More bloody partrols.
It was always those that she ran into the strangest problems; here of all places she had found that the mons here were forced to be rookie for some reason. There hadn’t been any reports of control towers to her knowledge so what gave? She’d grit her teeth and pull herself up over a ledge and peer around.
Most of the time in dragon valley they’d find an abundance of draconic digimon that wanted nothing else to fight or prove their strength. But with everyone being locked to rookie or even lesser if they didn’t have one for some ungodly reason… It created an imbalance. One that she wasn’t sure how many would address.
So the renamon shifted and slid down the ledge that she had spent quite a bit of time climbing. She needed to go deeper into the area she felt; where the solution would no doubt meet her. If it was a mon that was doing this she was going to have her work cut out for her or if it was a tower that had been msised well…
She doubted that she could handle a champion all on her own; unless it didn’t have a guardian and was just around waiting for one. She hoped that wasn’t the case because if so she’d end up finding one of those rings around her arm or neck.
She’d squint up at the sky and consider the amount of time it had taken her to get to where she was thus far; the sun was high in the sky and there wasn’t a cloud in sight. Which was good for her since that meant that anyone out here would easily notice her and probably steer clear. Given that any intelligent mon could see the knight uniform she was wearing…
While anything feral would note that she walked with a certain strength of spirit. Or perhaps they wouldn’t care; if that was the case she was ready for a fight either way. She’d run a hand over the metal on her arm and stop once she was done sliding down the slope that came from that ‘ledge’.
”Still nothing?”
She’d mumble to herself and stride forward, growing a bit apprehensive over her inability to find the source of what was causing all of this. Maybe it was just a natural occurrence?
Yeah right.
She found herself snorting at that line of thought and put a hand on her hip, surveying the area as she went. Nothing but crags and scared eyes staring out of the few caves she passed. Something that was predatorial was clearly around here… So she wouldn’t let her guard waiver. Not in some place that was so deadly to normal travelers!
