EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD [4/4] Mana blushed as the boy pressed his body against hers, but relaxed almost instantly. She really felt at home at Ryouta's side, and no matter how much he did that, she just couldn't get tired of that sensation. But she grew serious quickly after; they were coming.
As the rumbling grew in intensity. Ryudamon gulped as she nodded to Ryouta. She didn't know of she was going to be capable of command these digimon in first place, if they ever decided that they had a better idea, she wouldn't complain. It was funny, partly because the day before Dinohumon parted, she was going to be tested to see if she would advance to the next tier of trainees, and she was pretty proud of that because mostly champions were the ones who advanced in there. Yet, she had worked hard and had earned the right to be tested. But now, all those things seemed to be quite inconsequential in this very moment; she guessed that this would be far more difficult than any test that her trainers could make for her. Experience was the teacher of all things, after all, and this was no more and no less than experience in the very field of battle. She looked at all her protegés, and when she saw everyone supporting her in his own way, she had to correct her own thoughts. Those weren't protegés, they were her friends. People that had supported her decision, even knowing for their trainings with her that she wasn't really the most adequate person for the job, but would still give her all to get them out of this situation. She was even ready to pay the ultimate price, should that buy her friends safety, and specially... Liollmon's. He and Renamon were the ones who had offered her their friendship since she had entered this place, yet the feelings she had for the small lion were indeed... special, and only the vixen knew about those. She was her best friend and confidant, after all...
"You ready?" asked Renamon as she placed a paw on her shoulder "This will begin soon, and we'll need you at your best, Ryudamon-chan". "I know" she said as she took a deep breath and looked at their new makeshift defenses. Maybe they would buy them some time until the invaders discovered that it wasn't an actual wall and they could actuall break through, so they had to seize this newfound choke point as much as they could while it lasted. "Monmon, Guilmon, Renamon, Coredramon, I need you to focus your fire on the choking point while it lasts. Let none pass it while you can! Liollmon, V-mon, FanBeemon and Ayaka-dono will be on the vanguard as we try to hold them for enough time.
"We'll actually be on the back with the rest, Ryudamon-chan. Just trust us!" Mana said as she and Ayaka went to the backlines. The digimental returned to her D-Terminal, and she returned to her Kodamon form. It seemed pretty obvious to her that she had to change forms constantly if they were to confuse the culprit. She would have to restrain herself for now, not showing Ayaka's true power, but that was for the best until (or if) the culprit showed himself. She winked at Ryouta as she prepared herself, hoping that him had at least an idea about this. "Ryo-kun..." she said as she gripped his hand on a affectionate manner as the rumbling grew even louder "Don't you dare to ruin this moment with phrases like 'If things go wrong, run' or something like that, okay?" that bit was from the last time she had been in here and Charles had said just the same thing "If something bad happens, we'll be together no matter what, okay?".
The rumbling grew proggressively lounder until... a literal horde of BlackAgumons sprang forth. They were so many that they didn't seem to fit in the now-narrow corridor in front of them. They were really... uncountable. "Fire at will!" Ryudamon ordered as the front group readied themselves for the engagement. This would be definitely a bloodbath, and Ryudamon could only wonder if they actually had a chance.

The rumbling goes louder... louder and louder... He was nervous. He know Mana got Ayaka in her ultimate form, but if it's like this, then... What if something goes wrong? He was about to turn to his girlfriend to speak his mind, but when she said to not tell her about it, his eyes widened slightly. She just... read him? Oh wait, that's really standard line for all boyfriends, right? Ryouta chuckled and scratched the back of his neck.
"Man, you took the words from my mouth... but exactly as you said. We don't need that kind of heroism, does we? Mana, lemme be frank... I'm weak, and therefore... I'll need your protection, so... stay beside me. Whatever happened... if there's something really dreadful happened, then we'll fight... if it goes wrong, then we'll try to make it right. If we can't, then we'll run together. Fair enough?"
Coredramon smiled at the two lovers and began to charge his G-Shurunen II.
Aniki... you finally got someone who you can share all your pain with... someone you treasured really dearly... that's why... this time, lemme protect you and Mana-chan! No matter how weak I am, I'll still fight and tank the upcoming waves!
"Fire at will!!"
"G-SHURUNEN II!!"
Continuous blast of laser energy akin to tank shots shoot out from Coredramon's mouth, with precise aim through the narrowed pathway, blasting incoming BlackAgumons. Why so many? This felt so... so odd. This is no longer a normal attack. It's totally a massacre. The blue purebreed Dramon Digimon relentlessly shoots his favorite attack on the incoming forces. Like this, most likely they'll pushed back, giving room for the other Digimons to start attacking more.

Mana nodded at Ryouta, smiling at him as she unclasped her hand from his. She agreed with him, but this wasn't time for cheesy stuff. All the ranged digimons unleashed a barrage of attacks at the invaders, but to everyone's surprise, the attacks went just through the oncoming BlackAgumons. When the attacks stopped, and seemingly out of nowhere, eight BlackAgumons leapt from the webs with three DarkTyrannomons in tow. Their intent was very clear on their faces: it was murderous. So they expected their welcome, but they didn't know that Ayaka's silk was explosive. So, the betrayer was in their midst, but couldn't hear what Ryouta and she had talked about. This was their chance.
"Digimental UP!" Mana cried as Ayaka was enveloped by the coral cocoon of her second digimental, growing until she took the form of a massive salamander that was even a little bigger than a DarkTyrannomons. Andriactinarimon had joined the fray, and was quite ready to give the invaders a harsh time. Aiming and preparing herself in an instant she began lauching sea slugs that were roughly of the size of an Ogremon's fist. The first and the second ones were launched at the first group of webbed dinosaurs, which resulted on three explosions of data as both the slugs and the webs detonated on their faces, but as she was about to aim the rest towards the second group, she felt that her body didn't respond; it was almost if it had stopped working altogether, or as if she were viewing herself from the back of her mind, without control of her actions. And anybody that noticed her would see a light blue circle rounding her.
Whatever ran in Ayaka's veins froze as she heard a macabre and smug laugh. Without making a sound a on what it had seemed to be a perfectly silent gesture, now a blue vixen-like priest was holding an inconscious Mana by the scruff of Ryouta's parka while pointing her with a really big brush. She looked with an evil smirk at everyone present before she began talking. "So this one was the most powerful one of you two? It's rather dissapointing, to be honest. I'd thought that at least both of you could reach ultimate, but even this little girl couldn't even do it without the help of those damned digimentals. Anyway, I guess that prey is prey. Hopefully breaking her will be fun enough while my employers butcher you". And after saying that, she painted a circle in the air the her brush that spawned a portal that looked just like the one that served as Ayaka's prison and entered in there with Mana still on her arms.
The salamander couldn't even talk right now, but if she could, she would say so many expletives in this very moment. She had been relegated as mere expectator because of that damned digimon! Even if she had managed to bring three rookies down, they were still five rookies (granted, two more were still webbed, but if nobody did anything about that they'd break free soon enough) and three champions against a champion and six rookies; not a prospect to look forward exactly. Yet, the most affected of the combatants seemed to be Ryudamon. Her best friend... had betrayed her? She had given their lives away just for... money? She couldn't even believe that she was naive enough to trust in her when she was a mercenary all this time! Hot tears streamed her cheeks as she felt so much anger boiling inside her. She felt as if nothing mattered, but then looked at Ayaka for a split second. She and Mana, and Ryouta and Dracomon... those were real friends. People who were actually risking their lives so they could have a chance in this fight without even really knowing them. That... just couldn't be. It couldn't just end this way!
"Ryouta-san! Go and search for Mana-chan! We'll hold this until you return. Trust in me!" After saying that, the dragon produced a large katana from her mouth and wielded it. "We won't surrender this easily! We'll fight to the bitter end if necessary. Charge Forward!" She charged just at the same time that another barrage of proyectiles from the backline was launched.
OOC: And the culprit was... Renamon! (Doumon) If anybody except Ryouta tries to enter the portal, the thing rebounds that digimon.

That moment, he can't describe his feeling... That moment, anger coursed right through him as he finally found the culprit of all of this. They were careless... this vixen is stronger than she thought. Coredramon, unflinching, still bombarded the rest of the rookies. Curses, curses it all!! Ryouta cannot believe how naive he has been. He never thought that any of them could go above Champion... and here this b****h just did! Ryouta's grip on his Digivice strengthened, and immediately, it let out the same words like the device of his other two friends:
Chaotic Justice Dragon Line, Online. First requirement unlocked, Memory Not Enough.
"Aniki, Ryudamon-chan is right! GO! I'LL HOLD THEM WHILE AYAKA RECOVERS!"
The dragon opted for more different tactic of any of those champion dared to break through: His debuffing blue flame that would lower down their defense significantly. Ryouta nodded at his partner, running toward the portal and dived right through it.
"...Everyone who dared to disturb Aniki... will perish," Coredramon grimly declared, baring his teeth toward the incoming Champions. Still, what are the option? He just hoped that the human could survive... afterall, it's against an ultimate here...

When Ryouta entered the portal, he would most likely feel a slew of strange things. Firstly, his body would be the one of his eight year-old self. Secondly, he would be clad in whatever winter clothes he used during that time. And thirdly, he would feel that the temperature had dropped a lot. If he scanned his surroundings, he would see that he was now in what it looked to be a taiga-esque forest, and that it was snowing. It wasn't a severe snowstorm, but the snowflakes were falling steadily and relentlessly, so the climate was pretty cold, despite the nearly absent winds that blew in there.
If he advanced in a straight line in whatever direction, he would feel as the snow deepened and deepened (proving it to be quite difficult to walk eventually if he didn't have snow shoes) until he could distinguish at the distance a very small frame in somewhat thick winter clothes slowly moving towards a perpendicular direction from where he was facing right now. If he kept advancing, he would actually see that the person who was advancing towards that direction was a very young girl with short brown hair that probably looked to be six years old or so. Her struggle to advance was pretty obvious, as she wasn't wearing snow shoes and looked to be really tired. If he kept getting closer, he'd feel as if sharp and cold winds just blew from the opposite of the girl's direction. She tried her best to not to trip, but failed at it more often than not, and finally collapsed on the snow after the third serious stumble.
If Ryouta reached her, and hadn't suspected it by now, it'd be pretty obvious that the girl was probably the six year-old version of Mana, yet... there were so many things that just looked wrong in her. While it was obvious that she was semi-conscious, it seemed that the girl had been fatigued by a long time before she actually collapsed, and if Ryouta touched her legs, arms or abdomen, he would feel that the girl was unnaturally thin and most probably, severely malnourished, to the point that the most probably she had carried herself to where she was due to sheer force of will. And maybe the most disturbing thing about it was the knife cut-mark that resembled a slit that her winter coat had in it's back, that roughly extended itself from the middle of her left shoulderblade to the end of her right hip. If Ryouta peeked inside the opening, he would see that the skin on the girl's back surrounding that cut was already frostbitten due to the intense cold and was starting to take a black hue. Yet, despite all these things, it seemed that young Mana still tried to struggle just to get up, even if she failed miserably at so. She even was failing at turning herself around, so at least she would be face-up and probably survive a few more minutes due to not being choked by the snow that now covered both her nose and mouth, but only achieved letting out a pathetic whimper of resignation, as if all that she was doing was just useless.
As soon as (and if) Ryouta tried to help her, he would find out that the source of the frigid wind that was blowing against both them and Mana wasn't quite natural. In fact, it was a womanlike figure dressed on a white kimono, with light blue hair. She was literally blowing the wind in Mana's direction from some meters away, floating silently as she did so. And now that Ryouta could see her, she directed a frown at him. "Do you dare to disturb Yuki-onna?" she asked in a frigid voice, as if she were the winter herself "State your reason in this precise instant. I'm on something important, and I'd rather avoid being disturbed while I do it." she said as she gestured at the girl and kept blowing that frigid wind towards her.
Back on the battle scene, Ayaka could only watch frustated how the fight progressed. Coredramon's G-Shurunen II had ignited the silk that wrapped the other two BlackAgumon's bodies, deleting them on the spot. So now they were three rookies and three champions versus a champion and six rookies, but as of now, there wouldn't be more easy targets. Coredramon immediately breathed blue flames towards one of the offending DarkTyrannomons, and those flames seemed that they burned more than his skin, but they had also enraged the dinosaur and his two comrades, making the three of them breathe high-pressurized fire towards Coredramon. They were aiming to kill, and one of them looked to be way stronger than the rest, but also, way more imprecise.
"Soldiers!" Ryudamon adressed as she leapt towards the dragon that was affected by Coredramon's blue flame "Focus your fire in this one now! This is our chance!" her katana swiftly plunged itself on the dinosaur's injury, causing it to release a howl of pain, but it seemed none of the attacks followed. Thes digimon were struggling to keep themselves alive against the BlackAgumons, and it seemed that the rookies were being outmatched by the viric rookies.... only V-mon could handle them at melee range and be toe-to-toe with them. The support attackers were doing their best to assist the melee digimons, but with Renamon and Ayaka gone, only Monmon and Guilmon were there, and even when they were doing their best, Guilmon's attacks proved to the too imprecise and Monmon's proyectile power was rather... lacking. It kinda reminded it to herself while she played air hockey. Come on, Ryouta-san, you can do it. For miss Mana, please be strong enough to do whatever you have to do. Please".
OOC: Berserk Fire: DarkTyrannomon exhales a a steam of pressurized fire that, does way more damage but it's far less accurate if the user was damaged since the last turn.

The moment he landed, he felt odd... first, he's not supposed to be wearing some sort of winter clothes... and he certainly doesn't wear any kind of snow shoes, too... Then, he noticed... his body has shrunk very much. He felt... so scrawny. Then he noticed... this is the day when it's still so happy for him and the others. Ryouta smiled bitterly at his current form. Goddammit... Still, he haven't forgotten his focus.
"OIIIII, MANAAAA!!" he cried out for her, desperately calling for her. His voice still felt so squeaky and all childish... It made him hate himself in this kind of predicament. He already tossed this him... he already tossed those happy days behind him, those luxurious life... it doesn't suit him anymore. These expensive clothes and stuffs... it sickens him a lot. He prefer to be the present him, the present him who surrounded by friends... and a girlfriend that although not fully his just yet, he wanted to make his...
Ryouta moved forward, trying to fight against the snow... and then... he saw her... he saw that girl who looks very much like Mana. He quickly sprinted to her direction, albeit very clumsily due to not being used to being this short again. Dammit, dammit... he wanted to help her this very instant! Luckily, soon after, he reached her. However, when he touched her... when he touched her, it's clear something is very wrong about her. What the heck is this? It's almost like she's really underweight! He's strong for boy of his age... well, moderately, but... this... is just too much. She's way too light. Then, he saw the nasty cut... that same cut... what has happened? Is this her dark past? But still, his focus this time is her well being. He quickly stripped his warm coat and doubled it on the girl, taking off his muffler and wrapped it on the girl's nose and mouth.
"...Mana... Mana, you'll be fine... I'm here..."
And that moment.... he saw the nastiest youkai he'd think he'll meet in this situation... a Yuki-Onna.
"...My business? Simple. I'm here for the girl! Whatever you want to do to her, you better explain it right this instant!"
Despite the increasing coldness, Ryouta still defiantly glared at the woman. His teeth clattering, his body trembling, but... he won't be defeated so easily!!
Coredramon roared in defiance, flying slightly to evade most of it beside one, which managed to burn the skin of his right leg. The dragon Digimon growled before quickly aiming a descent to the head of the nearest Darktyrannomon with all his weight put on the legs. Looking at his party in huge trouble, Coredramon quickly swished his tail to intercept one of the BlackAgumon, aiming to launch it straight on the injured Darktyrannomon. Despite it's going to make him tire out more quickly, he shot another G-Shurunen II, aimed at the injured dinosaur's head.
Aniki...

The spirit regarded the boy with her icy eyes and a cruel smirk etched on her face; there was a strange kind of curiosity dancing on the cold blue woman's eyes, but it wasn't a good natured one, for it almost felt like how a scientist regarded a lab rat. She landed, her thin legs sinking in the snow until she was at eye level with Ryouta.
"Oh, and you think you'll get away with my plaything that easily? You're sorely mistaken, kid". With each word uttered, a wave of frigid wind blew at the boy, each one progressively colder. She laughed at the boy's determination, remembering how the girl was also determined when she had started her journey through her domains, but now... she had surrendered to fate; her icy embrace would take her away soon enough. But this boy... It'd be fun to break him.
"But I won't say you can't try, of course. After all, you had already entered my domains, and even if you dropped my toy and ran away, I'd have to deal with you once I'm finished with her. And to be frank, she doesn't look like she has that much time left, anyway. You kids are too... frail, even more fragile than human adults, and that girl entered this place on an already poor condition, almost as if she wanted for me to pay her a visit. Her stubbornness and determination were commendable, but at the end... she broke like everybody else".
She began to slowly circle around the boy, examining each one of his features. He looked like the typical hero who always won against the monster and saved the day, but he will learn that today, real life wasn't a fairy tale, and the cost of that lesson will be... the ultimate price. "Why don't we make things a little more interesting? It'd be boring to just see you two freeze to death right now, so I'll offer you a deal. I'll make you both share the same lifeline, meaning that you'll feel all the fatigue, hunger and cold that the girl is feeling right now. If you accept, I'll stop bothering you until you exit this place, for it'd be really amusing to see you struggle with that situation. But if you fail... well, I don't have to say what happens to people who collapse in the middle of a snowy forest; You're going to look pretty good on my halls, frozen together for all eternity. So, what do you say?"
As she extended her hand, the coldest wind they have ever felt blew at the pair, but then the gusts stopped altogether. "Do we have a deal?" Young Mana didn't have a good time during that speech, to say the least. She was trembling almost uncontrollably, drifting from consciousness to unconsciousness. Yet, by the time the end of Yuki-Onna's words, she slowly opened her eyes. They seemed to be tired and resigned, yet the flame of hope still flickered in them as she looked at the eyes of the boy that was holding her.
"Pp-ppleasse" she begged on her most pitiful and broken voice as she latched as hard as she could unto Ryouta's frame, but right now she was so weak that her hand's grip almost felt as if a baby was the one trying to not break apart from him, not a young girl. Her teeth started clattering uncontrollably, but someway, she was speaking almost understandable words "Ww-whoe-ever yyy-oo-ou aaa-aaare, pp-ppleasse hee-eelpp mee-ee".
Her pleading honey eyes had looked glassy and teary all this time, but only now they had started to cry pristine tears on a steady stream. "II-II-I dd-don'tt wan-nntt tt-to d-ddie. Pp-ppleasse...".
Yuki-Onna looked at the girl in Ryouta's arms with a mix of surprise and amusement; so she wasn't completely broken after all, and the desire to live was still there, even if what she was experimenting could maybe be described as worse than death. But she still had her hand extended towards the boy, as if waiting for what he would say. Should he accept, things would really become interesting.
Why!? Why couldn't she move!? Both Ryouta and Dracomon were risking their lives to save Mana, and she, the one who was supposed to be her partner couldn't do anything! She felt so... useless. She could turn the tables so easily if she had a second, only one second. But she couldn't surrender right now, she had to fight! She wouldn't be the witness of this fight without having a say in that, and everyone could be sure of it!
Ayaka began fighting against her boundaries. Yes, they were strong, but as recently, she felt them... weaker. Maybe this was Ryouta's doing? Even if she couldn't move as of now, she felt as if the control of her body slowly returned to her. Just a little more, and maybe she would be free. Hopefully, this dight wouldn't go to an unsavagable point before that. After all, they had to fight an ultimate if Ryouta and Mana ever got over that portal.
Back in the battle, the non-viral forces were taking a beating now. Only the injured DarkTyrannomon had decided to try and continue to hit Coredramon, while the other two swept through the rookie army as if they were a hot knife cutting through butter. Under Ryudamon's orders (and thanks to Coredramon's timely tail smash), two more BlackAgumon were rendered unable to fight anymore, but now V-mon and Guilmon were greatly injured, and FanBeemon's condition became critical. The DarkTyrannomon nearby Coredramon was descended upon by the blue dragon, and while it flinched for some seconds due to the impact's strength, the dinosaur immediately tried to skewer the smaller dragon with a pincer-like move of his claws, most likely just at the same time as they needed air. While he used his G-Shurunen II, even If DarkTyrannomon's attacks hit or missed, Coredramon's G-shurunen II would prove to be too much for the injured DarkTyrannomon. It hit him so hard that he knelt, collapsing in the ground soon afterward. The last one was forming an extremely large and shadowish fireball in his mouth. Taking aim, she launched it at Ryudamon, who looked to be too distracted by helping Coredramon with the other DarkTyrannomon to actually notice the proyectile coming in her direction.

Plaything... that made Ryouta really angered. He felt like he want to run a sword of flame on the youkai's body.He felt like he want to rip her to shreds... what the heck, what the heck!? Mana is not a plaything! Despite the blowing cold winds and the chilly, unbelievably freezing temperature assaulted his bones, Ryouta still glared defiantly at the snow woman youkai.
Then, the Youkai offered something to him, something that he has decided to take no matter what. To share their life force, and to be linked with each other like her condition is copied to his body... Ryouta nodded without any second thought. He already promised... He already vowed that they're in here together. Even without Mana begging him... even if she's a fake, somehow... his heart screamed at him to help her, and so does his body... his whole being agreed to help her.
"...Do it. She doesn't even to have to beg me so that I'll save her... my goal here is to save her, and we promised that we'll go through the bitter end together if needed. That's why, just do it already!"
As he said that, Ryouta turned to the freezing Mana and smiled solemnly.
"...You might doesn't remember me.. maybe it's just a trial for me, but... I've caused you so many suffering... That's why, this time... I'll repay you... I'll save you. You don't have to beg me for it, Mana... Because I love Mana...."
Ryouta knelt down and kissed her forehead.
Coredramon dodged the claw, yet it still scratched his body, drawing blood. The smaller dragon Digimon roared in anger, quickly aiming a karate-like kick to the dinosaur's stomach. However, before he can do anything, he watched one of the enemy shoot out a killing strike to the armored, much smaller dragon. His eyes widened... quickly, the Digimon punched his offender aside and flies at his maximum speed to took the blow as he flicked Ryudamon aside to make her out of the trajectory. However...
"AAAARGH!!"
Getting hit by such attack, when dealing with numbers of enemies proved just a bit too much. Coredramon tossed to to the wall, he could feel air leaving his digital lungs.
"...Huk..."
The blue dragon could feel his body hurting all over, but... he still refuses to give up! He fires another G-Shurunen II, aimed at the DarkTyrannomon's body... Like this, soon he'll fall yet again... He cannot keep this up forever.

"So be it" Yuki-Onna said as she shook Ryouta's hand. She had said as if she were an executioneer muttering a sentence, and most likely because she was. She had felt the girl's current condition, and she had been truthful when she relayed it to kid, yet still he had accepted. She didn't if he was brave or just an idiot, but she didn't care. This was going to be so fun.
After the youkai's freezing hand broke away from Ryouta's, the boy would feel as a week's worth of insomnia and starvation violently entered his body, and the fatigue of having walked through a snowy forest for at least an hour without snow shoes followed soon afterwards, and all those were soon numbed as he both felt the how Mana's coldness added to his own. At least on the bright side, the snowing stopped altogether and the visibility returned to normal. Mana's trembling got slightly better now that the cold wind didn't blow at her, and if Ryouta was strong enough to keep holding her after their conditions were shared. He would see how she blushed after Ryouta's 'I love Mana' and kiss on her forehead, holding him a little more tightly than before. "T-thank y-you" she muttered, blushing on a slightly deeper hue "I-I know it-t's not m-much, b-but if we get ov-ver this, I-I'm gon-nna ask ot-ttou-san and okaa-ssan if t-they give me permis-ssion to h-have a..." she struggled with the word that was about to say, but said it anyway "Boyfriend. But i-if I-I can-n't, y-you can b-be m-my b-est friend until I-I can ch-choose to ha-ave a boyfriend on my o-own".
Those words, obviously, were soaked in a six-year old naivety, but they definitely sounded as if the person that was deep down in that girl's body was truly Mana.
If Ryouta examined his surroundings after recovering from the sudden worsening of his current state, there would be two things that stroke out this place. The first one was a cabin that was in exactly the same direction from where young Mana came from, approximately a kilometer away from them, and on the direction she was heading, at least at five or six kilometers away, a small town could be seen
Yes! Her bonds were indeed weakening. And even now she felt that if she really tried, she could try and intervene on the fight. And better if it was soon, because...
Ryudamon took notice of the dark fireball that was shot at her a second too late. The thing seemed to be powerful enough to delete her on the spot, and as she waited for her executioneer to come and claim her, her eyes widened as Coredramon shielded her from the blast that sent him smashing backwards to wall. As of now, the two adult dinosaurs were separated, thanks to Coredramon's kick sending on of them backwards. The two of them now face an inmobile Coredramon and a cruel grin painted on their faces. The two of them accumulated fire on their mouths before one of them released the same dark fireball at Coredramon, while the other used his Berserk Flames on him. their combined strength was so much that they pushed back the G-Shurunen II back to Coredramon. It seemed that the three attacks would impact him until... a slamming sound was heard and a solid block of coral sprang, blocking the three attacks before they could damage Coredramon.
"You cannot surrender!" the salamander shouted "Ryouta's weakening this barrier, I can feel it!"
OOC: Fel Fireball: DarkTyrannomon accumulates dark fire in his mouth and releases it towards a foe. If it hits, the target is immobilized for one post. This same attack was used on the previous post EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD 4 ends in Ryouta's next post.

That was the worst, like all those bitter experience having to live in such small apartment complex assaulted him again. He remembered how he have to starve for week because of sharing his food with his siblings, and sometime, he even have to eat plain rice. The bitter taste of just eating rice made him vomit so many times, yet in front of them... he put a brave face. He felt like he want to sleep right here and then, but... the pain that assaulted soon after nearly made him cry. Did... did that scar on Mana's also transferred to him? Insomnia, coldness, all of those... This girl's really strong... They felt like a mirror in some aspects. Still, to his small body, this kind of stuff is nearly impossible. He almost fell to the ground if not for he reminds himself that he's holding his most precious person and steeled himself out of sheer will.
"...Heh, it's OK... even if I can't be your boyfriend, I'll still always help you..." his voice barely above whisper. He felt so weak... But regardless, he wanted to save her... He wanted to make her goes through this. The black haired boy gave the smaller girl a firm hug, just like usual.
"...Mana, tell me... What's inside that cabin and what's waiting for you in that city?"
"AAAARGH!!" Ayaka's words immediately snapped Coredramon back to realty. Despite unable to move correctly, his horns glows as he build up more G-Shurunen II. The blue dragon flapped his wings and ascends to the ceiling before shooting two consecutive blasts on the offending DarkTyrannomon.
"PULL BACK ALL OF YOU!!" the dragon roared to the rookies. "TREAT THE INJURED BEFORE YOU JOIN BACK THE FIGHT! I'LL HOLD THEM OFF!"
This is nothing... this is nothing... Ryouta must've gone through much worse thing than just this. Coredramon defiantly roared at his opponent before descending with a roll-like move, aiming his tail on the Dark Tyrannomon's back of the head area. Ryouta said that it'll cause really fatal disorientation at human, and he hoped the same would work on Digimons.

ADDITIONAL ISSUES (because we aren't here just for the bits)
Young Mana yelped when she felt how Ryouta was about to collapse, but felt relieved when he stood, and even smiled a little at the boy's calming words, well, at least until the question came. At the mere mention of the place where she had came from, she started to cry uncontrollably, and looked at Ryouta with truly supplicant eyes. "P-please, a-anything but the cabin!" The boy could almost feel the sheer terror that crept unto Mana's body at the mere mention of that place "Th-that place was my... prison. I-I barely escaped there some hours ago! P-please, don't bring me back there!" she was on an almost hysteric state by merely recalling that place, and it'd take some minutes for her to calm down, but when she finally did...
"And I don't know that town... It doesn't look like Ōno at all, but I guessed that anything was better than this forest o-o-oor" she stopped right there. She wasn't planning on recounting what had happened in that place any time soon. Hopefully her would-be savior would understand that. She felt so bad for being a burden and a secretive burden on top of that, but even thinking about that was just... unbearable. And that way, Ryouta had two options for the one which would be their refuge. One was the cabin that was relatively close to them but affected the young girl so deeply, or the unknown town that far off, and that the girl didn't even know. The choice was ultimately his, and time relentlessly advanced for each second he lost thinking.
Damn it all! The bonds had regained strength, and now she could barely move yet again, but at least she had helped Coredramon out with that barrier.
Ryudamon listened to Coredramon's advice, and after they dispatched the last of the BlackAgumons, the mostly unharmed rookies began dragging the injured ones to the backline as Coredramon held off the two conscious Tyrannomons back. His aerial G-Shurunen II was evaded by its target on a nimble movement as he and other Tyrannomon seemed to retreat at the backline. That same Tyrannomon roared in defiance as Coredramon closed on him to do tail smash him in the back of his neck, but on a extremely and blidingly fast movement, the collapsed DarkTyrannomon got up and recieved the hit instead of the previous target of the attack.
After smashing through him, he collapsed again, but this time, the began to let out steam, as his colors started to become brighter and his body grew on a grotesque manner, deforming itself until it no longer resembled its previous form. And, as if taking that cue, the two other remaining DarkTyrannomon started to shine behind it. Were the two of them... evolving? They were vulnerable now, but... "Coredramon-san, back off!" Ryudamon called with urgency "That DarkTyrannomon is about to explode, I've seen it before! Come back here, fast!"

"Mana, Mana, calm down... I'm not the type that will force you to do whatever you don't want to do unless it's really urgent, alright? It's OK, it's OK... Let's just press ahead, then..." he told her
Yeah, more than likely, he have to press ahead. That cabin seem to be filled with something that is too traumatic to the girl. Perhaps this is a memory world... and in that case, he wouldn't approach it. It'll only worsen her. To force this girl to face her trauma straight on like that. He quickly piggybacked her and walk ahead. The girl is way too weak currently... and it'll be suicide to ask her to walk. The boy walked to the city. The wind has dissipated, and it's a bit less colder, but... it doesn't negate the fact that he's hungry, sleepy, tired and most of all, wounded from all the pain the girl is feeling. Then again, even if they return, if something there is that scary, then most than likely they'll only waste time. He walked to the direction of the city, as fast as his young limbs can do.
"...So, why don't we start over again? I haven't introduced myself, right? I'm Noguchi Ryouta... currently, I'm eight years old! I'm from Nerima, Hikarigaoka specifically... What about you? You haven't told me much about yourself!" he told her, trying to shoo off the sleepiness by talking.
If it's become a two MetalTyrannomon against one champion and several rookies, it'll be really ugly. However, dying a martyr death is not an option when there's still something to protect! Coredramon flies backward, trying to gain distance and regroup with the rookies, without even bothering to shoot a projectile at those two evil beings. This is bad, really bad...

The girl, now visibly calmed after Ryouta said that they would go to the cabin, shifted her position as the boy decided to carry her piggyback style. She hugged the his neck as hard as she could, as if trying to not break his balance while he walked through the snow. She began to feel sleepy, but the first survival lesson was to never fall asleep in a snowing, so she began talking back to the boy in hopes of remain awake.
"Nice to meet you, Ryo-kun" she greeted, not even asking of using the nickname was right or not. Her tone was a neuter one, and she was speaking so softly that if she weren't whispering on the boy's ear, probably he wouldn't hear her "You already know my name, but it's Tsumura Mana. I live in Ōno, in the Fukui prefecture and I'm six. I began elementary school not too long ago. My family is okaa-san, ottou-san, onii-san and me... or at least I it was that way the last time I saw them. What about you, Ryo-kun? I have to know anata's family, after all".
Until they were three fourths up on their way to the city, the travel was an uneventful one.
Ayaka felt how the bonds were weakening again, perhaps it had to do with something that Ryouta or Mana were making on the other world? Hopefully they'd continue with that, and maybe she would break free soon enough. She wasn't in range for any of her attacks, so as for now, her skin began changing into a greenish hue, as she began secreting a toxic agent from her skin.
The explosion was a violent one, but coredramon escaped the blast radius on a timely manner, so he'd most likely only be knocked back by the shockwave. Just before the blast radius, the final steps of the evolution could be seen. The DarkTyrannomons weren't actually evolving, but... jogressing. On midway their places, a huge mechanical terror stood in front of the group of digimons, roaring with its cibernetic voice as its sensory modules locked unto them.
It was blood curling sound, probably heralding the massacre that was about to come.

"Ryo-kun, huh? Well, that's a nice nickname!" he grinned. "I see, so you're from Ono, huh... I wonder if it's nice, living near the sea?" he asked. "As for me, I lives with my Otou-san, a patissier... he often make a lot of cool, beautiful desserts and cakes! My Okaa-san is an elementary school teacher! She might be a bit strict and sometimes a little easily get angered kind of mom, but she's still the best. I got a little brother and twin little sisters, seven years and four years old respectively... So I'm the eldest, yup!"
Ryouta tries to fight for his survival, walking faster to the city. He felt like he got a gist of it... basically, is she telling him that she's kidnapped? And somehow transported far away at it, too!? He can't believe it if it's true... this girl... this girl have such a scary past afterall? That means, that Yuki-Onna words means that although she won't deal up with them, there's the kidnapper on run? He gritted his teeth. This is bad, really bad. They need to move faster... he tried to look something for weapon he can use to defend himself with. Hopefully, the memory of the karate training in all this one month will prove good enough.
Just the matter is... what a tired, hungry, sleepy eight years old can do? How much?
The blast was terrible. Coredramon knocked aside to the wall once again. His body hurting even more than before. To his horror, that wasn't two MetalTyrannomon, but the stronger variation, MetalTyrannomon X. Well, this spells for something even he cannot handle.
"RUN, YOU GUYS!!" Coredramon ordered the others. "THIS IS BEYOND YOUR LEVEL, GO SAVE YOURSELVES!"
Still, even he was trembling with fear... what would Ryouta do in this kind of situation? Tears of frustration rolled down to his cheek... This isn't funny anymore... if only... if only he can reach higher stage, then...

"I can't complain about my hometown. I really love green spaces and" she blushed as she spoke her next words "Your family must be really awesome, Ryo-kun. I'd really like it if okaa-san were to be my teacher" she said refering to Ryouta's mother "I'm sure I could learn a lot of stuff from her. Both of my parents are college teachers, so I'm too dumb yet to understand what they teach, but Yuu-niisan told me that their subjects were about something called 'biology' and that they were about plants and animals, so it must be really neat. Yuu's my older brother, by the way, and he's a lot smarter than me, even if he doesn't realize that. He's roughly the same age as you, and while I was really young, he was a meanie to me, but luckily we got over that together. I love him so much, even if he's a dork sometimes. The last time I saw him, we was going to take a school trip to a really cool zoo in a month or so, and I was so worried because I'd miss him so much after he went away. Wonder if he already took that travel, and if he had fun or not" she started to shed some tears at the memory "He promised me that he would bring me lots of photos of the giant salamanders they have in there, especially the albino one that was born recently. Do you think he got them? I'd be so happy if he remembered that, because sometimes, he forgets about things by accident, but he wouldn't ever forget me. Right, anata?"
While they were nearing the city, the could see a man at the distance. An unbelievably ripped adult in a teacher's suit a hundred meters or so away from them eyed them suspiciously, but after he gave a good luck at Mana, he started to run towards them at full speed, and oh boy, he was fast. The girl noted him after, and just as she did so, a dying leaf could be described as perfectly still compared to young Mana. Tears immediately descended from her cheeks as she gasped in the most distilled and pure terror. "Nnno-o!" she frantically said between sobs "Hee-e found us, Ryo-kun! Yy-ou ha-ave to ru-un away o-or he-e'll get you too! I-I'll be fine, I swear!".
If Ryouta didn't drop Mana and ran on the very spot, the man would soon close on them, but, as he jumped to tackle the pair and knock them down. A shooting sound was heard, converting the tackle's force into just dead weight. The spray of blood would either paint the pair's faces or backs in red just before the now-dead man fell down the pair, knocking them down. But as they fell into the snow, it felt almost as if it was water. They began sinking into snow as the illusionary world dissipated, revealing just an enormous blueness everywhere around them. If Ryouta focused on any particular section of the place, he would see how the true story about the events unfolded on a rather rapidly manner. Mana's first day at elementary school, a new teacher that was insanely ripped, her trying to be nice to him while the rest of the class called him 'freak' at his back. Some time later, An seemingly unconsecuential meeting and a piece of cloth soaked in Choloroform.
The images then fast-forwarded even more rapidly; the back of a SUV, ropes restraining and hurting her wrists and ankles. Fear as she entered the insides of a cabin on God knew where. Talking, lots of non understandable talking. Next to no food and water and having to do her necessities... in front of him, even though he couldn't see her clearly due to her being crouched. Fatigue, starvation and... frustration, but finally some hope when he went away for the first. She escaped fast enough, but was too fatigued and starved to get away fast until... Nii-san, here?
The rest of the history played in blurs, as Mana drifted in and out of consciousness, but one detail was really clear. The man finding them again, and the sheer terror even as he closed on them again until... blood sprayed on their faces as she passed out, this time only to awake at her bed, almost if all of this was only a bad dream.
"Liollmon-kun, run away with the others!" Ryudamon immediately ordered the lion "Coredramon and me will hold this bast*rd off as long as we can, so seize the time and get to safety". "But Ryudamon-chan, he's a perfect!" the young lion retorted "He can delete you without even thinking about a-and" "Go! NOW!" she barked "You're the new responsible of the group! YOU'RE DISMISSED!" Liollmon looked sadly at the dragon, before starting to regroup the digimons as they left this place. "I'm sorry for playing dumb, Ryudamon-chan, but... I can't requit your feelings. It's not you, it's... me. I'm not into girls". Just as the last sentence was muttered, two missiles flew from MetalTyrannomon X's hands, pointing the location where the three digmons where, but yet again, a coral wall sprang just in time to block them. Both Ryouta and Mana had landed just behind the salamander to hear the last bit of Liollmon's speech, feeling the sudden surge of energy a both recovering their usual bodies and getting rid of the starvation and fatigue. Yet still, he was carrying her in piggyback style.
Ryudamon looked perplexed for a second, before finally smiling at the lion and at the newly arrived couple. Her body shone brightly, growing bigger and bigger, until it transformed itself into a serpentine, quadruped form. She had evolved into Ginryumon. "It's fine, Liollmon-kun. You should have said that earlier. Now go, because when I'm finished with this guy, I'm totally beating you up to a pulp". Even if Ginryumon had said it in a joking manner, the small lion began rounding the other mons on a really quick manner, as he was more afraid of Ginryumon than from the MetalTyrannomon X.
"Miss Mana! Ryouta-san!" greeted Ayaka, now fully out of her prison "You did it! I can't thank you enough, Ryouta-san. You have saved my partner's life. I will be forever on your debt". "Ahem, Ayaka" said Mana still in her spot on Ryouta's back "We should be getting ready to fight this guy and, uh..." now she was blushing intensely "I'm sorry for calling you anata, Ryo-kun, I can't believe that my younger self was that cheeky and... sorry for forgetting about you. Now, could you please put me down? I feel alright now". After getting down, she looked at the MetalTyrannomon X with determination, as Ayaka devolved into her Kodamon form. Her digivice's body began changing colors into a dark shade of pink and a bright green light emanated from it as two words appeared in its screen: <MATRIX EVOLUTION>.
Ayaka evolved into Acerimon, and now was preparing to face their enemy. She concentrated her digicore's powers into Coredramon, hopefully healing him for enough to lessen how the pain hindered his actions, and setting her current season to spring. After that, both she and Ginryumon looked defiantly at MetalTyrannomon X. The fight was on. "Okay, let's beat this baddie!".
