The Hammer of Justice(Xros Hunt)(OPEN)

Maki had not noticed that Aiko had not let go of the Gazimon, nor that he had started his struggle more so. Instead she was enchanted by the sight of a fairy coming to land. Makiko had not expected the flower fairy to look so... dainty? Pretty? It did not matter, this was a creature that looked more fairy tale and less myth or legends. The eyes being shaped in a way one could consider either alien or fey kind of stood out. This oddly made Makiko feel better about this situation, for some reason. Not the false bumbling bravado, but more that she might be able to relate to this lady, and be able to speak with her, then her words hit her, and it stopped being confidence in that, but confidence in the fact that she must try to speak up. "Apprentice General Domeki, Makiko, and Grimmon Grimm, here to speak with the leader of this camp, and grand matron of the bandits in this area, I presume by your lovely visage, that it is you who I am speaking to?" she would speak flowery, but entirely in Tokyo cant. Grimm was floating above Makiko, near the front. She was still processing the information granted to her by Kima's partners, as well as taking more notes in her diary.

Looking up from her work, she would look the Fairy directly in the eyes. Pink versus purple, this would likely be an interesting dialogue, if it went beyond this anyways. "I know you and I have not had the pleasure of meeting before this, but I heard your lovely children, the Gazimon have been causing problems for the locals, and had wanted to know if we may strike an accord, and see about finding a peaceful coexistence between you and your neighbors, as well as to ask if your Gazimon henchman are being treated properly, and if they are treating you properly." She allowed just a slight bit of Kansai to slip in, but not enough to break the stream that was coming from her mouth. If the Lilymon tried to look towards the Gazimon or Aiko, Maki would make sure to move with her vision. She had stated she would protect the Gazimon, and she would do so.

Grimm on the other hand, for his efforts, was trying to figure out how to protect Maki if the Lilymon took offense. Taking small solace in the fact that the Gazimon behind the Lilymon were stopped... for now. This was a rough situation and he did not know what Makiko was planning to do. This situation was scary enough, and yet the girl from the small country family seemed to be taking on a more business style approach. One part diplomat, one part law enforcement, and one part honor student. This seemed like a dangerous touch to take, but she routinely stares down Grimm, and other more terrifying looking digimon, if only she really grasped the power level differences....

Behind her back, Maki would hold up her Diary with a page made into a message for those still behind her. 'I told you I would protect you, and this is the start.' was written on it, with Some eyes drawn around the message. She was really playing off of her namesake here. She would continue to let her smile stay on her face, not showing fear in the face of this digimon that could easily destroy her. Instead she maintained it, as she knew if she did not, there would likely be more danger than not. She did not look behind herself though, as the lilymon needed all of her attention. She just hoped the others were preparing what they needed, or possibly able to help her goal of resolving this peacefully. Or guiding it towards an Honorable combat... speaking of.. "If we may not be able to resolve this peacefully, might I know if you have a champion for your camp, that you would have fight on your camp's behalf in an honorable fight, or would you rather in that case for us to fight all of us against all of you?" She added, to let the Lilymon know that she had thought of it already. This was her way of maintaining some semblance of control. Makiko as a General could be considered a negotiation tactician, if one would aspire to put a style to people, though a novice at that.

"Children, underlings, either way they are a lot younger than you, and a lot smaller, cute almost. So yes, Children." she started, a dark look going over her eyes, as she stares into the eyes of the Lilymon. "I never expected such a graceful creature such as yourself to be so... under developed." she would state in English, giving a glance that would make the pun apparent to those who know. Essentially calling her non civilized, but also playing off of another pun in English. She needed to know if this Lilymon would be able to understand it, or if Japanese and Prairiemon were the only languages she knew. She did not know for certain if the Lilymon would be able to understand, but needed to know.

"I want a peaceful result that helps your neighbors and yourself Flourish, if you do not want that, then there is nothing we can do but battle, but I do suggest that we fight at least in a civilized manner." She would follow up, regardless of how she responded. Either way, she felt like the female digimon was falling into her scheme. She was starting to see the ways of this Digimon, at least well enough to be able to guide the conversation. Her smile never left her face, and her determination seemed at its peak.

Grimm was prepared to intercept though, he did not need Makiko dying on him. He might be able to survive it... sort of, but she would likely be killed, and her goading of the Lilymon did not make him feel happy. He knew he did not know the language that Maki had broken out, and definitely did not understand Fuzz, but he would have to be her Shield none the less, and the shield for those that needed it. This digimon was prepared to sacrifice his wings if needed, but his chrome digizoit would likely withstand the blow, but he would be down for the count. The hit would protect those around him of course, but he would still be hurt, but he hoped that Maki was not leading to that.

"If you want to fight, then I propose that you fight us yourself, and leave the Gazimon out of it. Your selfishness is not something I will abide by, but that is your prerogative, instead I will suggest that we deal with this with civility, and send representatives to face each other, in a contest of some sort, be that fighting, or some other skill, we have more than enough options here, so I leave it to you, as this is your territory. My Conditions stand as if we win, you turn over a new leaf, and you help your Gazimon grow, and possibly take over as security or other beneficial professions for your neighbors, and establish trade with them, to build a community. If we lose, then I become your subordinate." She would state that, with a bit of a note of understanding. She was essentially offering herself as a slave. "Obviously though, you may negotiate the terms you wish, but I also assure you the rest would leave in the case of our loss."

Finally revealing something she had prepared. "You see, I am not as innocent as people would like to believe. I am the reason that Gazimon was forced to stay with us, he is afraid of going to you, as he would have to cross around me." this was partially a bluff, but this would allow for him to save face, while also hopefully guiding towards a goal she wanted. She wanted to drive the Lilymon towards the duel though, as it was obvious she did not want to do this in another peaceful way.

Maki could only hope that Kima and her group was ready, for it was almost time for them to begin preparations. It was an almost obvious situation where the Lilymon would insist upon battle. If Maki had to predict based upon hearing the insult earlier, if she understood it... She would likely insist the rest of the Gazimon attack, if she did not, she would likely be more prone towards a dual to prove her superiority, but in doing so, she might request that it be her versus the whole group. She also expected that the Lilymon would make part of the terms to be more favorable than adding one General and one Digimon to her retinue. Makiko's eyes never lost that determination though, nor did that smile of hers leave her face. She understood this could go in a few other directions, but also that this was most likely the direction based upon the actions of the Lilymon so far.

She had faith in Kima though, if she understood what they had stated earlier, that being the group, then they could likely match her. Grimm would be able to shield people as necessary, but it would be a rough fight for him, and she did not know about how Digixros worked, but she knew it was a function. She calculated what she knew, and threw in the information as a variable. It sounded to her like they might be about even, as she would look at the Gazimon behind the Lilymon, taking note of their actions as well, wondering if they were surprised by Makiko, just like the rest of the group were, also wondering if the Gazimon behind her and Aiko would be impressed if not incredulous.

As Lilymon had prepared to strike at Maki, and as the ensuing actions happened that protected Maki, she did not flinch, instead she seemed to double her confidence. "There is a difference between how you use the Gazimon, and how a Xros General would wield them. Just look at Kima's team, they are not underlings, or henchmen, they are friends, allies, and partners. They support each other, and are only guided by the General, they are not used selfishly. We are not the same." She would state, the more wrathful side of her personality breaking out. Seeing the Digixros happen in front of her, she did have a momentary wavering of her visage. It was incredible, and she went to grab her Xros Loader, but decided against it as she realized that Grimm was her only partner, and from what she saw... it took more than one. She did ponder the idea of asking the Gazimon, or one of the others..but that would require a level of bond that she did not have with them, and also there might be other requirements. She might work with that later though.

She felt personally proud of Kima's partners, even though she did not know them long, she had met them, and knew them well enough to be able to trust that they were good, and that they would work together to try to seek the greater good. "A deputy, just wha we need ta take on a law breaker." she would murmur, the Kansai cant in full swing. She was showing her resolve, and she was glad that Kima would likely enjoy a boost in confidence from this, at least she hoped, even if it is Confidence in her friends and allies. Maybe Maki could help by being a source of confidence for her as well. Even if it is with Maki as an apprentice to the younger girl.

Grimm on the other hand had his full size being shown, his wings fully out, and his body at the ready. "Deputymon, leave defense to me, I can keep the damage to the minimum." his metallic voice rang out, as he felt the energy building in him, was it the confidence that Maki had in him? He was her shield, and supposed to guide her, and her goals, he felt it. She wanted to protect all of them, and he would facilitate it.

They both saw in their head a moment the friend that was holding off the opponent before Maki had met Grimm. Makiko saw it an inspiration. Something that she could use in the future to help facilitate what she needed for her destiny, and to consider a goal to help get closer with her Xros Team. Grimm saw it as a reliable partner and ally, a friend who would stand alongside them, and allow for much greater results. They both silently made wishes towards that potential future.

Taking note of the Gazimon, all of them, not just the one she had been trying to befriend, she realized the importance of what was shared by Fuzz. "Ya'll were Hunters and Gatherers, Ya'll used ta work hard, and share wit ta neighbors, even wit yer new skills, acquired from Lilymon, ya'll can work together again with everyone. I swear ta ya, I swear it to you!" She would call, knowing this might cause Lilymon to strike at her, but she knew Grimm had her back, and if it was not her who was targeted, then Grimm would protect anyone but maybe Deputymon, as Deputymon was likely involved in fighting, and did not want to interfere with an attack that way.

Makiko would refute, "Kima is stronger than you." She would happily notice the even the Gazimon on their side was joining in trying to inspire the other Gazimon. He was making valid points. She was happy to see that he was turning over a leaf, and that this had proven great for her. "Gazimon, if you were great fighters before, you can become such once more, there is a vacuum in the protection and security industry, and I believe you all could fill that up, and if not that, you have natural tools that can help with various professions." she would offer, the smile on her face being quite bright. She wanted to inspire them, and hope that they would get more assure of themselves. That they would be able to escape, and become better for it.

Grimm on the other hand was getting closer to Lilymon, while staying away from the Deputymon's aim. He wanted to be up close and personal, and while there, would aim his scythe through a part of her body that was not interacting with the lasso. He would not let her aim at anyone else if possible, at least until he was hit. Still as she was body with the Lasso and Deputymon, he felt that protecting others and getting in a good hit would make it harder for her to face them. It was obvious that he was not likely to deal much damage, but enough to distract was all he needed, something to make her have be caught unaware, and have to choose whether to respond to him, or to the Deputymon Xros. Either way, she was being flanked. This would also put him in a position to attempt to parry her attacks, or block them as best as he could.

Makiko would be holding her Xros loader now, wishing she could some how empower her Partner, noticing what he was doing. She realized that with her lack of ability, all she could do was help distract, and also watch the Gazimon flee, if they did so. Encouraging it, and also hoping that Kima's other partners were doing alright. This was something that she realized she had done enough of what she could do. It was now up to the rest.

Makiko would move to stand next to Fuzz and Blaster, studying things, taking note. A Hipogryff, one of the symbols from gothic times, a creature that brought hope and nobility. A speedy mount that was known to be vicious in combat, only outdone by Gryphons. This had the older girl in Awe as she was not used to seeing such a thing in the flesh, even if it was an amalgamation of three digimon in such a way, it was still a marvelous thing. He looked like a giant white horse and eagle mix, with Large magnificent wings and rather large talons. She did not even try to understand how the fore claws came about, could easily see the Hawkmon influence. Still, she was worried about Blaster.. he did not look so good.

She really did not have anything to add to the situation. The Gazimon had left, and only thing she could do right now was to be patient. Still her hope was renewed, as she had lost her composure for a moment when the Deputymon had been taken down... Still she was learning how versatile this xros evolution thing was. She would look to Fuzz, questioningly, but would not utter a word here. Words would not help. There were too many questions left, and right now the important part would be to defeat Lilymon. Still, the wrathful side of Maki was pushing for a hope of Lilymon being fully defeated.

Grimm on the other hand was getting more frustrated with the fact that the Lilymon had dodged his strike, and had managed to harm the other Digimon combatant. He would have to block the next strike. He would start to holding on to some energy for movement. Her next strike would be blocked by him. He would be useful to the group. "Hipogriffomon, I will do better this time, lets take her down!" the Metallic Dragon would roar, his slightly demonic form flaring up with energy.

Makiko, seeing her partner full of energy, felt it cross her mind, how to help. She would time it with him. He needed all of her energy to jump in. At the time of Lilymon's next strike, regardless of who was the target, she knew what she was doing, and so did Grimm. Makiko's eyes seemed to glow, and in tune, so did Grimms.

As soon as Lilymon's next attack went towards anyone, did not matter who, Grimm, who was supposedly slower, would move into position as both Grimm and Makiko would intone, together. "Rozen Shield""Rozen Shield"

Time seemed to slow down for Makiko. Lilymon had attempted to aim at her once again, and had even let loose the shot, Grimm appearing as both Grimm and Makiko had known it was going to happen, only for a white blur to hit Grimm from the side as the shield that Grimm had projected got shattered by the blast. It was enough to deflect it away from Makiko, and into the ground, but it was enough damage that both Maki and Grimm felt it. Even with the redirect, it was a heavy damage for both the fledgeling Xros General, and the reduced power Adult stage digimon. Even though the hit had not hit her, Makiko was thrown back by the force of the strike, or maybe from the damage felt from her first time syncing with Grimm, and having him take heavy damage. Either way, she winced from pain, and dug her heals in. This was the first time she had felt such a sensation, and it was not one she liked, but more so, she was worried about Grimm.

"I will live, thanks to you, but we really need to take her down, before she harms anyone else, I am unfortunately not able to shield again, my wings are in tatters, and my cannon is overloaded this fight is now yours and yours alone." The Evil Machine Dragon would state, his eyes a little more dim, his Digizoit lightly cracked, but the pain was more or less below the armor. He would then retreat into the Xros loader. Makiko had pulled it out to pull him back for safety. She would take note of how it felt, and also how much that hurt both of them, but more so that the armor was really strong.

"Rest now Grimm, I will bear witness to this fight."

Makiko would intone it, as she looked over the situation, pulling back out her diary, and writing with fervor. She needed to take note of many things. Grimm's armor, Fuzz stating that Blaster was a cyborg and how that was not common, the hammer being used to break a vine, the speed of this Xrossed Hippogriffomon. She noted everything, while preparing to dodge any strike coming from the Lilymon that might come at range. She needed to survive to see the results. She owed it to Grimm, who was now likely knocked out in the Xros Loader. Still this meant that she was largely not useful for the fight other than being a distracting Target for Lilymon. Still she had hope here.

"Get her Hipporgriffomon, she needs to be captured or stopped!" she would declare, her eyes no longer sleepy, but now in a determined scowl. "I believe in you, for the greater good, you must win!" She was not being a cheerleader, even if it felt more like a Military Commander giving a lower ranked leader a command. She needed to see the Lilymon put down, and there seemed to be one who could do it. Hopefully he was not too damaged... or would it be they? She would have to think on and ask about how it is for many to become one like that.

"I do not have any wounds, but thank you Kima, I appreciate it." She would reply to the worries of the younger girl. It was kind of her to be worried, but other than the pain and being knocked back, she did not have any wounds. She wondered if this was a common occurrence, or maybe something else. Syncing up with a digimon seemed to do such things. Still, she put her diary back in her bag. "I think... if we focus, and hope, the digimon gets stronger." she offered. She only had it as a theory, and unknowingly had experienced the draw back with out the benefit, but the concept seemed well enough. Still, looking closer at her face showed that she had been hit in the energy reserves, as fatigue was showing a little bit after the hit had happened.

It was impressive seeing how the Hippogryph digimon was dealing with the Lilymon, and the song that Aiko was projecting seemed to be helping, though Maki could not explain how. Maybe it was just a digimon thing. Either way, she realized that this was a much more powerful and amazing battle than one would assume normally, and it was inspiring. She wanted to eventually reach a stage where she would be allowed to perform in much the same way, to keep her digimon going, while taking on a strong opponent for the greater good. She wondered if that was even possible for her, but for now, her hopes were going out to Hippogriffomon and the rest of Kima's team, minus Blaster, who was now being rescinded to recover. She hoped he would be alright.. it was not a positive thing for one to have to recover like this, but more a necessity.

"Fuzz, you really are a competent prairiemon." Maki would offer as a compliment. Still, she could only hope that this fight would end soon. She did not want to see any more allies injured today, especially since the goal was to improve things in this area, and for the Gazimon to be able to live better lives, with out causing harm to their neighbors. This was the best hope she had, and so far, the Hippogryph seemed like it could do it, but would it last long enough? Would it be able to take out the opponent before she some how turned the tables again? Did Kima have any more Xroses left, that would match this power and speed? Makiko did not know, so instead focused on sending positive feelings.

She wished that this fight ends positively.
