Hideki had definitely grown up within the last month, but that didn't mean that he had completely come out of his shell. He had noticed some of his fellow tamers in the crowd and he even had Troopmon, well.. his in-training, Chikurimon, with him in a bag. The digimon didn't like it much, but it was far harder to get anything done when he was being followed by what appeared to be some kind of rubber-wearing cosplay enthusiast. Plus, the creature was enjoying its favorite pass-time, eating.
There was some kind of lottery going on in the 104 that day, something about winning a date with a.. Ryoko Satsuma? Why did that name sound familiar? He knew about that Ryoko lady from the Gunpla shop, the one that had the awesome samurai Sazabi.. but why would they be giving out a ride and date with her? "Well, I might as well enter for the other prizes. A million bucks would be awesome.." the boy looked into his bag at the shiny-eyed creature within. "..and we could actually afford to feed ya, right buddy?" The digimon didn't react, of course. It knew it would always get food, and it scarcely understood the concept of money anyway, but that die-cast toy car would be fun to play with!
He approached the ticket salesman, bought a ticket, and entered a number from memory, hoping that maybe it would bring him luck. 1979, the year Mobile Suit Gundam first premiered on Japanese television. He took a deep breath and slid his number into the drop box.
"Well, at least we bit the bullet. So, I wonder where everyone else went.." It wasn't long before he noticed Duffer and Kotemon walking around and they were speaking to.. Ryoko? The boy was blushing heavily as he approached the group. Wait.. was that Mana too? Oh, and a few other people he didn't immediately recognize. With a red face redder than if he had gone Trans-Am, he spoke up. "Oh, hey guys, what's up? I didn't know you guys knew each other." He grinned widely, hoping it would make him look less ridiculous.. but of course, nothing could hide that big red face.

And we'll never be royals. The blonde soccer captain was vaguely aware of her name coming up in the conversation just a few feet away, or rather the name Ryoko had blessed her with "Mademoiselle Sky." A slight smirk crossed the busty teen's expression, but it faltered when she heard the voice directed towards her.
She blinked once and glanced up to see the tomboy superstar. "Oh hey," she greeted. her tone blunted. When the older girl mentioned her "baby" she just looked down at the Relemon who was munching on the last bits of hotdog.
The teen stood and stretched before grabbing her bags. Quirking an eyebrow, she addressed both Ryoko and Mana's questions at the same time. 'She doing okay, but no, she doesn't have a name yet."
Her sharp azure gaze flicked over the two digital girls who stood beside Mana. So the younger girl had two Digimon? Well, it wasn't that strange considering the boy, Elson, whom had helped her find Relemon just two hours ago, had had three on his team.
She didn't greet the two girls, rather just glanced back at Ryoko to see a man approaching. When she was introduced to the man, she just smirked and glanced back at Mana when the younger girl kept babbling on about how she hoped Sky won something. "Listen kid, yeah I entered, but I want the money so I can get the hell out of here."
Another voice piped up and the blonde's gaze flickered to another boy, probably about Mana's age, had made his way up to the crowd. How did all these little kids know each other? Oh yeah, they probably all watched the same baby shows and played at the playground together. She huffed and turned to Ryoko, since the older girl was a at least a bit closer to her age. "So, you've got quite the fans, don't you?" she whispered, glancing around at the crowds milling about.
[BTW, Sky is now going to be considered 17. Yeah, I'm changing it, but I'm just letting you know in case any one is wondering why she is treating the kids like...kids.]

Just as Duffer introduced himself to Amano, Hideki came to the group. Wow, looks like the group grew larger, eh? Of course, it couldn't make the tomboy happier than that. Seeing all her friends here (as well as her both love interests) made her cherished than usual. She smiled to her "Mademoiselle" while hearing that she wanted to win the money to get out of here. But alas, that redheaded girl wouldn't like for that to happen, yet.
And there Hideki, greeting them. So, he just noticed that they knew each other? Well, in Ryoko's case, she already knew Mana, Ayaka, Hideki, and Sky. She had just met Duffer now. "Yo, Hide-chan! Fancy ta meetcha here. Ya entered da lottery too?" Ryoko asked him. "I juz met Duffer n Kody now, n then thar's Sky. Oi~! Mademoiselle, Amano-san!"
She then introduced Hideki to Skylar, and then to Amano. She also introduced them to the boy. "Mademoiselle Sky, Amano-san, here's ma friend, Hideki. Hideki, he's ma workmate Kousei Amano-san 'n da cute blondie over thar's Mademoiselle Skylar Akiyama." "Nice to meet you, Hideki-kun." Amano said as he offered him a shakehand. "By the way, I'm here just to greet my friend Ryoko, and we're gonna have a live performance with her a hour later. In the meantime, I wanna go to look around shops to buy something. See you later a hour later, Ryoko-chan, everyone!" "Oh, okay then. Bai!" Ryoko bid as Amano left. Now it left Ryoko and her younger friends. Let's see...
Mana and Hideki were 13 year old teens, all while they were freshmen in middle school, they were still considered as kids by some adult. And Duffer, he was just a year older than those two. And the blonde, Skylar was the most mature among her friends, albeit a bit cocky. She even considered those younger than her kids. But it was nice to have kids, really.
As for Ryoko, she didn't bother to get along with kids, because, since she acted in Tokusatsu shows, which was generally aimed for kids (unless there were Tokusatsu shows for adults), she had fans, even kids. Of course, she had to get along with kids greeting her, and she liked it. Ryoko was an easy-going type of person who just enjoyed to hang out with anyone. And she had to chose to take Mana or Sky, to date, start a relationship, and even taking care of kids. Gosh, all those thoughts made her blushed in possible happiness and awe.
And then the blush disappeared as Sky whispered at her. Ryoko just snickered and she whispered, "Yeah, kinda. People considered me as popular celeb, n I think i know wai." It was obvious considering she was a superstar. Singer, actress, and model. She even acted as suit actors in Tokusatsu shows, and performed her own stunts in several movies and shows. "And 'gez wut?" Ryoko then leaned her head closer to Skylar's ears, and whispered, "I think I'm gonna admire ya, Mademoiselle."
After that, Ryoko turned to Hideki and asked, "So, Hide-chan, wut kinda prize ya wanna win?"

"Hideki!" Duffer smiled, hugging his japanese counterpart tightly. "How's it going? You see any of those movies I suggested? ...And where's Troop?" The boy asked. "Everyone, this is Hideki, Hideki, this is everyone." Duffer was a surprisingly touchy-feely guy compared to when they last met, Perhaps a side-effect to the haunted house incident.
Kotemon nodded. "Relax Duffer, he still has his superior with him, and rather unusually it seems that everyone else here also has a similar companion..." Kotemon said, being as unsubtle as possible. "Perhaps it would be best if we would all relocate so your companions can stretch, hm?"
Duffer shook his head. "Kody, I don't think taking charge right now would be a good idea..." the boy said, letting go of Hideki and approaching his companion. Before the mon could say anything, Duffer took the training sword and held it out of Kotemon's reach. While the mon did its best to regain control, Duffer chuckled nervously. "Sorry about that... my sibling likes to take charge... He's not very good at making new friends." The fact the digimon was getting too close to spilling the beans about everyone's respective digimon, he hoped the others would see what his actions were about as well.

Apparently unfazed by Sky's not-so-friendly speech, Mana just continued to smile at her. So, she wanted the prize money? It seemed that that was attracting a lot of people. "Don't worry, Sky-san! If I win the prize money, I'm sure that we can spend some of it together! It'd be so fun to go shopping with you! Oh, but I already promised Duffer-san tha...".
Yet, before the overly cheerful girl could continue with her little speech, Hideki appeared, greeting them. He still seemed a bit flustered for some reason the Mana. "Hi, Hideki-san!" she greeted him cheerfully "It's so good to see you again! How are Chikurimon and you doing? Hoefully you've became great friends already!".
As Amano went there again (or at the first time for Mana, because she had gone to where Sky was right away, failing to notice the actor earlier), she bowed deeply to him. This was just so great!" "Oh, Amano-sama, sorry for not having noticed you before! My name is Tsumura Mana and I'm so happy to meet you! I really liked your role in Kamen Rider Blade and Kamen Rider Fourze! Can you please give me your autograph?".
Cheerily, she brought out a paper and a pen, extending them to the famous actor. But even if he gave it to her or not, she'd immediately close on Ryoko the very same moment that Sky implicitly asked for the reason Ryoko had so much fans. "Of course she will have a lotta fans!" she exclaimed happily "She's a really known and famous toku actress and singer and model and a lotta more stuff! Ryoko-sama is just the awesomest person out there!".
Yet, she couldn't but tilt her head with puzzlement when the readhead said that she would admire Sky. Maybe the blonde was famous too and Mana didn't know it. She could only guess.

And we'll never be royals. Sky just rolled her eyes. "If you win, I could care less about your money." But when the younger teen mentioned something about shopping she stared at the pink-clad girl. "I think it'll take more than a few hours with you to show you some style." This might sound hurtful, but this was almost an invitation from the blonde to go shopping at sometime. If there was a chance for shopping, she would probably take up the chance.
Skylar just gave Hideki a once over, her sharp azure eyes traveling up and down the young boy's body once. This was not in a sexual way, but more of an appraising way. She just glanced back to Ryoko when she also introduced them to Amano, who seemed to be a coworker of sorts. She flashed a bright smirk, throwing her blonde hair over one shoulder. "Yo," she said, her voice smooth as she tilted her head in a cocky way.
"Yeah, kinda. People considered me as popular celeb, n I think i know wai."
Sky quirked an eyebrow, but still wore a smug smirk. "Well yeah, of course. Everyone wants to know when you're a star. That's the point of being one. You're rich and beau...." she blinked and stopped herself in her tracks. "It's cause you're rich," she muttered bluntly
"I think I'm gonna admire ya, Mademoiselle."
This caused Sky just jump back a step and blinked. "Uh Ryoko..." she muttered. It was hard to get this cocky blond flustered, but the older girl had managed. She coughed and muttered then turned back to the little fluffy ball in her hands.
She turned away from Ryoko and looked at Duffer and Kotemon, when the Digimon suggested they move so they could "stretch." "Yeah, sounds like a good idea," she said, but where exactly would they go? Her own partner didn't have this problem since she was still at the Fresh level.

"Uh yeah.. I entered." The boy replied quickly before Duffer wrapped him in a tight hug. "Hey Duffer! Yeah, I watched Alien and Aliens.. I don't think I'll ever look at an egg the same way again." The boy smiled as he returned the embrace, completely losing track of Ryoko and her older friends at the moment before Kotemon spoke up. "Kotemon's right.. I kind of thought that having Troopmon following me around would look a little weird in the middle of Shibuya, so he's in my bag eating away the rest of my allowance. So wait, you guys just walk around in the open like this? What if someone asks about them?"
A sharp wail of protest was heard through the thin fabric of Hideki's backpack, barely audible with all of that junk food in the creature's.. wait, if Chikurimon doesn't have a mouth, how does it eat? Hideki quickly looked into the bag to find a pair of glowing eyes staring back, with what appeared to be a candy wrapper phased halfway through its opague, metal exterior.
"Wait.. Ryoko, you have a digimon too? Small world, huh? Knowing you, it probably turns into a Gundam or a Kamen Rider or something, though.. way cooler than this little guy." The boy had heard Duffer say something about his sibling, which he had only barely comprehended, as he was trying to wrap his mind around two world-changing things. One, Chikurimon apparently had an extradimensional wormhole for a face.. and two, Ryoko was simultaneously awesome, smoking hot, and a digimon tamer? Note to self, ask her to be my mentor.
"Hey Mana-chan! Good to see you too. Is everyone here for this lottery thing?" the boy looked around the crowded mall. The group barely had the room to stand, yet alone relax. "I mean, I'm sure the money will be awesome, but I don't see why everyone's so worked up about going on a date with some famous person. I mean, famous people are people too, you know?"
Just then, he heard something.. something terrifying. Mana was saying something about.. wait, I may need to pay attention to this.
"..famous toku actress..." Hideki's heart stopped. "..singer and model.." Is it hot in here or is it just me? "..Ryoko-sama is just the awesomest.." Oh no.. there it goes.
The last vestiges of Hideki's pubescent mind slid away as the world darkened around him. The crowd's deafening roar faded into a dull echo in the infinite void of the child's world. Anime face lines. Big dark room. A bouquet fell. Somewhere in the distance, Ryoko-sempai laughed as she leapt into her Shinobi Astray and launched into the darkness of space, into the abyss. Far out of grasp of mortals.. so far out of hand for Hideki Tanaka.
Whoosh. Sparkle. Ping. She was gone.
Meanwhile, in real life, she was standing less than ten feet from him and was trying to get his attention, but his mind wasn't there. His mind wasn't anywhere but space. "Uh.. the uh.. PS Vita? Oh my goodness!" the boy pulled up his sleeve on his jacket as if to check his watch, but there was nothing there. "Well look at the time. I have to go.. iron my dog." The boy started to walk off with a look of pure shock on his face.

As Amano was about to leave, Mana introduced herself and admired him for his works in Kamen Rider Blade as Sakuya Tachibana AKA Kamen Rider Garren I, and Kouhei Hayami AKA Libra Zodiarts in Kamen Rider Fourze. He was about to make appearance in Kamen Rider Blade: The Next Fifteen V-Cinema, reprising his role as Tachibana. Not to mention that another Tachibana Ryoko would play was his character's adopted sister. Mana then asked Amano for an autograph, which he gladly signed and gave.
"Okay. I got to go now. My wife and children are waiting at department store. See you in the live performance!" Amano bid as he finally took his leave.
Ryoko then waved at Amano again, as he left them. And now it was really for them to be alone. And so here the hammy girl to chat with them again. "Woah, it muz be nice to win da bucks! I mean, I dun realleh need dat hefty sum of bucks, as I can make ma living from da payment from ma job moar than enuff. But I think I would like to shop with ya guyz." Ryoko said.
When Skylar commented about shopping with Mana with her usual cocky attitude, Ryoko just chuckled. Maybe Mana could learn some fashion from that diva complex girl and herself. "Oh, n it muz be very excitin' if we all go to shop! Maybe we could buy sum new clothes, n then go in a dine together? Dat's realleh kewl!
Speakin' of which, ya n Duffer promised to go sumwhere, Mana-chin? Dat would be intrestin' for ya guyz." Ryoko commented.
And then Mana told the busty blonde about Ryoko's professions as singer, actress, and model. And that fangirling comment from that 13 year old girl about Ryoko being awesome so she got herself many fans. Skylar then added about Ryoko being rich and beautiful. The busty star could hear the beautiful part before that blonde stopped and just said about the rich part. All those comments made Ryoko flattered, and a bit shy.
"Thanks for da praises guyz... I'm a flattered." Ryoko flustered in slight embarrassment, rubbing her back of neck. While Mana's fangirling comments was a daily basis to her, the redhead could consider it as natural, with Mana being honest at that. But to see such comments from a cocky girl like Skylar... was rare. She looked like as if she held back. But still, Ryoko knew how to deal that.
"If thar's anythin' ya wanna say, juz be honest to yo'self n say it." Ryoko whispered at Sky again closely.
Hideki then commented if Ryusei could turn into Gundam or Kamen Rider. The latter was correct, as Ryusei's forms resembled Kamen Rider Fourze. Ryoko then noticed Hideki... Spacing out? Whatever he was thinking made Ryoko puzzled. And then he answered her question about the reward he'd like to win. But that boy was a bit... awkward, especially after he learned Ryoko's status as celebrity for the first time. And that was when she noticed Hideki acted a bit weird as he suddenly ran off.
"Oi, Hideki!" Ryoko called out. But it was too late as he was out of her reach. Ryoko could only shrug as she tried to figure out why. And then Kotemon was about to do a stretch. But where? At a gym?
Nadeshiko was sitting on bench near the takoyaki stand while Ryusei was playing Gundam Breaker right next to her. Nadeshiko puffed her cheek in anxiety, waiting for the conversation to be done. Hopefully she wouldn't realize her crush was about to hit on another girl, or else...

"Hey, where're you going?" Duffer asked, following Hideki. "Something the matter, buddy?" Duffer, much like his writer, didn't seem to understand the complex love triangles that were in every single piece of japanese media since someone put the pen to paper. Kotemon sighed and followed, having honestly wanted alone time with some digimon to have a discussion with things on its own intellectual level. Instead, it would be dealing with Duffer's japanese version's personal issues. "Dude, something wrong?" Duffer asked again, grabbing the boy's shoulder.
"Duffer, we shouldn't be following him, he seems to have his own problems." "Well I'm not leaving him alone, that's how the killers pick their victims." Duffer said, Kotemon sighing at the partner's unique brand of logic. Kotemon waved goodbye to the others before they could leave their view in the crowd of people.

Mana cheered with a soundly 'YAY' as Amano gave her his autograph and waved him goodbye. What a nice guy.
The conversation kept going more or less normaly, at least until Hideki tried to guess the species of Ryoko's digimon. It was time for her loyal fangirl to jump into action! "Well, he doesn't exactly turn into a Kamen Rider or into a Gundam, but into a giant dinosaur man that uses rockets to attack and has a belt with a lots of nifty stuff and cosmic energy! You have to see Ryusei-san in action some day! It's really a sight to see!".
Then, the boy greeted her back, and she just smiled in return. Having old friends around was one of the best things to have, yet, out of the blue, it seemed that Hideki had grown nervous and started to get away since she had said the compliments about Ryoko. There was only one reason for that; could it be? Could it actually be that Hideki was... mad at her? Without thinking for a second about the ongoing coversation in the group, she ran straight to him, with Ayaka and Penny behind her. "Wait, Hideki-san!" she told as she caught him, placing a hand on his shoulder "Are you angry at me for something I said? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to offend you, I swear!".

And we'll never be royals. Skylar just kind of phased out as Ryoko went on and on about how they could all go shopping and dine out. Actually, it might be nice to hang out with some people besides those on the soccer team...but what was she thinking? Ryoko was a super star and...
"If thar's anythin' ya wanna say, juz be honest to yo'self n say it."
Skylar blinked when she felt Ryoko's breath against her cheek from the whisper. The blond just inched back a little, narrowing her eyes defensively, as she always seemed to be. "I am always honest," the blonde retorted with a pout.
Her azure eyes traced after the Hideki boy who had a blank look on his face then turned to walk away, but Mana caught him on the shoulder. This could be interesting. Thirteen-year-olds proclaiming their love. "Oh hey Mana, where is your boyfriend today? Does his name start with a C or something?"

Hideki vaguely heard Ryoko's voice say his name, but he figured it was yet another trick of his mind. Then he heard his name several times before just started putting their hands on him. "No guys, seriously, I'm fine. Completely fine. Absolutely, positively.." Hideki hated it when people got caught up in drama. If he was having a personal crisis, it was his to deal with. "I just.. I dunno. It's getting a little crowded over there, you know? Mana-chan, you didn't offend me or anything, don't worry about it.. and I'm not going to be murdered or anything, Duffer. I've got Chikurimon with me, and let's see someone stand up to.." there came a burp from deep within the boy's bag, interrupting him. He knew that Chikurimon would be of little use in a fight, but a ten pound metal ball with spikes always makes a nifty melee weapon. "..a very heavy bludgeoning spiked ball."
He would have turned to face his friends, but their hands were actually on both of his shoulders.. so he spoke to them with his back turned. Plus, it made him feel like kind of a badass.. I've gotta stop watching so much television. "It's all good, guys. Everything's good, I'll catch you guys around." He raised his arm to wave without thinking, accidentally knocking Duffer's arm off of his shoulder. "You guys have fun, seriously." He raised his voice, "I'll see ya' around, Ryoko-sama!" Suddenly he was really glad his back was turned, lest anyone see the twinge of pain that covered his face.

"Ok then... Bai?" Ryoko blinked as she waved at him. Hideki then suddenly ran off after Mana's fangirling mode. Well, that was weird, especially after he suddenly called Ryoko with "Ryoko-sama", just like Mana did. Ryoko scratched her head in confusion. What's up with that boy? Is he shrinking violet or something? Ryoko shrugged once again, trying to comprehend what was up with Hideki. "I think he's juz shocked after ya spoiled evrythin'." Ryoko said. "It's not like I dun like it, but I think he needs time to adjust himself after feelin' betrayed from da revelation. Again, it's no yo' fault, n it's no one's fault."Ryoko then told Mana about his meeting with Hideki, "I met him in Gunpla shop near ma house days ago, 'n he seems like a... y'know, yo' regular geek. I know he's a bit shy n nervous, but actually, he's a cool dude. I'm sure he'll overcome it." Ryoko told the brunette. Sky then retorted that she was being honest... or not really. Ryoko just smiled and gave her a pat on her shoulder. "I believe ya, Mademoiselle." Ryoko said to her. "I mean, thar's many kewl guys around me, but sum of 'em juz dun try to be honest to themselves."Sky then mentioned about Mana's boyfriend. Charles? It might be an old story, but still, she still considered Charles as her boyfriend. Although, she still wanted to be her girlfriend, but first she had to deal with Sky first. "Pssst! Dun be too loud, hun! Or else she's embarrassed!" Ryoko warned Sky, but alas, it could be too late. And then there was live performance. An idol group consisted of seven girls wearing belt buckle toys were starting their performance. That's right, they were Kamen Rider Girls, singing their newest song, "Believe in My Flush". (Cue BGM: Believe in My Flush by Kamen Rider Girls) "Oh yeah! Dat's Kamen Rider Girls!" Ryoko cheered as she pointed at the performing girls. "'n thar's Nao-chan!" She then pointed at a performing girl with brown hair and waved braided ponytail, wearing a blue tanktop under black all over, as well as the belt buckle toy with spade mark, Blay Buckle. She was Nao Yasuda, one of Kamen Rider Girls' personnel, and one of Ryoko's coworkers in Kamen Rider Blade V-Cinema filming. She would play as Ai Mako, AKA Kamen Rider Glaive II, Alice Tsubaki / Kamen Rider Blade II's best friend and classmate turned love interest. Now after this live performance was probably her turn to duet with Amano. In the meantime, she had something to check. "Okay then. I wanna check out da new stuffs in Yasu's shop. Wanna join, Mana-chin? If ya dun wanna juz tell me wutcha wanna buy." Ryoko invited Mana.

At Skylar's question, Mana's expression became immediately sad; she hadn't seen Charles in... ages. Not since him/Nightspellmon/Chaoskimeramon/whatever had murdered a police officer in cold blood and she had passed out. To be honest with herself, she was even a little afraid of him, but she had searched for him anyway. Yet, it seemed as if the boy had just vanished from the face of the universe. "I-I don't know, Sky-san. To be honest, I don't know if he's still alive but wait... do you know him? I don't remember having told you about him. How do you know?".
Deciding to let the matter drop, she concentrated on the boy in front of her. He was giving her his back, but she'd try to get him out of the sadness he felt. Trying didn't hurt, after all. "You sure that you will be alright, Hideki-san?" she said sighing, but finally smiled at him "Alright, I trust that'd feel better in some time, but maybe we you get better, we can maybe go and buy some gunplas together at Yasu's shop! I'm sure that'll have a lot of fun and you look to be a pretty knowledgable guy!".
Speaking of the devil, Ryoko just talked about the very same thing, even inviting her to go along. "See? You can come alongside us if you want! You know, I'm not really good at assembling them due to being a little clumsy with my hands, but maybe you can help me build it! I'm sure we'll have tons of fun together!" she then turned to face Ryoko "Hideki-san can come with us, right?".
OOC: Goomba told me to skip him.

And we'll never be royals. Skylar watched with a bored expression as Hideki mumbled again, trying to reassure everyone he was okay, before melting away into the crowd. While Mana and Ryoko stood there obviously worried over the boy, Sky could really care less. It was just one less kid getting on her nerves.
Her cool gaze flicked over when Ryoko shushed her, but it was too late. Mana's honey-colored eyes turned sad. "I-I don't know, Sky-san. To be honest, I don't know if he's still alive but wait... do you know him? I don't remember having told you about him. How do you know?"
Sky's lips twitched slightly, but her expression remained fairly blunt. She glanced over at Ryoko and back at the younger girl. "I've...just heard about you guys at school. Ya know, how you both were a cute couple." Was she really feeling bad for what she had just said to Mana? Man, she was getting soft, it almost seemed to be happening around the same time that she got her Digivice and....
Just then, some girls seemingly popped out of nowhere and began singing some kind of song. So now Ryoko had a quartet following her?
Ryoko then invited Mana along to go to some "Yasu" guys Gunpla shop. The blonde teen had no idea what that was, but she had a feeling it had something to do with those toys they were giving away. She rolled her sky-blue eyes and waved dismisisively. "Since you guys are gonna go play with toys, I'm out. I'll be back when the winners are announced."
