"Maybe it is a coincidence depending on where in the United States your dad's partner came from. I was from Washington before I came to Japan." Stacy said in response to Gaz's statement regarding where her father's partner was from.
When asked where in the laptop the digivice came from, Stacy knew she could answer that easily enough as she said "The digivice came out of the screen of my laptop late one night when I was having trouble sleeping." Then Gaz mentioned the average age humans with some kind of connection to digimon were and she said "Yeah I am older than the average human who comes to the Digital World. I'm still wondering why I became one of the chosen ones."
When Gaz excitedly asked if she could see her digivolve, Stacy rose from the bench she was sitting on and said "I don't see why not." Next fractal code appeared around her right hand as she dug her D-Tector out of her left pocket holding it in her left hand. Then she swiped her right hand over the top of it and said "Execute! Beast Spirit Evolution!" She became wrapped in a warm comforting light as she began her transformation growing in size. Then a wolf howl was heard before the light faded revealing a ten foot tall three headed shining white wolf before she then said "LupineCerberusmon!"

Gaz blinked at the information about the human world that was given to her. “Uh… Uncle Luke?”
“Washington is one of the states of the USA.” Luke explained quickly. “It’s one of the West Coast states with the Pacific Ocean, which is across from Japan.”
“Ohh, okay, I get it.” Gaz said, nodding with understanding. She then listened to Stacy’s explanation of how she got her digivice, which appeared to suddenly emerge from her laptop one night. “How exactly was that? Did it just… emerge from the screen? Or did it eject from the DVD drive? Either way, this does indeed line up with stories I’ve heard from other humans about how they came across their digivices – usually in proximity to one of their computers. One day we may solve this case altogether, but for the moment, I feel humbled to have been able to speak to such a “chosen” human.”
Gaz, Bellamy and Luke eagerly watched as Stacy demonstrated her ability to Spirit Evolve. Some of the effects were a little difficult on the recording equipment, but the footage they took was undisputable evidence of a spirit evolution.
“Whew, that was intense!” Gaz remarked, patting down the fur on her back that had been raised in reaction to the intensity of the evolution. “We have it on film, folks, spirit evolutions are real and there are humans among us who wield these spirits and wanna do well to this world, so always keep that in mind when you meet a human like this.”
Gaz turned to Stacy with one last smile, indicating for Luke and Bellamy to cut the footage. “Thanks so much for this interview, Stacy, I’d be glad for you to give me some details so I can check that what’s put to air is alright with you.”
Once that was done, Gaz, her father and her uncle would proceed forward throughout Terminus City, looking for others to interview.

"I'm sure it was definitely the screen since I had left it open after turning it off since I had forgotten to. I guess if the laptop was folded it would of likely came from the DVD drive or something. Who knows?" Stacy said as Gaz. "Makes me wonder sometimes how the people who get digivices are "chosen" and it seems I'm older than the average digivice owner."
As for her transformation into LupineCerberusmon, Gaz seemed impressed by it. To be honest she herself was amazed she was capable of becoming such incredible creatures. As she dedigivolved back to her human state Stacy caught Gaz's smile as she was asked about the details of the interview and asked if what was put to air was alright. "I'm okay with everything I said in the interview being aired."
Soon the family of digimon continued their way through Terminus so maybe they were looking for others to interview. With a place as big as Terminus there were likely plenty such opportunities.
