The duo were venturing across Eastern Timberlands yet again. Mana didn't knew why, but this was her most favorite part of the Digital World; well, maybe it had to do with the endless and lush, yet not so warm forest expanse in which Ayaka was so comfortable. It just brought joy to her heart seeing the little forest sprite basking on the sun's rays. These days have been hectic in Shibuya, as exams and the inter school volleyball tournament approached, and as so, they have not been capable of traveling to the Digital World too much, and that, coupled with the cloudy weather that Shibuya had made Ayaka somewhat stressed and frustrated, so now she felt as if making up to her with this little trip, and as of now, it seemed to be quite effective.
They were travelling by feet, as Nephilamon was unable to photosyntesize; well, at least now. They traveled all the way to Server Woods on Trailmon, and now they were making their route to the Village of the Beginnings from a way that they hadn't used before, just to be out of the routine just a little, but who would say that the pair were in for a surprise. As they (thought) were closing on the Village, they saw a large camground at the distance, shrouded by a small palisade. It seemed to be quite militaristic, and it looked like a new adventure! At first, she thought about messaging Karin, but felt that she was maybe being overbearing with her best friend; her next option was Koharu, but she didn't know if she had visited the Digital World in first place; the third one was... Ryouta? It didn't sound bad, to be honest, yet the last time she had seen him, it had been an... awkward situation, to say the least.
She had played strong just because the situation called for it, but truth to be told, she still had these feelings for him that weren't quite of friendship. Yet, maybe she could delve a little into them this time, and maybe get over them. Or she could mail Yuuki instead, but she felt that she wasn't as close to him as to bother him with random stuff, specially given his somewhat serious demeanor. Ryouta would be up to some fun at least... or for some fighting, as this place didn't seem to be quite friendly, after all. Deciding for the black-haired boy, she brought out her D-Terminal and began writing the mail.

Subject: I just discovered a really neat place!
Hi Ryouta-san! (*´∇｀)ﾉ. Long time no see! I just stumbled into this place and I found what looks like a military camp, isn't it neat? ◕◡◕ We can totally hang in there, and maybe we can discover a lotta of interesting stuff ＼(＾∀＾）メ. I'm sending my coordinates to your D-Terminal with this e-mail, so you can find me if you're interested. Anyway, that's all! Tell me if you're interested and byeeeeeeeeeeee!
P.S.: If you come, tell Dracomon that he won't get away 'til he accepts at least one hug.

P.S.: Dracomon said he gave up and will submit, but please don't hug him too hard.
And so, about five minutes after he typed that, the black haired boy with spiky hairstyle jumped down from the Trailmon. Since the last time the girl saw him, he looks a bit more... defined, at least physical wise. This time, he doesn't seem to wear his usual parka jacket, but simply going black tanktop with dragon print on it, slightly torn jeans and his favorite black shoes. One would wonder if Tatsuya's attitude is rubbing on him or he's just a showoff deep inside his heart. Following him is Dracomon, who looks still half asleep, probably from lack of proper rest.
The fifteen years old followed the signal of the D-3 and D-Terminal to where the younger girl is. He haven't met her for quite a while now... probably it's been a month or so? He doesn't remember, but basically, he just hoped she doesn't change. It'll be too awkward, him changing and at the same time, she changed, too. Karin told him she has found a boyfriend, and honestly, he felt glad. He doesn't feel like he deserved her because he's the densest guy around...
Dammit, now he felt bad again. Still, he saw the girl from far away and waved at her, typical to his style.
"Yoo, Mana-chan!"
Dracomon waved, too, but still too sleepy to wave correctly, and only do it halfassedly.

Mana saw the pair walking towards them, and smiled and waved happily at them, even blushing a little bit at Ryouta's clothes and newly defined muscles. He looked... manly, and Mana had this weird attraction for those types, and viewing them after seeing Charles' mostly undefined body made her, well, compare them for a second. She pushed those thoughts aside really fast thought, as Charles was now his boyfriend, and Ryouta was just a good friend, right? Or maybe... nah, it was pointless to have those wishful thoughts.
"Hi, Ryouta-san, Dracomon-san!" she said as Ayaka bowed to them and she went in for hugging the older boy "I really missed you two! What have you been up to? I've seen you since... well, that, and life has been so hectic as of late that I barely have time to do so much as chat to Karin-nee and the other guys every now and then, but anyways! That's past! I'm so happy to see you" she made a pause, allowing Ryouta to answer her questions before he continued.
"So this is the place that I talked you about!" she told him as she gestured to the palisade that was a good five hundred or so meters away "Looks like some kind of millitary camp, don't you think? Do you think its inhabitants will be friendly to us?".
Both Mana and Ayaka began transversing the green blades of grass as they went to that direction, but oblivious to the both of them, as they began to drew closer, a faint scent of smoke could be smelled. It'd be really hard to perceive for normal humans or digimons without an acute sense of smell, but maybe...

Mana looked at him in... rather strange way. Is it because he forgot his parka? But he thought it no longer suited him. He just wanted to show off once for a while, especially now that it's already a month since he practiced Karate. It was fun, really fun and he doesn't mind to learn more about it. Not to mention, the weights inside his room upgraded more as it's getting too light for him to train with. However, at this moment, Karin probably would say that he's being dense again... Wait, she's blushing? Oh... oh... He somehow both flattered and embarrassed that she seem found him rather attractive.
Yet at the same time, she came to him to hug him, making the black haired boy chuckle and decides to mess with her hair in good natured way. "What's up with you two, too? Alright, I hope-- oh wait, you just told that to me, how silly I am. Well, there's nothing much other than me training harder, see?" he flexed an arm cheerfully. True enough, he's quite well toned back a month ago, but this time, he has taken it to another level. "Don't worry, I haven't got into any kind of fight yet, but I'm also kind of focusing in real world, so Dracomon is kind of left behind... I heard from Karin you seem reached a totally higher level, is that true? You sure a quick grower, you! I can't believe I just met you two less than two months ago, heh!"
As he leaned closer to take a look at the scenery, Mana's right. It's seem to be some sort of military training ground.
"Mmm, that's good enough... regardless if they're friendly or not, we'll just have to see, Mana-chan."
And so, they traversed. As Dracomon himself doesn't really have a good sense of smell like Dorumon, he's stayed oblivious to it... However, it can't be helped. He's sleepy. The small dragon Digimon walked in half-out-of-it state.

Mana smiled at Ryouta as he ruffled with her hair, even if he was way more muscular, he was still the same dense dork. Not that she could complain about that, that was some of the things he had that really made him alluring... WHAT? Mana shook her head instantly at the thought. Ryouta was her best male friend, and nothing more! She even felt a little guilty for having these feels when she already had a boyfriend that she loved, because she loved Charles, right? Despite that, she smiled at him widely when he told her that he hadn't gotten into fights since they had last met each other
"Well, your body doesn't look half bad, and yes!" she answered at the boys question with a hint of pride on her voice "Some time ago we found Ayaka's second Digimental and now she can turn into a giant badass salamander! So if you ever need water transportation, I'm just the girl for the job! She can host up to four people or people-sized digimons on special membranes in her body, you should totally see them someday! They're even pressurized and oxygenated, so we could even dive to pretty deep places. And also, she evolved to perfect for her first time not too long ago; on that one, she becomes a Miko! With the bow and everything! She can do so much neat stuff at that stage compared to her previous one as Cherrimmon that it just blows you away! She still depends on someone else to do any significant amount of damage, but that's just a small drawback compared to all the power she has on that stage".
Ayaka blushed a little at the excessive amount of flattery she was receiving from her partner, but keep alert in case that the place that they were nearing were hostile.
"Oh, and by the way, why Dracomon-san seems to be so tired?" she asked with geniune concern "Is he alright? If he's injured, Ayaka can heal him in no time, you just gotta ask, you know".
After Ryouta's reponse, Mana couldn't help but to ask.
"Well, changing topics, how are things going between Koharu-san and you? When I first met her, she said that she'd totally hit on you, but I haven't heard of that ever since, not even from Karin-nee. It didn't work out or... you rejected her? Or she didn't ask you at all?".
She didn't know why she had made the question, as that wasn't her bussiness at all, but she felt a strange kind of curiosity towards the boy's current relationship status; after all, if he had rejected Koharu, she would totally start thinking that he really didn't swing on that direction, if it didn't work out, well... friends not always were meant to be together, but if Koharu hadn't asked, maybe her feelings towards Ryouta weren't as true as she had believed, and that made him... free? Darn. She shook her head again; why couldn't she just let him go? She had supposedly gotten over him! Even if his now ripped body seemed to be out of a bodybuilding competition and his smile made him really handsome... OKAY, STOP MANA, you're surely blushing like crazy (she was) and what will Ryouta think of me? She had been less than two months with Charles, and she was actually struggling to remain faithful to him. Way to go, Mana. You're the best girlfriend someone could ask for.
As the girl became somewhat sad at her current predicament, the group closed on the training grounds, and now the smell of smoke was somewhat clear on the air.
"Are you smelling the same that me?" Ayaka inquired "This cannot be good...".

Somehow, when he ruffled her hair like how he would do to his little sister, his hand stopped. The girl already got a boyfriend... Karin told her that so many times, and tell him to be at least understand where the girl is standing right now. She reminded that old feeling mayhaps cannot die that fast. Karin told him one thing... his friendly attitude often made girls think they have a chance with him... well, it's true, they do, but if he himself doesn't think anything significant about them? Well, then he can't do anything. He only can reject and feel really shitty at it. Somehow, he sort of half zoned out when she start to flaunt about Ayaka's growing points. Although he did heard her, he only can absorb 75% of the information.
Only when she asked him about Dracomon that he snapped out of it. "Oh? Uh... well, I told him to get some sleep while I practice karate with a sempai from my dojo... I want to get used to Karate fast, you know? But he rejected, and so he kept watching me until late at night, and you know him, he's really like a baby, need quite a lot of sleeping time."
And right when he said that, Dracomon is practically sleepwalking. Ryouta chuckled and hold his partner's hand to help him walk.
However, suddenly Mana asked about Koharu. He raised an eyebrow at her questioningly, but quickly remembered that Koharu and her ever met... and if she means by confession is that, then...
"Well... are you worried about her? Thanks a lot for that... she's a lonely girl, alright... Let's say, it's not like I rejected her... but it's not like we dated either... It's a bit complicated, but it's like this, Mana... I'm a guy who want a girl who will stay beside me, the really loyal type, alright? I want a real love, although probably you might say I'm asking too much, but... well, let's say, I want my relationship to be serious, not just some tryouts. With Koharu... you might slap me because maybe you think I'm dense, but I perfectly know her feeling. Rather than loving me... well, she does love me, but not that way... she loves me as a brother, someone who would look at her while the other ignored her. That's not the love I'm looking for, Mana. And plus, she just said 'I don't want you to ignore me', and so I promised I'll never do. She never said anything about date nor really ask me to be her boyfriend. I guess it's safe to say that we're not going that way unless she changed. I don't quite love her more than just a sister either. We're just... more than friends, but not lovers."
At the smell of the smoke, finally Dracomon opened his eyes.
"...That smells really bad... why didn't I notice it before?"

At Ryouta's answer, Mana blushed on a bright shade of crimson. She didn't expect that answer, that's for sure. So, Koharu really liked him than more than a friend, but less than her other half? Why did she felt this strange thing at those words. Was it... hope? Why he was thinking about Ryouta that much, anyway? It's not like as if he had changed. Or had he? She didn't know why, but he looked a bit more mature than before, and that was without taking into account his totally attractive musc... Dang, she was repeating herself.
"Yeah, I was kinda worried about Koharu-san... and about you too, you know. Also, Ryouta-san, you haven't said anything about my appearance. What do you think of it? Charles-kun only says that... I look perfect either way, but I'd really appreciate some imput!".
The mention of her boyfriend only served to sadden her a bit more. What was with their relationship, honestly? She liked Charles, and she had even claimed to love him, but... he reminded her of her parents; the ones who had forced her to be their "perfect" daughter, and every time she heard the word, she felt bad, because two main reasons. Firstly, she knew that she wasn't perfect. Heck, she wasn't even close to it, but she really wanted to be a better girlfriend, and if the only words she recieved as feedback were "you're doing enough already" or "I can't realize criticize you" she felt as if she were getting behind, as she if were stuck and couldn't advance because only if you know your defects you can strive to get better, right? And secondly, because that was the same attitude that her parents had with her; the same parents that had driven Yuu away with their favoritism. She knew that Charles wouldn't do that (he wouldn't, right?), but the mere remembrance of that fact made her sad. And because of that, being treated with that pampering attitude made her blood boil with a mix of anger and frustration. She had already tried to nudge him into the right direction but, what was the point of changing a person's core? After all, she was trying to make Charles behave in a way that didn't fit to him, and she wouldn't like that done to herself so... what to do?
Getting back to topic, while Mana's body didn't look as toned as Ryouta's, her extended volleyball practicing period was having its results; her body looked slim and petite compared to the boy's, but it was pretty clear that her physical condition had improved a good deal. Yet, the most striking feature she now sported was that now she had begin growing and taking care of her hair, and the aforementioned now was just long enough to caress the upper section of her shoulderblades, and it was way more silky than before. It even smelled faintly as... melon?
As the foursome got near the place, and both Dracomon and Ayaka expressed their concerns about the smoky smell that began filling the nostrils of the group, Mana snapped back into reality and began to grow alert. If anybody saw towards to top of the compound, some columns of blackish smoke could be seen rising from there
"Okay, let's be really, really careful" she whispered into Ryouta's ear on a very quiet tone tone as she crouched a little and began advancing.
Ayaka mimicked her partner's actions, and the duo went ahead. The palisade was high enough to obstruct vision to the compound's interior, so they had to get really close it it, and as they did so, the smoke's scent grew stronger and stronger. Once the four of them were in front of the palisade's wall, some slits could be easily made out in there. When the pair looked through one of them, they saw a little swarm of metallic-looking beetles that seemed to be looting the nearby tents as some of them were burning to ash.
"Wha-what do we do, Ryouta-san?" Mana said as she made him a space to look in by himself "D-do we just enter or what?".
The Girl seemed to be somewhat nervous at the situation, as they seemed to be outnumbered quite handily. There were easily ten beetles in the camp currently, and at least a twenty tents, with five of them burning as of now.

"Huh? Me too? Well, you don't have to worry much. I'm much tougher than I look!"
Could it be the girl still have a crush on him? He's not sure... he just hope he won't be a hindrance for her relationship with her boyfriend. If he does, then... well, he'll be feeling so shitty. He looked at Mana, who asked him what she thought about her. Well, now he really gave her his undivided attention, looking at her from the top to the bottom. She got... slightly toned... Well he doesn't really like muscular girls, because he thought it's his part to be muscular. He chuckled slightly at the thought before looking at her more...
Well, that hair... he's really diggiing it... wait, what? What kind of thoughts is he having with other person's girlfriend?! He quickly shook his head, but it's all too late when he caught scent of her shampoo. It's his favorite scent. Kami-d***-it-all. His mouth already running before he can stop it.
"...Uh... cannot say your body type is my type, but I'm totally liking your hair... and... your shampoo, it's my favorite scent... Uh... grow your hair longer and wear something like hair accessory, maybe it'll add your charming point... Hairpins are nice, too."
This is wrong... really wrong, Ryouta! Why the heck are you commenting something so casually about other person's girlfriend!? Totally not your type!? What the heck with that!? It's as if you're hitting her, dammit! he mentally curses himself. He turned his face to the other direction. Although he's showing pained expression, perhaps for someone else who cannot look at that, it sounds like he's being shy. Why he want to hug this girl? Why he felt like he want to hug her closer, letting her skin touches his rougher one? Why he feel like he want to give her a firm squeeze and sniff her fragrant hair? Yuu's so going to kill him.
"...Sorry, that might be way too creepy even for my standard. I'm being so dense again, sorry."
Back to the current concern in mind...
"...I don' know... Mana, does Ayaka have any sort of speed boosting skill? If she does, then... Ayaka, if you does, can you buff me with your speed boosting skill? I'll check the situation, and if they're enemies, then... We'll go in for the fight. As for retaliating attack..."
Ryouta turned to his partner, who already assumed his Coredramon form. He smirked and gave him a thumb up, something that Coredramon returned with a smile.
"...Of course, if you disagree or if you have better idea, you can just tell me..."

Mana smiled widely at Ryouta. Finally she had found someone who actually criticized her with honesty! While she didn't get too harsh the part where he didn't like her body (opinions were opinions, after all, and Ryouta looked like a guy who liked girly girls), she was pretty happy about the compliments of her hair.
"Ah-Uh, well, that's the reason why I'm growing my hair to be honest. See, when Yuu-niisan went to study abroad, he left these things that resemble feather ribbons and are hooked in the back of the ears. I should show them to you sometime, they're so pretty! Anyway, I'm missing the point, the thing is that the only way I could use them without looking ridiculous would be by growing my hair, and the note that nii-san left alongside them saying" she cleared her throat before doing a really poor imitation of Yuu's new cellphone voice "'You're wasting away one of the prettiest hairs I've seen in my life with all those hoodies, Mana-chan. Could you do nii-san a favor and care for it just a little bit? I'd love to see the result when I come back'. And that just nailed it, so I decided to try for Yuu-niisan, at least to give him a surprise when he comes back from the States. Getting used to having it progressively larger is somewhat difficult, but as of now, I'm pretty happy with the result! I don't know how much longer I'll grow it, though. Maybe midback? or even all the way to the waist! What do you think? Oh, and melon is totally my favorite scent too! Some people thought it was actually weird, because, you know, melon is a rather exotic scent, but I like it very much!" she then dismissed his confession of being creepy with a wave of her hand, not getting how the boy really felt "Oh, don't worry about it, Ryouta-san! See, I can barely get someone say something about my appearance excluiding Karin-nee because Charles-kun... well, thinks that I'm perfect even if I'm dripping wet with oil and that makes me look like the Ringu girl. It's frustrating sometimes".
Back on the palisade...
"What you are saying is quite dangerous, you're exposing yourself at those guys' fire, Ryouta-san!" she tried to control her tone, as the beetles could hear them and that wouldn't be good "But if you want to do it, I'll help you as much as I can... just be safe, okay?" she extended her hand for a split second, as if wanting to hold Ryouta's, but retracted it as soon as she realized the mistake she was about to made. Because it was a mistake, right? And yet again, she was blushing intensely "S-sorry, I didn't mean to, I swear!".
She brought up her D-Terminal, and with a relatively silent 'Digimental UP!' Ayaka evolved into Nephilamon. She then expelled a white cloud of spores, that once inhaled by the group would boost their speed a good deal, and then both the girl and the digimon prepared to intervene, should things go awry.
"We'll cover your back, don't worry!".
If Ryouta entered the camp, he would come with the surprise that the beetles would leave as soon as he arrived, leaving nothing but pillaged and looted tens, with some of them on fire. By the appearance of that, it seemed that they weren't the perpetrators, but just a swarm of digimon that got lucky at finding a non-pillaged but recently sacked place.

So Yuu's abroad... Wait, wait, why the heck am I thinking of it like it's some chance for me to get close to her? Goddammit, why I felt like my world suddenly turned over so suddenly!? She told me to not to change, but why the heck I changed? Argh, this is so frustrating! Well, it's true that she'll looks cute with her hair all the way to the waist... it'll be really neat and... well, I won't mind stroki--- ARGH, THERE I GO AGAIN!
"...All the way to the waist, I say..."
...Me and my loud mouth. Honestly, someone slap me out of this before I do something I really regret to her! And apparently... her boyfriend is way too doting type? I'm not sure if I can be any better than t--- Ryouta, Ryouta, stop. You're getting distracted, and it's not good at all. You're about to commit NTR here, Ryouta... stop before it's too late.
Right, back at the structure...
"...Well, it's not like we have any other choice, right? Sending Coredramon might only agitate them more than good."
She seem extended her hand for a split second, but going against it. Still oblivious to what she's thinking, he reached for it instead and give it a firm yet assuring squeeze, like telling her he'll be fine. His rough skin brushing against the softer one. "It's OK, I'll be careful, I promise."
And with the boost from the spider Digimon and the aid of his partner from the sky, Ryouta sprinted in, never feeling this fast before. However, when he entered...
...Why the heck they're leaving? They're not the one responsible afterall?
"...Mana, clear," he signaled.

EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD [2/4]
Mana smiled, pretty satisfied with Ryouta's words. Even if they were mostly compliments, at least he had actually given her actual imput about what he liked and what not, and specially, because he had said that she wasn't perfect, like by pointing out that he didn't like her body, or by saying that she should let her hair grow all the up down her waist. But why she was insisting in comparing him with her boyfriend, though? One of them was his insanely ripped best friend that had a smile so warm that could melt glacier and made her feel special whenever he looked at her like tha— OKAY STOP, while the other was her caring boyfriend that she was sure would love her no matter what. But felt that love not as boyfriend/girlfriend love, she felt it exactly the way that Ryouta had described how Koharu felt about him... 'I don't want you to ignore me'. That feeling, while beautiful, wasn't enough for Mana. She felt horrible for being selective about the way she wanted to be loved, but that was just who she is.
She yelped while Ryouta grabbed her hand back, biting back her apology, and smiled at him while her face looked like just like a ripe tomato and focused her honey eyes on him with intent. He looked so awesome as he ran towards th campament that she couldn't but sigh at dreamily at him. Why he had to see her as just her little sister? Why couldn't see her just as a little more? She longed to be holded by those strong arms and feel the safety of his embrace, to be smiled at by that warm and carefree grin as if she were that special someone in his life and... she felt like the worst person in the world for even thinking that. She had thought she could deal with seeing him again, but it just proved to be even harder than when she was originally crushing on him. Being honest with herself, she even didn't know what she would do if she ever saw the boy barechested; she had felt his abs when she had embraced him, and they were just as solid as rocks. Why he had to be so damn manly!?
So, after Ryouta had entered the place, and with the Kokuwamons out of the picture (she scanned them during their escape), Mana, Ayaka, and she guessed that Coredramon entered the place. It seemed as if a literal Mongol horde had ransacked the whole place and there wasn't anybody at sight, unless, of course, they were bound in the tents and left to die in the fires. Mana gasped at the realization, and Ayaka seemed to comprenhend right away. She devolved almost instantly into Kodamon, and without Mana saying a word, she evolved into Cherrimmon, calling forth a downpour that would most likely put all the fires out. But Mana had realized her mistake too late. It was raining just over them!
"Ryouta-san, let's go inside a tent before we get soaked wet!" she said as she ran to the closest and relatively undamaged tent she had seen, entering it that very same instant.
"Sorry for the rashness, but an immediate action was requiered to prevent further damage on this place, hopeful—" her speech was immediately cut short by the ragged breaths of an being that was unconscious inside the tent with them. On closer inspection, it looked like a relatively big cat with an orange patch of hair between its ears and a necklace with a green gem. He seemed to be badly burned and struggling just to keep itself alive. Without losing time, the plant digimon immediately went to tend him.
"What the heck just happened in there? It looked like as if a battle... or better said, a surprise attack of sorts. And a rather brutal one, at that".

The moment they entered the campground, Ryouta already could get the picture... This camp somehow got attacked, attacked and somehow unpillaged, hence why the Kokuwamon seem pillaged it the moment they're here before them. He scanned for the situation... It's not different from the Mongolians he often saw in lots of manga, depicted as pillage-loving nomads... but then again, it's not important. He have to look for survivors... though, in his little thoughts about what to do next, he got showered by the downpour.
"W-WHA!?"
Only then he noticed Ayaka has cast over her skill on them. Like Mana, he noticed too late, apparently. He quickly called Coredramon back to the ground and devolves him back to Dracomon. He quickly followed after Ayaka and Mana to the tent. Being wet and fully clothed could make you sick, hence Ryouta, without any ill thought or the thought that the girl would most probably mesmerized by his ripped, teen bodybuilder like physique, quickly stripped his tanktop off. He rummaged his heavy looking bag for two objects and handed it over to Mana.
"Here, go dry yourself... and wear that afterward. You'll caught cold if you let yourself wet like that... I won't peek or turn over there, so..."
It was a towel, quite big one at it, probably something he usually use. What he handed to her is his parka, which probably would be quite baggy on the girl. However, at the same time he looked to the other direction, he noticed the badly burnt Liollmon who struggling to keep itself alive. That can't be good, not good at all. Luckily Ayaka already tended to the lion Digimon.
"...Whatever it is, it's sounds like one sided massacre, but not done because someone want to pillage them... more like, they're here to kill..."

She had totally jinxed it. Why she had said that she didn't want to see Ryouta barechested and then this happens. Dang it! Her eyes opened as if they were plates as she beholded those abs. There were even more defined than what she had imagined. Heck, they looked to be hard as rocks! And his pectorals... she could even feel the drool as it began to drop from her mouth, and that made her realize that she was definitely staring. She wondered how much time Ryouta had been with his hands extended, offering both a rather big towel and his parka jacket for her to wear. Of course, she blushed on a really bright shade of crimson as she took the piece of clothing and the towel on a quick fashion.
"A-ah, ss-sorrry, Rrryouta-ssan!" she managed to say before turning away from that mesmerizing body. It almost sounded as babble, but luckily the point she wanted to say managed to get across. She firstly got rid of her hoodie and then the tank-top, but as she began to dry her upper body. The Liollmon began waking up as his state became better; the first thing that he saw was Mana's back, and seemingly without even thinking about it, he roared in the girl's direction, sending a sound wave towards her.
Neither Mana could react on time nor Ayaka could get in the way of the attack, but and the result was a rather harmless one; everyone who were on the cone adjacent to it would fall asleep on the spot. And as such, Mana fell face first on top of the parka she has holding, and luckily the jacket did a pretty god job at hiding her decency. But this happening also revealed a thin, yet long scar that looked like a patch of dull pinkish skin that went from the middle of Mana's left shoulderblade to her right hip.
The little lion, after giving the situation a good look before blushing as he pointed at said scar.
"Uh, I'm sorry! I thought that was one of the marks that the DarkTyrannomon that was here had! I didn't meant to knock her out, I swear!".
As the cat made his best 'I'm so sorry face' and Ayaka went to tend her sleeping comrade, everyone who repaired on Mana sleeping could definitely say that she was definitely cute, if you ignored the fact that her modesty was almost compromised. She had a truly angelic face, but maybe her most striking feature was that even in her sleep, she clung onto Ryouta's parka, as if wanting to snuggle into it, and she was smiling all along the way.
"Ryo-kun..." came in a soft and blissful voice, almost as a whisper, but loud enough to be heard on the relative silence of the tent.

OK, I'm not that dense to not understood when someone gave me an obvious sign of anything it is... I know when someone's staring at me, but this is... Kami, don't tell me she's attracted to me physically? I... I do grow quite a bit compared to last time and I do think it's impressive, but... oh God... she's drooling? It sure felt great to be admired like this, but... This is wrong! If she's my girlfriend, I'll enjoy every single second of it teasing her... but she's not mine! What the heck!?
The black haired boy blushes really red, but he made no attempt to cover his very well built body. No, more like... it's almost like he's subconsciously wanted her to look mor-- WAIT, WHAT!? NO!! What the heck, she got a boyfriend! It's totally wrong to goes like this! Snap out of it, Man! You're not a girlfriend stealer! You're just a guy who loves her like a big brother! ---Wait, loves? URGH! CUT IT OUT!!

Before he could said anything else, she immediately apologized, greatly stuttering and blushed. Ryouta simply turned to other direction as she took both items from his hand. Geez... geez... someone, please, just let him out of this kind of place... it's torturing him... He... he rejected her, right? Yeah---wait, that's not him, that's his light counterpart... plus... NO, NO, NO! Don't give her hope! If she took it as a sign that he likes her then... she would probably left her boyfriend... and he'll ruin someone's love life.
Spacing out clearly isn't the best activity to do, especially when your injured patient is a Digimon. Liollmon roared, making Mana asleep somehow. The black haired boy quickly jumped from his spot to check on the younger girl... To his relief, she's just sleeping.
"It's fine... I guess we got lucky it's not a harming attack... you OK?" he asked the lion Digimon.
Just when he about to add something, he heard her sleeptalking. His heart skipped a beat... Ryo-kun? Isn't her boyfriend is someone named Charles? Self consciousness and rather, great pride assaulted his heart. He felt like this girl yearned for him...
He really felt like a shit... He already know he likes her, but he refuses to believe it.

"Gentlemen, could you please turn away for a second?" Ayaka asked to the three actual male occupants of the tent. After they did so, she finalized changing Mana into the parka and turned her to lie face up. At least her modesty wasn't compromised, but now she was hugging herself, and her smile looked even brighter than before.
"Your body is so warm, Ryo-kun...".
Ayaka could only sweatdrop when she thought about what Mana was actually dreaming about. These 'hormones' stuff was definitely way more serious that what her doctor had said, that was for sure. But she had to shake her head as of now, for those matters could wait until Mana woke up, and even then, it depended on the girl and the boy to discuss wether they wanted to be sincere about their feelings or not. Because maybe she wasn't as perceptive as her partner (well, she was way more perceptive in this situation, but this was an exception), but she could feel that Ryouta was having his doubts at the very least.
"Okay, Lion-san. Could you tell us exactly what happened in here?" she asked to the cat, who turned to face the new-clothed girl and the faerie.
"The name's Liollmon, and it was pretty... strange, to say the least. You see, this camp is handled by Dinohumon-sama. He's a kind digimon who trains everyone who seeks him. As you may think, this place is mostly populated by rookies, and we earn our keep by doing various jobs or chores between the training regimes but..."
The cat made a pause, struggling to find the words that he was about to use.
"I hadn't joined by that day, as I'm quite new, but the older trainees said that one day, a DarkTyrannomon came here and asked for training. For reasons I don't know, DinoHumon-sama rejected him, and he seemed to be pretty angry. That was like... three or so weeks ago".
"So he came back for revenge?" Ayaka inquired again.
"I... think so. Earlier today, the alarm sounded, but I was just too sleepy to react fast enough to go to the refuge, and I saw them; at least a group of ten BlackAgumon and three or four DarkTyrannomon came here, and just on the day that DinoHumon-sama and the better students weren't here because they had to attend a special tournament. So.. if you were outside, you saw what actually happened by yourselves. Hopefully the others are alright..."
Ayaka thought for a second, before finally addressing Ryouta.
"What do you think of all this, Ryouta-san? This tale is a rather disturbing one, mainly because it implied that there is someone on the ranks of this place that doesn't have the best of intentions and most probably informed those DarkTyrannomons that DinoHumon was not here. What should we d—".
Her speech was interrupted by a rather soft yawn that escaped Mana's lips as she started to regain consciousness.
"Whoa... I feel as if I had slept for hours" she said as she stretched her arms, with her eyes still closed "Wait a minute... why I smell like a condecorated war hero?".
