It had been a while since Scyrus had left the Village to find his purpose. Currently he was trying to adapt himself to his new form. Despite it supposed to be natural movement, he still tripped over a couple of times. He could only womder why this didn't happen when he left. Oh well, time to continue on.
As he hopped and hopped forward, without a real goal, he slowly began getting the hang of his body, realising how to distribute his weight and soon it became instinct. He could hear a couple of voices far off in the distance. Judging from the direction he came from this must be where the huts he saw in the distance would be. The grunts and groans grew louder and closer. He could spot a sign post.
"Spar....tan.....Train...ing....Grounds...?" He read aloud. His reading was slightly rusty, but not in the worst state.
So this is what this place was called? A place for training for other Digimon. Scyrus stared blankly at the sign, he really didn't feel anything from this place. Maybe his purpose wasn't here? He might as well look around.
So he did. He hopped around, seeing many Digimon battling eachother, trying to get stronger...hmm....that almost rang a bell in his memory. He hopped around hoping he would find his reason for being.
Currently, his search bore no fruit. He didn't feel the slightest spark of motivation. He eventually sat down dissapointed, looking at all the Digimon trying to get stronger, wonder how the feeling of motivation felt.

To say Vetina was surprised to see that Scyrus was no longer at the Village of Beginnings would be a lie. She had returned a few days after her initial meeting with the new Scyrus, and after some scouting noticed he was not there. It wouldn't be hard to find a bunny head with a scythe floating around it, and he didn't seem the type to play with others.
Realizing he was gone, Vetina searched for him. She knew he couldn't have gotten far, and she could move faster than Scyrus currently could as she had higher forms. The search took her to the Spartan Training Grounds. Might as well look there. She hoped to find him soon. If he was any stronger she wanted to see how he acted and then could decide what to do with the rabbit digimon.
Some searching later, Vetina found her quarry! She walked up to him, but still kept a certain distance. She noted that, as he digivolved, she hoped the restrictions on her speech would be lifted, at least somewhat.
"So, here you are. You being here should have been a primary hypothesis. I've seen you've gained some personal ability."

Scyrus had actually ignored the voice talking to him. He was too fixiated on the fight going on...eventually he did notice the strange plant Digimon in front of him. She seemed familiar, but unfortunately, it didn't ring a bell. He looked at her blankly, not quite sure if she got the right 'mon. She seemed to have some speech impediment or something, though Scyrus understood her strangely enough. This time around, Scythe was simply unreactive.
"Who....?" He simply asked her. Not feeling like saying anything else, he was in a rather grouchy mood as his search bore no fruit. His empty eyes tried to quickly wander to the spar behind her.
"Ah.."
It ended. They gave eachother a handshake and exchanged smiled. Why? Wasn't this a test of their strength? Shouldn't they have kept going until one of them died? That would trully increase their strength, at least to the winner. So this is as far as their motivation goes huh? Scyrus was even more disapointed now.
His business was done. He stopped caring to be here.

Vetina was patient with Scyrus, whom was fixated on a nearby duel and ignoring her. He did say his memory was bad from the last time they met. Vetina wasn't expecting a grand reception, just some recognition that they met before. She shook her head, noting how things weren't going so good so far.
Briefly looking to the finishing fight, Vetina turned back to the bunny.
"Maybe your memories are indeed warm water stored in a rag, Scyrus. It's Vetina, the one whom you had a prior engagement days ago.
You were empty like the container of your memories, a miserable shell. I've considered aiding you, if able, a step to reach a doable purpose. Frankly, I fear this pittance of kindness is of ill worth to you. "

Scyrus cocked his head slightly to the side. Oh! That's right! Vetina! Who was Vetina? Huh....he could only remember that. He striaightened up his head and shook it. Well, taking into account the fact that he forgets things easily, he assumed this must have been one of the people he forgot about. She also seemed to know of this too.
".....Apologize, me only remember your name..." He stated. "Yes, I am empty, no reason, me could die right now and no change would happen around me. I want to change that." He added blankly.
He stood up and shook his head once more. "No....this my problem....Why do you....care?" He asked her without expression.
Well, as things were going, he was geeting slightly more and more bored. This wasn't making finding his purpose go any quicker.

Scyrus only needed a reminder of who she was... although she was not quite convinced he fully remembered her. But he acknowledged what she said about his emptiness was true. However, he said something that was surprising. Crossing her arms, she sighed softly, shaking her head.
"You wish your demise had social worth? An odd goal, I must tell you. Unexpected too. Sounds like the gab of one who considers their life disposable.
I care, Scyrus, somewhat of the status of your personal being. This old repetition of life, death, and reformation is a concept I hoped even you can see. I called you friend during your previous cycle. How and when it was terminated, I cannot say.
I saw a potential rival in your being back then, but foremost a friend. At least, to the degree it can be to one so... antisocial."

Huh, maybe he wasn't clear with how he said it, his speech was lacking in the comprehension department some times. So he tried rephrasing, hoping this time she would understand.
"Not much....social worth....more personal worth. Me empty, I want to be whole again." He answered, hoping maybe he could convey what he trully meant to her.
She kept going on about cycles of life and death, reformation? What did that have anything to do with him? He was still unaware of this being his second chance at living, so her words were foreign to him. He could only assume that she must be talking about him in the past he had already forgotten. Not a mad assumption to make, he thought. Either way, apparently before he lost his memory, he was friends with her? That is very unlikely, he never understood the concept of friendship nor the reason why someone would like to befriend others. Even had he lost his memory, he would remember that much.
"Why...friend?" He asked. "How does that feel?" Curious as to why and even how he becames friends with her, he was still very skeptical.
Again, being called something he did not know the meaning of. "What 'antisocial'?"

Friendship was a foreign concept to this bunny digimon. And the term 'antisocial'. That vocabulary will return one day, and she can at least say it wasn't her way of speech that led to confusion.
"Do not attempt to consider ourselves hand holders, skipping along on fields of color. We comprehended each other to a point. We sat and bartered words together. I even fought you, offering a foothold in your grasp of power. Truthfully, emotional proximity wasn't much, but we were acquainted upon good terms.
And antisocial denotes one who, generally, avoids and detests most degrees of social interaction.
You want drive? Before, you desired power. But... it's a mere supplement. Power without purpose just feigns any fullness you can have.
Huh... my position has me recollecting my own Sensei. Odd."

"...."
Well that was odd, he could remember back in the Village that many young Digimon that played together, laughed together and smiled together, called each other friends. He assumed that a friend is among those lines, but according to her, being "Acquaintance upon good terms" is enough? Wait a sec....
He just remembered, Village of Beginnings was where he was born! So that's why they all acted like that...Oh well, it didn't change a thing knowing this.
"I can tolerate being social....to extent." He admitted.
"Me not want to drive, I want wholeness. I wish to be what would be considered...normal? Whole." He said.
He really disliked the feeling of emptiness inside, he assumed finding a reason would give him wholeness again...but would it really?

"Drive was to imply motivation."
The Palmom scratched her head, still on the fence as to whether she was to help him or not. He was quite hard to read, so she wasn't too sure how she could convince him to let her help him, if even a bit.
"And do not mislead your steps. Wholeness and normal are mutually exclusive. Of course... I myself would not define my place in either. But I'm at least a glass half full. A green, oddly shaped glass.
Tell me, are you for want of anything? Yes, you want self completion, but, noting that, is there anything else you want? I pry only to help. Because we, too, might hold a friendship. If allowed."

Well that was a new word to add to the mental memo. It's probably going to be forgotten anyhow.
"Yes, very green and odd." He thought to himself, cocking his head to the side.
Well, Scyrus wasn't one to know what to do with himself. Actually, he began to think about it. What would happen when he fills the gap inside him? He didn't think that far ahead. He looked aside with a legitimate look of slight nervousness.
"I...I cross that bridge when I get to it." He muttered to himself and quickly shook off that nervous feeling. Apparently he wasn't fully devoid of feelings. After a couple of seconds of quiet he spoke up.
"I do not know...." He finally admitted, this time with a straight face.

A nervous glance... slightly jarring all things considered, but ultimately not very surprising. The Palmon saw that Scyrus needed a lot of guidance of some sort. No, not quite that... just a path. Knowing where to go, so to speak, with his life.
"Huh. Well, a hobby might be of considerable application. But perhaps it is best to guide, but not to stick hands into your clay. After all, *you* are Scyrus. I shan't try to sculpt you in such raw form. It's not a forte.
So, I offer you a choice and a chance."
Vetina held her hands out, although this was merely a gesture.
"It'll be a choice of ease, I assure you. I'd give you time but your recollections are rather busted. Anyway, either you wish permittance to be, as you are, alone for a time to try to gauge where your niche lie. Choose this, and I will return to you at a future date, assuredly.
Or you, for a length of your choosing with certainty, party up with me and my friend, not present at this time, and find your niche that way."

Well, whatever a hobby was, it was scarecly understood by him. However from the context of the comversation he assumed it must mean some kind of pass time. Well, wasn't searching for wholeness his hobby?
Now he was given a choice. Travel with her and this unknown friend to try and find what will fill the gap inside him, or he can go by it alone, and then meet up withher some time in the future. However this wasn't much of a hard decision for him. After she finished asking, almost immediately, with a straight face, he answered.
"Alone." He shook his head as he glanced at the hand in front of him and back at her.
He still stood by what he had said. He will go by this alone, this was his own problem to fix. You can't really help someone if they don't want to be helped.
"Me no care if she used to be "friend", now we are acqauintances, nothing more, therefore... No reason for you to care." He said once again.

Vetina chuckled at the response from Scyrus. She was fully expecting this answer, and it showed.
"Ahh, well that decision is now on display. Find that elusive solace of a purpose, with your own strength. Develop yourself, to a superlative, or at least comparative compared to now. That said, allow an offering of a tip.
Do not keep yourself socially isolated in a box. What purpose is there to be found among cardboard. Make associates as you see fit, but set the bar at simple knowledge of others. Maybe keep a damn journal.
May our directions intersect, Scyrus." Vetina held out her hand, hoping to shake the hand of the rabbit digimon. Regardless of if he does so or not, she would take her leave.
What to do with Scyrus... she would need to give him time.

"Dully noted." He nodded blankly. Currently he didn't see how developing relationships would be of any help with him...But despite his unsociable nature, some part of him felt like listening to her, however that voice in his head was very quiet.
The idea of a journal wasn't that bad when he thought about it. Easily he could write in it and keep track of what he has done...He will try his best at making sure he remembers this.
Again with the extended hand, he didn't shake it. He didn't know he had to shake it. Whatever she was gone before he was interested in asking her. Seeing as how she left, he now had no reason to stay here. Scyrus began to hop away from the Training Grounds and find that special thing.
