Today was super-interesting, at least in Eika's book!
First off, she found Mamoru out by the river and hatched his egg (accidentally) once she got back from home. Then she was able to find information about Digimon through another tamer, and now she was able to show off what she got to Mamoru! He was probably waiting on the edge of his seat for what Eika would be able to scrounge up!
"Mamoru, I'm ho～ome!" she sang out when she entered. "Hey, I found another tamer! Mamoruuuuuu!"
"I hear you, I hear you!" came a voice from somewhere else in the house, and only a few seconds passed between Mamoru's call and his coming into view, bouncing into sight. He spotted Duffer and narrowed his eyes. "What did you bring someone else in here for?"
"Huh?" Eika paused. "Uh, didn't I say I was gonna go out to―"
"I was under the impression that you were out to perform errands, not run off and get some other person we don't know the intentions of and invite them right into your house," Mamoru snapped, then paused. "...Hmm, apologies for phrasing it so harshly, but you get what I mean―you can't just go out trusting everybody off the bat."
"O-oh... um... okay. S-sorry." She bowed in apology, then uprighted herself. "Um... Mamoru, this is Duffer." <Duffer, Mamoru.> "Um... Duffer doesn't know Japanese very well, s-so please treat him well, and I guess if you don't know English then I can try to translate..."
"We'll see about that." The Koromon, clearly in a bad mood, eyed Duffer suspiciously.

The day was going good for Duffer as well. He'd met Eika and became friends over their accidental ownership of Digimon, even though Kapurimon had eaten his lunch. <Hello tiny one...> He began, but before he could continue, his digimon (the aforementioned Kapurimon) bounded off of him and next to Mamoru. "Heya there buddy!" The steel-capped mon said, happy to finally meet someone who didn't tower over him/her/it. "You got all the luck! Your human's great... she even smells better than mine!" Rubbing his head, Duffer sighed and sat down, reaching down to offer his hand to the creature. <Hello... I am Fred Duffy. Called Duffer some. You Mamoru, yes, no?> Kapurimon rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah yeah, this is my human, but you probably wanna meet me, huh? Never met a digimon with their own name, but my human's probably not as smart as yours..." He turned to look at Eika. <You and I have small control of Digimon. Almost they control us.>
<Yes... eheheh...> She hoped it wasn't too readily apparent that her mood was dampened by Mamoru scolding her. It would be terrible if she worried anybody else―especially over something as petty as her mood. But then again, she knew she wore her heart on her sleeve, so maybe it was more or less inevitable...
She had thought earlier that it was honestly surprising with how Mamoru was able to stop her from worrying, and he did it again this time by hissing at Kapurimon and attempting to bite down hard.
"M-MAMORU!!" she yelped, quickly smacking the top of his head to make him let go and scooping him up when he finally did. "A-ahahah Mamoru don't try to fight Kapurimon for the love of all that is sacred and holy on the planet!!"
"Then the Kapurimon ought to learn how to get a sense of personal space!" Mamoru attempted to wriggle out of Eika's arms, but she managed to hold him away. "E-eheheh s-sorry guys!!" she quickly apologized, a little too caught up in Mamoru's struggling to translate it properly to English.

Duffer picked up Kapurimon, pulling them away. <Maybe this wasn't such a good idea...> He mumbled, petting his Digimon. <Your digimon tried to eat mine... I think insulted me, did not even listen to what say... maybe am better tamer after all...> He chuckled, trying to cope with the fact this new digimon terrified him.
As he backed away slowly, his D-3 fell off of his bag, landing before Koromon. Oddly enough, the smudged screen had a beeping dot that pointed directly towards the aggressive creature. The room was silent as his smudged, stained, and marked digivice lay before it. <C-could you get that?> He asked, not hiding his lack of compassion for the thing that would probably kill him if it wanted to.
<U-uhh... s-sorry! Think n-no...> she tried, trying to keep Mamoru from wriggling free and possibly hurting the tamer as well. She didn't know any better words to elongate her apology, as much as she really should. She doubted he'd even understand her apology, to be honest. She hated this language barrier and she doubted she could even fix the issue now.
However, it came to pass that the boy's Digivice fell out of his bag and right in front of Mamoru, whom Eika was still trying to keep steady. The Koromon stopped struggling to eye the slightly-dirty device, and Eika realized quickly what Mamoru was about to do.
"Uh―Mamoru, stay still!" She tried reaching out to grab the D-3, but Mamoru was both sharp and quick, and leapt out of her arms to land on the D-3 and bit down on it.
"Mamoru, let go!" Eika tried wresting the device from her Digimon, but the Koromon refused to let go. "You need to learn how to stop being so trusting!" Mamoru growled through the Digivice in his teeth. "You're going to just hurt yourself otherwise!"
Okay, now Eika was getting mad.
She yanked hard on the device and smacked Mamoru's head enough that he yelped out in pain. He was quick to recover, but just as he was about to bite down again, Eika shoved her fist into his closing mouth and pulled her wrist upwards to force her Digimon's mouth open like a lever.
Mamoru paused, realizing only then that he had actually bit his tamer―the person he owed the most to, who had taken him out from the river and into safety―and Eika pulled the D-3 out from Mamoru's mouth, wiping the saliva off on her sweater and holding the device out for Duffer to take.
Mamoru let go of Eika's hand, and she pulled her fist out frmo his mouth, looking over the now-bleeding wound her Digimon inflicted upon her―it actually looked somewhat mangled, but she didn't seem to mind terribly as she stood, looking Duffer in the eye before going into the kitchen to wash out her wound. <Sorry,> she repeated in a much more angered tone. <Now I Mamoru talk.>

Duffer was silent as he watched the scene unravel, gasping as the mon bit her. <I...> He took the D-3, trying to wipe off the new saliva and blood-stains that covered the device. Kapurimon was as silent as his tamer, confused and disturbed by this series of events. "Maybe we should leave?" It suggested, his tamer backing away from the strange creature. "This is just like that movie where this woman lured people to her attic to murder them... and then she fed the bodies to her crazy undead lover." He shuddered, imagining that tiny thing eating him alive. "I'd never let her!" Kapurimon insisted, leaping out of his tamer's arms to bounce to Mamoru. "How dare you!" Thankfully for everyone involved, Duffer was able to grab his tail in time and pull him away. "No, I think we should just return home..." He said, backing away slowly to try and get to the front door.
Eika left to the kitchen to turn the faucet on and put her wrist under the water. The very first time Mamoru tried acting up, it was to give her the impression of―oh, she didn't even know, a maniac? Some crazy woman who would grow up to be some abusive head of an orphanage? She didn't even think orphanages were like that anymore, but who knows?
She took a second to realize that she just left Mamoru unattended with the other two and went over to the door, noticing the two visitors edging for the door. She paused, then let out a sigh. <Sorry. Bye.> With that, she scooped Mamoru up in her good arm and moved him over to the kitchen to continue to wash her wound.
Rai had stopped outside a house where his 'digivice' had started beeping with a radar app or something showing two blips. "DIGIMON DETECTED" his device droned. He kept looking back and forth from the closed door and the digivice in his hand. "I wonder... should I knock?" he asked himself. looking over his shoulder at his backpack, "What do you think little guy?". Kuramon quietly snored in Rai's backpack, "I'll take that as a yes."
Rai looked at the door and shrugged, ready to raise his hand and knock the door.
(ending post just before knocking. And I am also sorry for the short post)

As he was about to open the door, he peered the guy through the window. "Holy Crap!" He said, panicking and rushing into the kitchen, stopping short of knocking over his new friend. <There's guy at door! If sees us together he'll know something's upwards!> Kapurimon tried to climb out of his tamer's grip. "So? We can take 'em. He's just one guy." "So? SO?! We're two teenagers in her house with two talking, severed animal heads. No adults are present, and she's bleeding. Think of one scenario where this would be a good thing to walk in on?" Kapurimon rolled his eyes. "Tell the truth then..." "We can't tell the truth! I've seen the movies, you show ANYTHING weird people panic, we end up in government labs, and we'll only escape by some miracle or by killing everyone." "Then we kill him and take his data." Kapurimon smiled, as if what he just said wasn't something completely terrible.
Eika went into the kitchen and set Mamoru down on the counter to continue to wash her wound. Goodness, it hurt―was this thing going to leave a scar? That'd just be scary. She was mad at Mamoru for being so belligerent, but for him to have that reminder really was too much, wasn't it? It would just be too much punishment, even for what he did to K
AAAAAH THE DOOR'S KNOCKING
Eika turned the faucet off and quickly dashed to check the (still-closed) door. "A-aahhh why do we have visitors?!" she nearly shouted, then dashed back into the kitchen to scoop up Mamoru. "Hey come on needa hide!!" She darted through the house with the confused Digimon in her arms, nearly falling on her rear as she managed to skid into her room to throw Mamoru at a pillow. "YOU HIDE DON'T COME OUT TIL I SAY IT'S OKAY!!"
"HAHAHAHA NIGHTY NIGHT TAKE A FREAKIN' NAP!!" Eika slammed the door to her room, making a very audible noise in the house, then dashed back to the other two. <SEE NO DO!! GO!> she yelled, trying to pick Kapurimon up to cram into his arms and shove him elsewhere into the house, hopefully before the someone behind the door got concerned enough by all the yelling to try to open the door on their own time.
If Duffer allowed himself to be shoved off into another part of the house or chose to make himself scarce himself, Eika would throw open the door, clearly in a bit of a panic. "Ahahaha hiiiii!!"
Looked startled by the slightly manic and forced greeting, holding his digivice in plain sight. "Um, yes hello!" he managed. "My digivi--ehh..." he trailed off suddenly unsure. "..um, my... do you have one of these?" he finally asked holding his digivice forward, the screen still showing the alert -DIGIMON DETECTED- "Maybe it came with a... friend?" he asked awkwardly.
He wasn't exactly a social person, but he was curious of all these things and he was making an attempt. Kuramon was snoring softly in his backpack as he gave the girl the once-over. "Is there something wrong? I heard shouting." he spoke softly with a mixture of bluntness and slight concern as he tried to peer past her, into the house. "Oh! Err, Right! My name's Rai. I err... Well this thing kinda pointed me here." He confessed with a sheepish smile. He was definitely feeling more than a little awkward. He was at the door of an absolute stranger, asking about... digimon and things... and not doing a snazzy job of it either-- not in his opinion anyway.

Duffer had hidden himself in a closet in the living room, keeping Kapurimon close to his chest and his mouth shut as he tried to think of a way to get through this. Blinking, he noticed his Digivice had something on it. While before it had one dot for the Koromon it now had two different ones. He assumed one belonged to the koromon but the other puzzled him. Kapurimon took this moment of his tamer's confusion to explore the room, leaping out of his grasp and approaching a series of objects including forgotten birthday presents, unused board games, old romance novels, boxes that contained Halloween decorations, a sprung mouse trap, and much more.
The tamer, noticing his partner left, carefully wandered after him, mumbling about how absolutely massive this closet was, and praying that there wasn't a crawl-space he'd have to chase his companion into.
"Huh?" She looked at the boy's D-3 and looked back to him. He had a Digivice too, it looked like―and it came to no question what those two dots on the interface were supposed to show. There was another tamer present―so much for these Digivices being supposedly "mythical".
"Uh... y-yeah..." She paused, looking behind her and then back, holding one of her arms in one hand, revealing the bite wound Mamoru gave her just a minute or less prior. "Y-yeah, I have one of those." She went into her pocket, letting go of her arm, to pull her Digivice out. "Um... w-well, i-if you wanna come in, then that's fine, um." She went to move out of the doorway so that he could come in if he pleased.
"Uh..." She paused. <Duffer, come! Digimon have!> She took a few steps into her house and glanced back at Rai. "Um, my name's Eika Nakamura. It's a pleasure to meet you―the other guy here is Duffer and he only seems to speak English with some small amounts of Japanese... I've only been really talking to him in butchered English myself, so if you know any English, um..."
She glanced back to the house's interior, then back to Rai. "W-well, come on in if you'd like. My partner's been a bit... um, violent, so I've left him in my room. I hope you don't mind too badly."
Rai hesitiated when he was invited in the first time. She introduced herself As Eika Nakamura and he decided to volunteer his last name as well. "Err, Ryuichi," he offered. "Rai Ryuichi. Its... nice to meet you Eika." he said sincerely albeit with a slight hesitation. He didn't seem comfortable speaking to people. "Duffer eh? I'm afraid I don't speak english at all. But I have a translator on my phone!" he pulled out a chrome smartphone. "I guess I can use that maybe?"
As he was invited in for the second time, the desire not to be rude in this situation as well a bit of curiosity a drove him to respond. "Oh, um, sure. Yes thank you." he bowed before stepping inside.
His eyes darted to her hand. "Violent huh? Are... is your hand okay?" he inquired with that same mix of genuine concern and curiosity despite it.
He heard some noises coming from else where in the house but was more focused on Eika's hand...

"Get out of there!" Came Duffer's voice as he tried to pull Kapurimon out of a pile of boxes. "We're guests! We're not even supposed to be here!" He was tugging on his partner's helmet, the tiny mon having a surprisingly good grip on the floor, despite having noting resembling limbs. After a few moments, the two fell out from the door, breaking the lock on it. "Ooooooow!" He said, Kapurimon climbing atop his partner's chest. "I was chasing things when you interrupted so rudely..." He said, having worn a helmet and gotten around that injury. "Besides, you already know I'm the smarter of us, maybe you should listen to me!" "Why do you do this every time we meet someone new?" "It's called "Characterization". How'll they know who's really the boss of you without me showing 'em?" He pounded over to the new human. "Hey there! Wanna fight? Wanna tussle? Wanna tug-a-war?" He asked, smiling.
