Shy: Unlike her outgoing older cousin Hana, Himiko is somewhat shy around new people. This can result in her fumbling her words a bit or panicking around strangers, although she’ll grow out of this phase once she’s gotten to know them a better. Once she’s gotten used to someone and befriended them, then she opens up a lot more and behaves a lot more like her cousin.
Cautious: Unlike Hana, Himiko is a lot more cautious when it comes to dealing with Digimon. While Hana’s likely to charge in gung-ho with her partners, Himiko will likely try to avoid confrontation if possible.
Animal Lover: Although she’s embarrassed to admit it out loud, Himiko is quite fond of dogs and cats, sometimes going out of her way to play with dogs or cats she sees out on the streets. This kind and loving nature was what led her to rescue her pet cat from the streets and later adopt the young kitten.

Personal History:
Himiko was born in Shibuya, and has lived there her entire life with her parents. Her parents own and operate a small café in the city, where her father manages the café’s finances and kitchen while her mother runs the register. As a small child, Himiko would often find herself hanging out in the café while her parents, since the family’s finances were a bit too thin to afford a babysitter. The young girl would usually sit in a corner of the café floor with some books where her mom could keep an eye on her and occasionally bring her some snacks to nibble on.
When Hana eventually moved to Shibuya and met her cousin for the first time, poor Himiko would try to hide from her at first. Once she finally warmed up to the older girl, the two became quite close with each other.
One rainy day when Himiko was helping to take some trash outside in her raincoat when she heard a pained mewling coming from behind a trashcan. A quick search revealed the source of the mewling to be a young, waterlogged Maine Coon cat huddled miserably inside an empty box. Forgetting about the trash, Himiko instantly took off her coat and used it to wrap up the poor cat while she ran inside with it and went to her parents. A quick visit to the vet later, and Mako the cat ended up becoming the newest member of the family, becoming the unofficial mascot of the café in the process.

Bean is still a small child, which means he can be easily scared by loud noises (especially thunder). During a thunderstorm, Bean will usually whimper and hide, or run to Himiko in order to seek comfort from her. Being separated from Himiko when she goes to school usually makes Bean anxious, so he always waits by the café’s door to greet her when she gets home.
Speaking of Himiko, Bean sees his partner as his human, as well as his bestest friend in the whole universe! Wherever Himiko goes, you can usually find Bean not very far away.
