"Well here we are, this is the Coliseum, a place where warriors come to beat the tar outta one another." Walking through the stands were a pair of Hackmon, two different versions of one but Hackmon all the same, the darker one with his hood up led the white one towards the stands of the Coliseum to get a seat. "I know that Sistermon said we should travel together but you've never even seen a fight before have ya."
The second Hackmon had a blank look on her face, she seemed to be looking around the area a bit intensely, taking in all the new that had been assaulting her vision for a few moments. Alpha clapped his hands once bringing her attention back to him. With a shake of her head to get her thoughts organized she simply nodded. "Mhm, I've never seen more then the inside of that room."
Alpha thought back to that moment he found Beta and the Sistermon, asleep in that hidden room. Neither knew for how long. Alpha got a bit of a sullen look on his face for a moment, even from what he was taught that felt a bit extreme for his teacher to do that, well all the more reason to beat him and this twin of his was gonna be his ticket to doing so. "Well, digital world is full of dangers so I figure watching a few matches should give you a rough idea on how fights work. After all I don't think I'd be able to protect you and I can't have you dragging me down so here we are." So far his plan seemed flawless, they'd watch a few matches, he'd answer a few questions and then they'd start training. Alpha needed her in tip top shape if she was gonna help him beat that Myotismon.
Beta seemed a bit hesitant on the idea of watching a battle but gave a simple nod of her head deciding to go along with her twins plan, after all she didn't know pretty much anything so she had to trust his word for now. "So, who's fighting?" They made their way to their seats as she asked, turning their attention to the middle of the coliseum.
"Dunno, didn't really pay attention to who was fightin, think one of their names began with an S. Other then that beats me." He wasn't really too interested in the fight at hand, he knew his way around a brawl and that was enough for him.
There seemed to be quite a few digimon in the stands at the moment, Beta felt a bit overwhelmed but decided just to focus on the middle of the area instead for the fight to start.

Coal stared down at where her mother was fighting, watching her like a hawk. Here or there she saw blows traded; but none of them were particularly harmful. Coal would smile a bit when she saw the other digimon get their arse handed to them by her mother; she wasn’t necessarily the most skilled or even the strongest fighter out there but dear lord was her drive to keep going something many couldn’t keep up with. But it didn’t help that she was skilled and that she was strong. Often that trio of things meant victory in sparring like this.
Coal would adjust herself a bit as she noted a pair of hackmons taking their seats nearby; blinking a bit as she didn’t really understand what she was looking at. It looked to her that their cores were linked? Was this what her mother explained to her about ‘twins’. She’d consider for a moment asking and then after a few longer moments she’d work up the nerve to do so. Figuring that it couldn’t hurt to ask them such a question.
”Pardon me… are you two twins? It looks like your cores are linked somehow so… I thought to ask. It’s the first time I’ve seen something like that. And uh.. Sorry for looking but my eye sort of does that on it’s own.”
She always felt like following up with an apology for the fact her eye looked into someone’s core but it was practically memorizing with the way that the data spun and hummed in sync with one another. Dizzying if you stared at them for too long. She was wearing the same outfit as her mother down there but with different colors. No sigils of knighthood yet given that she hadn’t even figured out champion… much less ultimate. She’d manage an earnest smile to the both of them. Hoping that they would answer. But she also realized she forgot something important!
”Oh! And my name is Coal! What’s yours?”
Her smile was warm and friendly; even with the fight going on downstairs that she didn’t seem to be paying too much attention to. Given that she knew her mother was bound to win against this overzealous agumon evolution.

Beta was pretty focused on the battle, she seemed to mumble things to herself every time one of the opponents moved, sorta like she was predicting what was going to happen, sometimes just nodding to herself or surprised at another action that had been taken. It was pretty simple as far as sparring matches go but she was still very interested in what was going on, much to Alpha's surprise.
"Geez, I didn't think she'd be this into it. Guess no twin of mine can stay away from a fight. Wonder how she-" Alpha wasn't able to finish that thought as someone had started talking to him, breaking him out of focus for a moment and he looked at the newcomer with surprise. "Huh, oh uh yeah. Least that's what I've been told anyway," He still wasn't fully sworn in on this whole twin business but if someone was saying they're linked well, for starters that's really weird to know but interesting to hear.
Beta was still watching the battles with a mesmerized look on her face before hearing Coal say something else and snapping back to focus on what was going on. "Huh, Oh sorry." Despite not doing anything she said sorry just in case she messed something up.
"Nah it's cool, names Alpha. This is... uhh." It was then Alpha realized he didn't know his twins name, did she even have one? Considering she was trapped for so long it wasn't hard to believe she didn't have one.
"Beta, my name is Beta." She answered for him, well that answered that question. Where she got that name Alpha didn't know, maybe she just decided to relate to his name, who could tell with this digimon.
Deciding he should play nice Alpha gave his usual fake smile, though it was probably hard to see through his hood, then talked. "So Coal, nice name. You know about these fighters? We just got here." Deciding it was best to get information first before anything else, maybe they had some info, could be useful later.

Coal was fairly interested in the two sitting in front of her; she’d blink a little bit hearing what Alpha had to say about his twin. She’d flick her ears forward and just kind of muse over this. Why wasn’t her own twin linked with her in this way? Why didn’t they share that deep personal connection. She’d lean back and drum her fingers on her armrests.
”Oh that’s really cool!”
Coal beamed brightly; she was very interested in the two in front of her. She’d adjust her goggles back onto her face to get a proper look at the two. One was a hackmon much like you’d expect from the jesmon lines and the other was a hackmon of a completely different breed. Intertwined in such a way that made her wonder what sort of forms they’d take.
”It’s okay! It’s nice to meet the both of you!”
Coal blinked a little bit and staring down at the fighters that was going on; she’d manage to keep her smile even though there were the pair of them and the many digimon in this palace. Hearing that question she’d pause and glance down at the fighters.
”Oh yeah, that’s my ma down there. She’s fighting one of the trainers. That white renamon down there is her!”
The black-renamon-x pointed down at where her mother was; watching the fight somewhat aloofly. The renamon down there was far far more skilled than most of the ones in the stands. It wasn’t hard to piece together that she was playing around with this other trainer too…
”I think she’s probably gonna be done soon… She’s really the only one that I know about though unfortunately.”

Alpha looked down at the arena for a white Renamon, they were pretty easy to spot even from a distance. "Your ma huh? She seems pretty skilled." From where he was sitting it looked like Coal's mother wasn't trying too hard, like this was boring for them. "Hmm, she seems pretty tough." He made a mental note to himself, don't piss off this family, so he'd hafta play nice more then he usually did but it was probably worth it to make sure he didn't have to fight anyone's mom. Though he wondered what they wanted, approaching them like this instantly made Alpha a bit more worried. He was going to excuse the two of them but Beta started talking.
"She could of ended this match quite a while ago. Pretty easily too." Beta surmised watching the fight, it was pretty clear to most but Alpha was pretty surprised considering this was Beta's first time watching a fight.
"Huh, not bad for watching your first fight Beta." Alpha praised, maybe if she was this quick to pick up stuff like that fighting alongside her wouldn't be as much of a chore as he thought it would, but then she did something he didn't expect in the slightest.
"If she's ending it soon do you want to fight us when it's over?" Beta just asked bluntly to digimon she barely knew the name of. Alpha quickly got a look of shock on his face, reeling back a bit showing his face slightly under the hood.
"Beta, y-you can't just ask strangers to fight." At least he was pretty sure you weren't supposed to do that. Fighting was a last resort thing to him. Plus considering what he just saw from their mom below Alpha didn't want to imagine pissing off anyone related to them.
"Why not? They're sparring down there. I want to try fighting, never done it before." It seemed simple to Beta, if they were done fighting Alpha and Beta could spar with someone instead. This put Alpha at a confused loss of words for a few moments.

”Yeah! Though she can never win against Iko. He’s like her trainer and my trainer too. He’s like super duper duper skilled! Though when he fights me he doesn’t go all out like he does with my ma.”
Coal nodded her head a few times and crossed her arms; come to think of it they fought in varying levels. Champion, ultimate, mega and super mega. They were so strong and fast that it was hard for coal to keep up even with her own visual prowess. There was one time that she blinked and it felt like she missed an eternity of the two of them fighting.
”Oh yeah! Well a lot of the trainers around here aren’t as active as fighters that travel. Since she’s a knight she does a lot of patrols and learns new fighting techniques all the time. I bet she sees openings I don’t.”
Coal leaned forward somewhat eagerly; she was pretty happy watching her parent fight. With an flick of the wrist and spin on one foot Silence brought her sword up against the other’s throat. Practically ending the fight in an instant. The digimon down there was probably just appraising their fighter.
Coal paused and looked to beta as that question surfaced. She’d slowly blink, once, twice then thrice. Looking around as she wasn’t sure that she was being talked to. Given that there was no one in this section… Coal focused back to the both in front of her.
”Well… I don’t see why not. If it’s just a spar and not dangerous. Ma did say that I could do as I liked as long as I didn’t leave the stadium without her so…”
Coal stood up and it was dreadfully apparent unlike her mother she wasn’t as tall; but she still dwarfed the other two rookies. A pleasant smile was on her face and she’d wave at her ma who was striding towards the ‘bleachers’.
”Hey ma is it okay if I do a spar?”
The shutmon blinked a bit and looked up at her daughter for a moment before glancing back at the stadium. Was it really a good idea for her to fight in front of all of these people? The shutmon considered for a moment and then gave a thumbs up.
”Sure! Just don’t hurt yourself or them too badly all right? I’ll be watchin’ from the bleachers once I get up there.”
Coal grinned ear to ear and then turned to Alpha n beta. Giving them both a cheerful thumbs up. She had permission and these two wanted to fight!
”Well my ma says it’s okay! Just lets not get too scuffed up then! We should go sign up for a spar though so we don’t get trouble for just fighting down there without permission...”

Well this as quite the pickle for Alpha, he wasn't exactly that sure he'd want to fight anyone. Typically he'd run from fights or avoid them as much as he could. Here was his twin though just offering them up to the chopping block for all the people in this crowd to see. "Well we understand i- wait you said yes?" Just another shock to add to the pile, Alpha was slowly loosing grip on this whole plan thing he had going which was starting to annoy him but he had to remain with his calm façade. "I-I mean if it's just sparring I guess it's fine." As he said that though Coal stood up and she was a lot taller then him, which didn't help his nerves in the slightest.
Beta still had her eyes on the prize of fighting though, looking over at Coal's mom seeing the thumbs up made her smile. "Mhm, We'll do a spar safely." Beta added slightly copying how Coal had said it, if she was doing that on purpose or not was anyone's guess, even her own.
It seemed Alpha was now going to hafta sign up to fight in front of all these digimon. Part of him wanted to see if he could back out or just let Beta go without him but his pride wouldn't let him do either of those things, easing back with just a smile like he had the situation under control he got up from his seat. "Heh alright then, Beta just be careful. This is your first time fighting so just follow my lead." Beta gave a small nod as she got up as well both heading down to go sign up.
Part of Alpha was irked at how calm Coal was about fighting them, was it because she thought it'd be an easy win? He didn't get it but it was too late for that, it was time for him to just focus on what was ahead.

Coal blinked a little bit as she realized that the twins were probably expecting her to say something else, but given that her positive answer and her gentle smile seemed to add a bit of confusion to the situation coal couldn’t help but laugh softly.
”Well yeah, I need practice just as much as the next mon. I haven’t properly had a fight other than with my trainer.”
Coal didn’t exude confidence like her mother and her presence certainly wasn’t as overwhelming. She was kind, gentle and there was a tinge of nervousness in there that was probably due to her shyness kicking in with the sheer amount of people that would be watching their fight.
”Don’t worry though! I’m sure we’ll do fine!”
Silence seemed pleased with the answer as did coal; coal couldn’t help but giggle at the way that beta mimicked her a bit and well… It wasn’t too hard for them to go get signed up for a slot. They’d have to wait for a few minutes while the arena got prepped for their fight. They had to inspect for damages before letting the rookies out onto the floor…
Given well… Silence was really well known for her destructive tendencies; so seeing that it was in tip top shape left the hosts a little confused. Coal would walk out first onto the arena floor before stretching; humming to herself as the black-renamon-x had to figure out what sort of approach she’d have to take to fighting twins. Being outnumbered was usually a bad thing but a part of her felt that this spar was going to be laxer than her training with iko.
”Well just lemme know when you’re ready! We’ve got this place for about an hour I think?”
Coal somehow doubted that she or the twins had that sort of endurance even if her mother could push for fights longer than that by a mile. She’d glance up to where her mother was sitting; the shutmon was now going over some kind of holo projection. Noticing that her daughter was now out that’d vanish and she’d give a cheerful wave which coal would return a bit nervously.

The few minutes before they went out to the place had Alpha on pins and needles, though it would've been impossible to tell thanks to his hood, calming himself down he decided to look at this as a learning experience. He had no idea how Beta would fight or even if they could do anything close to fighting. Better to find out here then out in the middle of a dangerous spot. Win or lose should be a good experience.... But Alpha really wanted to win. Deciding this would all work to his favor in the end he just waited for their time to come up.
Beta on the other hand seemed really focused on the task at hand, while waiting she did a few quick stretches' extending her arms and legs out trying her best to get all the tightness her body had from all that time she spent asleep, she still felt a bit tired but she was as ready as she'd ever be for the task at hand, eventually the two were allowed onto the field.
It was in pretty good condition Alpha had to admit, looking around at the crowd around him he simply took in a small breath and composed himself, just ignore them and focus on the fight at hand. "Alright, two on one so this should be in our favor Beta." Despite not having worked with her in his entire life they still had a numbers advantage.
Beta just nodded getting in a ready position herself eyes narrow, a lot more focused then Alpha would assume. "Alright, I'm ready."
Alpha let his cloak fall down more as he extended his claws out showing the bright red, thinking about coating them in poison real quick before the fight started... Nah too many people, he was sure someone would notice. "Alright, don't think we'll last an hour but I'm ready also. You can have the first move." Deciding reacting to what they do instead of attacking would be safer.

Coal wasn’t sure what she expected here from the two in front of her; they were both so varied and both of them looked like they could encompass different veins of power. If she had to guess Alpha was a powerhouse type while beta would be someone more supportive. Or the other way around. It was going to be difficult for her to figure that out from the get go given her limited experience. But usually from what she was told twins had a certain level of synergy between one another. It just meant she had to push a little harder against a set of twins right? Or should she really take this easy? She’d bite her lip and glance up at where her mother was sitting. She’d exhale slowly and then pull her goggles downto where they would hang around her neck like a necklace. While being firmly snug against her outfit. Hearing that the both of them were ready and that they’d give her the first move coal nodded. Slowly adjusting her footing so that she was taking a wide stance; perfect for defensive and ranged motions while also allowing for her to quickly switch if need be. Her first movement was a quick flick of her wrist… Which would from her shadow call upon an array of shadow like tendrils, shaped into swords for her convenience. It wouldn’t be till her fingers moved again that they would take any motion. Hurtling towards the twins in two pronged attack. There was plenty of them enough for each twin to get their own attack; it seemed like while this was coal’s first fight she wasn’t exactly what you’d call an absolute novice. She knew her own moves inside and out. She also knew with there being two opponents that her opening salvo had to be strong. She couldn’t just half and half it. ”All right! Just lemme know when or if you wanna stop!” Log: -Coal used Shadow Dance x2 to target both Alpha and Beta! Passives: RAM UPGRADE] Visions of Darkness|Combat Passive: Simple night vision, she can see perfectly in the dark using her left eye. It's as bright as day but it's difficult if not outright painful for her to use in actual bright spaces. Can be blocked if something physically covers the eye.
Visions of Purity|Non-combat Passive Her left eye is fairly powerful, with night vision already she is able to additionally see the lines in digital coding. Allowing her to see someone's data as though it was 0's and 1's. Even down to the wire-frame and core. It doesn't do much for her and is quite a nasty headache if she doesn't cover up somehow... Moves: Shadow Dance: Coal can control and manipulate shadows, forming blades and weapons out of them in such a way. Tendrils are her most common use and she can use these shadows to attack anyone within a 50 foot range of herself. Deals high damage. Requires simple gesture or movement to execute. Her own shadow is often more than not the source of this attack.

Alpha didn't know what to expect out of Coal, given she was a Dark Renamon and the name part of him figured it would have something to do with darkness. That would be pretty bad for him as he'd probably have his own power over the dark be cancelled out. His idea proved right as she made swords out of what seemed to be darkness itself, waiting a moment before shooting both of them at both Alpha and Beta. Thinking fast Alpha made a move to get out of the way of the attack, quickly running to his left side dragging his claws along the ground as he did so creating a dark cloud that slowly moved over covering himself and Coal in the dark. While in the darkness Alpha could see perfectly well, not knowing that Coal could see as well. Holding his claw up he sliced downward shooting out a Red claw shaped projectile out of the dark cloud and towards Coal. Beta on the other hand didn't move out of the way of the attack, narrowing her eyes she ran forward getting hit by the sword as she advanced, letting out a small grunt of pain as the attack hit. Afterwards though her body started to glow with a faint light, she felt herself getting stronger. Getting hurt fueling her want to deal damage back towards who hurt her. After covering some distance Beta leapt into the air before coming down hard like a brick towards Coal, whether she hit Coal or not was irrelevant as the ground underneath her point of impact would shake and crack causing a shockwave that extended 10 meters around herself, which also just happened to be a distance Alpha was in as well. Not prepared to see that Alpha wasn't able to jump or move in time to get out of the way so the shockwave hit him back knocking him out of the shadows, quickly he recovered getting back on his feet. " A bit of a warning next time would be great Beta." He shouted as he shook it off, focus back on the match.
Beta Passives Combat High: The rush of combat, each strike taken fulling their desire to dish it back out with even more force causes Beta to get stronger every time she takes a hit from an enemy. Each hit taken adds a stack to this ability increasing her attack power by 10% per stack capping at 50% this stack can only increase by 1 stack per post. every two posts Beta goes without getting hit lowers the stack by 1. 1 stack currently. 2 post till down.
Flowing Movement: Each strike causes Beta to feel more at one with the rush of combat, blow after blow her stance gets better, she gets more focused becoming stronger the longer she fights and harder to take down. Every time Beta deals damage with an attack this passive gains 1 stack increasing her defense by 10% per stack capping out at 50% increase at 5 stacks. Every 2 posts lowers these stacks by 1 and Beta can only gain 1 stack per post. 1 stack currently (From hitting Alpha) 2 post till down. Beta Moves: Ground Smasher: Leaps high into the air before coming down like a rock right onto the enemy, smashes into them with her full body weight causing the ground 10 meters around the point of impact to be cracked and broken, dealing light damage to any within that field as well. 3 post cool down. 0/3 cooldown. Alpha Moves: Blade of Darkness: Creates a large dark cloud around the opponent, covering the space between him and the enemy in shadows, hiding away from them for a moment before throwing out a large red claw projectile from the darkness. 3 post cool down. Coal was staring quietly at the two of them; seeing what sort of motions they would make. Seeing that Alpha made some kind of dragging move initially made the renamon think that he had something to do with earth. Only to see a dark cloud spring into being. There wasn’t much surprise here but in terms of a team fight she figured that if they were on the same side; she and alpha would synergize somewhat well. But they weren’t in a team fight; they were fighting against one another. And she was in the middle of their attacks. With that red projectile coming towards her the renamon rolled out of the way with ease; she bet that if someone couldn’t see they wouldn’t be able to avoid that all too easily. So the fact that she rolled and came up; both eyes settling on alpha would definitely let him know that she wasn’t even affected by his ability. Coal blinked a bit as she looked about; not seeing where beta had went. Only adjusting her head ever so slightly; getting to see beta come down like a rock. Given she wasn’t where she had been initially… Well ten meters was a large distance and while she couldn’t avoid the attack she at least was able to adjust herself so she wouldn’t fall over. So she had it all wrong. But that was fine; flexing her inner power the renamon’s left eye jolted open and out of it launched a large powerful spear. She wasn’t aiming directly at Alpha, figuring that if he saw it coming he’d favor the direction he was going already so she’d aim a little bit more to the left. Even if it missed alpha would see it hit the ground and practically shred through the earth until it was stopped by a powerful ‘clang’ of the digichrome this place was made out of. In her other hand? A large length of chains had been summoned out of the darkness around her. Huffing with exertion the renamon threw the chains at beta; they weren’t really anything other than shadow so they shouldn’t hurt as badly as the spear. That and getting slowed. But seeing that they weren’t really synergized really slammed in home to coal as to what she should be doing. Making sure that she replied with whatever attacks they made to her with her own… Log: -Coal avoided the damage portion of blade of darkness only to be hit by beta's ground smasher! [Thankfully not directly] -Coal returned the favor by using Visions on Alpha and Weight of Darkness on Beta! Moves: Visions: Coal can use her eye to project a deadly but powerful shadow spear. Appears as heavy dark chains to bind around target's limbs. 30 foot range. Two post cooldown. Medium damage. Cooldowns: WOD: 0/2 V: 0/3 Durations: WOD: 0/2 Passives: [RAM UPGRADE] Visions of Darkness|Combat Passive: Simple night vision, she can see perfectly in the dark using her left eye. Alpha could easily feel he was losing control of the situation, with a quick shake of his head he regained his composure and focused on the fight at hand. Beta's move did one thing good, while she didn't hit Coal head on she at least got them with the shockwave like they did with Alpha. Still he couldn't see any mark from his attack meaning she must of avoided it. Well that proved his theory so he could drop the formalities with his dark clouds. There was no getting around it though unless he was able to blind her eyes which he doubted Beta had any technique that could do that. Watching her left eye jolt open Alpha was pretty surprised to see a spear come out of it, the initial shock wore off as quickly as it came however and he made a move to get out of the way, however it seemed Coal had planned for where he went, managed to stop himself before he got impaled but didn't manage to avoid the spear entirely, grazing the side of his arm as he made a back dash out of the direct line of fire. Exhaling a bit feeling a decent amount of pain shoot up. Alpha pushed it down though and focused back on Coal. Alpha started moving closer to Coal with his claws extended. " Beta, on me." He called to his twin trying to do a pincer attack with Coal right in the middle. Beta took a moment to recover from landing so hard, it was a bit intense but she managed to get her focus back just in time for herself to be wrapped up by a bunch of chains, blinking for a bit as they wrapped up her limbs. She could feel the weight of them but it was a bit too late to do anything about it now. Luckily she was still pretty close to Coal so even with the lower speed she heard Alpha and dashed over. Both extended their claws out aiming a pretty basic strike at the Renamon at the same time, finally showing a bit of synergy at least.

Coal felt like this was going pretty smoothly for everyone involved even if the twins in front of her weren’t very synergized. Seeing that her spear almost hit Alpha and the chains weighed Beta down made her feel a bit better about using such powerful attacks in conjunction. She’d grit her teeth a little bit seeing that they weren’t daunted by those attacks. It left only two options for her; using her charge ability or more of her shadow attacks. There was also the fact that she could use another ability to lessen the damage from the two of them but that felt like a catch 22. Given once in it she herself couldn’t attack. Growling the renamon kicked back as they approached; giving her a little bit of time before their swings would connect. If they both wanted to hit her and get into close range then she’d just use that to her advantage. They’d have a rough time dodging shadows from all around them wouldn’t they. Both her hands made motions, one for alpha and one for beta. She’d use the shadows of alpha to strike at beta while using her own to strike at Alpha. That way it’d cushion the blows of the both of them a bit. Pushing beta off center would also mean maybe she could spin out of the way of alpha’s attack? But that seemed like too much as the shadows formed, launching at both of her targets while coal herself grunted as the claws struck home. Skidding back and then stopping a good few feet away while her attacks worked to launch at their targets! Log: -Coal altered her distance just a bit to help buy her a bit of time to use her own attacks while the twins landed their own!
Move: Shadow Dance: Coal can control and manipulate shadows, forming blades and weapons out of them in such a way. Tendrils are her most common use and she can use these shadows to attack anyone within a 50 foot range of herself. Deals high damage. Requires simple gesture or movement to execute. Her own shadow is often more than not the source of this attack. Cooldowns: WOD: 0/2 V: ⅓ Durations: WOD: 1/2

Alpha couldn't help but Smirk as his attack hit it's mark, Beta got her attack in as well giving the digimon a bit more confidence on this whole fighting thing. They actually managed to land a good hit together, which as definitely a first for the Hackmon. However what he didn't notice was while he was moving to the side of Beta his claw managed to clip against his own after the strike landed it's mark. Considering Beta seemed to be a lot tougher then him she didn't move, however getting clipped caused Alpha to lose his balance and hit the ground, right on the arm that the spear grazed. Swearing internally to himself as he couldn't ignore the pain that well he got up trying his best to shake it off, however as he did out of the corner of his eye he noticed Coal's shadow start to move, recalling from her first attack this wasn't good. Scrambling Alpha tried to move but he wasn't able to get up fast enough and the attack hit it's mark once again sending the Hackmon face planting to the ground. " Tch, freggin shadows." He muttered under his breath. He wasn't ready to call it quits but the hits he had taken were already hurting pretty bad, he wasn't used to getting hurt like this. Beta on the other hand took clipping against her twin in stride, turning back and seeing Alpha hit the ground. " Alpha, you Oka-" She tried calling out but then saw the shadow of Alpha move and come right for her, taking another direct hit she simply grunted seemingly ignoring the pain it inflicted as the white aura around her simply got brighter. Alpha took note of this and wondered just why she wasn't dodging, that aura she had though seemed to get stronger the more she got hit though. " Is that why I bounced off her? Is, Is she getting stronger the more she gets hit?" It made sense, they should be around the same strength but when Alpha accidentally hit her claws he simply bounced off. Beta then decided to rush at Coal for another strike, however Alpha was still getting his breath back leaving him open for now.
