Name: Vitrification Order
MPC Scenario: In your usual adventures around the digital world (or perhaps even the human world), your characters end up facing a door that looks like it hasn't been used in years. There's a reason why you would want to open it and see what's on the other side, but there's a warning on it in big red letters - 'Keep Out'. What could be behind this door? An abandoned laboratory conducting dangerous experiments? The remnants of an ancient civilization that disappeared mysteriously? A broom closet containing dangerous old cleaning powder from the 1950's that increases the risk of long term illness?
Requirements: As always, all Monthly Roleplay Challenges require 1000 words to be graded. You may do this alone, or with friends, as long as the thread contains at least 1000 words by all participants. That is to say, if you have multiple participants in a thread, everyone has to make at least 1000 words in total.
