"Well, the more time we spend in the Digital World, the more sense the place makes, so I don't think it's too bad. Besides, Gabumon's pretty good at running away so if there's a danger we can't face, I'm not too worried. Plus Natsu and I did some shopping over in Terminus a while back and stocked up on a whole bunch of cool stuff. Apparently card games in the Digital World are like, super awesome!" Natsu leaned back, much more comfortable and casual than earlier.
She took a bite of her burger as Luneth spoke, getting a ketchup stain on her chin but either didn't notice or didn't seem to care. "Yeah, I noticed that with Digimon, eating is more like... stopping at a gas station or something. The effects seem to be almost instantaneous! But feel free to call us anytime to spar! I want to see how all kinds of Digimon fight! Less to be surprised about in a life or death situation! Gaomon's an idiot who only charges forward, but that makes him easier to plan for, you know? And Natsu can get control of him pretty easily. Gabumon's pretty open to my advice, even if he doesn't always understand it."
She was about to get Luneth's number before one of the twins from earlier screeched something about a bunny and ran out like a crazy woman, nearly steamrolling Natsu as she was coming back from her "needing to step out for a bit". She was going to ask them what was going on, but then the crazy woman's sister filled them in, even showing them an image of what was clearly a large rabbit Digimon, looking confused.
Natsu dryly muttered "We can't even have a normal meal these days, can we...?"
Meanwhile, Haru pulled out her Digivice, which looked pretty much identical to a smartphone, and powered on her digiport, just in case. The five minute charge time was kind of a pain, though. "Well... we probably shouldn't ignore this, right Lu?" She nodded towards the disguised Digimon. "Might as well see what this big guy's deal is. Even if he's not dangerous, he might be lost or something."

"Ah, the two of you purchased D-Arcs, then?" Luneth asked, a smile on his face. "My father's partner has one of them as well. They truly are quite wondrous, granting an additional power boost to a Digimon as effortlessly as that. I believe there are even versions for Digimon who do not have partners, such as myself."
Haru then went on to compare a Digimon eating to stopping at a gas station. He had heard of them before thanks to Adrian but knowing how they work was another story. "As a Hackmon who does not own a car, does not know how to drive and does not intend to learn... the comparison is lost on me, I must admit. Care to explain?"
So Gaomon's the type to just rush into battle, and Gabumon is more open to battle strategies... an interesting pair. "Running into battle sounds a lot like how I prefer to do things," Luneth said with a laugh. "My mother's more of the strategist type. Despite my high grades, I do not consider myself to be smart at all."
Now that Natsu had returned, they now had to deal with the elephant in the room... or rather, the bunny in the mall. "I agree," Luneth said to Haru, "we do not know what a Digimon is doing here, but I'm proof that we aren't all up to nefarious deeds. Still, we have to check just to be sure."
Quickly finishing up his meal, Luneth would then dash out the restaurant, hopefully with Haru and Natsu close behind. He knew the area that the giant bunny was presumably in, which was the main plaza, so it wouldn't take long for them to get there. And sure enough, a giant crowd was seen surrounding the very confused looking big yellow bunny. "Why are they all staring at me like that...?" he would ask out loud.
"He must think he has a holosuit on," Luneth whispered to the twins. "I have an idea, all you need to do is back me up on this one."
Luneth would then walk past the crowd and walk right up to the giant yellow bunny Digimon. "Oh THERE you are! If it weren't for Twitter I would've thought you flaked on us."
"I'm... sorry?" The Digimon seemed even more confused than before.
"You're entertaining our little sister's birthday party, remember? This mall's confusing, I know. Just come with us, we'll show you the way to the place we're set up at."

"Yeah, that's pretty much what the guy selling them said. Though I imagined that his hair would have been... spikier, for some reason..." She shrugged and continued on. Luneth asked "how to car" and Haru had to remind herself that the person in front of her was practically an alien, still. But... didn't they have vehicles in the Digital World, too? Haru wanted to get one, but Natsu forbade it until Haru had gotten a license here in this world. Plus Gabumon seemed offended that she didn't seem to want to ride him anymore. "Oh, well... it's like being able to recharge a battery or whatever, but really quickly, you know?" She really wasn't sure herself, to be honest.
Luneth gave an honest opinion of his strategic capabilities, and Haru just nodded in agreement. "Getting good grades is just... memorizing stuff and then everything becomes obvious. But there's different ways of being smart, so I think you're fine. Probably." Though Haru was probably the worst person to console others in that matter. Natsu had to spend entire hours studying for classes, only to still get lower test scores than Haru. And she would then get annoyed at Haru whenever she offered to help her study. It was something that confounded Haru to this day.
But all that was in the past! Now it was time for the three of them to take care of their little bunny problem. Luneth asked for their support, and the sisters looked to each other and nodded. They let him take the lead, and once he gave their cover story, they realized that it was something they could work with. The sisters didn't even need to say anything to each other. Instead, they stepped a little bit behind Luneth with a starstruck look on their face.
"Oh..." Haru muttered.
"Em..." Natsu continued.
"GEEEEE!" The two practically squealed, channeling the same kind of energy as that excited girl from before. The two ran up to the Angoramon with sparking eyes as if in awe of his cute fuzziness.
Haru turned around to face Luneth and said, perhaps a little too loudly, "Lu, you were so right! He is totes cuter in person than on the website! Sayo-chan's gonna be like, super excited when she sees him!"
And while Haru was practically shouting and making attention for herself, Natsu spoke softly, but clear enough for the rabbit Digimon in front of them to hear. "I think your holosuit's malfunctioning, or you left it at home. But you're getting a little too much attention here in our world. If you come with us, we can take you somewhere more private. Plus there'll be a free meal, on us!"

"Spikier hair?" Luneth asked, tilting his head a bit. The 'mon had never seen the popular card game anime before, so the reference flew right over his head. "What makes you say that? What does spiky hair have to do with playing card games?"
Oh, so filling a car up with gas is like the fast version of charging a battery? And that's what feeding a Digimon is like? That all made sense to Luneth now. "When you put it that way then yeah, it is quite similar. When Digimon eat, the food is converted into the very energy that powers up our abilities. It depletes much slower when we are not fighting, like a fast version of a human's metabolism. It's why we must eat in between fights, otherwise we'll have no power. Not to mention the feeling of starvation."
Luneth chuckled. "Yeah, getting good grades is indeed just memorizing stuff. But it's something that I myself am good at. I think humans call it a photographic memory? The notes I write down during class help too."
With the bunny Digimon situation, Luneth was very pleased to see Haru and Natsu both effortlessly playing along with Luneth's act. It seemed to be working too, as the crowd was now less concerned and more impressed with how great the costume design is! While Luneth and Haru were hamming it up for the audience, Natsu would quietly alert the bunny Digimon that his holosuit was off. "Wait, it is?" he said, looking down at his hand. Sure enough, it was huge and covered with yellow fur. "It must be fritzing out again. Thank you for letting me kno-"
"GIANT BUNNYYYYYY!!!!" The same red haired girl from before cheered as she entered the scene from seemingly out of nowhere, leaping up and glomping the bunny, though thankfully he had enough strength to stay upright. "Oh my gosh, your suit's fur is so soft! Where did you get it?!"
Suddenly the crowd started asking similar questions. "Where did you get that suit?" "Can you entertain at my kid's party?" "How much do you charge?" "Can I feel your suit please?"
This was not how Luneth imagined his plan going in the slightest. The surrounding crowd was starting to get restless with all the questions and demand for the giant bunny's entertaining services. Luneth looked at the bunny... then at the twins... and quietly said, "I believe we should start running now."

For a bit Haru and Natsu gave Luneth a grin as the plan had worked perfectly. Then the crazy red-head from earlier came up and totes invaded the Angoramon's personal space. And then the people who were just staring earlier began to interact a little bit more.
Haru couldn't help but smile to herself at the ridiculousness of the situation, though. She gave Luneth a wink, then stood behind Natsu so that their backs were facing each other. The two held their hands behind their backs, each one holding a little object. Natsu held her Digivice, her D-Arc app already open while Haru held a single card. Using their bodies to subtly scan the card, focusing its effects on the large rabbit Digimon nearby.
And soon, thanks to their Chameleon Cape card, the crowd would see the dude in the super-realistic rabbit costume would just vanish before their eyes. It would probably be helpful, considering a giant bunny man making a break for it would probably attract a lot more undue attention.
...yep. That was a thing they did. And if Luneth decided to run, it should just be assumed they ran with him.

It is truly a wonder how much this situation has escalated, Luneth thought as he looked back and forth at all the clamoring humans. Even the Angoramon looked as if he was taken aback by all of this.
Then Luneth glanced at Haru, who appeared to be winking. Did they have a plan to get the group out of this? It seemed they did, as she and Haru would then go back-to-back, with Natsu holding her Digivice and Haru holding a single card. It didn't take long at all for it to click like Lego pieces for Luneth.
The D-Arc!
The two twins slid the card, and just like that the Angoramon beside them vanished into thin air. The crowd was very confused. They stop their rowdiness for a few moments, mostly because they just had no clue what even happened in the first place, the red-headed girl most of all. "What? But where did... he was just here, wasn't he?"
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" A man with an afro, mustache and pink shirt suddenly screamed from within the crowd. "The large bunny disappeared!"
That was the moment where the crowd got rowdy again, as a big entertainer in a fluffy bunny suit doesn't just disappear like that. Thankfully, not a single one of them seemed to remember that Luneth or the twins were still there, allowing them all to run off without attracting any more attention. "This way," Luneth told the others as he led them to a more secretive part of the mall, the kind where no one would be walking by to see what was going on.
"I apologize for getting you all in that situation," the Angoramon's voice could be heard, though thanks to Chameleon Cape he was still invisible. "I had truly believed my holosuit was functional... I might need to purchase a new one before I come back. How can I repay you all?"

The twins couldn't help but have a dopey smile on their face as the followed Luneth to a more secluded part of the mall. Probably in front of some old mom&pop shop or something.
"That didn't exactly go as planned, but..." Natsu let out a sigh of relief, regardless.
"I'd say we handled that pretty well! Plus, when all that goes online it's gonna look like quite the magic trick!" Haru added with a grin. She turned to where the Angoramon's voice was coming from. "But don't settle for those bargain-bin holosuits, you know! They're pretty important so never settle for anything less for the good stuff!"
"Says the person who always blows all their allowance..." Natsu muttered.
"Hehe... busted!" Haru snickered for a second before getting down to brass tacks. She threw her arm around Natsu's shoulders in a one-armed hug, their faces centimeters apart. Natsu squirmed a bit in response, but didn't break the hold, looking more embarrassed than offended. "Anyways, it's nice to meet ya, buddy! I'm Haru, and this ultra-gorgeous girl besides me is Natsu! We're siblings... if you couldn't already tell!" She gestured her other arm to pull Luneth into the embrace. "And this here is our friend Luneth! He can tell ya more about himself if he wants, but I'd say the two of you have a bit in common!"
Haru let go of the pair and patted them on the back, while Natsu stood up straight. "Weird circumstances aside, it's nice to meet you!" She added.

"It could've gone a lot better, but it also could've been a whole lot worse as well," Luneth said with the same dopey smile that the twins currently had. "I truly wonder if the event will go, as you humans say, 'viral.' It is not every day that a large bunny Digimon up and disappears in front of a sea of people."
"Thank you again, by the way," said large bunny spoke up. "I am Arlo, by the way. You three did not have to stick your necks out for someone like me, yet you did anyways. I am truly in your debt."
Haru and Natsu would then properly introduce themselves as well as Luneth, as evidenced by pulling the disguised Digimon into their embrace. "Right. I am Luneth, it is a pleasure to meet you," Luneth said as he pulled himself away from the twins. "I am a Hackmon in holosuit, and those two are Tamers. That's how we knew what you are right away."
"A Hackmon, you say... you wouldn't happen to be able to Digivolve, correct?"
"Yes, I can. Why?"
"Well, as it just so happens, I've been looking for hired help. I run a traveling bakery that goes around all the Digital World, and lately it has been hard for me to keep up with all the dangers that exist while traveling. I know some fighting skills, but I am not a fighter myself. Thus, I need some help with protection and an extra hand with running the bakery, as well. I'm willing to pay well, too. What do you say?"
"I... how do you know I'm the right fit?" Luneth asked.
Arlo shrugged in response. "I get the sense that you're a fighter at heart. I understand if you do not wish to take the offer, but it did not hurt to ask. What do you say?"
"I... don't know," Luneth said, looking back at Haru and Natsu. "If I did accept, I'd have to leave school. Leave Shibuya. I don't know if I can do that quite yet..."

Bunny man's name was Arlo, and he owned a traveling bakery! That sounded neat... maybe Haru and Natsu would encounter a traveling restaurant of their own one day... like that would ever happen! Chances were, there was only one traveling food place with an Angoramon working there!
But irrelevant foreshadowing aside, it sounded like a neat opportunity, even if it was a little dangerous! But Luneth seemed a little more than hesitant on the matter. Haru grinned before shrugging and raising her hand. "Well, if Lu isn't gonna do it, I got a partner who's pretty tough, and a sister with a tough partner of her own! If you're hiring, I'll..." She felt Natsu's knuckle rap against the back of her head as she let out half-cry, half-chuckle.
"There's no way we can just upend our lives like that!" Natsu commented while Haru just waved off her words. "Plus we're not old enough to be working yet!"
"I know, I know! I was just kidding... mostly," She leaned in and patted Luneth on the shoulder, pointing up a finger. "You should at least give it a try, though! A week in the other world is only about a day over here, right? So just take a couple days off from school, and give it an honest shot! If it ain't for you, you're a good enough student that you won't fall behind!"
Natsu offered Luneth a smile, though it was a little sad, too. They were just getting to know Luneth better, and here came the possibility that he was gonna be moving away. She couldn't help but feel a little bitter about that. But that was more a her-problem than anything else. "And it won't be like you'd be gone for good, right? Haru and I can visit you in the Digital World, and even help you keep up with your studies, if you'd like!"
"Besides, it's not like it'd be a permanent thing," Haru reasoned. "If the business takes off, Arlo over here can afford to bring on an extra hand or two to cover for you, and after that, home's just a 5-minute Digiport charge time away!" Haru and Natsu nodded towards each other, and Natsu continued.
"And until then, any time you wanna visit your friends or your family, just give us a ring! If it's only for a little bit, we'll fill in for you, free of charge!"
Haru looked up thoughtfully before correcting her sister. "Well... small charge! Whatever the price of cinnamon raisin bread is!"
