The Mainframe hills. A place known for being relatively peaceful and with the sight of the Server Woods nearby as well as the many hills it seemed a good place for many to rest. Mandrake and Lothar had come here shortly after getting off a Trailmon after sleeping on the digimon. After last's nights run in with aggressive digimon trying to capture them both were eager for some less life threatening time together. Hopping alongside the pair their son LJ was being his normal energetic self. The purple Punimon was making happy squeaks as he bounced in circles around his parents. Despite being woken up during the previous night's problems, the boy was content as if the previous night's events didn't happen.
Soon they family came up to a lake and Mandrake and Lothar sat down near a tree near the lake while LJ playfully hopped around near them. Mandrake set his staff next to him as he and Lothar watched LJ play. This continued on for awhile until LJ began fussing and bounced over to his parents. "P-Puni, Puni." LJ whimpered.
"It seems LJ is getting hungry. I'll go find some food for us." Lothar said to Mandrake as he lifted LJ carefully with one hand before placing the purple Punimon in Mandrake's lap. He then stood up and headed into the nearby Server Woods to locate some food.
"I guess it's just you and me for the time being, LJ." Mandrake said as he gently patted LJ's head. LJ's was still fussing but it was much quieter.

A few minutes later Mandrake looked down again at LJ and chuckled. Despite having not left Mandrake's lap the tiny digimon seemed to have found a way to get the corner of Mandrake's cape in his mouth and had begun chewing on it. LJ's crying was silent now that his mouth was occupied. Before Mandrake could say anything he felt the presence of someone nearby with his telepathy and it seemed to be a lone human. While not unusual, it didn't mean there wasn't any potential danger since humans and digimon alike were capable of the same evils.
Reaching over and grabbing his staff while setting his son in his free hand, he stood up with LJ somehow not letting go of the corner of his cape before he gazed into the direction of the nearby presence. "I know you're out there show yourself!" Mandrake called out in a commanding tone.
