With his tablet on his lap, Rudolf was typing uo a document as fast as humanly possible. Of cousin he wasnt human anymore, but the static motion of his typing speed hadn't changed. Recently making some astounding breakthroughs in reading the code of DigiScript that contained his Digivices schematic, he was creating a domain on the tamernet for other Spirit Wielders to understand their Digivice too. The designer of his Digivice was truly a genius, and Rudi was sure others were capable of such ingenuity. Hoping to unite the tamer community in utilizing their Digivices more efficiently, Rudi was typing away.
During Rudolfs previous exploration of the Digivice, he learned a lot by just scrolling through the 3 panel menus. Besides the simple things like scanning, Digivolving, modifying code, using the browser, monitoring Digital Code, processing Fractal Patterns and storing Digimon; the Spirit Wielders Digivice had the potential to be incredibly unique when constructed through Fractal DigiScript of the Spirit Totem it is connected to. Rudolf imagined that Digimon who became Totems could pass more than just knowledge and technology through the Digivices that became bonded to their souls; and he was writing all about it on the tamernet.
In the case of the Divine Fire Totem, the Spirit responsible for becoming the Totem had a plethora of Fractal Data integrated into his own fractal DigiCore by his lifetime of study, battle and record keeping. When his body passed on and his form crystalized into the Fractal DigiScript that would create the Totem, all of Apollomons written word was stored in the code of the Totem. While this meant his Digivice was incredibly knowledgable, Rudi did not gain the same sort of battle knowledge as other Spirit Wielders were blessed with by the fusion of their Totem.
When his Divine Fractal Code was rewritten into DigiScript Apollomons experience and understanding of the world was reprocessed by the Digital World. Eventually this Digital Script of Divine Fire would manifest as a Totem by collecting errant Fractal Patterns, however thanks to Apollomons studious experimentation his death acted as a catalyst for most of this process. Instead of the totem cultivating itself within the Digital Worlds Core, it used Apollomons own Fractal Coding to manifest itself as he died. Not only did this mean his Spirit Totem would emerge through a Digivice sooner than usual, it also meant he was able to largely imprint his Totem before death.
For Rudolf this meant his Digivice was astonishingly advanced technologically. Apollomon had access to incredibly innovative coding, and utilized his own collection of Fractal Data to design high functioning software he used during his lifetime of work for Sol Ymir. Completely user friendly and filled with advanced diagnostics, Rudolf was very lucky. Figuring someone else out there had a similar shade of luck, he set out to understand his Digivice better and share the knowledge like his Spirit Guide had done for him.
The following is a report of his Digivice, with all of Apollomons modifications noted as well.
Physical Form
All red, with a speaker embedded inside, the glass lense covering the touchscreen takes up the top half of the Digivice. There is also mechanically inclined rubber buttons on the edges of this Digivice. Made of hard black rubber there are two thin buttons on each side of the Digivice that click satisfyingly when pressed. On the bottom is another, with one also on the top.
Each button as an assigned purpose.
Top - Scan Application
Top Left - Portal Application
Top Right - Digivolution Application
Bottom - DigiMod Application
Bottom Left - DigiFarm Application
Bottom Right - Sol Ymir Application
Dimensions: 4 inches long, 3 inches wide with a quarter inch thickness. Screen Size is 3 inches long, and nearly 3 inches wide.
Application Process
Tied to each button is an application with various process each, all of which are accessible while Digivolved. As well the Digivice has 3 menu panels on its screen, each containing a two fold Application for the user to access. While extremely complicated coding, these Applications can be easily understood, and their process will be detailed among them.
Button Applications:
The Scan Application is the most straight forward of the mechanical applications installed on the Digivice. After pressing the button the Digivice emits a digital wavelength that scans any sort of Digital Code. This application is used to identify Digimon and any other kind of Digital Code. Capable of collecting data on Fractal Code, Digital Code and DigiScript. The Scan Application can identify objects of Digital origin, beings of Digital Origin and a wide variety of area scopes with Digital Origin. Areas can be actual servers, coordinates within areas, or even coordinates of areas within servers. Perhaps the most important functional buttons, this Application serves to keep the Digivice updated.
The Portal Application is another basic function of the Digivice. By inputting coordinates the owner of this Digivice is able to cross warp points into specific areas of the Digital World. With further augmentation this application supports the Digivice in creating literal Warp portals to and from the Digital World.
The most widely used application of the Digivice is the Digivolution Application. The user presses the button once, and the screen displays a menu. The various symbols of their unlocked Digivolution line are to be chosen from, then the user presses the button again and Digivolution occurs.
The DigiMod application is one of the most intuitive of application presentations installed on the Digivice. By clicking the button the Tamer is able to use DigiCard codes to modify this Digital Form. Of course to use this Application they must invest in the main software. Until then the button remains locked.
The DigiFarm application is just that. By accessing their domain which is properly owned in the Digital World by pressing the button, the user is able to enter their DigiFarm. Since this DigiFarm is property leased in the Digital World it can be accessed anywhere. The user opens a portal when they press the button, and when they want to leave they press it again. While in their Digital Farm the Tamers location is technically wherever the property is from, however the location is encrypted by a private server contained by the legal owner of the DigiFarm. The user cannot leave their farm to another place in the Digital World, and only Digimon who have already been there have access to its domain.
The Sol Ymir is the prodigal love child of the Spirit Guide who created the Totem houses inside of the Digivice. Unique to Rudolfs Digivice, this application is a comprehensive record of his Spirit Guides entire personal writings. Everything he ever encoded, wrote in text, and recorded is housed inside of this app. Connected to the application is Apollomons journal, quest log, and ancestral line.
Menu Applications:
The 3 menu applications are Library, TamerNet, and Diagnostics. These three Menu Applications are displayed in three screens on the touchscreen. By swiping left or right the user can cycle through the menus of each. The three Menu Apps have 2 process each.
The Library menu is aptly named. This screen has a summary of all the files stored on their Digivice. By clicking the Writing Process prompt, the user is able to record information as a new document. These documents can be scripted as varied as new applications or just simply Wordpad documents. On the other side of where this Menu details the various folders of all the stored data, the user is also alerted of any processing progress the Digivice is undertaking through the Reading Process of this app. By utilizing the Reading Process the user can have their Digivice process any Scanned data in the background.
The TamerNet menu has two processes. The first is Browse, which allows the user to explore the tamernet through their Digivice. The second is Host, which allows the Tamer to maintain a server on the tamernet. On the main screen of this app is any bookmarked pages, chat rooms, a music player, and the status of hosted servers.
The Diagnostics menu app is perhaps the most useful, since it does exactly as described. On the main screen the user can view every aspect of statistical information the Digivice hosts. This extremely varied list includes Digimon status, Digivice status, Bit count, Digital Inventory, and Experience Data. The first process of this menu is the Setting process. Through this the user is able to change personal settings of their Digivice such as HUD configuration or how different applications are displayed on the Digivice. The other process of this menu is the Market. Linking their Bit Wallet to this menu allows the user to access the Digital Market from their digivice.
