Personality: Riku Fumikage in the beginning was a rather cheerful and artistic child. He would spend his days doing various art projects such as painting, sketching, D7D dice molding or miniature painting! He wasn't always the best student, but he tried his best! Aside from his art, he enjoys things such as cooking, baking and exercise such as parkour. He even though he won't admit it now is also quite the romantic and empathetic soul. He has just shut himself off to avoid getting hurt again. Before everything went wrong Riku always had an easy going smile on his face. Now it is hard for anyone to get a visible smile on the boy's face though he is capable of being happy.
Now that Riku has lost everything he cares about, he keeps his heart extremely guarded. He is very slow to trust, but when he does trust someone he will go to the ends of the Earth to keep them safe, and will do anything he can to make them happy. In terms of romance Riku loves creative bubby girls who have a strong light to them. He likes women who can actually make him laugh.

Personal History: Riku Fumikage was born on August 2002 to Kimiko & Jack Fumikage. Riku's father having taken his wife's last name as a way to honor her. The pair were the owners of a tabletop game store in Akihabra. Due to this, Riku grew up with an intense love of all things game & art related! He also learned from an early age all about accepting others despite their differences due to the fact that his mother was a paraplegic due to an accident when she was young. Riku's favorite games to play when he was younger were things that involved roleplay & strategy, his favorite of all time being Dungeons and Dragons which he not only played with his parents, but with a group of regular customers that he was allowed to watch play when he turned 5, and was eventually allowed to join at the age of 10.
Despite how creative & inteligent Riku was from the jump, he was never very good at school. This wasn't because he wasn't good at taking tests, but because he didn't really apply himself in most scholastic areas because he found most schooling boring. He'd much rather be writing his own stories, painting or creating Dungeons and Dragons dice, Minis and terrain. As a way to get their child to apply himself, his parents made a deal with him. They promised that if he started to get good grades, they would allow him to get a job at their game store. That way he could do what he loved for a living while also remaining close to his parents.
Once Riku entered his middle school years, he found that his interests seemed to catch the eye of both girls and boys alike of his age. Though a lot of them didn't really fit what he felt he wanted. That was until he met a beautiful Scottish exchange student named Amelia who went by Amy when he was 14. The two quickly hit it off due to their mutual love of the arts, and of baking. The two were often considered as a pair in most things. They were also often referred to as "Sun & stars." by those who participated in shipping culture. They were so connected that Riku's parents offered her an after school job at their game shop, so that the pair didn't have to be without one another.
The good times wouldn't last forever though, as when Riku turned 18 his father was diagnosed with cancer. As a result, Riku decided to ditch his plans to go to a fancy art school in order to take over running his parents game shop since it was their pride and joy. To his surprise Amelia joined him in this pursuit. This showed Riku & his parents that Amelia was the one, and so the night before Amelia's 19th birthday, Riku's mother would give her son her old engagement ring, and on Amelia's birthday the next night during dinner Riku popped the question by placing the ring on top of a cupcake, and presenting it to her. The beautiful woman said yes, and officially joined the family though they agreed to have a long engagement, so that Riku's father could finish his cancer treatments, and be at the wedding. Sadly the wedding would never happen!
Three years later, Riku & Amelia were now officially running the game shop as a happy family, as Riku's parents had retired. It was Halloween night, and a bunch of costumed monsters were out and about. Riku was on his way home from buying candy for the trick or treaters. When he arrived home he would see a sight that would shatter his world forever. There was ambulances and police cars outside the shop, the shop was all busted up and the door broken into. Despite the cops trying to stop him, Riku would force his way inside to find both his parents and his fiance in a pool of their own blood dead on the ground. As the man fell to the ground into the blood the cops told him that a pair of women in halloween costumes had broken in to rob the place with fire-arms. The police officer also said that Amelia had tried to defend them all, but they were all gunned down. In Riku's heart break he would run up to the loft above the shop to attempt to find his father's hidden gun to try and get revenge. However fate would have different plans. Once he got upstairs, He would be blinded by a bright black light, and his life would be changed forever, as he left his old world and life behind.
