Name: Connor Scott
Alias: No nickname, but Connor prefers that.
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Height: 5ft 8
Weight: 165lbs
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Birth Date: 19/10/1996
Birth Place: Cape Town – South Africa
Western Horoscope: Libra – The Scales - Balance
Eastern Zodiac: The Rat - Element of Water - 1st Trine - Yang
Skills/Talents:
He has a great general knowledge (not much help in the digital world). He’s also a fast writer and typist. His perfectionist and slightly OCD nature gives him an extra edge on his surroundings and he’s usually very good at spotting things that are out of place, given he’s away from too many distractions. Provided it doesn't involve too many numbers, he can usually pick up and learn skills fairly quickly.
Personality:
Connor is driven by a sense of perfectionism and mild OCD. He wants to be the best, not to be better than others but because he will not be satisfied with his work unless it is that way. He is an introvert, but is by no means shy. He keeps his friends close but does enjoy his alone time which he spends trying to broaden his knowledge of anything possible. It is the combination of his perfectionist nature and his constant lust for knowledge that gave him the desire to become historian and/or journalist. His dream is to discover and document all the truths of the world, as they are, and share findings in a way that is easy to understand so that others like him might be able to learn them.
He might come off as a bit of a geek to others, as would be true for one filled with knowledge and a love of sharing it. The topics of discussion Connor finds uninteresting are far and few, for this reason he’s often quite easy to talk to. His disadvantage is his difficulty working with maths and purely logical concepts, knowledge may be his virtue but numbers are his vice. It was this fact that drove him away from his former dream of becoming some kind of scientist (he was originally interested in space travel and astro-physics… you can imagine how well that worked out for him).
His pursuit of knowledge has in a way, forced his interaction with technology and despite it’s logical and at times mathematical nature, due to his constant interaction with computers and gadgets he has developed an above average understanding of how it all works (mostly due to his curiosity). This is the one exception to his poor 'sciency math' abilities.
His wide range of knowledge has given him a good sense of self confidence (given that he has read about a given situation at least 3 times before having experienced it). As such, he is a lot more sociable than one might expect for the bookworm type (as mentioned earlier, he does make sure to keep a network of friends, even if he does enjoy the company of himself).
Finally, Connor has a love of telling stories. Any way he can keep others interesting in the knowledge he wants to share with the world, he will use. He has a soft spot for fantasy settings because of the inherent mystery around their various creatures and concepts of magic. He avoids science fiction that uses facts he knows to be false because such things irritate him. His quest for knowledge and stories to tell has earned him a ‘neutral’ rather than a ‘good’ alignment. He has a sense of morals, but should he need to delve into a grey area to learn something new or test his theories, he won’t let those morals hinder him too much.
Appearance:
[/b]
Alternate Outfit:
Slightly taller than most (but only just), and somewhat skinny. His head is a mess of thick brown hair that springs out all over. He keeps a pair of eyes (a mix between green and brown) behind an inconspicuous pair of square glasses with a thin brown frame. He doesn’t really need them, but the optometrist told him his slightly short-sighted eyes could get worse if he didn't use them and he’s the type to get paranoid. He tends to wear baggy clothes, thick jackets and long pants with lots of pockets. He also avoids collared shirts like the plague opting for t-shirts finding them far more comfortable (and possibly avoiding the ‘well-dressed nerd’ stereotype, though he’d never admit it).
Despite this, in the digital world his clothes take on the more ‘Indiana Jones’ style look with open neck collared shirts, a rugged jacket at times and a pair of hiking boots. Generally well ventilated and white/khaki coloured stuff that would suit your everyday adventurer.
Fancy clothes are generally a no-no for Connor as he worries he will ruin them and shiny shoes that no-longer shine irritate the heck out of him. So he sticks to trainers and the like, generally very casually dressed unless a specific occasion tells him to dress otherwise.
Personal History:
Born and raised in South Africa, Connor often felt out of touch with the rest of the world. Movies were set in ‘America’ and occasionally the UK, those that weren’t still always had actors with different accents and left him to see that as ‘the rest of the world’. Beyond fiction, he also found it incredibly frustrating to be behind in terms of technology and the like in his country. His appreciation for art and the outdoors came about as a compromise when he grew impatient with slow internet connections and lack of availability of technological items/gadgets he wanted.
This newly discovered hobby drove him to pick up an art class in his last two years of high-school and while he’s not the greatest, he’s not too bad at pencil sketches. One thing to note is the way Connor always keeps a ‘field journal’ of sorts. It’s kind of like a diary, but a tad more dramatic as he always insists on filling it with interesting things that he’s learned too. Since the addition of sketching was added to his arsenal, he tries to incorporate a sketch of something unique from time to time as well. He uses this journal as a means of improving his writing (and artistic ability at times) ability on a day to day basis.
He also discovered a certain amount of tranquillity in taking a weekend to camp in a forest or on a mountain somewhere, loving the ready availability of plant and animal life for him to note down in his journal. He also enjoys the chance to put his survival skills to the test, without the inherent danger of actually having to survive. It’s on these camping trips he takes that he often regrets never having joined the Scouts.
While he was grateful to fate for this chance to discover two other sides of himself he did not know where there, he was still frustrated regarding his access to technology (which was his primary window to world outside his hometown).
It was this very reason that drove him to uproot and leave South Africa. While he could appreciate the historical value of the land he lived in, he had grown a desire to head out toward a country where his progress would not be hindered by old technology and import tax. This was why when he found an opportunity to take a gap year in Japan after finishing high-school he jumped at it.
Backpack Contents:
General a simple satchel or small day-pack containing essential supplies.
Digivice:
Model: D3 Digivice
Colour: Standard pattern/layout, green grip, white body.
Features:
Partner’s Name: Cipher
Default Form: Champion (Human World) or Rookie (Digital World)
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Skills/Talents:
Mild psychic power growing stronger with each form, initially a basic telepathic communication is possible. By rookie stage he has basic telekinetic power but unless otherwise specified, it cannot truly function as an attack.
This ability is a minor physical manifestation of Connor and Cipher’s shared desire for knowledge.
Personality:
Easily excited, eager to please others. Cipher shares his partner’s desire to learn all the secrets of the world, though Cipher’s comes more from an eternal curiosity as opposed to his partner’s perfectionism. Unlike Connor, Cipher has no issue with leaving work unfinished provided he gets some benefit out of it. Cipher loves to broaden his life with new experiences be they in the form of knowledge or living through actual events. Generally friendly, one could say he could benefit from a touch of scepticism as he tends to see more good in the world than bad. Cipher often has to rely on Connor’s more down to Earth nature to know who to trust.
Cipher adopts a vigilante-like stance on taking action, hence his Chaotic Good alignment. Where to him Connor is an anchor making him see what's wrong with other people, Cipher is an anchor to Connor ensuring he keeps his 'Chaotic Neutral' morals in check.
Cipher and Connor operate well as a team depending on their objective. Cipher works well to defend Connor when he may wish to explore a dangerous part of the digital world or research something in a dangerous area. Connor works well to provide reconnaissance information to Cipher should his vigilante-ish desires take hold.
Finally, Cipher is a bit of a show-off. Further unlike Connor, this digimon does not see the problem with derailing a carefully planned scenario by yelling "LEEROY JENKINS!" and bursting into the fray in a blast of confetti, provided it would not seal his party's doom. He is a performer and has a love of grabbing the attention of others with flashy alterations of his attacks or simple magic tricks. (You can imagine his joy of discovering his champion form to be a wizardmon...). He can stick to plan and protocol should it be important, but he just prefers not to, to live life by his own terms.
Appearance:

Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Type: Slime
Attacks:
BubbleBubble – Spits out bubbles of acid. It might turn your skin a little red. Nothing fatal, but even little burns hurt.
Digivolves To:
Appearance:
In-Training: Wanyamon
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Type: Lesser
Attacks:
Smiley Chomp – Doing his best to look adorable and harmless, Wanyamon gets close to his target before chomping down with his sharp teeth.
Tail Flail – Hardening the fur on his tail, Wanyamon swings said appendage at his foe creating a bludgeoning force to be reckoned with. As far as fluffy tails go anyway.
Digivolves To:
Appearance:
Rookie: Strabimon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Type: Wizard/Demon Man
Attacks:
Sun Claw – Creates a bright flash of light (disorientating one who might be looking directly at his claws) which imbue his claws with light energy amplifying the power of the next swing of each claw. Virus types would take more of a beating from this attack where vaccine types would find hardly any difference in damage from a normal claw swipe.
Windmeld - He allows his body do go limp save for a single limb while placing all his energy into the one limb. Strabimon then flings himself, propelled by that one limb, to a location (be it empty space or an enemy). This move functions like a far more powerful martial attack (punch or kick or headbut, depending on what he is flung by) and also allows him to move faster, but while moving this way he can only move in a direct straight line towards his target.
Light Nail – Forges a solid bolt of pure light energy in his hand and fires it at his target like a dart from a blowgun.
Digivolves To:
Appearance:
Champion: Wizardmon
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Nature Spirits/Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Wizard/Demon Man
Attacks:
Thundercall – Fires a bolt of lightning from the tip of his staff. This arcs out and strikes an enemy and can chain-jump to hit up to 3 others (doing less damage with each jump made) for a total of 4 hits.
Dream Vision – Wizardmon raises his staff which fires a small magical spore nearby enemies, this spore moves toward their location at the time of the attack, being hit by the spore allows Wizardmon to alter their perception of reality causing powerful hallucinations and illusions to make his opponents see the world as Wizardmon chooses. The more subtle or plausible the illusion/hallucination, the harder it is to see through it. Each effect/illusion lasts 2 posts + however long it takes the target to realize it is fake (provided they have not already) after that. Illusions do not deal damage. A single post cooldown affects this ability.
Astral Sphere – Flings a sphere of crackling magical energy at his enemy. This can be charged up to be larger and therefore more powerful. Contact with the sphere will knock-back the opponent as well as doing damage (proportional to the size of the sphere, faster speed of casting will result in smaller size/less power).
Eyes of Arcana – He levitates in the air, a faint aura about him, eyes aglow with bright purple flames as Wizardmon uses his arcane powers to temporarily unlock the secrets of his mind. In this mode his other attacks become stronger and his passive telekinesis becomes strong enough to use as an attack (ranged, slightly more powerful than a melee hit from Wizardmon’s staff) as well as deflect (1 champion attack, 2 rookie attacks, or reduce damage from 1 Ultimate attack). Reaching this deflection limit or using any attack other than a telekinetic strike will bring Wizardmon back to normal self. 2 post cooldown.
Digivolves To:
Appearance:
Ultimate: Mistymon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Virus Busters
Type: Warrior/Magic Warrior
Attacks:
[Passive] Arcane Mind – Mistymon, being the powerful mage he is, can now use his telekinetic abilities to a greater effect. He has the strength to levitate his own body and fly around battle at the same speed he would find himself walking and running. Furthermore he has the strength to block/divert a single ultimate attack or two champion attacks or three rookie attacks. Reaching this limit would prevent him from blocking any more attacks for 4 posts and disable all attacks other than the use of his sword for 1.
Ignus Arma Liberum/Reditum (Flame Weapon Release/Return) – Following the wizard warrior’s incantation, the many interlocking pieces of his flaming sword’s blade unfold and become a whip instead of a sword allowing Mistymon to use his weapon at greater speed and range. Using the same attack he can return his weapon to sword form and gain more power at the expensive of speed range.
Sphere of the Archmage – Flings a sphere of arcane energy at his foe that explodes (2m radius) on impact damaging surrounding foes and stunning or slowing the original target. Chargeable for greater effect. Mistymon can fire one sphere from each hand.
Arcane Arrow - Mistymon passes the crystal on each hand by each other and from their point of first contact, draws a line in the air that becomes a bow. He can fire a single, high-powered arrow from this bow which will burn the target even setting smaller targets on fire.
Dreamsphere – Mistymon throws a sphere that grows to have a 20m maximum diameter (can appear as a sphere or dome, depending on if it’s on the ground or not). From the outside one cannot see anything but a bright white dome, once inside it appears as though one is floating in an infinite white space (this is a mere illusion, stepping outside the dome would end return one’s vision to normal). Within this white space one will see (or not see) anything Mistymon chooses. Illusions cannot physically harm opponents, unlike Wizardmon’s ‘Dream Vision’ those affected by this attack cannot see through the illusions (unless they step outside the dome, but once inside it will be hard to find the edge again). The sphere will remain stable for 3 posts before deteriorating. This cannot affect the same opponent more than once per battle.
Digivolves To:
Appearance:
Mega: Anubismon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Virus Busters
Type: Wizard/God Man
Attacks:
[Passive] Divine Soul – The arcane power of his previous forms is no more as by mega level his power has transcended into the use of divine magics. Anubismon’s digi-soul is brimming with divine radiance manifesting is his masterful control of his own mind. He may now block attacks as with [Arcane Mind] but of one level higher and instead of a cooldown he simply can no longer block attacks when this limit is reached, furthermore he finds his attacks deal extra damage to virus types.
Call of the Devourer! Soul of Ammit! – Borrows the power of Ammit, the soul eater (a spirit who destroys evil souls). Using this power, Anubismon forfeits all other attacks for a radical increase in movement and attack speed. His melee strikes are amplified by the powers of Ammit, his claws burn with purple flame. This lasts 2 post and has a 2 post cool down.
Glyph of Light – A single glyph is present upon Anubismon's right paw, raising it will see it reproduced in the air in front of the raised paw. From this now glowing glyph a beam of energy bursts forth damaging all who cross it's path.
Signet of the Crow – Raising his left hand Anubismon reveals a another glyph, this is reprocuded in the air in front of his paw and from this glyph, thousands of needle sharp feathers fly out toward their target. They can move single file to attack a single target or all emerge from the glyph at once in a volley to attack multiple enemies.
Seal of the Ancients – Draws the square base of a pyramid with beams of light. Another beam extends from each corner heading upward to form a glowing pyramid. Any foes that end up inside this pyramid remain trapped while being blasted by beams of raw energy coming from each of the five corners. This attack can damage multiple enemies at once, provided they are all inside the pyramid and lasts for a single post. Has a 2 post cooldown.
[Finisher] Scythe of Anubis – Concentrates his power into a his hand to will a magic scythe into existence which is scaled proportionately to his opponent. With all his might he swings his scythe, cleaving through his opponent with supernatural force before throwing the scythe into the air for it to come back down as a heavenly spear to obliterate his foe. The immense power of this attack, the scythe and skyfalling lance are owed to the fact that Anubismon put all of his remaining energy into this one final attack. As a result of this Anubismon must revert to his rookie form after the attack to avoid passing out or damaging himself.
Digivolves To:
Biomerge: Kuzuhamon
ERROR: DATA NOT FOUND
Digimental/Virtue: Compassion
Appearance:
Armour Champion: Dorugamon
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Dragon's Roar/Nature Spirits
Type: Beast/Dragon/Animal
By putting aside his desire to ensure his own perfection and rather ensure the wellbeing of others, Connor can learn compassion. This is a virtue already strongly present within Cipher, perhaps his strongest. As such, by sharing this virtue and using the power of the digimental, Cipher may digivolve into the more bestial Dorugamon. Dorugamon is the champion form Cipher would have become had he not be partnered with a human tamer (or perhaps just one less influential than Connor).
Attacks:
Skyblades - With a beat of each wing, Dorugamon sends two high-powered 'blades' of wind toward his foe.
Draconic Iron-Claws - Using his metal-dragon powers, Dorugamon coats each claw on his paws (feet as well) with iron, hardening and sharpening them. This provides a substantial attack bonus to swipes or jabs made with his claws. After a claw attack is made the iron is retracted from that claw. This attack has no cooldown but cannot be used in rapid succession.
Metal Breath - Dorugamon forms an iron sphere in his mouth which he launches at his foe the way a 'normal' dragon might spew fire. By default this attack launches a single large and fast moving iron sphere but given extra time to 'concentrate' on the attack, Dorugamon may instead produce multiple smaller iron spheres that can be 'machine-gun-spat' at foes.
Rage of the Elder-Dragon - Calling upon his draconic power, Dorugamon fires a burning beam of pure energy from the crystal in his forehead at his foes.
Digimental/Virtue: Credence
Appearance:
Armour Ultimate: FlaWizardmon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Wizard/Demon Man
Connor's willingness to let go of reason and his desire to fully understand everything, putting his faith in Cipher, allows the pair to access the power of the Digimental of Credence. This allows Cipher to become a version of Wizardmon that is not as focused on patience and the arcane and more about speed, power and perhaps a little chaos. Oh, and lots of fire.
Attacks:
Dread Candles - Creates a single flame upon each of his fingers, he can manipulate each of them individually or all at the same time. Each 'candle' remains floating about him until they make impact with an object or enemy. When they hit something they will explode toward the thing they hit. FlaWizardmon cannot create more dread candles until he has expended the previous five and cannot have more than five at a time.
Boom Cloud – Ignites the air around him creating a blast of fire in a sphere having a 2m radius. He can create this with himself as the centre or, create a smaller cloud (1m radius) up to 5 meters away from him.
Magic Ignition – Ignites the heads of his two matchstick staffs which burn furiously dealing additional flame damage to his foes when he strikes them with the either staff. The red staff functions as a melee weapon in this mode while the blue staff (usually kept holstered in his belt when this attack is not active) allows him to fling fire balls from the tip of the staff. (Duration: 3 posts, 2 post cooldown).
Martial Blaze – Ignites a body part (head, foot, hand, etc.) of his own and magically flings said body part at his enemy. He deals damage as though a more powerful punch, kick or head-butt attack (due to the fact that he is magically flinging himself at the enemy) as well as additional damage from the flames.
Flamerunner – Phases out of reality partially while sprinting at an un-natural speed. His spectral form burns anything it touches and leaves a trail of flaming skid-marks behind him where his feet would have been. He cannot take damage while in this form nor deal damage aside from passing through an enemy. If he passes through an enemy or object he returns to normal (this includes an enemy attack passing through him). This otherwise lasts 2 posts and has a 1 post cooldown.

OPTIONAL EVOLUTIONARY STAGES
