River:Check.
Crazy bad smell:check.
Ugly building moss: check.
Privacy and quiet: check.
Yep, this was shuibuya river, alright. A good place to rest, well, of you take the smell that is. There cuddling were Ann and Treat. The blue was nearly asleep when his tamer made a question for him.
"Treat...Am I good? A good tamer?" Ann asked.
"What? Of course, my princess, why would you even ask that?" Treat inquired, suprised by the question with which he was woken up.
"It's just that...I sometimes wonder if you wouldn't prefer another tamer. Someone important like Ryoko, or someone more mature like R or someone more adventurous like Takeda or someone that gives you more independence like Kazemaru..." Ann listed until Treat interrupted.
"You're forgetting the most important of all: someone that cares about me, that takes care of me, that needs me...someone like you my princess." Treat answered.
"Aw, Treat that's really sweet, by what if..."
"What if your aunt had a mustache, she'd be your uncle."
Ann giggled. Treat could really be funny sometimes.
"Besides, my princess, if there was one who should ask such a question that would be me."
"Why Treat?"
"You know why, my princess."
"Treat, Ironymon...it was my fault he came to life. I shouldn't have mistreated you..."
"My princess, you didn't... What do you say we just forget about this and go back to sleeping? Afterall, maybe we're all just as good as each other, just that..."
"Each one us good in his own way?"
"Yes, how did you know, my princess?"
"My brother used to say that all the time when someone mocked me in school."
Ann gave Treat a big, warm smile. He smiled back and went back to sleep as agreed.

It had been a long morning in the Tanaka homestead. Kenichi was at school, Hideki was stuck at home, sick and Chikurimon was currently undergoing some kind of a relapse. The metallic digimon had torn a swathe of destruction through the kitchen before finally being stopped by childproofing. The Tanakas had wised up after the first “raccoon” attack and placed simple plastic locks on all of the cabinets. Hideki wasn’t entirely sure that they would keep out a child, but they worked wonders for the armless digimon. Unfortunately, the in-training was very impulsive when it was hungry.. and ice-cream vendors had discovered mobility.
Dressed in his most comfortable kigurumi, the sickened dinosaur-clad tamer noticed something odd when he awoke from his sick-bed, a horrible silence had befallen the two bedroom apartment. There was a distinct lack of Kenichi's snoring, a lack of Chikurimon beeps. The boy would have thought the digimon was simply silent or in another room if he hadn't heard the loud breaking of glass or the deafening, familiar siren of a certain baby. "Chikurimon!"
Running as fast as his sickness-addled, pajama-wearing legs could carry him, Hideki gave chase. The hot asphalt of the road that stung his bare feet had no effect on the spiked orb that called itself Chikurimon. It homed in on the messenger bearing frozen lactose-based treats like a chrome missile.
The two gave chase for roughly ten minutes until a strong odor overpowered Chikurimon's dairy-crazed senses. The stink of putrefaction and rotting garbage filled the air as they passed what smelled like an open landfill. When the ailing, bright red tamer finally reached his partner's location, the creature's eyes were focused on a pair of figures on the other side of the stinking water. One appeared to be a blue, wolf-like creature and the other was human female wearing the brightest pink hat that Hideki's eyes had ever seen.
"Those guys look ridiculous" the boy thought, completely forgetting about his red, dinosaur-themed pajamas.

(OOC: I have to oppose the uage of the expression "humanoid" revering to Treat. He looks like a blue dog with binocules, pure and simple.)
Ann woke up with a metallic noise nearby, across the shuibuya river. Wait...she fell asleep here too, not just Treat? She stood, embaressed. That's when she noticed that a tiny metal being and boy in red dinossaur-themed pinamas were staring at her and Treat awkwardly.
"Hum, Treat? Could you wake up?" Ann requested. Treat yawned as he did and stood on all fours.
"What's going on my princess?" Treat asked, half sleeping.
"I think there is a tamer in pijamas and his digimon staring at us from that side of the river." Ann said. Treat's eyes widened. "Maybe I should just go and greet them."
Without waiting for an answer, Ann moved ahead and waved to the boy and his digimon. She pointed at the bridge that connected the two sides of the river and walked towards that place, hoping the boy got that he was supposed to meet her halfway.
Treat, with little choice on the matter, just followed his tamer to the bridge where she waited for the boy to come.
"Hi! I'm Ann and this is Treat what are your names?" Ann greeted the boy as he arrived.

(OOC: Sorry, I was picturing a Gaomon kind of thing. Fixed my post, though! Also, Hideki wasn’t “staring awkwardly”, that was Chikurimon xD Hideki just kind of noticed you guys and commented on how Ann looked.)An unholy racket escaped Chikurimon when it saw the girl rouse. It wasn’t out of fear, or trepidation.. more along the lines of when it spotted a meal. The creature was excited to see another digimon walking around, or laying around. Another lazy digimon lounging in the stinking air? Clearly the two were kindred spirits. “Calm down there, buddy. It’s just a- oh.” Hideki hadn’t realized until that moment that the blue, binocular-clad canine lounging on the far bank could be a digimon until that moment. “Huh, a dog? That’s a new one.” He returned the younger girl’s waving with a wide smile. She had looked older from the other side of the river, but Hideki had just noticed her size. She couldn’t have been any older than nine, maybe ten. The younger child motioned towards a rusted metal support bridge, joining the concrete banks of the man-made river. Hideki wasn’t sure that he wanted to get any closer to the stinking brown water, yet alone over it.. but the girl looked so excited to see them.. Okay, I’ve now gotta do it. Plus, new digimon to meet! He walked quickly and hurriedly over to the bridge, glancing down into the water occasionally as some shiny flotsam caught his eye. "Hey! My name's Hideki! Are you a Tamer too?" he shouted as he walked. That bridge was farther away than it looked! The boy pointed at his bouncing, spiked compatriot as he continued. "This is Chikuri- AH!"
The words slipped his mind as his foot failed to take hold on the slippery ground and Hideki went sailing headfirst into the Shibuya river. A loud shriek echoed from his compatriot in response to Hideki's scream as Chikurimon bravely leapt in after his friend. It was a courageous notion to be sure, but seemingly futile as the creature lacked any visible limbs. The meeting looked as if it was going to end as quickly as it began as tamer and digimon alike were swept away by the brown, stinking currents. [Exit] [Continued in ".. and Downs"]

(OOC: I'll explain later.)
The other human's digimon seemed excited to meet them and the boy seemed no less eager, though far less energetic. Using, his binocules, Treat followed with his eyes the apprach of the boy and his digimon along the side of the river, the boy sometimes looking at the river's contents, possibly afraid of falling into that mess. Imagining it, amused Treat, in a way that he even let out a short laugth.
"What are you laugthing about, Treat?" Ann asked, eager to know what was so funny.
"Oh, nothing my princess, just appreciating the view." Treat replied mestiriously making Ann want to insist on her question. However, she was prevented from doing so by the boy's shouted introduction.
"Nice to meet you Hideki! Yes, I am..." Ann was stopped by Hideki falling into the river and his partner's failed attempt to rescue him. " Oh no!"
"Stay there my princess!" Treat shouted before jumping into the river himself. He wanted to swim and rescue Hideki and his partner, but something was pulling him, and not the river: a portal. The portal sucked Treat in and Ann too, as she dived in as well to go help her beloved partner.
