-Name: Gladius
-Default Form: GladiXV-mon (Adult/Champion)
-Gender: Male
-Alignment: Neutral Good
-Skills/Talents:
Equipment Maintenance: A Knight's on his own right, GladiXV-mon is well trained and practiced at keeping various types of equipment in top condition. He knows how to sharpen swords, repair armor, and tools, and has a keen eye for weapons quality, allowing him to discern the useful equipment from the useless ones.
Master Swordsman: Mastedramon's name speaks for itself.
Unfettered: The harsh training he underwent under Dukemon's guidance and his naturally hardy temperance gifted GladiXV-mon with great physical and emotional temperance. As such, he tends to roll with the punches and low blows of life rather well.
Journeyman: Having received training to traverse the entire digital world, GladiXV-mon knows how to read maps, find or make shelters while in the sticks, correctly utilize tools such as compasses and find his way by identifying constellations, Most of which he has memorized. Working as an Archaeologist has helped him test this skills.
Archaeologist: Something of a rookie Archaeologist, GladiXV-mon specializes in the exploration of ruins and dungeons, and is quite versed at identifying traps and drawing up maps. He can also recognize a variety of ancient historical items and trinkets.
-Inventory:
Red Bandanna > Red Muffler: A beautiful piece of clothing made from a torn piece his master's Cape. It serves no purpose other than occasionally reinvigorating Squire's spirits, filling him with determination. It changes shape with him as he evolves.
In his champion form, GladiXV-mon, it takes on the form of a small cloak/muffler.
Fluorescent Lantern: An item he acquired during a little adventure under the sewers. He bought it from a suspiciously looking Numemon salesman. As it was acquired during his first adventure, he has kept it with him. He regularly changes its batteries to make sure it works when he needs it to.
-Personality:
Courage: As a young Digimon, Squire-Veemon was raised as a Knight's apprentice, and has since a young age been taught to value the ways of valor and gallantry. Now an Adult Digimon, a Champion Knight of Valor, GladiXV-mon, the Knight better understands the virtues of Courage his master tried to impart upon him. He knows Courage is not to be without fear but to go beyond fear in order to do what's right. However, it is not in his nature to back away from dangerous situations, even when not doing so is more foolish than courageous.
Love & Friendship: Gladi-XVmon has grown quite much. Perhaps a bit too much would say Dukemon if asked. The dragon tends to be the target for all kinds of attention, and unfortunately, is a bit slow to realize this. Unfortunately, he appears to flirt unconsciously most of the time, and his naivety and social clumsiness can be... suggestive.
He still greatly admires Digimon of obvious heroic qualities and seeks their companionship above all else. GladiXV-mon's understanding of friendship has grown alongside with him, and he has grown to value friendship more deeply. There's a great difference in the way he treats and deals with his friend and the way he does with an acquaintance.
Knowledge: Age has brought with it a more mellow and calm mindset to the Knight, and with it, a greater interest in learning. His curiosity has not changed, but his willingness to spend a couple of minutes or an hour reading a book has. Though not particularly interested in reading any book he can get his hands on (in fact, the amount of books he's actually interested in is still fairly small), he's better informed now than he was before, and occasionally engages in reading books on Archaeological discoveries (or Ancient Legends. Really, just anything that may hold off his thirst for adventure) to pass time.
Honesty: GladiXV-mon greatly values honesty, and believes it is the best policy most of the time. Experiences in the past, however, have forced him to rely on swift lies and bluffs to do the right thing, so he understands there's a time and place for everything. That said, his affinity for honesty makes him a rather bad liar; he's slightly better as a bluffer, though experience so far has his success rate at 50/50.
Purity: Though an adult, GladiXV-mon is still rather innocent in speech and demeanor. This innocence is shown mostly in his inability to see romantic interest, his great curiosity, and his light tendency to misinterpret things such as jokes and sarcasm. It also tends to show in the bluntness of his words.
Hope: GladiXV-mon is a wide-eyed idealist; full of hopes for the future and possessing dreams of greatness. His views were challenged greatly upon stepping out of the Golden City; things he had been raised to believe as the one truth were turned on their heads and examined in ways he would have preferred left alone. Humans being the main example. At the moment, he's still somewhat weary of humans, understanding his friend's words but not being quite sure what to make of them.
Corruption: Living a somewhat sheltered life while training under his master, GladiXV-mon is ignorant to the worst the Digital World has to offer. He has not been corrupted by the cruelness of the world yet and remains as pure as a regular Digimon can be.
Personal History:
Squire-Veemon, or rather, FerroChicomon was born from a Digi-egg that had digitized within an abandoned grove deep within the forests of Eldoradimon. From the moment he came to be, the first sight to greet his innocent eyes was that of a gigantic structure; it was covered in rust, and moss, and seemingly consumed by the flora of the forest. Taller than any building, the structure seemed to command his attention, and looking upon it brought inside the small dragon a deep sense of nostalgia and longing.
Ignorant to the world beyond his small grove, FerroChicomon made his home within the forest. A river was found close by, and the bushes around his grove all offered him with berries to eat. No other Digimon ever appeared before him; he didn't know it, but the massive structure drove away those few who could wish him harm.
That is, until one day a Digimon did appear. He was tall. Much taller than FerroChicomon, towering over him by dozens of feet. Yet, the little dragon felt no reason to fear him, for the large Digimon gazed upon him with kindness in his gaze.
The larger Digimon, a powerful knight who had found his way through the forest to the grove, recognized the structure for what it really was: A titanic, impossibly large blade. Even with his mighty strength, one look at it and he knew he would never be able to draw it. For he could tell it was not a matter of strength; this sword had already chosen its wielder; it was merely waiting to be drawn.
He took FerroChicomon with him. The little dragon did not protest; though he had lived his entire short life within the grove, he was curious by nature and wanted to see the rest of the world.
The meeting drove FerroChicomon to evolve; he became PageChibimon, the Knight's apprentice, and Squire. His Master moved them to the city of Eldoradimon, were he used what currency he had to buy a humble home. In this home, PageChibimon began his training under his master to become a Knight. His goal was simply to become strong enough to explore the digital world on his own.
His Master's? To see him grow into a Digimon capable of wielding the Titanic Blade.
