Feeling the impact of one being greater than the other Coal couldn’t help but wonder what sort of abilities beta had. Was she getting tougher or stronger from getting hit? From landing hits? The latter didn’t make much sense since even when she missed her abilities… It was definitely the former. She’d grit her teeth and wipe off her chest as she skidded back. Seeing the aura flare up from her shadow’s landing hits let coal know what was being done. She’d huff a little bit and adjust her stance again. ”Well that’s interesting to say the least… Hmm. Your core is definitely a little brighter than when we started...”Coal furrowed her brow; staring at beta for a moment. She was bright, she could tell something was going on with her eye and almost missed the hackmon charging at her. Coal blinked owlishly uncertain for a moment what she should do. But given the fact that beta was her only target… it made sense to target her with both bits of shadows. Making easy motions towards the approaching hackmon. Shadows of her own would make it easy, but mixing it with the Hackmon’s own shadows would also let her trip up the approaching hackmon probably. Would also make it a bit more difficult to avoid both attacks. It was also easier to dodge one attack than two, but with coal focusing on attacking beta twice was it really fair that she’d avoid the hackmon’s efforts? No. So she’d take that attack straight on! "Wonder how strong this aura of yours can get..." Log: -Coal takes beta’s attack and launches two of her own on the twin! Pasives: [RAM UPGRADE] Visions of Darkness|Combat Passive: Simple night vision, she can see perfectly in the dark using her left eye. It's as bright as day but it's difficult if not outright painful for her to use in actual bright spaces. Can be blocked if something physically covers the eye.
Visions of Purity|Non-combat Passive Her left eye is fairly powerful, with night vision already she is able to additionally see the lines in digital coding. Allowing her to see someone's data as though it was 0's and 1's. Even down to the wire-frame and core. It doesn't do much for her and is quite a nasty headache if she doesn't cover up somehow... Move: Shadow Dance: Coal can control and manipulate shadows, forming blades and weapons out of them in such a way. Tendrils are her most common use and she can use these shadows to attack anyone within a 50 foot range of herself. Deals high damage. Requires simple gesture or movement to execute. Her own shadow is often more than not the source of this attack. Cooldowns: WOD: 0/2 V: 2/3 Durations: WOD: 2/2

It seems Coal figured out the same thing Alpha did, just what was up with Beta. The Hackmon couldn't say for sure and he was pretty sure Beta didn't fully know as well. " Well if she's distracted with Beta, guess I should take this moment well." Holding his claws out Alpha focused on the claws at the code itself switching around in order to coat the claws in his own special type of poison, it wouldn't deal too much damage and he had to get a good shot on them but still if Beta was drawing all the fire like this his time was probably best spent doing this. Beta had no idea why she was feeling this way, every time she hit Coal she felt her power increase and every time Coal hit her she felt the same increase, not even noticing the aura around her building up. Even when Coal questioned how large her Aura could get Beta didn't have an answer. The only answer she had was to keep charging with her claws extended outward. Beta saw her own shadow moving, the attack extending towards her hitting the digimon in the side, all the hits she had taken thus far had knocked her slightly off balance but she wasn't willing to give in to just a few Knicks. The other attack Coal had made from her own Shadow though Beta didn't want a part of. Instead of just tanking the hit like she had been doing Beta raised her claws up rushing with an incredible speed slicing the attack itself with two claw strikes as she advanced on Coal striking three more times with her claws.

Coal could tell that the aura was definitely making beta stronger; there was some kind of defensive and offensive reaction. Her curiosity would definitely get the better of her and her focus had shifted from the both of them to beta. Was that a poor decision? More than likely but if he was out of it or something coal wasn’t about to hit him that hard in a spar like this. Seeing that beta had been hit by one of her attacks; but avoided the other by slicing the attack in half? Well that was impressive! Her shadows did have a physical presence so slicing through them was possible. Hell Iko did it very often by wrangling her shadows during her spars with him. But that was just because of the sheer experience he had. The first claw hit and she’d grunt, sliding backwards a bit. She’d side step the second one but the third one would make her spin a bit. Whatever attack that was had to be a rush type; meaning that beta was definitely a front liner. Not that coal hadn’t already figured that out. But with the two of them so close to one another… Coal’s movements were crisp and fast; even if she had taken a few hits it seemed like she was used to getting hit or dealing with the pain. While her training elsewhere was consistent it had taught her one thing about combat. And that was to keep going until you couldn’t or they couldn’t. Her shadows were getting used to; so she’d bring her fist in a downward spike looking to practically deck beta into the ground. Her other hand? It was focusing on something. Something big. The shadows that were gathering there also seemed to cause the lights to flicker in the area. In an open coliseum. What on earth was coal going to do? Well she knew that beta couldn’t see in the dark and alpha could; at least judging by her reaction earlier. So it’d make sense to make the three of them lack the ability to be seen or see things… Even if that meant that alpha and coal were the only ones that could see. Beta had basically no real idea her attack the shadows thing would work, she just kinda made a guess and it seems like it worked out. Part of her figured that it must be something she can hit considering she could get hit by it but otherwise it was just a full guess on her part. Still two of her attacks hit their mark but she couldn't seem to get the other one to land fast enough to get out of the way, Though after that moment Beta had to pause for a second, her stance wavered a bit as she focused on the match. Yes technically she wasn't feeling much pain at all, the attacks didn't hurt as badly as she assumed they would but the constant direct attacks had been taking their tole on the Hackmon. As if all the damage she had taken had just caught up to her she could feel her legs buckle a bit as she tried to get away from close quarters she was in. Realizing it was a bad move to continue staying this close. Still it was a little too late to retreat for her as Coal took this opportunity at close range to hit her with a punch, with her legs feeling the pain of the attacks and getting basically punched into the ground she felt her legs give and she hit the floor a bit hard. " Ugh..." Beta still held her ground slowly getting back up, her Aura had still grown brighter despite the pain she seemed to be in at the moment as she started trying to back off from Coal. Alpha had finished what he was doing off away from Combat, by the time he looked up to see what was going on he was shocked to see shadows gathering around Coal, the lights of the arena flickering as they did, all of it spelled not good to him. " Darn, I should've attacked while I had the chance." Cursing his failure to act he decided the only solution right now was to try and rush Coal from where he was. Rushing over with his claw extended Alpha made no move to hide his intent, given that he knew that Coal could see him in the dark there really wasn't much option but for a full frontal assault with a claw slice, he just hoped he could make it in time to stop whatever that was from happening.

Seeing that beta was in a bad way after the renamon practically decked her made Coal pause for a split second. Was she okay? She didn’t hit her too hard did she. Her concentration on her charging attack didn’t waiver but she was rather concerned for a potential friends safety. Growling to herself the lights wouldn’t just flicker… as a huge cloud of darkness billowed out from where coal was standing. Encompassing the trio easily as the thirty meter cloud swallowed the arena in it’s entirety; causing many in the crowd to bark in alarm or surprise. This wasn’t even just regular darkness, to beta it’d seem pitch black. Almost impossible to see even the ground at your feet. Or at least barely see it. For a rookie coal was boasting a fairly powerful ability. Even if alpha wouldn’t be affected by it at all. Coal’s eyes flicked to where she could hear alpha approaching. His own intentions were laid bare and she’d grit her teeth as she could feel her body’s energy spike. One of her earlier abilities were ready. The same spear that alpha had barely dodged before. But rather than fire it from a distance coal didn’t even hesitate. Ignoring beta completely she’d kick off to meet alpha. Either of her arms looked poised and ready to strike but there was a flexing of her eye that made it unlikely she was going to do anything with them. Point blank. She was going to fire her spear from point blank range; and she was going to let him hit her to seal in the deal of making it difficult to dodge. It wouldn’t even be a split second before the spear was launched out of her eye; looking like it was going to reach out and just gently brush him… before rocketing out with such a vengeance you’d wonder if the fight was making it difficult for coal to hold back her attacks at this point. It seems Alpha didn't move fast enough, by the time he was close the entire arena was covered in Darkness, pausing for just a moment he took a view of his surroundings. Being used to using his moves in this type of darkness his eyes easily adjusted to it, what angle was Coal playing at? She should know this wouldn't work on Alp, His eyes went wide as he realized she wasn't doing this against him, she was doing it to take Beta out of the fight for now. He didn't know how well Beta could see in the dark but considering how she almost hit him before it was probably not well. Still Alpha had made his move so there wasn't anything he could do but continue forward. Seeing as Coal kicked off in order to meet Alpha halfway he wondered just what the Renamon could have on her mind, he couldn't think of what she'd want to do at close range, everything so far had been at long ranged or straight up fist attacks. If she wanted to beat him claw to fist he wagered his claws would do more. Nevertheless he aimed his claw upward and sliced downward hitting her point blank, the lingering poison from the ability he used before still on his Claws would seep into her body, it wouldn't do much damage but it would still do damage overtime, which is what he wanted. However blinded by his own plan Alpha failed to notice what Coal wanted to do, the same spear he had barely dodged before was now in front of him, pointing right at his body. He moved his arm of course to try and block the spear. Holding it up the spear pretty much went through his claws, his motion to catch it barely stopping the thing as it impaled him in the side of the arm sending the Hackmon flying backwards and into the ground a distance away knocking his hood off in the process. " Damn, I messed up." It was obvious now that he thought about it, after all why else would Coal want to get close to Alpha. All the better ideas he could've had came surging through his head, starting with actually supporting Beta instead of using that time to coat his claws in poison. Like it or not he was down for the count, couldn't feel his left arm at the moment. Beta was having a much worse time though, the Darkness around her slowly reminding her of much worse times then she would care to remember, still she took a deep breath, calming herself down. Eyes closed for a few moments listening to the sounds that were around her before her red eyes opened, not able to see anything but not wanting to give up either there was only one thing she could try and do. However before she could make the leap she heard what Alpha had said, instead of focusing back on the fight Beta ran over to check on her twin, looking for him in the Darkness instead of focusing on Coal, not that she could see Coal anyway.

Coal could feel that poison doing work and she’d grit her teeth a bit. It was painful sure but her strike had done wonders as she watched the hackmon in front of her send him flying backwards. Knocking his hood off and whatnot. The renamon adjusted her stance and glanced at beta. There was a few moments where she considered attacking them but the red haze that had been working it’s way over her eyes slowly dissipated. She’d exhale a little bit and flick her wrist. Dismissing the darkness.
Honestly out of the two of them it felt like she had this in the bag; she had beta completely unawares and if she wanted to she could have stopped the other from finding their brother. Attacking them with shadows if she so wished but… The darkness would fade away; giving back into the light and coal? Well she’d drag her goggles back up to her eyes; sighing softly in relief as the world stopped being so abrasive to her eye.
”I don’t think we need to fight any further…”
Coal rubbed at some of the places that she had gotten hit; wincing as she knew later she’d probably feel sore as heck. The renamon approached the two twins; holding up her hands in a manner suggesting that she was done… if they wanted to be as well. If they wanted to keep fighting well she’d definitely entertain the fact once everyone was better. But…
”We can stop here and get tended to by one of the coliseum medics. They’re free for contenders that properly sign up anyways.”
Coal’s voice only showed a hint of her tiredness. It wasn’t anything like you’d expect given that they were just really going at it. She’d flick her ears as she could feel that poison working through her. Wincing just a little bit and tenderly holding where alpha had hit her.

Alpha was pretty content to lay there for a while, his right arm over his head as he just slowly got more and more mad at the fact that he totally botched this fight. Even if it was just supposed to be a sparring match he was still pretty annoyed that he lost. As he stewed in his own anger for a bit he noticed the shadows around him slowly start to disappear, hearing Coal mention there was no point to fight further. Part of him had to agree, Beta couldn't see anything and he was currently pinned to the ground pretty much. Still pissed him off though. "Mhm." He simply replied doing his best not to let his anger show, grabbing his hood he pulled it once again over his head and just laid there for a moment.
Beta finally able to see where she was saw Alpha on the ground and ran over, looking obviously worried about her twin brother. "Alpha, are you Ok?" She asked rushing over to her twin to make sure he wasn't too badly hurt.
"Oh I'm fine, I just have a spear in my shoulder, nothing major." Alpha responded very sarcastically, not even bothering to look up at Beta.
"Oh good I was worried you were hurt." Beta had a pretty blank look on her face as he said that, she didn't understand sarcasm it seems. Beta quickly grabbed the spear and pulled it right out of his shoulder, which made Alpha stifle a curse real quick.
"Note to self, teach you what sarcasm is." He said through pained grunts as he held his claw over where the spear was, that was definitely going to hurt in the morning.
"Right, need to get healed up. Thank you for the fight. I learned a lot." It went pretty well in her eyes for her first ever fight, even though she lost it was still a lot of fun for her.
Alpha got into a sitting position before getting up fully, making sure not to put too much pressure on his arm as he got up. "Yeah getting healed is a good idea, er sorry about the poison thing. It was a bit of a spur of the moment sorta deal." Despite being annoyed he lost Alpha did know digimon didn't like being poisoned. "And I guess, thanks for the fight. Guess I still got a long way to go." He sighed a bit annoyed at himself, he thought he was stronger then this. If they couldn't beat a rookie then fighting his old teacher was a pipe dream at the moment.

Coal stood just an arms length from the other two; nervously fidgeting as she could see the damage she dealt. That spear certainly looked like it hurt. Maybe doing something like that point blank was best left for actual fights rather than spars. She’d rub at her neck a bit as the two bantered. She’d adjust a little bit seeing her mom give her a thumbs up from the crowd before heading off to the inside; the shutmon would probably talk to her once they were getting tended.
”Of course! I learned a lot too.”
Coal blinked a bit and stepped forward; noting that the hackmon was having a hard time getting up she’d offer to hoist him off the ground. She was fine and the both of them were fairly small so… She could easily carry the both of them if needed. She didn’t even seem too bothered by the idea either.
”Lemme get you to the medic then, best not to move too much. It’s all right; ma doesn’t really hold back in her spars with me and neither does Mr. Iko. Truth be told I have a long long way to go too; but at least it’s nice knowing that I could help the both of you.”
Coal’s face lit up in a smile; spreading practically from ear to ear. It wouldn’t be long before the three of them would be able to get into the medical area of the collisieum either. Sitting there while being tended to various medical mons.
”Would you two like to get something to eat after we get discharged? Maybe some bento? You can eat it with one hand and it shouldn’t be too hard on your core.”
Coal was sporting a wrap of bandages around her midsection, her chest and one shoulder. The same places that the twins had hit her time and time again. Though she seemed not too unbothered by it. She was still wearing half of her ‘uniform’ even with the top wrapped around her waist like people used to do in human schools with their hoodies or sweaters.
”Cause I know a good place just outside of the coliseum and I’ve only been there twice! But never there with friends.”
That last part was said a little less confidently and much more shyly than she probably intended. Even stammering a little bit on the final word of that statement...

Alpha was having a bit of a hard time moving that was pretty easy to see. He couldn't exactly hide it but as Coal offered to help Alpha there was a look of confusion in his eyes. "Er, I'll be fine thanks. I can walk." Wasn't Coal supposed to be gloating or something now? she won, Wasn't that just what you were supposed to do after a win. Even going out to say she was happy to help the both of them. This, definitely wasn't something the Hackmon was used to seeing. Even his anger of losing gave way to confusion.
Beta on the other hand just seemed pretty happy about the whole thing. "I can walk too, I dunno why I didn't feel any pain for a while, then it all just hit at once. Still though a lot of fun for my first sparring match." Beta definitely had some damage on her, she wasn't used to damage. It was all pretty exciting for the Hackmon.
Sure enough eventually they made their way to the medical area, Alpha had to take off his cloak for a while but eventually they bandaged his arm pretty good. Still couldn't move it all too well which annoyed him a bit but it would heal overtime.
Beta on the other hand probably got away with the least amount of bandages, just a few here and there to cover some small wounds she hadn't noticed, with the aspect of Bento though Beta just smiled. "Oh, I have absolutely no idea what that is but it sounds great. How about it Alpha?"
Alpha on the other hand still had his suspicions on high alert, first the whole being nice thing after a match then offering to go out with them for food. What did Coal want from the two of them. Part of him wanted to bail out early on, another part wanted to keep going just to find out what the Renamon wanted from the two of them.
Then the part of them being friends came up, which Alpha didn't fully share the same thoughts on that, Beta though. "Huh, we're friends. Oh wow I've never had a friend before! This is great." She had a smile ear to ear, something within Alpha just gave way.
"Yeah, me either. Suppose we can go. Ciel just said we should strengthen our bond." Part of Alpha was still very suspicious of the whole thing but seeing Beta smile like that after recalling what she had been through the day before. The small good part inside him couldn't let that slide.

Coal nodded her head a few times; if alpha wanted to walk she wasn’t going to force him to accept her help. She’d hum thoughtfully and flick her ears; turning her attention to Beta. Hearing that she didn’t feel any pain for a bit before hitting all at once made coal pause for a moment.
”Maybe some pain blocking ability? Or whatever made it so you weren’t taking as much damage or hitting harder? Might be a good idea to look into it if you plan on doing more fighting down the road!”
Coal smiled brightly and while they were sitting there in the medical area she seemed a little less muted than before. Especially away from her family; more so because sometimes her mother could be a touch overbearing and protective. With her sister not being here and her mother waiting outside coal felt like she could breathe. She loved them to death but… this was her.
”Oh! It’s like pre packaged meals that are really good for you but there are places here that make it so you can eat where-ever you want to!”
Coal would get off of her bedding and wince a bit; her hand going to her most recent and sore ‘wound’. The last one that alpha had done to her; maybe taking an attack laced with poison was a poor idea? The medical mon huffed a bit and noted that the group seemed to be fine.
You can leave when you want; we’ve done all we can.
Coal gave them a thumbs up; smiling warmly at the pair of hackmons. Hearing that beta and alpha were on board with getting bento the renamon’s tails swished this way and that before leading the pair out of the medical ward. Thankfully her mother was nearby who seemed like they were in a good mood too.
”Ah! There you are! My little champ. Ready to go home?”
”Actually ma we’re going to go get some bento with Alpha and beta if that’s all right?”
Silence blinked a bit hearing that coal wanted to go get bento and with the twins that she had just fought. Leaning a bit she’d stare at the twins. Looking them over and then managing a small smile.
”Sure. I’ll just stick out front, not feeling like being inside myself.”
Silence let out a loose laugh and ruffled the top of coal’s head; the fur sticking up every which way and coal giving a doofy grin while her mother padded towards the exit. Coal stared after her for a moment and turned to alpha n beta.
”It’s just outside of the coliseum… lemme show you where it’s at!”
Like coal said the trio would find the bento place just outside of the arena; it was a charming little hub of business. With plenty of seating both inside and out; coal would prefer going inside and if the twins didn’t argue they’d find themselves having a booth all to themselves!
”So if that was your first fight do you plan on sticking around here to learn more? Or gonna travel a bit?”
Coal asked; looking over the bento menu thoughtfully; her ears wiggling in excitement as she figured the chill conversation would help the two relax a bit...

An ability that made her take less damage or deal more. "Yeah that would be good to find out, I'm probably gonna be doing a lot of fighting. There's someone me and Alpha absolutely have to beat." For once Beta seemed a bit intense when she said that, just thinking about the digimon sent chills down her spine. For that she needed to get stronger fast.
"But we're nowhere near that yet, plus pretty sure we should learn to fight together before settling on any opponents to seek out." Beta gave a small nod, Alpha was right they did have a pretty sorry show in that fight before. Still with that out of the way they got the all clear to head on out, Hopping down Alpha moved his arm a little bit, yup still in a bit of pain. Better not try and do that for a while.
As they left though Coal's mom was right around the front, she gave both Alpha and Beta a stare real quick as Coal mentioned hanging out with the two of them. For a moment Alpha was a bit worried about being stared at but they quickly just laughed it off and gave Coal a pat on the head giving them the go ahead.
It seemed to be a pretty decent place, definitely not the type Alpha was used to. Beta though had a look of wonder on her face as she seemed to drink in the place, staring at quite a lot of stuff as they went in. Not having a preference they just followed Coal to their seating.
The question on what the twins were planning on doing came up, Beta put her hand to her head thinking about what she was going to do but Alpha pretty much already knew. "Well I imagine we're going to stay until we're healed, our... Caretaker I guess? Is looking for a place for us to stay so we'll probably be in town till then." Alpha still wasn't too sure on them but they seemed nice enough.
"Her name is Cici, she's great." Beta added with a smile.
"That's not her name just the nickname you gave her."
"So what about you Coal? Any plans?" Beta decided to flip the question on them.

Coal paused hearing that beta and alpha had someone that they absolutely had to beat. The renamon-x’s curiosity flashed through her eyes and she’d stare at the two of them thoughtfully. If that was the case…
”My ma and Mr iko are good trainers. My big sis holly also probably would be good for Alpha to learn from. She’s good at the sneaky stuff. But if you’d rather just spar with me that’s cool too! Oh! Well… yeah that makes sense.”
Coal beamed a little bit and failed to mention that her mother, Iko and holly were all individuals capable of the strongest digivolvutions around. Super mega. A form that she had never properly seen even for a moment from all of them. Not directly. But she knew that they were capable of it She’d quietly hum to herself and adjust in her seat; the menu flicking up in front of her.
”Well Vander tower always is open for visitors. That’s where the knights have a home in. So I think if you asked my ma she’d be willing to at least host you guys out of there till you find a place.”
Coal thoughtfully tapped her lips and ordered a water when the waiter came by; she had the idea for juice but until she could make her mind up about the bento… Well she’d just stick to water!
”Oh me? Uh well. I train every other day with Mr. Iko. Which is tomorrow. So that. But honestly? Train more until I can join the knights and do patrols.”
Closing her menu once her mind was made up the renamon-x would wait till the waiter arrived; ordering a nice array of bento for herself and would wait for the twins to put in theirs.
”Mr. Iko said I couldn’t join till I was ultimate at least and pass his test. Whatever that is. So I have to train more n more till I can.”
She didn’t seem too bothered by this fact; though adjusting her goggles and glancing out the window with one eye uncovered she seemed a little unsure.
”Niether me or my twin can digivolve yet. Both my big sisters, my ma and my da all can digivolve to stuff way beyond ultimate. Even Lux and Sixer can. Heck Sixer is stuck in champion cause of her grafts and Lux is just… in ultimate like ma is. I don’t think he likes being in anything under it.”
She’d pause and manage to flash a small smile.
”My family is a bit big and really strong; but I think that’s part of their charm eheh…”

Good with sneaky stuff huh, Alpha decided to note that down in the back of his head. Could be useful information for later. "Speaking of sneaky stuff I suppose it goes without saying you saw through the dark cloud I made though I'll admit I am curious at how you made those weapons from the darkness, so far all I've been able to make is Dark clouds. Weapons seem a tad more useful." Especially that spear, that thing hurt a lot. Could be useful if he could figure out how to do that.
"Oh, We could try there Alpha. That sounds like a fun place to visit." A whole bunch of knights, that would be a great place to try and learn fighting from probably.
Alpha though had a pretty clear face that seemed wary of that idea, mostly because being an ex thief surrounded by a bunch of knights, well suffice to say it wouldn't make him feel the most comfortable. "I think it'd be better if we just wait to see what Cici finds." Figuring that would be a good excuse to not check the place out, Beta seemed to just nod so he was at least in the clear from that.
The twins were pretty much fish out of water when it came to stuff like this, Alpha seemed to be chill about ordering though, just getting a decent amount, nothing too major or shocking. Beta just ordered whatever sounded nicest to her at the time, having no real knowledge on what any of this stuff was.
Well Coal revealed what she was going to do, which seemed to just be more training for an initiation test of some kind, revealing that she herself had a twin and that her family was stupid strong. "Oh you have a twin also? That's cool. Don't really know much about digivolution yet but it all sounds pretty intense."
While Beta was more chill on it Alpha definitely got a bit worried on hearing that, way beyond Ultimate. Then from what he understood being able to hold Ultimate was a pretty scary though. He was right in his first assessment not to piss off this family. "Yeah that does all sounds uh, pretty intense. I can barely imagine going champion at the point we're at. Ultimate sounds more like a pipe dream then anything at this point."

”Oh yeah! My left eye lets me see wireframes and the cores of individuals. It also lets me see in the dark perfectly so abilities like that are kinda wasted on me. That and I can summon up my own darkness as you can see. With making weapons from the shadows or darkness it’s just a type of energy manipulation.”
Coal chirped rather pleasantly even going so far as to tap her goggles that covered her face for the meantime. Even now she could vaguely see their wireframes underneath their skin. It was always there and would get worse the more she let loose. But she was calming down now and it was slowly returning down.
”They don’t normally let civilians in but I think they’d probably let you guys look around at least with some kind of supervision.”
Coal however would nod upon hearing that it was better if they waited; she didn’t mind at all. Wasn’t her way to press it onto them. She’d pause and nod again at beta’s question.
”Yup! But unlike a lot of the twins running around our cores aren’t linked. We were just born around the same time. Within ten or so minutes in fact. And it’s… intense emotionally I’ve been told. I’m looking forward to when I can!”
Coal paused at what alpha had to say; a pipe dream? Barely imagine anything beyond champion? She’d rub at her cheek and frown a little bit.
”Well it’s like this, sort of take your own pace on things and get there when you can. Rushing to try to digivolve is just going to make you stressed. So working with what you have is a better idea. Since you know you can’t digivolve yet you can instead work on your skills! Which will still carry over when you eventually do. It’s why I practice so much with so many strong people.”
While she wasn’t as skilled as many of her siblings or even the knights; coal was getting to the point that she’d easily combat most other rookies that didn’t have the amount of formal training she did. Though she didn’t hold it above people’s heads at all…
”And I’d be willing to spar with the two of you! I have a lot to learn from fighting more than one person at a time.”
