Airi had just gotten gotten out of school where she saw a horrifying sight. At first, she turned her head and quickly walked the other way, hoping that maybe, just maybe, if she ignored it long enough it would go away. But there was no such luck. The loud roar of the engine grew louder and louder behind her, until the large vehicle pulled up besides her, letting out a loud hiss as it came to a full stop. The door on the side of the large vehicle folded open, revealing a black-garbed humanoid figure with silver eyes and matching hair. For a brief instant, there was a smug expression on her face as she gazed back at Airi's horrified face, but it quickly turned into a friendly smile. "Why hello there, dear child! I've come to save you a train ride back home!" "Sable... What the f-" She had to stop herself. She couldn't start cursing right here. Not so close to school grounds. "Wh-what are you doing here? And wh-what exactly are you driving!?" "Oh, this old thing?" She responded nonchalantly, sliding her hands across the large steering wheel. "I came into some money recently, so I purchased this rather large vehicle to help us get around in... other places!" She gave Airi a fox's smile as she knew she didn't answer any of the little girl's questions. "But... but why does it look like... like this!?" She pointed to the large, box-shaped vehicle. It wasn't too long, but it was yellow with many windows, and good number of seats inside for each window. It had one emergency exit on its rear end, and a single folding door on the passenger side. "What do you mean, my dear?" Sable asked innocently. "You're my dear child, after all, so it's only natural that I obtained a vehicle befitting of your stature!" Airi blinked incredulously for a minute. Did... did Sable seriously just buy an entire fucking school bus just to mock her!? And this was Japan! School buses were barely a thing! Even a first-grader could take the fucking train! There was so much she wanted to shout at the damned Sistermon Noir! But looking around, and at all the eyes on her at the moment... she could do no such thing. So... should she scream for help? No... She had no idea what would happen if the authorities got involved. The last thing she needed was Sable somehow finding a way to blackmail the chief of police or something. "What's the matter, dear child? Would you not like a ride?" The Sistermon Noir's gleeful eyes brightened up as she examined Airi's precarious situation. "No way! There's no way that I'm taking a single step onto that bus in front of all of these people!" Airi barked back defiantly. "Oh, but dear child, if you don't I'm going to come by here every single day of school, and shower you with praise and affection in front of all of your classmates! In fact, maybe I'll share stories about your home life, like how you wet the bed when you have a little nightmare so you climb into my bosom and-" "I nev-" Airi groaned. It didn't matter if she actually did or not. The stories alone would do enough damage. "F-fine! I'll ride your stupid bus... fucking psychopath..." And with a face reddened by anger and humiliation, Airi ran into the bus as quickly as she could to hide away. "That wasn't so bad, was it, my dear child of mine?" Sable asked innocently, condescendingly patting the little girl on the head. But... Airi's attention was focused on something else entirely. Because in the back of the bus, there was a small child even younger-looking than Airi. With long blond hair in pigtails. She looked incredibly nervous, but she refused to make eye contact with Airi. "Sable. Who is that small child in the back of the bus?" "Oh, her?" Sable asked like she barely even knew she was there. "I have no idea! She just climbed in here earlier and hasn't said a word since!" "Sable. Kidnapping me is one thing. Stop doing that, by the way, but kidnapping random little girls is another matter entirely. You need to take her home before someone calls the police. Before she calls the police." "I wouldn't worry about that," Sable insisted. Both of them stared at the little girl, who after glancing back in their direction quickly looked away and towards the bus floor. "I don't think she... has that mental capacity, to say the least. I feel she stepped onto this short bus out of sheer habit, if you know what I mean." "I don't know what you mean. But I'm sure that you just said something awful right now." But was that the end of it? Would there be other someone else getting involved in this rather hairy situation?

[Hey. Could I get some fat stacks of posts for this? Omen, Chaddest of Chads would meanwhile like herself some bits.] ...You know. How did I get here again? That was a thought that had crossed Miya's head a few times over the last...couple of hours? Yes, couple of hours. Even if it seemed like days had passed. She had been waiting for someone to show up near the bus stop for a little bit, and lo and behold...A bus had stopped where she was and she had hopped on. ...She didn't really question why in the blazes a nun-looking lady was driving, but still, it was probably better than whatever the hell was on those trains in the other place. Other place given this was Shibuya, and the albino was doing her best to ensure she was not directly in the sunlight, if any was at all present. For all anyone knew, it could also have been a cloudy day. "Hey, where's this bus going? ...And why's it so short?" Those were the first words that Miya had said since getting on about twoish minutes ago, since she had figured she didn't really have much to say to the Sistermon that wasn't anything stupid like 'where'd the bus come from?' Or 'Why are these people here?' You know. Reasonable people things. Things that Miya was definitely not right now. [212/1000]

"Why hello, little one! Welcome to Mother Sable's bus of love and kindness! Please take a seat anywhere you'd like!" Sable was acting pretty cheerful for someone who was probably committing some kind of felony or something. And... where and when exactly did Sable learn to drive a bus? Well... that was probably an MPC for another day. And as Miya took her seat on the bus, Airi just gave Sable another flabbergasted glare. And where the hell did this girl come from? And why was Sable going around picking up little girls, anyway? Plus she looked kind of... sickly or something. Airi didn't quite know what exactly was up with the new girl, though she can't imagine it would mean something healthy. Regardless, she figured that she should get as much information as possible. After all, Sable preferred to keep her partner in the dark and fed on bullshit like some kind of mushroom or something. So Airi took a seat in the seat in front of Miyako, kneeling on the seat so her head would poke over the back of the seat. She had a bright and cheery smile on her face as she said, "Hey there! I'm Airi! It's really nice to meet you! What's your name?" She greeted in an annoyingly cutesy tone. "So... what brought you here? And how did you get to meet Mother Sable?" But before she could get an answer, the bus stopped once more. Seriously, how fast was Sable driving to make all these stops!? And not long after, another person stepped onto the bus. And older-looking teenage girl dressed in all black. She looked around at the current passengers and let out a nervous grin. "Ah... there are way more little kids there than I thought there would be... I guess slumber parties aren't nearly as popular among high schoolers these days, huh?" She shrugged, gliding towards Miya's seat, plopping down right next to her and offering her fist out for a bump. Meanwhile, she dropped a black gym sack stuffed full with something right onto the floor. Sticking out of the tightened drawstring, was a long, fuzzy blue tail. "Yo! I'm Tsubaki! Nice to meet ya!" She declared, offering a fist bump towards both Airi and Miya. Airi... nervously returned the greeting. But regardless of whether she bumped or not, Tsubaki would stare at her for a moment and her eyes would widen. "Oh hey, you're one of those kids with the skin thing, right? What's it called... Alpaca... Albatross... Man, all I'm thinkin' of is animals right now! Hey, help me out with this, would ya?" She turned over to Airi for some help. Why the hell would a little kid know when she didn't!? And as Tsubaki attempted to make small talk with the small children, there was another stirring in the back. Covered in a pile of air fresheners, arose another little girl with long, messy, tangled-up reddish-brown hair. "That was a good nap, right, Mr. Piggybutt?" She commented after a stretch and a yawn. "Toko, Toko!" A little voice squeaked out in affirmation. And as she began to move around, her rancid smell began to waft through the entirety of the bus. And the little girl in the back with blond hair, the one closest to the smelly girl, held her nose in obvious discomfort before turning to the window and opening it up a crack. "Stinks..." She muttered in a barely audible tone.

If there was anything that was truly for certain, Miya was already confused. Also impressed at how the Sistermon just...dodged all those questions. No, really. All of them! Regardless, she gave Airi a polite smile. She had been about to answer when the bus stopped, but she tried to whisper it anyways. "It's nice to meet you too, my name's Miyako. But you can just call me Miya if you want--most people do."
Wait, this was a slumber party? Hopefully Airi caught that, but...Miya stared at Tsubaki and blinked a few times. She bumped, before she tried helping with that. "My condition's called albinism. I don't go out a lot because of it. It's nice to meet you too, Tsubaki." Assume she was calling everyone with proper honorifics, too!
So, already the place was plenty crowded with a lot of people, but there was only so much that Miya could do at once. Miya recalled Airi asking a question, though. "...I didn't. The bus just pulled up and I got on--something about a slumber party at the place I was waiting was on a flyer. What about you?" Actually...
She turned her attention to the rest of the girls! "Hey, how did you all get here?"

"It's really nice to meet you, Miya-chan!" Airi answered back with a bright smile. She was really quiet, so Airi didn't get much of a read on her just yet. Maybe she was just shy? Airi tended to avoid shy people after all. She really only bothered to deal with the extroverted, outgoing types that would bother her.
Miya's question didn't go unheard, either, and Tsubaki was the first to speak up. "Oh, I found a flyer pop up on my doorstep, and I figured that it might be nice to go to a party!" She said with an easy smile. "I didn't realize that it was a slumber party until I re-read the flyer, but by then I was when already at the bus stop, so I figured 'when in roam, ya gotta roam the streets' or somethin', right?" She chuckled to herself for a second before playfully slapping Miya on the arm.
"Mr. Piggybutt and I found a spot to take a nap in!" the smelly girl with reddish-brown hair cried out from the back of the bus. "Toko, Toko!" The Tokomon confirmed. "But we sure were surprised when our nap spot started moving!" "Toko..." Came the Tokomon's slightly sad tone.
"But does that mean we're getting kidnapped!? The police don't like me, so I would really like it if you didn't kidnap and sell us to creepy people!" "Toko, Toko, Toko!?" She answered in a panicked tone. She looked like she was ready to jump out of the little girl's arms. But she seemed to calm down shortly after.
"Oh, and if you're not gonna kidnap me, I'm Matsuri, and this here is Mr. Piggybutt!" She gave the other passengers a friendly enough smile.
And then there was the little blonde girl who all but put her face next to the window crack to escape the stench of the other girl in the back. When others naturally turned their attention to her, her eyes darted around to every spot in the bus that didn't have a person there. She mumbled something in a soft voice, but the roar of the bus's engine completely drowned whatever she said out.
And thanks to Tsubaki's arrival, she managed to get an idea of what was going on. "Wow! A slumber party? That sure doesn't sound like something Mother Sable is interested in! I wonder why she would be willing to set something like that up?" She put her finger to her lip and looked up at the bus's roof innocently, as if in deep thought.
"Oh, but it's only natural to have my pa-..." The Sistermon Noir seemed to choke on something. Was she just... incapable of using the word, "partner"? She smiled, turning around from the steering wheel to reach over and pat Airi on top of her head, making extra sure to mess up her hair. "This dear child is always so alone, I figured that it would be best to give her an opportunity to spend some quality with some other girls her age! That's would any Digimon would do, right?"
"H-hey, Mother S-sable?" Airi tried to warn the Sistermon Noir. But naturally, Sable didn't bother to pay the little girl that held her Digivice any mind.
"And I think that it's a wonderful thing for young girls like yourselves to connect with one another! The Digital World can be such a cruel and unforgiving place, but having friends that are willing to look out for one another would be a wonderful thing, would it not? So I feel that it's my responsibility to foster such friendships to create a brighter future and a more peace-"
"Goddammit Sable, look out!" Airi jumped into the driver's seat, grabbing a hold of the steering wheel but finding herself unable to reach the pedals. And she could barely see out the windshield, where the bus veered off the road and down towards the river below. Airi let out a panicked shriek when the bus tipped over and began to fall into the water below.
Tsubaki, still close to Miyako, attempted to grab onto the pale little girl and hold her tight, for whatever good that would do. "It's okay, I got ya!" She tried to assure her. Meanwhile, Matsuri and Toko were screaming bloody murder near the back while the blond-haired girl curled up into a ball in her seat.
However, Sable quickly moved over, pressed a button near the steering wheel, and suddenly, the bus suddenly moved quickly into a portal before it could hit the water. However, it didn't do anything to stop the bus's angle, and instead of sinking into a river, its nose crashed into a solid ground, tipping back over onto its wheels afterwards. After all the rocking, Sable stood up and looked around. "Children? Is everyone okay?" Most likely, other than a couple bumps and bruises, everyone would be fine.
Inside the bus that is. Outside, they could hear a little girl's voice cry out, "Oh no, Mocha! Are you okay!?"
"S-somebody get the number of the bus who just... just... fuckin' fucked me... fuck..." WC: 2253/5000

After a candid nod and a smile was thrown Airi's way, Miya found herself confused.
"Wait, what?" A lot of explanations had come out all at once! Well, not all at once, that would be a really dumb sort of implication, but... "...Of course, it does sound like we're being kidnapped. Well, you aren't." Miya told Matsuri. "You just hitchhiked. Stowed away." Miya also seemed weirdly unaffected by the stench. Perhaps she held skill in ignoring such a thing.
There were a lot of people here. They seemed quite nice, but whatever the hell happened next sure wasn't! "You're right, she really...doesn't seem like the kind of girl who does slumber parties. She looks so EDGY." Miya nodded with a smile on her face. But that faded when Sable turned her attention away from the steering wheel. "Eyes on the road." She said. "Eyes on the road." She repeated. "EYES ON THE OH MY-" Miya yelled as Tsubaki grabbed her for her own safety, and Airi managed to successfully cause an automobile accident!
Miya had never been in one of those before. But strangely, in another series of events, everything went okay. Nothing broke. The bus seemed to go right onto solid ground. And judging from what she saw outside...
"Oh. The other world." Miya grumbled. "I'm fine! You're a terrible driver! Who gave you your license? They should be arrested!"
Meanwhile, outside, a certain hooded critter had been wandering around the general vicinity of whatever area the bus had found itself smack dab in the midst of, and not only witnessed the bus' appearance but also...
"Oh no, Mocha!" That. Omen was going to run over to where they were and help Mocha, before turning to the bus and yelling, "I'LL BURN YOU TO PIECES, BUSMON!" In her most menacing acquired voice. Which happened to be that of her mother's!
Miya got out of Tsubaki's grasp and went over to the window. "...Hah! That one has no arms! ...And those two look the same."

Once everything was over, Airi let out a sigh of relief. There was some hubbub outside, but at the very least, they didn't crash and all die a horrible death. Which was what Airi kept thinking about over the past few seconds. Though... she didn't think that Sable should be allowed to drive anymore. Like, ever. Airi wondered if she could get this bus fitted for her short legs somehow. Or at least, Sarge could could drive it or something. He was a cyborg, so maybe he could operate this machine, or something? Airi wasn't so sure, really. Nothing in the Digital World seemed to make any sense. Tsubaki let go of Miyako once everything was over, only to storm over to the Sistermon and lifter her up by her black robes. "Hey, what the hell do ya thing you're doin'!?" She shouted at the silver-haired Digimon. "There are a bunch of kids on this bus! You tryin' to get them fuckin' killed!?" "What the black-haired lady said!" "Toko! Toko! Toko!" Matsuri called out from the back, holding Toko securely in her arms. Both the little girl and the Tokomon seemed none too pleased at the moment. The pair were currently upside down in their seat... somehow. But the pair managed to get themselves right-side up again. "Please forgive me! I had assumed that the bus could drive itself! At least, that was what the dealer had told me!" Sable sounded genuinely distressed at the moment. Airi wasn't sure... but could Sable be telling the truth? If so... there wasn't any way that Sable was going to let some used car dealer get away with tricking her. It was likely that there was going to be some vengeance that was going to be exacted in the future... and Airi would no doubt be a part of it. The little girl sighed. Meanwhile, the little blond girl was nowhere to be seen. But there was a sniveling sound coming from underneath where she was sitting. Welp. That was a short-lived mystery. And it was all Tsubaki needed to hear. "Shit..." She muttered under her breath, apparently putting her anger aside, letting go of the Sistermon, and moving towards the little girl. "Hey there, kiddo... Is everything all right? I'm Tsubaki, and I'm comin' down there, okay?" She knelt down into the cramped crawl space and began whispering to the little girl, though Airi couldn't quite make it out. Mostly because someone had started to threaten... the bus itself. Busmon? Was there really a busmon? That was stupid. There was no way a bus could be a... oh, right. They have train Digimon. Airi poked her head outside to see... An armless creature shouting at the bus, threatening to burn it down. And a pink-haired girl run up to her. As well as a Darcmon and Falcomon standing over a battered Lopmon. The Darcmon looked like she was holding up a banner as a faint light was covering the Lopmon's body. "Ah, Omen!" The pink-haired girl cried out. "It's okay, Mocha's gonna be just fine! But Cream said it might be a while for her to heal!" "That voice..." The Darcmon pondered to herself, really there wasn't much she could do stand still while healing someone. It was an incredibly shitty move that should totally be revamped one day. "Hmm..." Welp. Hopefully the pink-haired girl could calm down little red riding hood before she set fire to a bus. Which probably wasn't a good thing. Because busses with nuns in them always seemed to explode for some reason.

There was once more a lot going on for one Miyako to process, but everything seemed to be slowly but surely calming down. She would step over first to Tsubaki and Sable, who had engaged in a rather heated argument. Heated to her at the very least. "I think it was a legitimate mistake on her end...As...stupid and dangerous as it was. I'm very sorry that the dealer lied to you, though...Are you all okay?" She asked of Airi, Tsubaki and Sable alike.
Of course, the voice yelling at the 'Busmon' (sic) was still being quite cranky. "I'LL RIP YOU IN TWO AND STEP ON YOUR CORPSE!" Omen called out once more in Mae's voice. She was able to get a REALLY good approximation of Mae's angry voice. She was, of course, dissuaded by the presence of Nanami. She seemed like the one thing that was able to calm her down. "But...It hurt Mocha. I know she's mean but she's still your partner...And I don't think I can just let that go unexcused!" Omen took a quick pause, before gasping!
"D-Did it hurt you too? Oh, I'm going to-..."
"Nobody's hurt!" Miya called out from the bus. She looked back to the people inside. "Um. Give me a moment. I think I can try explaining?" She'd explain, ironically enough, before she briefly disembarked.
"We're trying to have a sleepover and our driver can't drive so we ended up nearly having an accident until some weird stuff happened and now we're here." Miyako quickly explained, which led Omen to stare at her. "...Wow! This makes no sense!" The Wispmon repeated in an approximation of Miyako's voice.
"Why are y-...Of course it makes sense! I said it!" Miya exclaimed, before she let out a quiet sigh. "...My name's Miya. Who are you people...?" "My name's Omen! Nice to meet you, Miya!" Omen chirped happily!
At the very least, there wasn't any number of weirdly deadly things popping out of nowhere anymore. Miya spared a look to Cream and tilted her head. "Oh, you've got a friend with wings too, wow. That's really cool."

"I'm fine..." Airi said, taking a deep breath. Sable nodded as well. It seemed like everyone was okay, save for awkward positioning from Matsuri and the Tokomon X at her side. Though Omen's threats from outside weren't helping too much. But, Airi saw that a pink-haired girl was doing her best to calm her down, and Miya managed to help out, too. "It's okay, Omen! See? I'm in tip-top shape!" She flexed her very clearly scrawny arms. So impressive. Regardless, the Wispmon's rage seemed to have been quelled for the time being. So that was a plus. Nanami listened in to Miya's explanation with a blank expression that may or may not have fully understood what she was saying and smiled at the end. "A slumber party? I've always wanted to try one of those! The doctors always got angry when I stayed up all night and tried to talk with everyone in the hospital! I'm Nanami, by the way! Nanami Hanabana! And that's Cream, Mocha, and Mu-kun!" She pointed towards the Darcmon, the Lopmon, and Falcomon respectively. Cream acknowledged Miya's own acknowledgement, and simply nodded in response. Having wings was cool, even if having a body shaped like a human was really weird. Seriously, how did humans all get around like this? Their ears were way too small! But... what was up with this happy-go-lucky girl? Her Digimon just got hit by a bus and now the people responsible for it were just fine and dandy to her? What kind of response was that? Airi couldn't quite figure that part out. "But if you want to do a sleepover, then we can do it here!" Nanami exclaimed, gesturing to area around them. A white plain of sand. Somewhere in the Shining Sea, maybe? "It can get a little cold, but we can build a big campfire! And there's some natural hot springs nearby so we can get really warm, too!" Nanami seemed to realize something and turned to Omen. "Oh... are you allowed to go in water, Omen?" "I wanna camp, too!" Matsuri yelled out, making her way out of the bus with the Tokomon X in her arms. "I'm Matsuri, and this is Mr. Piggybutt! Say hello!" "To-koooo!" And at that point, Tsubaki stepped out of the bus with the little blonde girl in her arms. "Everyone! This is Elly, and she's seven years old, and she got on this bus by accident!" Tsubaki announced, holding the little girl up so she was sitting on her shoulder. It looked like it was a struggle for the fifteen year old girl, but she didn't seem to be complaining. Meanwhile, Elly looked really nervous and tried to shrink into as small of a ball as she could, given the circumstances. And from then on, all of ari's characters made their respective introductions. It was probably really annoying to have to listen to if you were someone like Airi or Sable. But the pair participated and pretended to be friendly enough. "It's nice to meet you, Elly! I'm Nanami!" "Umm... hello..." "Heya! I'm Tsubaki!" "I'm Airi! I hope you'll take good care of us!" "Nice to meet you, Tsubaki and Airi! I'm Nana- ah, you already heard all that!" "And it's so wonderful to meet such a sweet young child such as yourself in such a desolate land! I am Mother Sable, and I am pleased to make your acquaintance!" "Ehehe... I didn't get all that, but it's nice to meet you, too! But I already have a mom, so I'm just gonna call you Sable, okay?"Truly, masterful storytelling at its finest!
