Post by illudramon on Apr 3, 2024 5:45:47 GMT
Digimon Name: IlluGuilmon
Default Form: IlluGuilmon
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral
Skills/Talents: + Aquatic affinity - Illu has an affinity for all bodies of water, swimming, diving, searching.. Entering the depths of the seas is as second nature to Illu as fleeing from others
+Swordplay - While his weapon tends to change from form to form, in rookie - his weapon of choice happens to be a sword whose outer blade can turn into a second sword. Vermillion reminiscence. That’s his swords name.
Inventory: Vermillion reminiscence - A silver curved scimitar that has a double edged red blade (Sheath?) coating it. The scimitar is too sharp, and often feels unnatural to use. While the outer shell weakens it, it allows Illu to fight without nearly as much of a struggle. The scimitar is for emergencies only.
Personality: Blunt and antisocial - Illu’s whole life has been full of being chastised. An odd Guilmon, how amusing! Odd mirrors and a far less playful personality. Insecurities stuck out with word he uttered. Illu loathes how powerless he feels - or more specifically, how useless he feels. He’s not some chosen warrior, and he has no desire to beg a human for help. He’s afraid he’ll be unworthy of fighting alongside a human, and yet expressing it comes out all wrong. “You have no way of helping me” - “You can’t understand why I fight. Don’t bother.”
He isolates himself, and still yearns for an end to his solitude. How much longer will he have to roam the world in search of something that, to him, he knows not its appearance or feel? Companionship can be as valuable as the greatest treasure, or it can be as worthless as a grain of sand. Illu has a horrid habit of second guessing himself, talking himself down whenever things start to look bleak. Why should he have faith in himself? When he's so hopeless to begin with?
Personal History:
During times where the digital world was new - and the lands resembled an endless wasteland, the gods were at work creating their first forms of life. Wisemon - tyrannomon - and a myriad of other beings. As they conversed and planned - One digimon realized that they needed to preserve the changes made to the world. His databanks memory was not enough. So he became a scribe, AncientIlludramon dedicated himself to the gods. This being was intelligent. Extremely so. He would listen to their discussions of gods and digimon and record every last detail - keeping them organized with wondrous efficiency. Then digimon began to corrupt. For some reason - something evil had begun to spawn in them, and they began to seek to destroy others and the gods that made them. So the gods gathered an army. AncientIlludramon would serve as well out of his own volition, as a warrior. Once the war was won - AncientIlludramon - now named Alhaythem, went back to his work without a complaint. He had no attachments. He had no reason to be other than to work, save for one. An ancientwisemon that had been killed during the war. His only friend. He lamented their death. He didn’t want to go on without a companion in life, so he began to experiment with creating life. …The gods found out. It was a forbidden art. He would be executed had he not dedicated himself so. Instead - he was exiled. He began to explore the endless wasteland of sand and sunlight. He complained not.. He studied the flow of data - and the law of the land. He could warp it - should his will be strong enough. He slowly began to experiment as he traveled.. A plant sprouted. Life. Months passed - AncientIlludramon had created an oasis. An endless jungle paradise. He had discovered datamancy - and had almost perfected it. He used it to forge fourteen Ancientwisemon, each one resembling different aspects of his friend. For a while, he could live on happily. For three years.. And then the gods found him. He had come too close to godhood - as a result, he was slain. His art of datamancy was taken by the gods in order to shape the digital world into what it was today - and time passed. His creations were spared.. …But he wasn’t dead. Not yet. His core.. the very essence of his being.. He managed to trap it in a cycle. The ‘Samsara system’. He would never die. He would be reborn as an ‘IlluGuilmon’. He could try again. Except he was slain mere months after being reborn. A tyrannomon crushed him beneath its foot.. His bones echoed an audible crunch. So he was reborn again! And again.. and again.. His own consciousness was slowly forced to rest - a new one took its place. A new personality and self. This one was.. righteous. It wasnt spiteful, and it was.. kind of stupid. As it fought to protect others.. it found out about the armies of the gods… He wanted in. He trained and fought - on the thirteenth cycle, IlluOceanidmon was born. He was an ultimate at the moment - as IlluGrowlmon was set as a constant thanks to Alhaythems hard work.
…He tried.. and tried - but he died. His conciousness was lulled into a sleep within the digicore. It was another random personality that took its place. Slowly, two others joined them.. IlluComposedramon - a female who had disdain for her very being. She was pained to simply be alive. She didn’t want people looking at her.. IlluHydrangeamon - a perfect level digimon. He was a modern disciple of alhaythems teachings - and a scholar. A promising way for Alhaythem to regain his body.. IlluHydrangeamon was much more common - and it became a constant for the ultimate or.. ‘perfect’ level.
…IlluComposedramon and IlluOceanidmon were both megas - alternates that mirrors each other. Both skilled with Hydromancy. Alhaythem took the helm as an Ultra.
He was going to become a god. He was going to overthrow the current gods and make a paradise! Until most IlluGuilmon failed. They began to die in droves - constantly failing more and more.. the mirrors eroded as the eons went by. The selves that were laid to rest slowly fell into an eternal rest.. The core they inhabited hid the mirror gene - becoming a normal Guilmon core for the time being. Eons passed.
Until Illu came along. A shattered ancientwisemon shard was ingested by a Gigimon.
He became IlluGuilmon. He felt horrible.
He’s 19, living alone. He’s ran from his village and slowly distanced himself from others. For all he claims that he wants to leave others be, He attempts to help those he finds in need, proven they don’t try to kill him on sight.
Since Illu was born, he had the slumbering Samsara system within his core. His dreams were plagued with the voice of AncientIlludramon, and slowly poisoned his mind with self deprecating thoughts. Even now, his waking mind melts and warps as AncientIlludramon continued to spit venemous words right into him.
Fresh
Species: IlluJyarimon
Appearance: Red orb? No. IlluJyarimon follows the themes of his later forms. Black scales, silver shards coating its body in a symmetrical pattern, silver mirror flecks adorning his cheeks while blue triangular scales adorn his forehead. His small wings contain flecks of mirrors peppered sporadically and randomly. Unlike his crimson counterpart, IlluJyarimon tends to stay within beach caves. Something about the water helping to keep them hidden from predators. Of course, since IlluJyarimon are only spied eons apart, their dependence on caverns may be a misnomer. A trick of the light, maybe.
With biological habits aside, many tend to stick to isolation. Their black scales keeping them out of the light, and the mirrors on their body reflect any light. They're easy to see from the sky, and still bird digimon seldom go near them for one reason or another. They could be too spiky, or too stressed.. Whatever the reason, they won't die that quickly.
Attribute: Free
Family/ies: Dragons roar - Deep davers
Type: Dinosaur
Fighting Style: Agile and aloof - as an orb, he’s somehow surprisingly fast! Quick bashes and bites should keep him safe, but past that, he’s got little in the way of defense, and his mirrors leave him more than vulnerable.
Abilities: Polished scales (Passive) - For each turn in combat, Illu’s speed is increased by 5%, up to a total of 30%. Upon reaching top speed, Illu’s defense is lowered by 50%.
Digivolves To: IlluGigimon
In-Training
Species: IlluGigimon
Appearance: Not dissimilar to IlluJyarimon. Black scales and symmetrical blue markings, mirrors shine through at random, decorating his body and seeming unpolished or unrefined. This form acts much more cautiously. Unlike IlluJyarimon, their movements and posture are reserved and silent. Mostly moving at night, their tail assists with sensing movements in the wind near them. Should a rookie level digimon be nearing, the IlluGigimon will hide themselves amidst the greenery, settling for a life of travel upon reaching in-training. Of course, the threats havent died down, and due to their.. less than humbling scale colors, some are theorized to be kept as pets in order to symbolize status! However, these theories have little proof behind them due to IlluJyarimon's members never existing at the same time.
Supposedly, IlluGigimon's scales are rather sensitive. Any dust that reaches their mirrors tends to leave them dreadfully itchy for three days and three nights.
Attribute: Free
Family/ies: Dragons roar - Deep savers
Type: Dinosaur
Fighting Style: Much faster, and much more sensible. Illu remains at a range at this form. He has the limbs to leap back and the ability to fire from a distance. As an IlluGigimon, he’s got much more power in those limbs of his. He can leap, dash, and even defend himself to.. A degree. Still, he’s best off fighting at a distance like this.
Abilities: Acid bubbles - Acidic spit coalesces into bubbles, and is spat out at an enemy. These bubbles float at a moderate speed for up to ten feet before popping or being carried off by the wind. (Cooldown of one turn)
Polished scales (Passive) - For each turn in combat, Illu’s speed is increased by 5%, up to a total of 30%. Upon reaching top speed, Illu’s defense is lowered by 50%.

Rookie
Species: IlluGuilmon
Appearance: - 5’1
Guil-like isn't he? Hah! AncientIlludramon thought that a Guilmon would be the best choice for a rookie if he were to be reborn. Too many choices, and not too weak either! Sadly, due to rushing the samsara system, it resulted in Illu looking as he does now. Poor guy can't stand being stared at, but his legs sure are strong enough to serve him well! Wait till you see his champion~! He'll leave you in his dust for sure!
Attribute: Free
Family/ies: Dragons roar - Deep savers
Type: Dinosaur
Fighting Style: Finally, he can fight!
IlluGuilmon can call upon his sword once he reaches Rookie, but it tends to change with each form, so adapting is key, but in this form - Illu’s fast. Flimsy, not built to take attacks, but definitely able to use his speed to his advantage when dishing out attacks. Fast on his feet and quick to act, Illu does not like to hesitate.
Abilities: Mirror summon - Mirror summon - Summons a small, rather weak mirror around the size of a makeup stand mirror. Can ricochet weak attacks or reflect light elemental attacks created by Rookie digimon or lower. It shatters when hit by non-light based energy moves and contact based attacks. The move can only summon one mirror, and the mirror lasts for two turns. It can be summoned within a radius of 20 meters [Cooldown of 2 turns after disappearing]
Light blast - Light Blast - Blasts a ball of light the size of a soccer ball , can ricochet off mirrors or reflective surfaces once, at the cost of breaking the mirror. The mirror cannot be summoned again until Mirror summon is off cooldown. It travels a max of 25 feet. [Cooldown of 2 turns]
Hydroclaw - Water is pulled from nearby sources thanks to magic - it courses and flows around his right claw. He slashes at an enemy with every bit of strength he has! [No cooldown]
Breaking slash - A slash to the enemies side, upon hitting an enemy of the same strength or lower, inflict [break] on the target, reducing their resistance to status ailments by 40% and reducing their defense by 30% for three turns. (Cooldown of five turns)
Digivolves From: IlluGigimon
Digivolves To:IlluGrowlmon
Champion
Species: IlluGrowlmon
Appearance: - 16 feet in height
Tall, and acrobatic! His fighting style goes into detail, but unlike a crimson Growlmon, or even a yellow one, this one's got strong legs. Illu's flexible, agile, and much more confident! even if he's hidden behind a mask, there's not nearly as much for him to fear. Conversing with his single companion, the ball and chain that his sword morphed into, he finds hesitation difficult and moving so much easier. Chasing the wind comes easy to him now! And he won't ever go back!
Attribute: Free
Family/ies: Dragons roar - Deep saver
Type: Dinosaur
Fighting Style: Acrobatic and agile - Illu’s received new power in this form, and as such, he’ll use it to his best ability. Flipping, leaping and crashing onto his foes, slamming into them with his powerful legs and wrapping them up with that ball and chain! Sadly, his defenses don’t improve at all, but his movement and flexibility does!
Abilities: Fling! - Illu kicks at an enemy, if up close, the iron ball can follow up, if not, it can try to pressure an enemy to back off, giving him more time to think up his approach. It hurts his ankle if used too often. The chain can extend to 25 meters before flying back. It can wrap around any bits of the environment or any limbs as needed. The chain is rapidly created by the iron ball as it’s flung, and the chain is reabsorbed into data on return. [No cooldown, if used twice in a row, then a cooldown of two turns]
Move 2: Mirror summon II - A better version of the last summoning technique. A notably more oval-shaped mirror shows up which is around the size of a dressing room mirror, but cannot be moved at all. While it can be used as a shield, any attack from anything above perfect stage shatters it instantly. It can take up to three attacks and can reflect light based attacks off of itself. Two can be summoned at a time, and can be summoned within a radius of 20 meters. After three turns, they disappear. [Cooldown of 5 turns - The cooldown begins upon the expiry of both mirrors]
Move 3: Light blast II - A spiked ball of light, around the size of a basketball, is shot out of his maw. It has a max range of 20 feet before exploding. If it reaches its max range, or makes contact with something, the ball bursts and spines of light shoot out in a radius of 15 feet similar to shrapnel. The small spines pierce foes. [Cooldown of two turns]
Move 4: Funhouse - A Mirror shard projects an image of Illu, this one is much more fragile than the others he can summon in this form. While the Illusion will mirror his attacks, it’s just a projection, and cannot hurt its foes. If the small mirror is destroyed, then the move goes on cooldown. The mirror copy only lasts for two turns. It’s main purpose is to fake out a foe, and act as a distraction. [Cooldown of 3 turns]
