Sylvia wanders her way around Hachiko Square, hands held firmly in her pockets as she takes a few peeks around. She was just in an electronics store that had a TV on playing the news, and clips of monsters within Hachiko Square and other places. One of those "What do we really know? Where did they come from, and where did they go?" segments. Sylvia doubted that there was anything that was going to show that these monsters were a thing... But what else did she have to do today? She's eaten, her clothes are fine at the moment, and Hachiko Square is at least a tourist spot, so she might be able to klep a few hundred yen even if she doesn't see anything that proves the monsters are real.
But looking around the square... It's pretty well cleaned up. Guess that was to be expected, since this event was two years ago. Sylvia takes a sigh. "...I shoulda known that there'd be nothing. Why did I actually bother coming out here?" She mutters to herself before throwing her head back and looking up at the statue of Hachiko. "...Shame you were more loyal than my family." She says after a moment, before shaking her head. What was she doing, waxing nostalgic for a life she fled? Maybe the food she stole wasn't all that good after all.

Golden Week.
However long ago it was, it was a significant phrase for the two guised Digimon wandering the square. They seemed the same age, given their holosuits, yet the way they carried themselves was rather guarded, unsure of what they should be doing here. It was...surreal seeing all the damage THEY had caused repaired, all of what had happened seeming to have no traces left behind...
"A normal day." Scarab spoke, peering about. "This is what a normal day's like here, yet..."
"This was the most important place we had been to here, wasn't it?" Gyo replied in kind. Holosuits are in the profile, if you wish to view them. "What ever did happen to that one Bearmon? The really annoying one?"
"Who...?" Scarab stared. "Also, voice down. ...Secrets to keep." He gestured around to the crowd. A single person stood out at the statue, lamenting a life lost, and lamenting a lack of loyalty.
It stung, it sounded a little familiar. Gyo decided to approach. "Yo, you good?" He'd ask the lady. Why not?

The girl turns her attention to Gyo and shrugs non-chalantly. "...Maybe. Maybe not. What's it to you?" She asks somewhat bluntly, before shaking her head. "...Alright, I do have an odd question for you."
She looks the disguised Veemon over, unaware that this was a holosuit she was sizing up. To her, all she sees is a young boy in a green suit. He looked like he could fight, or handle himself. And something nagged at her. He wasn't a mark. He carried himself too well. She'd lose. It unsettled her.
"Two years ago, this place was attacked or something. Lots of claims of monsters in the area. Wouldn't happen to know anything about it, would you?" She asks, turning to face Gyo more properly. Her hands stay firmly in her jacket pockets, but her stance implies she's ready to snap to fight or flight should she need to. She's guarded. Uncertain. And Gyo can read her like a book.
She didn't like him. At least, not yet. But the Veemon could also tell that she was simply defensive, not actively looking for a fight. She just wants to protect herself, if she had to.

"Dunno, some call it a hero complex or something, but family's a complex issue." The guised Veemon shrugged. He wasn't trying to be dismissive or anything. "Blood of the covenant runs thicker than the water of the womb, I think. Found trumps blood." That's his two bits at least.
Yet, she asked about two years ago...
He peered up into the sky. "I know a thing or two about it, why? Just a good old public disturbance that got mopped up in record time--not much more to it. Awfully odd that people still speak of it years after the fact, though." A shrug.
"There's a lot that could be questioned there, brother." Scarab shrugged, approaching as well. Stance as neutral as his brother's. Both could tell she was defensive, but they didn't make much in the way of moves. Just...stay put.
"Blurs of red and blue tore the place up--a black storm of gunfire clashed against a sparking titan of red. Also, a cat got beaten up. That's...the short of it." Gyo spoke, glancing around as if keeping watch for someone, or something. Fear. There's more to it, though.
Sylvia was probably the kind of person to know that. More to it that can't be spoken of here.

She can't help but snort at his response to her 'what's it to you' question. "...What family?" She mutters sourly. But then she gets a nice juicy tidbit out of him. He's afraid to talk about it, but Gyo gives her enough of a description that she knows. He was here. "...Alright, flyboy. I want answers. ...Obviously, you aren't gonna say more here." She glances around before sighing.
"Where do we have to go for you to spill the beans?" She finally asks, shifting her stance to one of neutrality over defensive. "Name's Sylvia." She gives a terse half-bow, pulling her hands from her pockets before she does so. "If you remember my name or not, doesn't really matter to me." She adds, shifting her gaze between the disguised brothers each. They weren't out for anything. She could relax, if only a little.
And they definitely have answers for her. It's just a matter of if she's ready to hear them.

"You sure you're gonna be okay with what you might hear, flygirl?" Gyo was more surprised anyone would want to find out about something that caused that much property damage than anything. "And no shit I'm not." Fucking captain obvious over here got it right--seriously, who knows who could be watching? DATS? AEGIS? Someone's mom?
...Honestly, neither of those were alright.
"It's an easy name to remember, relax." Scarab grumbled. The brothers turned, and headed off towards one of the quieter sections of the square, a bench about a minute or two away from the statue.
There was one person there, a guy who looked about eighteen, and...pretty average, holy shit. Like. Wow, he did not stand out much at all. Though, maybe that was the intent. He looked over to the three and waved. "Back already? Who's your friend?"
"That's -very- generous. Curious sort--figured we'd be nice and at least offer an explanation about That Incident."
Hisato shrugged. "That's your prerogative." Simple as that.
Gyo paused as he neared the bench, turning around. "So, the short of it? You know how there were those creatures on TV for a bit before it got cut off? How there's still images of all of that floating around if you look hard enough?" A pause.
"-All- of that was real. Both of us were there. Hell, even he was there." He pointed to Hisato. "Though he ran away--I remember that much."
This was all being spoken as if Gyo knew details that only someone who was a direct witness, or hell, someone who even took part in the fighting would know.
...So what was the rub here?

Sylvia remains silent, but given her refusal to back away from the knowledge being dangled in front of her, she certainly wanted to hear it all. When they take her over to see this other human on a bench.
And that's when they confirm that yes, the monsters were real. She folds her arms and shakes her head. "...Alright, let's just go with it then... Where did those monsters come from?" She asks, flipping her gaze between the three... Though mostly focusing on Gyo. She firmly holds her arms crossed, clearly not quite believing them. "Since it's like... most of that event are peddled by the conspiracy jerks on TV. You know, the ones who spew all kinds of bull."
But, she's listening at least. She isn't being outright dismissive, just... wanting answers. After all, she's the one who asked... And it'd be really stupid to ask and then deny the answer.

"Another world." Let's just rip that band-aid off quickly, just to let that set in. "You might think, 'oh, I'm full of shit,' but no, that's the literal quickest way to put it." Gyo snorted. He put a hand to his wrist, seeming to click something, the sounds of it powering off for a brief moment being heard as his very FORM flickered.
A teenager was briefly replaced by a crimson Veemon, for a precious second. Before he repowered the device and his form was all the same as it was. "I mean, it's really hard to be full of shit with something like this when I'm one of those monsters. Just putting that out there."
"I've actually taken some time to do some research--especially with some stuff that happened to me soon after the incident. The conspiracy people did have a basis for...that stuff, but there's a genuine effort on the government's part being made to silence what happened even now. ...Which...I don't really blame them. A parade of extraterrestrials by definition's bad enough, but a terrorist attack in three separate places launched by extraterrestrials is even worse." Hisato uttered, briefly cutting in to offer his own two cents. Or Yen. Take your pick. "Just knowing the truth's bad enough, it's like it invites weird, bizarre things to happen. Like more monsters showing up at your favorite library, or worse."
It was at that point that Gyo decided to interject once more! "So, thoughts so far, Sylvia?"

Sylvia's jaw is agape. She actually looks frozen at literally seeing a monster in front of her. They're... literally among them? How many does she know? How many has she possibly FOUGHT? Well, that last thought is semi-reassuring because it means that she can take them on herself. Or so she thinks, at least. After kinda just staring at them for a moment, she actually brings a hand up to force her jaw shut.
"...I... ...huh. Talk about no bullshit." She finally says after a moment of her brain finally getting back in gear. She looks down at the ground for a moment now, processing. "...So... What, you've all just, come to this world because...?" She looks at all three of them, now clearly working under the assumption that all three of them are these monsters. But she at least isn't trying to fight. Or run away. Or cause a scene. She literally asked for this, and she's smart enough not to ruin it.

"I don't know why they're here." Hisato clarified. "Any of them. Scarab over there's Gyo's brother." He gestured to the still silent Scarab, who...was probably looking at Gyo with no small amount of disdain! "As the other human in this conversation? I can only really offer guesses--the best one of which being that there's some screwery going on that necessitates them coming from their world to ours for one reason or another."
"That's usually it." Scarab finally cut in. "In my brother and I's case, it's to make amends for something. Given we're both stuck with Hisato over there, it's a bad band of three--occasionally four. The imp from that day still comes by, too. It...really depends on which of 'us' you run into. The monsters are like people in that they all have their own motivations for doing what they do. Or coming here. Granted, it's stupid a lot of the time." There's a moment of silence from the brothers, before Hisato finally asked a very obvious question.
"...You need a moment? I don't blame you if you do, I...uh. I kind of thought Scarab was going to kill me when I met him. He's usually a tall blue bug man without...that on...." Notably, if Sylvia paid attention? Which...well, she probably did, let's be real, she'd likely pick up on the fact that despite that display, neither of the brothers had really changed their...demeanor, their posture.
It was the same, relaxed as it had been.

Sylvia shakes her head and blinks. It was... kinda wild. An actual other world, monsters that can come here, apparently they can partner with humans? Something in the back of her head starts ticking. "what if you got a partner, so you can facilitate your revenge on this place?" it cooed. The thought sent flutters through her heart and she actually blushed. "you can get revenge on not only your family, but this society... a society that left you on the street, along with those you fight." She takes in a shuddery breath before her eyes refocus suddenly and she clears her throat.
With the blush still on her face, she shakes her head and offers a slightly strained smile. "...Alright, given what I've just been shown, I have to buy this. So... I-I guess the next logical question is... How do you come to this world? And... can humans use the same way in reverse?" She rubs the back of her head. "Because frankly, going somewhere else would be a marked improvement over living like I have." She says... and she'll offer the truth if they ask, because it also gives her a reasonable cover for why she's blushing.

"There's two ways. One, a specific platform at the Shibuya station. And the other...uh. Reportedly, falling into the river. The last one's really unhealthy though. I've heard of a lot of people getting sucked in through technology, too." Hisato shrugged. "Those are the two most reliable ways to get to their world, that I'm actually aware of--though...I don't really know -how- one gets their partner. Reportedly, it just...happens?"
"Basically." Gyo nodded. "For some it's as easy as running into the digimon--...That's what we're called. For others they just stop by the Village of Beginnings, literal village of newborn Digimon...It's...A lot of 'what-ifs' to put it lightly. I think it's stupid and a chore but others treat it like gospel. To it's credit, though, most partnerships improve both parties."
Hisato did tilt his head at the lady, though. Why blush at...all of this? That didn't make a lot of sense...? At least to him. "I'm not gonna pry about your situation--would be a bit rude to do that with someone I just met, but...Whatever you decide to do's up to you, Sylvia." Gyo had said her name previously, so he was just. Gonna piggyback off of that.

Shibuya or the river... Alright... She nods gently and rubs the back of her head. "...Alright. Uh... Huh. Anything uh... else I should know?" She asks, looking between the two confirmed Digimon and then back at the rather quiet human. She then tilts her head. "...and uh... How strong are you two compared to humans? Cause... I dunno, it'd be nice to maybe know if I've perhaps fought a disguised... Digimon, I guess... And won." She offers a small grin.
She's gonna need to have to scrounge up some additional cash to get into Shibuya Station probably. That wouldn't be too hard. Hit up a gas station, unless some vigilante decides to intervene... But that isn't gonna happen, right? Why would something like that happen?
"go digging. acquire power... get your revenge." The thought returns and she pushes it aside for now. She would wrestle with the idea later. Right now, she just needs information.

Anything else? Hm. That was a good question to ask oneself...
"...Just one. No matter what you decide to do, the chances of you running into other people like myself--partnered humans or not, is going to be high. It's like how Stand Users in Jojo just attract each other, in a way."
"Really, dude." Gyo groaned. "Nobody fucking -reads- that!" To which the human actually bit back! "It's still an accurate comparison, jackass." ...Yeah, they sure were partners, alright. Scarab took the time to answer that question, though.
"At the level we're both at, that being Rookies--or 'child,' a human could probably stand up to us with some effort. It's when we go up a 'level,' or stage to Champion, or 'adult,' that you should definitely reconsider fighting a Digimon alone." A pause.
"You'd definitely know if you had. Holosuits don't last under duress. A single punch could short the device and make it a whole lot more awkward, too." He would know, roughhousing with Gyo at one point nearly ended in disaster back before Golden Week. "Champion's a great stage for practicing hand-to-hand with, though. At least if I hold back enough..."
Getting off topic. Stop that. "...Are you heading off?" The guised bug would ask.

"Like Stand users, huh?" She murmurs before nodding. And then the level system is at least partially explained to her and she giggles gently. "I guess I should have guessed holograms not exactly working well in combat. Alright, well..." She cracks her knuckles. "I've got some work to do, I think. Thank you for the information." She then pauses again. "...Okay, I guess there is one more thing. Are there any like... organizations or groups or something that try and police activity around you Digimon?" It was a fair question. She might not want to get too involved in the Real World until she knows what she might be dealing with as her mind churns a plan...
A very bad plan. It isn't something that will be easy, and it might end up getting her killed. But she could make a statement. A very loud, explosive statement. But, that will be for another time, long in the future...
