Snatchmon, seeing that the Knight was no longer able to fight, stopped himself from striking again. There was no reason to do anymore. He stands tall, as he lets the blade return to his wrist. "Do you think we should leave this thing as it is? Or do you think we should execute it?" He would ask the other two combatants. His personal take would be to end the Knight, but he also knew that Makiko would not agree with that, even in her current state he knew what Makiko would try to do, the right thing... right? That would be finding out the source of the cause, and possibly letting law enforcement or other authorities deal with the Undead digimon... even if the actions of it were harmful to herself.
Makiko at the time, accepting the hug from the Kausgamamon, while letting the Captain do what he was doing, not able to pay enough attention to the language to understand it at all, not that hearing it would have helped. She let the tears spring forth after seeing the DarkKnightmon drop,it was like the momentary pause on her emotional distress, and she let out a sob. Then another as she hated the frustration that she felt with herself, with that DarkKnightmon, and with the helplessness she felt in response to it all. She felt the distilled despair of the fact that she let her partner digimon get hurt so badly.
It was like a moment of Schrodinger's digimon. Was Grimm alive, or was he dead? She did not know, it was the first time she had came across this scenario in her life, and it really frustrated her. Even Gazi- Snatchmon was concerned it seemed, with how he kept looking back at her. She would slow her sobs after a few moments, wiping the tears on her sleeves. "Thank ya, Grace." her kansai dialect coming out. "Ah needed that." she would state before looking over at the Mushroommon in various states of leaving and or returning. She felt that the moment had past her by, as she looked at the Digiegg in the Loader, and the message that had passed earlier, still on the screen. After she stared at it for a few moments... it disappeared. Odd, she broke out her Diary and started writing everything that had happened quickly, the digiegg form of Grimm, the fact it could go into a xros loader, the message, the situation of CaptainHookmon undoing the zombification, the fact that Gazimon evolved into Snatchmon, everything she had seen and just had been holding off on processing.
Followed by a largely written kanji section stating [NEVER AGAIN] on a single page, a declaration on herself. She would not let it happen twice. She swore to herself that she would do her best to acknowledge the strength of her team going forward, and letting herself take the less reckless action, to make sure that no one got hurt like this again. She refused to prove folly to it again. Grimm, Snatchmon, the other two friends of Grimm's.... None of them would suffer this way again, if she had a chance to disrupt it.
Elsewhere, in the digital world, overlooking a Frozen tundra a lone figure stood, a small screen of a TV poking out of the ice, a small being over her shoulder, both smirking. "The first step is complete, lets see if she will continue to meet our expectations." She would say, a smirk on her face as she was looking over the situation from what seemed like the Xros loader. She and her odd little spirit both giggling lightly, while another screen showed the situation in the Dark Area, a DarkTyrannomon X and MadLeomon being blocked from escape by a massive Leonine figure. She could only wonder if this child, Makiko, would reach them in time, or if she would have to distract this creature from destroying them. "Plans with in plans, a cookie for your fortune." The voice of her familiar would retort, before laughing.

Upon hearing Snatchmon's words Kshin's eyes nearly bugged out of his head in shock before he recovered his wits and said "Killing him no matter what he did wrong would make us no better than him. Just like Mandrake and Lothar I won't kill him. We should contact the authorities to deal with this creep." Kshin spoke to Snatchmon with such determination and passion that it would surely be attention catching.
Mona then stepped up to the unconcious AxeKnightmon before she said "Darlings I'll haul this fiend to the authorities. I should be back in a few hours so you guys can wait for me here." With that Mona hefted up AxeKnightmon tossing him over her shoulder before smiling at the group and with a nod the Lamortmon walked away at a surprisingly brisk pace.
"Yeah I had a feeling you needed someone to help calm you down." Grace said before she glanced at Makiko's Xros Loader spotting the words briefly flashing across the screen."How odd. Was there a message on the screen a moment ago?" The bafflement didn't last long as Grace then said "Maybe now that it is calm we should dedigivolve and check on Grimm." With that Kshin dedigivolved back to his rookie form of Gumdramon and Grace dedigivolved back to her rookie form of Gammamon. Meanwhile CaptainHookmon sat down keeping an eye on the artifact.

"Grimm, Realize" Makiko would state, holding up her Xros loader, which would then produce the digiegg of her partner. She noticed the pattern was marked with mask icons. The egg itself was rather light now that she was holding it, which intrigued her... how, how was something so big able to compact to be so light? She did not understand it, but she still held it in fear of it falling and cracking, not that she knew how strong those egg shells were. The digimon inside was Grimm... she could only feel as if it was like he was lost to her for the moment. She wanted him back, they had not been together long, but enough to have formed a minor bond. She would have to work on this bond when she finally got him back. She would make up for this... she swore it already.
Snatchmon shrugged. He would not kill this one, if it was not deemed necessary, and so watched as Mona took it and flew off, while walking back to Makiko and the Captain, offering him back his Compass for the third time. He had no words for Makiko, and was also slightly embarrassed by the declarations he had made before his evolution. He gently patted Makiko on the shoulder, now that he stood just barely taller than her, maybe by a head and a half. He blinked slightly at the sudden realization at being taller than her, but shrugged it off. He would have to work as her body guard until she got safely back to the Trailmon, if not other places that were safe.
Makiko, getting such a response from the Gazimon turned Snatchmon, would smile gently, "Thank ya, Snatchmon." She would offer quietly, still having a slight sadness to her countenance. The fact that this guy, who just a little bit ago was rather un-trusting of her, and had just started turning a new leaf, had been ready to stand up for her, who had only been protected up till now, it was rather a touching feeling. She hoped that he would trust her more, but understood why he might not at the moment. It was rather hard to trust a general who just got her only partner killed... She held the egg a little tighter, only for the Snatchmon to give her a gentle knock on the forehead. He then smiled at her for a second, before going back to a more stoic facial expression.
"CaptainHookmon...while we wait for Mona to return... would you mind explaining what happened? How did you manage to end up here, and chained up?" she would ask. It was important that they learned how it happened. "Yes Grace, there was, I wrote it down, and will reflect upon it when we are no longer here." was all she would say about the odd message. She did not know who sent it, but she wanted to make sure try to understand it, now that it was gone... She did not know who sent it, but it was not pleasant to see. It was further proof of her failure.
"Do not worry about it too much, you stupid girl." Snatchmon started, before adding wryly, "If you do, it will make the food taste bad, and your face all wrinkly, would rather you be more yourself." He would finish up, putting one of his arms behind his head, partially using the tail from the back of his head to cover the part of his face that was hiding the embarrassment of once again trying to awkwardly help the human girl. He hoped that Grimm hatched soon, that way he would not have to work as hard as he was for now. Still, he was curious as well about what CaptainHookmon would say, and whether they would have to wait for Mona to get back for answers.

Kshin and Grace watched as Makiko called forth Grimm's digiegg out of her Xros Loader and was being held in her arms. Grace looked over the egg noticing the icons all over it before she smiled and said "His digiegg sure looks fascinating doesn't it? You know what with those mask icons all over the egg?"
As for Kshin he breathed a sigh of relief that his words got through to Snatchmon and since Mona had taken the AxeKnightmon then there was one less thing to worry about. Now Kshin was more concerned about CaptainHookmon who had accepted his compass from Snatchmon with a polite "Thank you."
Then when Makiko asked CaptainHookmon how he got in the mess he was in the captain turned and said "I understand why one would be asking that. See I had left Soulmon to look after my crew but somehow I got caught by AxeKnightmon after he had transformed those Mushroommon into zombies with that ancient magic artifact. The reason I knew how to handle it is because it was with my tribe for generations.
"Come one, Snatchmon, nothing wrong with self reflection it is only when you turn it into insane worrying is when it becomes unhealthy but I'm sure Makiko already knows that." Kshin said to Snatchmon with a smile.
A few hours later Mona, in her rookie form of Terriermon Assistant, made her way into sight and not only that it appeared that Soulmon was with her. "CaptainHookmon, sir. It's a relief to see you okay. I was worried I wouldn't of been able to take care of everyone." Soulmon said.
"It is nice to see you too, Soulmon, but you should be more confident in yourself. If you weren't able to look out for them I wouldn't of chosen you to be in charge while I was away." CaptainHookmon said.
"Sorry Captain but yer right. At least that artifact isn't being used by AxeKnightmon anymore. I think the captain and I should take that thing and send it where no one else will be able to misuse it. Sure the captain and I may be pirates but even we have limits to how low we'll sink." Soulmon said.
"And to think we never would of found out about all this without Kshin's magic book." Mona said which caused Kshin to grin as his hammer tail swished along the dirt.

Getting the answers they needed, both Digimon and Human would just quietly wait, listening to what was going on with Captain Hookmon and Soulmon. The mask design on the egg was something that was on both of their minds though, was it intentional, or was it something of a happy accident? Neither of them knew enough about digitama, as most digitama that Snatchmon had dealt with ended up back at the village of beginnings, while this was the first one that Makiko had ever seen. Neither of them knew it was entirely a design based upon a common element in Grimm's life, the masked forms of his evolution.
With everyone's reconvening, it was certainly a decent ending to the bad scenario that had hit them, well, other than wanting to return back from here, they had been on this island for a while, and Makiko still had to get on the trailmon again. Makiko felt the egg shift in her hand though and gasped. It was not ready to hatch, but it felt like it was getting ready for it, it might take a bit longer, but it made Makiko at least have a concerned smile.
"H-how does one raise a baby digimon?" she asked, suddenly concerned for if it hatched sooner than she was ready, and realizing if she does have the option, it might be easier and better for her to go back home so she could focus on getting him back to his feet so to speak, before doing more exploration of the digital world. Unfortunately for her, Snatchmon only shrugged, he did not take care of baby digimon, he was taken care of.
They would both look towards the rest of the group, before also tossing out the question "Should we start trying to get off this island, and back towards the shore?" this one back to Tokyo cant and also more akin to her normal pacing and tone. She realized she needed to take some time getting through this, but also needed to stop worrying for the moment, everything got better with proper preparation. If she could prepare and potentially unlock the power she had seen the other Xros General use... she could maybe avoid a repeat, but that would take learning more about herself, and why she had this device to begin with.
Snatchmon on the other hand stopped himself from saying more things, he was not used to his new voice, and on top of that kept saying embarrassing things. He needed to sort himself out mentally before he starts speaking again. Instead he tried to play it cool, letting things simmer, though it was odd, he felt like he was more magically inclined now than he had been prior... How did this happen? Was this the fault of the island? The artifacts? Was this always his potential? He did not know, but he was not certain what to do with it.
It was then that Makiko, with that wispy spooky smile of hers would look at him. "Astram." she would state it with out intent to take it back. "The Blade of the Occult is what it means, I think that name suits you, since you evolved, we have to give you a name, otherwise you will keep changing and we will never get used to your forms." she would suggest this while smiling more gently. She noticed he looked at her blankly at this, before turning away and trying to play it off.
"Fine, but only if you continue to feed me good food."
They would listen for what the others wanted to do, and likely follow it.

Grace was watching Grimm's egg and also noticed it had begun shifting. Judging by Makiko's reaction it seemed the thought that raising a baby digimon made the general feel out of her depth. "I don't know how to raise a baby. Neither Kshin or I are very old ourselves. Does anyone know how to handle a baby of any kind?" Grace stammered out feeling lost and sounding as such too.
"Grace calm down. It might be similar to handling humans in regards to provide them food, clean up after them, and make sure they get sleep. Then again I don't know how to raise babies digimon or human for that matter. At least baby digimon reach rookie fairly fast." Kshin said as he began scratching his head before looking at Mona before he asked "Uh Mona, have you ever raised a baby or even baby sitted before?"
"Darling, I may never of had any hatchlings but I have baby sat a lot when I was around yours and Grace's age. I even helped out sometimes in the Village of Beginnings back then. Babies may require a lot of attention but also patience and I think Makiko can handle helping Grimm back to his rookie form. Maybe if Snatchmon helps too it might be easier." Mona said her words seeming to calm both Kshin and Grace. Her being older than Mandrake and Lothar combined seemed to have its advantages.
"Soulmon and I can help all of you back to the mainland when you all are ready. Call it a thanks for all the help." CaptainHookmon said.
"You'll really give us all a ride to the mainland? Thanks CaptainHookmon." Kshin said wagging his tail softly.
When Makiko gave Snatchmon a name Kshin said "Wow that name sounds tough but still cool. Definitely sounds like a name that would fit you Sna-I mean Astram."

Hearing that the group had only minor suggestions and offerings on the subject, she would just contemplate for a few moments. Mona had the best offering though, and having Astram's help would likely make things easier. She still would have to make sure that the area that they were working in would be kind enough to offer up a safe place while Grimm regained his strength and form... did he need to? Probably. The egg was way too small to be a Grimmon. "Thank you three for the advice." she would offer, giving a bow. A well timed one at that for it was at that time the egg decided to hatch.
The egg had hatched into an odd little blob, slightly a grey green color, with a binky, and two rocky ears. The only things standing out from it were its red eyes. It let off a noise, but we are not certain what it translates to. It was a noise though, as he bobbed in place, which was Makiko's arms. He looked like he was in a bad mood, but then happily nuzzled.
The Xros General had to stop her surprise, and the Snatchmon known now as Astram had to hold back from reacting in mixed emotions. He was not expecting the prior form of that dragon reaper to be a blob that happens to also be a mineral. Still, with the baby in question now hatched, she would look towards the pirate captain and his first mate. "No..no time like the present." she would say, "We can take our time once we are on the ship, but we would be best served heading back."
Astram would nod, knowing that he was bigger now was odd, and realizing he would have trouble getting used to his new body, which he realized had settled down now that things had settled. He was no longer as powerful as he was for a few moments, but he would at least work as a decent body guard until the giant mechanical lizard was back to full power. Still, it would take a while until things settled, so he almost was willing to offer to stay with her, even though that would be almost the same as offering to be part of her army.
"Come on you three, lets get back to the ship, we should really get going." He would finish, still reflecting on the new name, and what it means. He would have to get used to it. "Astram..." he tried, before thinking he was silly for doing so. He would practice it a little bit, from time to time as they moved, regardless of the rest moving or not. "Did you manage to get all the Zombies back to normal, Captain?" he asked curiously. It was a rather important question based upon the numbers they had seen coming in.

When Makiko thanked Kshin, Mona, and Grace for their advice the three of them merely smiled in return. Then shortly after that Grimm's egg in Makiko's arms began hatching. Everyone quietly watched as a small blob like digimon with a binky and rock like ears emerged from within the egg. Kshin and Mona stood there quietly observing the newly reborn Grimm who was snuggling Makiko's arm but Grace seemed to be shaking with energy before she burst out "Oh my gosh! Grimm has been reborn as a Sunamon! He's so cute!"
Kshin trotted over to Grace and placed a paw on her shoulder before he said "Whoa easy there, Grace. You don't want to startle or annoy him do you?"
Grace inhaled deeply before she then said "Yeah you're right, Kshin." She then turned to Grimm and said "Sorry about earlier, Grimm. I just got a bit over excited for a moment there."
"I am down with making our way back to the ship since we've had a hard day." Kshin said.
Then when Astram asked CaptainHookmon if all the zombies were back to normal the good captain nodded as he said "That they are. Come on everyone. Let's head to my ship."
With that CaptainHookmon and Soulmon began leading the group back to the ship and in time everyone made it there and began to board.

Following the pirate's back to their ship with everyone, and listening to everything, all Grimm the Sunamon could do, was gurgle and make other such noises when ever someone spoke to him or about his current form, his crimson eye looking around at everyone. It was hard to say what was going through his head, did he remember? No one knew for certain. The fact that he was a baby again was probably an odd sensation, but it was a sensation no less. The feelings of being in Makiko's arms were rather warm and safe though, and her bag with everything in it seemed to be nestled lightly in her hand, while she followed around the middle of the group.
Astram nodded, and had taken more of a rear guard position. He had the main reasons, like not wanting to be the first to run into trouble, but this also allowed him to keep track of the Xros General and her now baby level partner. He wondered why he wanted to be part of the care that existed there, but also knew that fuming on it would not help. He needed to take his time, especially since he still had not decided fully to join them. He was helping them, and going on a journey with them as a guide, but that was it. Even then, he was not the most well explored, having not left the prairie before. Usually trouble came to him, but now he was exploring the digital world... He wondered if that was a normal part of his life or not, and what to do about it in the future.
Makiko was humming lightly though. She was hoping to lull baby Grimm to sleep, if only because it was not easy to consider what would happen in this place, and she felt that once they got to the ship, it would be nice and safe, or at least safer than here might be. There were still potential enemies about. The fact that they had succeeded with only one casualty was nice, but at the same time still weighing on her heavily. Grimm would not be in this state had she been careful, and to what she knew from the brief discussions, there might be a chance he will not remember.
---- Getting onto the ship, Astram would pace around the deck, still getting used to his new legs, and his new body. It was almost a game here, as he was used to being semi bipedal, and his new body was now fully bipedal, using a long tail from the back of his head to help balance. He also was finally looking over his new claws, and even the blade at the back of the tail. He felt like he was no stronger than he was as a Gazimon, but he knew he was better suited for travel and combat than he was. The feelings inside his body stood as they were, he was becoming better than he was, had he been like this before, he doubted his friends would have gotten hurt as badly back in the gang. He was not strong enough to stand against Lilymon, but he was strong enough now to potentially turn some of the fights.
Makiko was cradling a sleeping Sunamon, while writing in her diary, this one just going over what all was stated about taking care of a digimon who had just freshly hatched. She needed to acknowledge it, and hope for it to work out well. "Feed, clean up after, make sure to let them sleep... Anything I am missing?" she would ask towards the older digimon that were probably near her. She did not know that this would only take her a week or so to get Grimm back to Grimmon, it would likely evolve tonight with enough care, but she did not know this at all. She was looking into making sure she knew what was needed for when the time came.
The feeling of the ship on the ocean was rocking the baby to sleep, and so sleep it did. The hope for an uneventful trip back to where they came from standing firm among the trio.

As the group made their way back to the ship with CaptainHookmon and Soulmon in front and Astram in the back it was basically quiet as if lots of the group were having their own silent thoughts. Well most of them were walking ahead of Astram that is except for Mona. The clever seamstress was also taking a rear guard position her ears occasionally twitching as she walked alongside Astram while using her excellent hearing to keep an ear out for potential danger. Sure there were many various sounds out there but none of them sounded dangerous to Mona. Heck most of the sounds were at best keeping a respectful distance likely due to the group definitely not coming off as easy pickings for a potential predator even with a reborn baby and a human in the group.
Kshin was walking not far from Makiko listening to the human girl humming. Makiko's efforts reminded Kshin of his birth mother which made the young Gumdramon smile sadly before remembering that though his birth mother and father were no longer alive he knew they would be proud of the kind digimon he had become. "Hey, Makiko. That song you are humming to Grimm, is it some kind of Human World lullaby by any chance?" Kshin asked with curiosity clear in his voice.
Meanwhile after getting onto the ship Astram had begun to pace around the deck clearly not used to his new body. Taking note of that Mona smiled as the older digimon approached and said "Darling, I get how hard it can be to get used to a new form but don't worry Astram as you'll be used to that body in time especially with a little time."
When Makiko asked if there was anything she was missing it was clear she was asking the older digimon about matters regarding Grimm in his current state. Kshin then said "One thing I think that is important that I was lucky to experience my birth family and adopted family is letting a young one know they are loved. Maybe that and keeping an eye out as some babies can have a lot of extra energy which can lead to them maybe getting up to mischief. I myself wasn't that bad but there are kids that are trickier to wrangle than me."
Over time it seemed the motion of the ship had lulled Grimm to sleep and none of Kshin's group doubted Grimm needed his rest considering what he had been through. After sometime the ship itself eventually made its way back to the mainland and Kshin, Grace, and Mona got off the ship with Grace waving goodbye to CaptainHookmon and Soulmon before they waited for Makiko and her group to also disembark from the ship as well.

The return trip to the place they came from seemed to be rather quiet, so obviously when the question was asked of her as they were moving seemed seemed simple enough. "Yes, though I do not know if the version you know is exactly the same version I know, ancestors have a way of twisting things." she stated quietly, letting it sink in as the baby digimon was sleeping soundly. Better not to disturb the baby form of Grimm, if only because it would be best to let him recover quickly.
On the ship, Astram heard Mona, and while trying to keep his new balance, and getting used to it, he just gave her a cursory look. "The sooner I get used to this form, the sooner I can keep those two safe until the stupid lizard returns to being able to protect her." he was rather grumpy, mostly because this was the third time he hit himself on the one of the walls of the ship. Probably did not help that he was on a ship that was rocking, while trying to get used to his new center of gravity.
When both of them heard the statement of letting a baby be loved, they both just kind of looked at each other. Were they able to handle such a thing? Makiko did not know, and Astram still had trust issues.... the hope was that they both could manage it, but it left them both contemplative, which was then diminished in seriousness as Astram slipped on a mop that was passing by.
Grimm was dreaming, there was nothing more to it, just pictures of old memories, and new memories. It was like he was sorting them. He had no idea what he was sorting them for, but he focused for a moment on the form of the giant leonine figure that had started attacking them, and did not know how to sort that one, was this one necessary? Was it scary? He could not tell, but there was something more. It was his friends, he wanted to see them again, and see them join Makiko's army. He did not have the words for it yet, but he knew that it was important for him.
Makiko and Astram carefully got off the ship when it had landed. "Thank you Captain, and Soulmon do not lose confidence!" The violet haired girl would call back, looking over her shoulder, while Astram would just leap to the sand below. Once she was safely on the land, she would wave towards them, before placing Grimm back into the Xros Loader. She would offer it to Astram, who refused for the moment. Then she would turn to the trio they met when they first got here. "I wonder how much longer till the Trailmon is ready?" she would ask, realizing instead of going to the Dark Area, they would have to head back to the real world for now, if only to wait for Grimm to return to Grimmon, and not knowing that it was not the truth, thought the human world would be safer for raising a baby digimon.

Kshin tilted his head in thought before he said "Well I really don't know many human lullabies but I do understand how things can change over the years be they lullabies or even stories. This is just one of many ways that humans and digimon seem to be alike." Kshin then took notice of the fact that baby Grimm was now asleep and decided to keep his voice a bit lower so as not to disturb the reborn digimon.
"I wouldn't worry too much, darling. Just keep practicing and you'll get it. It is fortunate that digimon such as us tend to get used to new bodies fairly quickly even if mostly by instinct." Mona replied her tone remaining neutral as if the older digimon was not bothered in the least by Astram's grumpy tone.
When Astram slipped on a mop Grace trotted over and asked "Astram, are you alright?"
When Makiko and Astram got off the ship as well Makiko thanked both the captain and told Soulmon not to lose confidence. In response both CaptainHookmon and Soulmon waved goodbye to everyone before the ship gradually pulled away slowly sailing out of sight. When Makiko asked how much longer till the Trailmon was ready and Kshin answered "It shouldn't be too long."
Turns out the young Gumdramon was right as the sound of a Trailmon coming down the track was heard before a Trailmon(Worm) came into view before slowly rattling to a stop. Once stopped Trailmon began opening all the doors to their passenger cars. "Departing in thirty minutes! All aboard!"

Like the magician he was, it turned out that Kshin was right, it was not long before the Trailmon pulled up, ready to take them back. "I will see you on the train, human, just do not take too long." Astram would state, before taking a moment to do a thief salute to the trio, and moving, a little bit better than before, towards the train. The practice seemed to have helped him steady up a bit, and it also seemed like that he was able to finally recover some of the speed he had from the initial evolution, if only slightly. With his back turned to everyone though, he was rather a little hesitant, he felt embarrassed and not ready to deal with people yet. He had not yet fully understood the terms of his evolution, nor the fact that his new form seemed to have magic running through it. Something he never wanted to touch before... did this happen because he accepted it? He did not know, but he did know that the results of this made him uneasy, but then he saw where his blade came from, and was resolute. He would join Makiko soon, he just had to get used to the idea of being part of a Xros General's army, he owed it to Grimm, and to the kindness of others, including Makiko. "Makiko, you stupid girl, I guarantee to protect you until you get back to your world..." he would mutter before climbing into the trailmon car, waiting for her to eventually catch up.
Makiko on the other hand, was taking her time to get to the trailmon. She had thirty minutes, "I hope Astram will get over his shyness soon." she would start with a little laugh. "Oh, Kshin, the song's name, is Kizuna." she would say, now that she was not being as quiet, and wrote it out on a piece of paper, before passing it to him, the lyrics and all, in Japanese. She did not know if a digimon could read it, but it was a song she did not know the translation of into any other language. "I hope this helps you." she states, before smiling at the older digimon and the one who seemed the youngest.
"Thank you three for takin care of myself, and my allies for the duration of this odd series of events, I hope that we may meet once again in the far flung future." she would state, letting the dialect slip.
She would then start walking towards the trailmon. Reflecting on it, she still remembered message that popped up on her Xros Loader earlier... what was it about? She also remembered the momentary declaration she made. It was important that she aimed to make that a full and important part of herself from here on. She would not be as reckless from here on, and she owed it to Grimm. She also realized she had a lot to learn about digimon. At least Grimm was not gone forever, but she did not want to risk it ever happening again... She needed to be better, not for herself, but for those around her. She was just a human, but a also she was a Xros General. That meant failure was on her shoulders, and that meant she had to guide her team, and get them to carefully grow, mature, and move in ways that preserved them, and allowed them to thrive at a better pace. This was her need, but it would take time to learn what she needed to. She would have a lot of reading and learning to do in the meantime.
Finally, she would cross the bounds between the outside of the Train, and the inside of the car, and sit down across from Astram, pulling out her diary, she started reviewing her notes. This would be a long trip, but luckily, unlike last time, she would be returning home, and as such would not have to keep as much an eye, it was one of the easier routes to follow. She would take note to reach out to the trio again if they ever needed help. It was important to have allies, and even more so to have friends you could rely on. She might have to reach out to Kima again, if only for the sake of getting more guidance, or maybe find a teacher... So much to do, so little way to manage it for now.

Back in the trundra, where the mysterious lady stood. Her previous home currently quiet, as she settled down for the night. She was looking through the monitor that was one of the randomly distorted televisions that had been out in the snow, and placed it there carefully. She wondered what happened to some of her old allies, but only momentarily as she watched over that group. Maybe the violet haired girl had learned something new? Hard to say, but it was important that she had regained her resolve. She then looked over to the other side of the screen, and saw the faces of a DarkTyrannomon X and a MadLeomon, both of striking color and hiding in a cave from a creature that was just barely too big to enter. A large claw reaching in, trying to get to them, and they seemed to be having trouble fighting off, barely enough room to stay out of reach, but not enough to escape. They had been running for days, and soon, they might starve.
"Sapphy, I think we may need to hope that our lovely Xros General gets to them soon, or we may need to give them a boon... do not want those two dying if we can help it... it might disrupt the fun." She would laugh, her blue eyes and white hood reflected in the screen, a face twisted in enjoyment, but also with a hint of what one could almost call expectation. She would mold this girl, and her team. She would make them become stronger, if only for her own amusement. "Lets hope this brute you sent their way does not spoil our fun!" the familiar's voice would ring out, a slight bit of enchanting lilt to it, as if spoken by someone constantly in the sways of visions and witchy nature. These two would then turn off the TV for the night. They would do something tomorrow, if only to keep up the entertainment. What were they planning, and why? One would have to ask them...

Right after Trailmon pulled up and opened their doors one of the first of the group to begin to board as Astram even telling Makiko not to take too long. Sure the tone was grumpy and abrasive but that just seemed to be how he was. Grace fluttered her wings flying to Trailmon being the first of Kshin's group to board. Mona shook her head at both Astram and Grace's eagerness to board before following herself. She had gotten used to looking out for both Kshin and Grace.
"Maybe with time Astram will not only open up to you, but Grimm as well." Kshin said while watching the others board before Makiko spoke up again mentioning the name of the song she was singing before causing Kshin to look at her watching as she wrote the lyrics in Japanese before passing it to him. He glanced at the lyrics for a bit before he said "Despite the emo vibe the lyrics have it does seem like a pretty song so I can see how it can work for a lullaby."
"I hope we can meet again too. It was nice to meet you all even if your partners can come off as abrasive." Kshin said with a smile.
Soon Kshin boarded the Trailmon sitting with Grace and Mona watching Makiko pull out what seemed to be a diary before writing in it. Then Kshin turned his gaze before looking out the window as the Trailmon pulled out. Sure the trip would be long and he and his group was even able to catch a nap along the way. Sure they weren't going to the Human World getting off not far from his adoptive Grandfather's village. Kshin, Grace, and Mona would still have a ways to walk after disembarking but before getting the waved goodbye to Makiko and her partners.
