combat Passive): Hawkeye's aim is far superior to most Digimon. Each attack has its accuracy increase by 30%, making it more likely that his attack will hit its target.

Well this was taking quite the turn for them, now it was three on one and the digimon seemed to know that very well. Standing in front of them he didn't seem like he was gonna back down and stood up straight looking at the three of them, as if daring them to give him their best shot. Which Shi was more then happy to do. "Yuudai, Yasuo. Lets finish this." Shi pointing outwards towards the opponent. "Everything you got, let it loose." The BurningGreymon tried to get out of the way of the Arrow Barrage but Yuudai had slipped by going right next to the Digimon with a smile on his face. "Sorry, don't want the guest of honor to be late for his beatdown." With that Yuudai tackled into the digimon knocking him back into firing range.
Yasuo alongside Hawkeye had switched his revolver back into the scattershot mode holding it skyward before aiming it right at the Digimon. "Scattershot mode, FIRE!" And so a barrage of arrows and bullets swarmed the BurningGreymon, getting hit from nearly every angle even his toughness wasn't enough considering the damage Yuudai and Yasuo did before, eventually near the end of the volley the digimon slowly sank to his knees and collapsed to the ground. Yasuo aimed his weapon up, stopping it and Yuudai stopped as well looking at the enemy closely wondering if it was going to get up.
As he fell though Shi noticed something fall forward from the digimon, hitting the ground nearby. As Shi went to walk over to the device the BurningGreymon became engulfed in Data for a moment, not the way Shi normally knew about but like lines of code surrounding them, after a few moment they disappeared leaving behind...
It was a kid, laying on the ground was a young looking kid. Even from a distance Shi could see he didn't seem much older then Kaya. With a Green hoodie and blond hair sticking up he laid there not moving, however his chest raised and fell showing he was alive. the device in front of him was one Shi very much recognized. A red D-tector with a black grip. "What the?" Shi stood for a few minutes, taken aback about the whole situation.

The battle was now truly on. Now as a Garudamon, Hawkeye fired an Arrow Barrage attack right towards the BurningGreymon. It attempted to dodge but unfortunately Yuudai had slipped right to the side of him to push him back into the line of fire, causing every single energy arrow to hit BurningGreymon dead on. Not only that, but beside Hawkeye, Yasuo had fired a scattershot bullet attack in BurningGreymon's direction, so he was hit with both energy arrows and energy bullets.
But Hawkeye was not yet done. Once the attacks were done colliding, he flew up to BurningGreymon as the flaming attacker fell to his knees. When he was above the BurningGreymon, he raised his bow high up before slamming it down onto BurningGreymon's head like a melee weapon, definitely causing him to be knocked out afterwards.
Something happened afterwards, though. Something had dropped from the BurningGreymon, which Shi had picked up. But then the Digimon became engulfed in data, and when the data disappeared so did the Digimon. In his place was a human kid, probably not much older than Kaya herself. It suddenly clicked in both Kaya and Hawkeye's heads upon seeing this...
"It was a Spirit User..."
After that revelation, the DigiSoul stopped emanating from Kaya as she fell to her knees, and Hawkeye had begun to devolve, not back to a Hawkmon, but all the way down to his in-training form Poromon before collapsing as well.
"Why would he do such a thing...?"

Shi quickly regained his composure pulling his hat down slightly before walking over to the kid, getting on one knee next to him Shi shook the kid lightly, yup he was out cold. There were a few cuts and bruises on him but nothing life threatening. Hearing Kaya ask why he would do this Shi simply shook his head looking at the D-tector in his hand. "I don't think he was, some spirits have a will of their own. He might've not been able to control the spirit and it made him go wild. Attacking anything and everything nearby." Shi turned back to look at the kid which prompted Yuudai who degenerated back to his Rookie form to continue. "An old spirit tamer friend of ours had a problem like that, the spirit tried to take his body completely over before. Almost did too." Yasuo hopped next to his brother and continued. "Yeah, if we weren't there. I can't imagine what would've happened to them. Probably something similar to this."
Shi slowly picked the unconscious kid up before turning to Kaya. "Don't feel bad or anything. I'm sure he'd appreciate the fact that we stopped him before he hurt anyone too badly." Shi tried to make sure Kaya wouldn't be upset about hurting a fellow human, Shi knew he didn't want to when he had to either. "Either way we should head back, I'll take the kid to the hospital. Tell them me and Mirai found him while heading home."
Yuudai simply stretched outward with a small yawn. "Man all this fighting's making me sleepy, gonna take a long nap when I get home." Yasuo let out a soft laugh at his brother. "You mean just like you do all day." Yuudai didn't object and just smiled. "Yup, I do enjoy my naps."

Kaya swallowed as she attempted to stand up, her throat dryer than sandpaper at this point. So the BurningGreymon was a Spirit User, and the human wasn't able to control the spirit and they went wild. "Hawkeye and I haven't really met a Spirit User before. I've heard about them, but... to actually meet one... and it was when their spirit took over... I guess I'm just glad that no one was hurt too badly."
"Is this what you do, Kaya?" Mari asked, handing Kaya her hat back. "You and... Hawkeye come to this place to fight monsters?"
"Well... these monsters aren't all bad, so we don't fight them all," Kaya explained, accepting the hat and putting it back on her head. "Like Hawkeye here, or the two little dinosaurs over there... they're nice Digimon. And there are even more nice Digimon out here in this world. I would offer to take you here more, but after today, I... I just don't know."
Mari would look at the various people here - Kaya, Hawkeye, Shi, Yuudai and Yasuo, the young Spirit User, and Mirai - before looking back to her own sister. "I don't really wanna come back here anyways. Is Hawkeye gonna live with us?"
"Yeah he is, but he has to stay hidden," Kaya said as she picked up the little Poromon, "No one else can be allowed to know he exists, alright?"
Shi would then pick up the young boy's unconscious body, saying that he would take him down to the hospital. "I can't thank you enough for helping us, Shi. Maybe we should schedule another playdate for Mari and Mirai, minus all the craziness here. Look us up on Tamernet if you ever need our help."
"Bye, Mirai," Mari would yell as she waved to her classmate before Kaya once again opened up a Digiport. The two sisters would then walk through before the portal disappeared. Maybe one day, Kaya and Shi would meet up again in the future?

Shi watched Kaya explain to her sister just what this place was, he could feel eyes on him as he turned to his own little sister. Am I gonna hafta keep this a secret from mom and dad?" She asked looking at the twins, Shi stood there for a moment thinking before letting out a soft sigh. "I, I don't know. I haven't decided." he was lost in thought for a few moments, thinking on what his next move would be. One thing was for sure though, if they hadn't found them this fast Shi would have no excuse to tell anyone... Maybe this experience was an eye opener for him.
Shi snapped back to focusing on Kaya as she mentioned another P;aydate their sisters. "Yes, hopefully next time won't be during one of her dentist appointments." Shi mentioned looking at his sister. "Wait, THAT'S TODAY? No, please I'll fight more monsters just don't make me go brother." She pleaded but Shi simply scoffed shaking his head. "I keep telling you just brush your teeth and you won't need to be so scared every time." Yuudai chimed in with a smile. "Ohh, someone's gonna be in trouble huh." Yasuo joined with his back to his brothers in a similar singsong like voice. "And make it double with the playdate fiasco." The little kid looked like they were about to face the end of the world, she was less scared when they were being chased by the large plant.
"Look us up too if you need our help again, like I said Tamers should help each other. Should be easy I think I'm the only one on there with the username Shi." Yuudai once again had to vocalize his points. "Cause you couldn't think of anything else." Yasuo let out a small laugh before responding. "Yeah sure, mr YasuoNamika." Yuudai just shrugged. "Hey, how else will they know we're his bros, bro?"
"Cya later Mari." She said slowly backing up away from the trio, but Yuudai was already behind her. "Sorry, no more running. Time for a fun trip to the dentist for you." A loud no echoed through the jungle as Shi and the twins slowly dragged Mirai to her doom of about three cavities.
