Ayaka looked at how the fight progressed, and all the showy displays that Ryusei was making. They didn't seem to be that effective, but at least him practically shouting his attacks was amusing.
"Ryusei-san, are you actually being serious?" Ayaka said with a mix between a teasing and amused tone "All that shouting and you just kicked that poor Tyrannomon into the back of the net? Maybe you should reconsider changing your career to a wrestling announcer. That way your true talents would not be wasted".
Mana giggled at her partner's joke. It was a rare ocurrence that the usually serious digimon used a sarcastic remark, even even rare that it was in the middle of a battle, but she had to appreciate her sense of humor. Hopefully Ryusei wouldn't take it too bad, as it was tad obvious that it only was just a joke.
"Maybe I can help you this time, so you actually hurt this guy?" she said a faint orange hue began surrounding Ryusei's body, condensing itself around him until it finally entered on a rather violent manner. It'd most likely sting a little (unless Ryusei was a sissy), but the dragon man would immediately feel both his attack and speed almost triplied afterwards. It depended on him how he'd seize that power boost now.

Ayaka's using Everburning Spirit (Summer) on Ryusei (Ayaka raises her target's speed and attack to such high levels that the exertion ends up damaging it for a rookie-level attack. Lasts 2 posts. After the boost from this ability ends, all the cooldowns of the target are reduced by one post.).

"Spacemon, look out!"
Ryusei dashed away as the MetalTyrannomon fired the missile from its right arm, avoiding it. He then sighed in awe as everyone began their attacks. And he was a bit amused as Sparks called him "Spacemon".
"Pfft! I'm a great astronaut n y'know, rite? I'm da SPAAAAACE!" Ryusei chuckled as he replied to Sparks comment before shouting. He then shouted again, "AERO!"
AERO, ON.
By the announcement of Ryoko's Digivice, The Stamper module disappeared, and the new modules materialized in its place. It was a jet engine-like module. Ayaka then commented about Ryusei more suited into wrestle announcer. He then chuckled again in response, amusing her joke. He would like to be something better than that, of course. A Toku actor, a suit actor, or...
"Well, y'know, I wanna be wrestler or voice actor, but an announcer sounds good enuff." Ryusei said in response to Ayaka's joke.
"NAO!" Ryoko shouted as she noticed Nadeshiko and Yuuki arrived on the scene, prompting the former to shoot.
"Alright, baby! Celestial Arrow!" Nadeshiko shouted as she shot the arrow, aiming to MetalTyrannomon's hand with missile port.
The Acerimon then blew the orange hue to him, before it condensed around him, having the Mega to grunt to bear with it before it finally entered him. He gained extra speed and even more power.
"Yossha~! Limit Break KITAAAAAAAA~!" Ryusei shouted again before he launched himself before hovering above MetalTyrannomon. He then started the engine in the Aero Jet Module on his left leg, having it suck the large quantity of air.
"Rider Aero Burst!" If Patch managed to get the MetalTyrannoomon's vision impaired, he would shout as he blew a large tornado from the jet engines, attempting to disorienting him. And the stamp blinked in red light...

Metaltyrannomon couldn't see. The net was blinding him. The stream of wind disoriented him as well. And it nearly blew Sparks off his arm. After getting his fill of electricity, Sparks created a large sword of condensed electricity. He then drove it into Metaltyrannomon's forearm. Metaltyrannomon roared loudly. "No swearing, there are kids here!" Sparks joked. Metaltyrannomon raised his right arm. "Sparks, get off!" Nova warned. Metaltyrannomon slammed his arm into the ground and Sparks with it. Nova ran over to Sparkmon. As he did this, Metaltyrannomon began shining brightly.
"Initaitng Digivolution. Metaltyrannomon digivolve to Rust Tyranomon!" Nova was too busy worrying about Sparkmon to notice or care about the Digivolution. Sparks wasn't moving. Nova could see Sparks opening one eye slightly. Sparks could see metal claws coming straight for Nova. Look out! Sparks warned. Nova turned just in time to see Rust Tyranomon's right hand coming straight for him. Rust Tyranomon held Nova in his right hand. Nova was struggling to get free. "You know, I'm getting real sick and tired of being the one who needs saving!" Nova complained.
Then he saw energy building up in Rust Tyranomon's mouth. He's going to sacrifice his arm to get me!
OOC: I'm holding off on posting in this thread until my Kyupimon Hunt is done. Sparkmon's electricity stays at 80% this turn.

The extra little boost Ayaka was weaning a little bit, but he was still very energized. When he had managed to wrap MetalTyranomon in the net, he skidded down the length of his back and landed deftly on the ground on the other side just in time for Ryusei to release a tornado to blind the ultimate even more.
The champion lion-man dove to the ground and rolled a few feet away to avoid the gusting winds. When he glanced up again, the MetalTyranomon was digivolving to Rust Tyranomon! He quickly gathered himself and moved closer to his tamer, placing his massive arms around her. AJ struggled against him. "No Patch! Don't worry about me! Go get Sparks!" A growl rumbled in Patch's chest as he pulled her farther away.

Okay, this wasn't as easy as how it looked before. MetalTyrannomon now was a giant rusted dragon guy that looked to be a little creepy.
<RustTyrannomon; Level: Mega; Type: Cyborg; Attribute: Virus; Families: Metal Empire>.
And was a mega now, of all things. Granted, that stamp that Ryusei had left on the cyborg's left arm seemed to be about to explode in any second now. So Ryusei only needed all the power he could get to try and rescue Nova from the cyborg's seemingly non-lethal grip, and most likely he would be able to get him free while he reeled from both the stamp's damage and whatever thing the dragon was about to do.
Ayaka concentrated in the dragon-man hoping that he would do some damage this time around or... who knows how much collerateral damage that mechanized terror could do. A green aura enveloped Ryusei's body, healing his wounds (that Ayaka herself had inflicted) and raising his attack potential even further. That would have to do for now. Both Nova and Spark's fate rested on Ryusei's hands now.
Mana looked puzzled at Patch coming back. It seemed that he cared a great deal for Avery, because she was being dragged farther away from the battle scene by him. For a second, she felt like wanting to go there and tell Patch that he wouldn't have to worry because she'd take care of the black-haired girl, but what they had in front of them was a mega, and the possibilities of the Leomon being deleted by it were just too big and... she didn't want for that to happen. So she waved at them while she screamed.
"Don't worry, Avery-san! Ryoko-sama and me will handle this just fine! You and Patch-san should look for a safe place, should things go awry!".

Ryusei thought they got an upper hand. However, it was different when MetalTyrannomon digivolved into RustTyrannomon. Oh, good. So Ryusei got an equal opponent. But with all the buffs Ayaka gave to him, it was possible to defeat him in the seconds, if he decided to be serious.
However, the rusty dino managed to grab Nova with his right hand, before about to shoot something from his mouth at the boy. And the net was about to break soon. The stamp in RustTyrannomon's left hand flashed red, and glowed violently as it...
KA-BOOM!
The stamp would detonate in RustTyrannomon's left hand. Maybe that was good chance to weaken him somehow? Oh, and Ayaka gave more buffs to Ryusei. It was the healing spell and increased his attack power further. He could feel the power flowing inside him.
"OVERDRIVE KITAAAAAAAAAAAA~!" Ryusei shouted to his lungs and heart after he gained more power. Now he felt like he gained a "Super Mode", like in video games. "I'm Ryusei 'da AstroGreymon! Let's settle 'tis mano-to-mano nao!" Ryusei declared as he pointed the drilled Rocket Module at RustTyrannomon.
The Mega Dragon man then flew towards RustTyrannomon, with the drilled end of right Rocket Module gyrating, and the chainsaw blade in the end of left Rocket Module spinning. He was thinking about to finish this bad guy soon, or so he thought.
"Time to peel yo' rusts, overgrown rusty lizard! RIDER... DRAMON BUSTEEEEEEEEEEER!" Ryusei shouted hammily as the draconic aura enveloped both Rocket Modules. He then attempted to cut through RustTyrannomon's right arm with the left Rocket Module, before trying to send a flying uppercut with drilled right Rocket Module at his mouth. Since Dramon Buster deals greater damage on dragon-type Digimons and alike, would it affect the rusty dinosaur?
"Sparky-chan!" Yuuki exclaimed as she ran to Sparkmon, attempting to take him. Nadeshiko then shot some more arrows at RustTyrannomon's right arm, attempting to free Nova from his clutch.

(OOC: to make up for the long wait, here's an even longer post!) Nova hung his head in defeat. He truly believed his demise was imminent. His back hurt. It was hard to tell if it was because of Sparks of if it was backpack being squeezed into him. It's over...Are you really just going to give up?Nova grit his teeth at his partner's voice. But what can I do? I'm about to get blasted! Nova replied. Remember your sister and what you wanted give her! Sparks reminded. Nova's eyes snapped open in realization. He's right, I can't give up. Not until Ryoko's autograph enters her possession, Nova thought. A virtuous flame seemed to burn in his eyes. The autograph he received earlier seemed to give him strength. He began struggling again. Then the bomb went off. Rust Tyrannomon looked at his left hand in confusion of what happened. Then Ryusei's attack came. It struck his lower jaw. It didn't break, but it caused Rust Tyrannomon to lose his grip on Nova. It's a good thing too as the arrows didn't seem to do much. He fell to the ground below. He was then caught by five Kyupimons he recognized immediately. Instead of allowing himself to be dragged away, he used the taller Rookie's hand to stand himself up. "Do me a favor and quit calling me Sparky," he told Yuuki. "I thought I told the five of you to wait for us at the Village of Beginnings." Sparks glanced over to see Angie and the others gently lower Nova to the ground. "We heard the rumbling and got worried," Angie replied. "Yeah, we got here as fast as we could after hearing those explosions," Pit added. "We will talk about this later," Nova said. "Angel Ring!" The Kyupimons each hurled a ring of light at Sparks. "Yep, that feels much better," Sparks commented as he felt the healing effects. Nova held up his Fusion Loader. (Cue music: Legendary Air Ride Machine Kirby’s Air Ride OST)"Lets wrap this up! Sparkmon!""Bring it on!""Kyupimons!""Ready!""Digifuse!" The screen of Nova's Fusion Loader lit up like a Christmas tree. Sparkmon floated into the air. The five Kyupimon flew towards him as five streaks of light.They had become intangible, entering Sparkmon's body. His black markings faded away. He gained two feet in height. Four more teeth stuck out of his mouth. His gloves also had become fingerless sometime during his growth spurt. His muscles had also become more defined. Next the fin atop his head elongated into a horn similar to that of a Kyupimon's, tacking on another three inches. His gloves turned white. Next, a pair of three foot angelic wings sprouted from his back. To top it off, a ring of light formed around his right forearm and a halo around his horn. "Let's light this candle!" Sparks said as he raised his right arm. The holy ring floated up high into the air. Once it was high enough, it expanded. "Judgement!" Sparks abruptly lowered his hand. Lightning rained down on the metal juggernaut. "Now that's what I call shock and awe," he stated. Sometime during this, the screen of Nova's Digivice lit up again, and this time his wouldn't be the only one. The other Digivices would too. Upon seeing this, Nova held up his Digivice again. A beam of light shot from the screen right at the metal menace, causing it to roar in pain. "Everyone, hold up your Digivices!" |

There was so much action going on all at one time, it was really hard for the teen process everything. And with a six-foot-tall lion man holding her back, this impeded on her senses to be able to take everything in and sort it out. Avery was vaguely aware of Mana shouting something to her. She watched as Ryusei digivolved to AstroGreymon. Out of nowhere five or so Kyupimons flew at Sparkmon and he seemed to grow a few more feet as well as gaining wings.
"Everyone, hold up your Digivices!"
AJ blinked then stumbled for her own grey-and-white device before holding it out just as Nova had commanded. She wasn't exactly sure what would be the result, but she figured it had something to do with ending this battle.

It had been the moment of truth; Ryusei's bomb has exploded, his attack had been somewhat effective, even if it wasn't a nearly as effective as the fairy had hoped, given that his attack power has been easily multiplied by four, but things as they are, she couldn't do anything about that. Ayaka's Everburning Spirit left Ryusei's body shortly afterwards, giving him a last burst of vitality.
Now, things were beginning to get interesting, as Sparkmon DigiXrossed with five Kyupimons that appeared suddenly, he adopted an even more powerful form. Another attack flew, and this time, and now, the RustTyrannomon was seemingly paralyzed? Neither the digimon or the human knew, but just afterwards, Nova's digivice lit up with a white light, sending a ray of pure energy towards the rusted cyborg; that one was totally unexpected, who knew that digivices could do that, but if it had been useful for Nova, Mana too decided to go for it. She raised her D-3 in that very same instant, poiting it at the hostile digimon while she waited for something to happen. Ayaka, as skeptic as always, just did repeated the same gesture that before, bestowing Ryusei again with her Everburning Spirit, should things go awry.

Alright, looks like the battle turned into Nova and the allies' favor. Granted, both of Ryusei's attacks had proven effective, to at least weaken that rusty dino's grip on Nova. 's attention. Soon, what was coming into the battlefield caught the space dragon man. There were group of Cupimons arriving into the scene, picking up Nova from the fall. Looks like Nova had backup after all. Given he was a Xros General, it would make sense.
"Ya okay, Novey?" Ryusei asked to the teen. He then faced the RustTyrannomon and did a mocking gesture to him, before turning around to point his butt at the Mega machine-type, trying to taunt him.
"C'mon, rusty dino! Have ya been rusty for ages? Have yo' armors not cleaned 'n treated snice Mesozoic Age? A-ha! Come n get me, old fart! Bu-Buu~!" Ryusei taunted as he spanked his but aimed at the Rusty Tyrannomon's face with the flat part of scissor end of left Rocket Module. Well, hopefully it would not enrage him too much.
And then Sparksmon fused with Cupimons into... an angelic version, and taller form. He then used some kind of technique, which would require the Tamers and General to hold up their Digivices. When Nova told so, Ryoko joined in as well, holding up her Digivice. Then, a burst of light from its screen fired to the rusty Mega, and it was followed by Ayaka's spell of Everburning Spirit, which stings the Space Dragon Man a bit, but it gave him, yet another, power boost. Looks like he would end this fight soon enough.
If the Judgment attack successfully hurt that rusty dino, Ryusei would fly around and cut the RustTyrannomon's weapons, and then slash and drill his body with Rider Dramon Buster attack afterwards.

OOC: Pega, Judgement doesn't require the power of Digivices. This is just a plot device.
"I am now, thanks to you," Nova answered Ryusei as his Digivice was joined by the others. Three more beams of light made contact with the cyborg. As a result, the metal dino was enveloped in a blinding flash, which made Nova and Sparks shield their eyes. When the light faded, it revealed Metaltyrannomon passed out on the ground. "For a second there I thought he was Digivolving again," Sparks stated. Metaltyrannomon bursted into a cloud of data, revealing a regular Tyrannomon underneath. "Okay, I was not expecting that," Nova stated.
Sparks raised his arm as his ring of light floated back down to his wrist and contracted. He then grabbed a branch off a random tree and began prodding Tyrannomon with it. "I'm going to go pay for our food. Sparks, you let me know if the big guy does anything," Nova stated as he walked over to the restaurant entrance. "Will do," Sparks replied as he continued prodding the dino. "Everything is alright!" Nova assured his fellow customers upon re-entering the restaurant. He then walked over to the counter and paid Digitamamon the cost for the meals. All in all, everything turned out for the best.
But what would Tyrannomon do now?

AJ blinked away the brighteness that the combined Digivices had caused. When her vision cleared, her gray-blue orbs flickered to the regular Tyranomon as the light subsided.
She let her arm swing back down to her side and she sighed. Pocketing the device, she smiled at Patch, but her gaze flickered as Nova ran back into pay for his food. That reminded her that she also needed to pay. She might be in a different world, but she had not been raised to steal or not pay. She glanced back at Patch. The Leomon still braced his sword in case the Tyranomon decided to try anything funny. |

Apparently, the blinding light show that the digivices had done had given a very hard time to the RustTyrannomon. First, he had devolved again to MetalTyrannomon, and right after into your normal, everyday Tyrannomon. Puzzled by why their D-3's (and Nova's Xros Loader) had done that, Mana just dedicated herself to observe the unconscious red dinosaur that was now spraled on the ground.
"Okay, that was weird" she muttered to herself, but that wasn't important as of now, at least "Everyone is alright, right? Nova-san, you aren't hurt? I don't know if you should run after surviving that guy's grip".
Ayaka returned at her side, slowly and just as perplexed as her partner. She had seen her fair share of weird things, but this one had definitely been one of the weirdest. Immediately checking on Mana to see if she was alright, she guessed that that RustTyrannomon maybe wasn't that bad? Or maybe she was just stupid, because instead of trying to shot at him, he'd just had to squeeze on a not-so-hard fashion and Nova was definitely done for. A Mega's strength wasn't something to joke about, but she was digressing. Glad that her partner was alright she just stood on her place, waiting to see if anybody was hurt after the fight.

Hmm. It was weird. Somehow the Digivices acted up and their light degenerated the RustTyrannomon back into MetalTyrannomon. He then passed out shortly afterwards and degenerated again into the regular, basic Tyrannomon. With him passed out, it seemed that it wouldn't wake up too soon. Or, if he did, it wouldn't be too much problem for them to take on.
"Phew, glad it's taken care of." Ryoko sighed in relief.
At last, the battle ended in somewhat... peaceful way. No harms on both sides. The gang then re-entered the restaurant and sat back at their seats. While Ryoko and Ryusei were done with their meals, Yuuki and Nadeshiko.weren't done with theirs. Yuuki then ate the salad, while Nadeshiko drank the lemonade. Now all of them were done with their meals and...
"So, we're goin', Mana-chin?" Ryoko asked the fangirl. "I can't wait to see dat Beverly chick in person."

Meanwhile, as Nova finished eating, Sparks was still proding the Tyrannomon. Are you sure you should be poking him like that? Hope asked in the back of Sparkmon's mind. Why else would I being doing it? Sparks asked. Then the giant began to stir. He sat up, rubbing his head. "What happened?" he asked drowsily. "What's the last thing you remember?" Sparks asked. "I remember being captured by a bunch of machine Digimon. Everything after that is a blur," Tyrannomon answered. The Machinedra Army! Sparks guessed.
"I also vaguely remember a strange War Greymon taunting me," Tyrannomon mentioned. Sparks couldn't help but laugh. "What's so funny?" the dino asked. "Oh nothing," Sparks answered. Nova, you know who is awake, Sparks told the bluenette. And? Nova asked. He doesn't remember a thing. Except one part involving Ryusei of course, Sparks answered.
"Sparks is telling me the big guy is awake, but can't remember what happened," Nova told the others. "If I had to guess, I'd say he was being controlled this whole time." If the the Digimon after him were capable of capturing and controlling Digimon, who knows what lengths they would go to? "Well actually, he vaguely remembers Ryusei," Nova stated.
