One Of Those Days (Alicia/Elliot & Isaac) (H Fraction Hunt)

Isaac looked down at the ground, blushing in frustration as the squealing began. He didn't enjoy looking like a stupid demon muppet very much. He wanted to look cool! Like Alicia's form, for example. She towered over the duo still, and got to look like a badass T-Rex knight. What was there to complain about?
"Why would we laugh? You look so cool!" Apparently, Elliot concurred. He smiled warmly at the girl, adding "It's okay. Isaac worried about how he looks all the time. It's a lot easier to not worry about it." He hoped his reassurance would help Alicia out as much as hers helped motivate him. He then stepped back a little, readying himself in a sort of catchers' stance. When the plan started getting into gear, he'd be needed to help keep things going smoothly.
"So, um, how should I carry you up there?" Isaac asked, confused. Take her hand? No, that was way too unstable. Hold her up like a ballerina? He'd get crushed in a second! Grab behind the back like a full nelson? That'd give her too little use of her arms without risking breaking the hold, and she might need those arms to start eroding at the ceiling in the first place. "Once you're ready, it'll be time to go sky-high. Shadow Ascent!" A small cloud of black followed Isaac as he hovered slightly off the ground, waiting for Alicia. Once she got the proper positioning he'd take off into the sky, timing to see how long he'd be able to stay up before the magic ended up giving out.
Meanwhile, one stop down the road, Ferrus and Ulysses got off of their Trailmon. They proceeded to walk down the tunnels, keeping their backs flat to the walls so that they wouldn't be mowed down by an incoming train. "Are you sure this is safe, boss?" Ferrus asked, very hesitant.
"Oh, of course it will be. I'm inside of you, after all." To say this was an uneven friendship certainly wouldn't be inaccurate. The Mekanorimon let out a deep sigh at Ulysses' response, and then continued his shimmying down the tunnel. By Ulysses' calculations, they would have arrived at the location of the spirit just in time for the victory celebration!
Of course, Ulysses' calculations were oftentimes rather wrong.

Alicia returned the smile nervously, even though it was hidden under her helm, then nodded over to Isaac at the question. She already had an idea in mind.
"What I need to break the Spirit's prison down is pretty self-explanatory once you know the name, Corrosion Fang. So beyond enough freedom to reach, I just need one arm to be able to pull it out or catch it, which ever happens to be the case. So... How about you hold on to me like this."
With some adjustments, she had gotten one of Isaac's arms under her own and held up tight like a half nelson, and the other around her waist. Nodding to herself she chuckled a bit. "Right then, this feels pretty solid. Take us up then!" And with that the duo was airborne, both Alicia and Isaac counting the time they stayed aloft. It seemed that, as Isaac had noted, the added mass would cut down on the time the magic worked. It would be enough though, Alicia was certain she'd only need one pass.
"Alright... There wasn't really any way to make that not awkward at all, but it looks like we're good to go. Just need to wait for a Trailmon to come around and carry us to our destination and let you recover."
For a hunt, this had a lot of waiting for something to go right in it...
"As I'm sure you've heard plenty of times, patience is a virtue."
"Not now, please." Alicia quipped back quietly. The spirit obliged and went silent at that. And sure enough, a Trailmon would be roaring in shortly. One should hope that poor Mekanorimon, who's only crime is being the minion of a moronic genius, didn't get hurt too badly by his master's bad planning.

Six seconds. That was all Isaac could pull off. As the fatigue started to set in and Isaac found himself hurtling out of the air, Elliot dutifully snapped into action. He leaped up and caught the Impmon, the two sighing in relief as they realized the plan had worked. Against all odds, they could make this work. "Are you still able to fly any?" he asked his brother, curious. Despite the early landing, the black magic still crackled around him. As he set Isaac down, he stepped back and let him try it out.
It took a few seconds of straining, as the fatigue began to ebb away, but soon Isaac was able to get airborne once more. It wasn't as strong of a flight as it was before, the boy's flight path wobbly and uncertain, but he could still pull it off. It seemed the spell still persisted for it's standard time, but Isaac's personal fatigue would make actually keeping aloft harder. That would be important to keep in mind for this mission, where bad timing could spell the difference between success and a bad spill onto the train tracks.
It was a good thing he still had some juice left, too. The train was approaching, and if they were going to get atop it Isaac's remaining flight would come in handy. Once the Trailmon was there, Isaac snapped into action. He grabbed onto Elliot and took off into the sky, the trail of black magic barely fading as he made it onto the backside of the digimon. They hung off of the train, holding out their hands to help pull Alicia up as well. Hopefully she'd be able to follow along with their plan before the Trailmon left, or else they would end up separated for who knows how long.
It'd be a good while before Isaac was up and running again. Thankfully, they would have a lot of time to sit back and enjoy the train ride. That was a courtesy Ferrus and Ulysses weren't offered. As the Trailmon pulled out of its station, the duo was assailed by the bright light of it's eyes. Ferrus moved his hands in front of his face, first to shield his eyes from the light but afterwards to protect himself from the ensuing collision.
Unfortunately, despite his best attempts, he was snagged. The Mekanorimon kicked up sparks as he found himself caught behind a literal rock and hard place, scraped forward by the unstoppable momentum of the Trailmon. By the time the Trailmon moved to it's next station, Ferrus fell to his knees and gingerly nursed a large scrape on his back.
This isn't working. Maybe we should just take the Trailmon like everyone else is.
"And lose the element of surprise? What sort of fool do you take me for? But fine, fine. If you insist." Ferrus' relief was palpable as he pulled himself off of the train tracks and onto the platform, quickly falling in step with everyone else as they headed over to board. Isaac shot him a suspicious look as he entered, but quickly shook the idea. That couldn't have been the same Mekanorimon following them. The one following them was wearing a monocle!
Somewhere, abandoned between the tracks, a fallen monocle glistened.

Nodding to herself, Alicia smirked as the two got up on top. The less time they spent on the trip climbing up, the better. Hopping back a bit, she took a running start. With a hop, she got onto the side of the car and then pushed up, basically running up the short distance to the top and grasping Isaac and Elliot's hands as more of a guide to make sure she didn't fling herself off with her momentum. Safely situated on the roof now, she laid low to bide her time with the brothers.
"I'd like to take a moment to thank you guys. I don't know what I would do if I was trying to get this all on my own. It certainly wouldn't be going this smoothly, that's for sure." the rusty dragon noted, flicking a thumbs up. Really, how ever would she have managed this on her own? No matter how she looked at it, this was a two person job at least. Rustdramon alone just didn't have all the tools needed to do it. On that hand she figured she and Elliot were in similar positions. She wasn't exactly helpless against air borne enemies thanks to Shard Breath, but otherwise she too would've been stuck futilely jumping and waving her arms.
"Once the Trailmon departs again, get ready. We'll see the Spirit before we hit the next station." she continued as a reminder. She looked over and quirked an eyebrow at the banged up Mekanorimon that boarded shortly after her statement, before shrugging her shoulders and suspecting he go into a bad fight and was going somewhere to get fixed up.
Another whistle from the Trailmon signaled that it would be leaving this station, and that the trio had to be ready for their individual parts. "Right, everyone get set!" Following that, Alicia stood herself up and adjusted her poster so Isaac could grab hold of her again and carry her up as soon as it was time.
She knew for certain where it was, and would let Isaac know when she wanted to enact their plan to give them the most amount of time to hang where the Spirit was. She guessed that she'd need at least half their air time, that is three seconds, to corrode the ceiling enough for her to pull the Spirit free.
That didn't leave any real room for error.

"Hey, don't worry about it," Isaac said reassuringly.
"Yeah! We have these powers so we can help people, right? So that's what Isaac and I are gonna do." Elliot added. Maybe Kyaro was right after all. Maybe if he just stayed determined and kept helping out, even in small ways like this, he could be a hero. He wasn't very strong, and he wasn't very smart, but his heart was always in the right place. Was that all it took? Regardless, between the belief Kyaro had in him and the reassurance Alicia was putting in him, alongside the constant support from his big brother, Elliot was really starting to come around on this whole Digimon adventure thing. It probably helped, of course, that there weren't any big, scary monsters trying to kill him.
Isaac held onto Alicia and watched the sky. Any second now, the signal for him to take to the skies would come up. He'd have to be ready to start accelerating, and hope the initial burst from his magic would be enough to overcome the sheer amount of weight being brought into the sky at once. Once more he began to feel the pressure of the idea mounting, but maybe it'd all end up being okay after all. Before all they had were hopes and dreams. Now they had a solid plan, and while his performance would make or break it at least they knew what they were doing. He began walking the group a little closer to the head of the Trailmon, figuring that if they were going to be high in the air it'd be better risking a fall onto the train than a tumble down on the tracks. The last thing he'd want is for safe ground to physically drive away from them.
And then they stood and waited. "Just give me a sign when the artifact's in sight. Think anyone'll be around to overhear?"
Of course, the Trailmon would find that it had an interloper. After boarding the train, the Mekanorimon had promptly unboarded. "That'll bring any eavesdroppers off of our trail," Ulysses explained to the Mekanorimon, who was currently very perplexed.
"Then how do we follow it? I refuse to go through those tunnels again."
"Well, you won't be walking through there, at least. Say, how strong's your grip, again?"
That was how Ferrus was left dangling on the back of the Trailmon, arms stretching out to maximum length to keep him from smashing into the engine. "How long do I have to hold on?" the Mekanorimon asked, a tinge of desperation in his voice.
"Just long enough! Fame and fortune are well within my grasp! Oh, and a bit for you too. Can't forget that." Ulysses was practically salivating as the prize got ever closer to his grip.

"Thanks again..." Alicia mentioned again for the sake of it, practically beaming with her smile now. The rusted dragon then refocused on looking for the moment to give the signal. It should be coming up soon. Any second-
"Now!" Alicia called, and Isaac dutifully surged up with her. She was actually a bit surprised as this was faster then when they'd tested it. Still, if he could manage this and still hit six seconds, it would give them a little extra window. They were right by the glimmering speck where the Spirit laid so quickly.
One...
"And now... Corrosion Fang!" Alicia called, reaching out to bite into the ceiling. Immediately the power of her attack took effect, the section starting to crumble away rapidly. Would it be in time though?
Two...
Three...
Four...
With each passing second dust and fragments that had once been solid stone broke apart, revealing more of the gleaming fraction. It felt like they stretched into eternity, as the knowledge that Isaac's strength would only hold for a few precious moments was quite prominent in her mind. Already they rapidly drew close to his limit.
It was enough. Alicia pulled her jaws away and jammed her free hand in, gripping the Spirit. With a small roar, she yanked it free and held it out for Isaac to see. "Got it! Take us down!" She called. She wanted to tell him to not be afraid to drop her if he needed to, she was certain she could manage the drop if it came to that. There just wasn't enough time to do so though.
Given they only had two seconds otherwise, she figured it was a wise back up to have.
"Well I'll be, all that's left is the landing and this should be a wrap." The Steel Spirit mused to himself, chuckling. He kept his voice down so as to not distract Alicia in the critical moment though. A pity someone was planning on stealing the Spirit for himself though. However would the trio handle that?

"Not like I've got much choice!" Isaac said, straining from the force of gravity pulling down and the force of magic pushing up. Gravity was winning hard as his resolve splintered, and soon the Impmon started to drop like a stone. Naturally, the different air resistances of him and Alicia would separate the two as his grip began to splinter. Elliot snapped into action, the Veemon running backwards to try and catch Isaac as he fell. Closer . . . closer . . . any second now and his brother would be safe in his arms!
As he hopped up to make the catch however, he felt the burning friction of a cable slashing past him. The Veemon worriedly turned his head, just in time to notice a stretched-out mechanical hand wrapped around his brother. However, as the hand retracted, a furious shout rang out from further back on the train. "Fool!" Ulysses screamed, from the safety of his Mekanorimon. It's arms had stretched out to great length, allowing it to stand a suitably far distance from the trio of terror. "You grabbed the wrong one! He's useless to us!"
Oh, it was on. Nobody called Isaac useless. Elliot grabbed onto the hand, digging his tiny heels into the back of the Trailmon and pulling with all of his might. Unfortunately, champions were far stronger than rookies, and the Mekanorimon was now reeling Isaac in like a fish on a hook. Elliot quickly changed plans, wrapping himself around the machine's wrist and punching at its knuckles. Maybe if he hit hard enough he'd drop Isaac!
Good thing Mekanorimon tended to have two hands. Ferrus' other hand lashed out to pick up Elliot, smashing the two brothers' heads into each other like a pair of coconuts before gently setting them down at his feet. He then gingerly stepped over the dazed duo, moving to meet Alicia in fair, one on one combat.
"Hey, uh, you kinda have something I want I think," the Mekanorimon said, only for an aggravated growl to echo from the dome atop his head.
"No, no, Ferrus! Like this!
You! Dragon child! What you have seized is the rightful property of the Great Ulysses! Hand it over, would you kindly?" Judging by what happened next, Ulysses was telling instead of asking. Ferrus' arm slung back, extending to its full length before shooting forward at Alicia. His fingers narrowed down into pinching range as they flew, the Mekanorimon hoping to nab the fragment like a forceps and bring it back right back to Ulysses.

With a loud 'thud!' Alicia landed safely on the roof as Elliot went to catch his exhausted brother. That really did go off without too much of a hitch, didn't it? The rust dragon started to turn to check on the brothers and thank them again for a job well done, only for her pupils to shrink as something grabbed Isaac and reeled him in. Elliot tried hard to free his brother, but a Champion was just too much. That he then smacked them together and set them down to focus on her just sparked fury in her heart.
She may not be related to them by blood, but she had defended her brothers a fair number of times. And now that same protective feeling was welling up in her. This Mekanorimon and his pilot would pay for that.
"I knew something was fishy about them! Alicia! ... Alicia?"
She wasn't paying attention to her Spirit at the moment. Her focus was solely on Ferrus as she settled in, hunched over and snarling.
"You want this Spirit so bad?" She ground out as Ferrus launched it's hands out at her to grab the Fraction they worked so hard for. Pulling her D-Scanner out in her free hand, she jumped over the arms at the last second. "You'll have to pry it from my cold, dead body!" As she landed, she loaded the Fraction into her D-Scanner and held it up high.
"I now cast off this scarred shell!" She called as she began to glow. It seemed this evolution didn't require her to change to human form again. "Spirit Evolution!"
The rusted armor began to crack, letting out more light. Alicia's eyes seemed to 'fade' from their places in the helm, leaving darkness in their wake. In a sudden burst, her shell shattered outward, clattering against the walls and roof of the Trailmon before breaking up into data. Where Rustdramon was a new figure was kneeling, far sleeker then the previous form.
Drawing herself up to her full 6 feet of height, the new Digimon's eyes snapped open. Steam vented briefly from the joints as chains manifested and wrapped around. The white one went to her left arm while the black chain settled on her right shoulder. Leveling a glare at Ferrus, Alicia declared the name of her new form.
"Steeldramon!"
Sighing she raised her arms and flicked her claws in a 'come at me' gesture.
"Try and take it now you numbskull and bucket of bolts."

Ferrus took a few hasty steps back, raising his hands in absolution. "Well, shoot, I guess you have the spirit now," he offered. "Guess there's no sense in us fighting over it. Uh, you thief." However, soon the Mekanorimon shuddered in place. First hastily, and then with almost mechanistic determination, the great robot began to stride forward. This time, instead of the robot's voice, the figure within it seemed to be doing the talking.
"Actually, come to think of it? I'll take you on that offer. Knockout Topspin!" The Mekanorimon's eye frantically looked side from side. Was it mapping a course of attack, or looking for a route of escape? Regardless, the machine lurched forward and began to lunge at Steeldramon, at first bent over for a shoulder tackle but soon straightening and spinning at the dragon. The sharp, jagged corners of the machine would be as spinning blades, making for a surprisingly dangerous move.
Elliot and Isaac slowly began to stir, looking weakly at each other, then at the state of the battle. The Mekanorimon looked really tough. In their separate forms, would they even be able to hurt it? The two tried to run through a battle plan, but for now only one conclusion was coming to mind.
"Fuse?" Elliot asked.
"I hate how it feels, but it might be our one shot," Isaac added. "How the heck are we gonna do it? It's not like we're still thinking about pizza toppings."
"I dunno. The Fusion Dance?"
"Oh no. There is no chance in hell we're doing that."
"But it might work!"
It'd take a while for them to get back into the thick of the battle, if this debate was any indication.

Alicia narrowed her eyes at the odd response she got. Looks like the Mekanorimon was put on manual control and was at the mercy of his rider. Pity, he sounded like he didn't really want to fight. Oh well, she'd figure that mess out later when Ferrus wasn't barreling down the roof at her in a tornado of spiraling death.
Still, she had options out of this. "Bye." she noted and before doing something no sane person would even consider normally. She jumped off the roof of the Trailmon.
"Chain Lasher! Shot Blade!" The Steeldramon called, loosing her white chain and swiping it towards the ceiling. Then she spat a dagger out, which caught the chain and stabbed into the ceiling, anchoring it there for the moment. Using her impromptu chain rope, she swung around behind Ferrus and started to swoop in towards him from behind. Just as the topspin was being stopped to avoid launching them off the front of the Trailmon, the steel dragon would be close enough to deliver a punishing twin kick to the Mekanorimon.
Of course, all this ruckus caught the Trailmon's attention, who tried to look back as best as it could. "H-H-Hey! What's going on back there!? A fight!? What do you think I do for a living, run a blasted pocket monster battle tournament or something!? Cut that out!"
Alicia was a bit focused on fighting Ferrus and Ulysses, so she ignored the poor Train Digimon.

Thankfully, Elliot and Isaac were still paying enough attention to answer the Trailmon. "Sorry, mister!" Elliot shouted, hoping the living train would be able to hear him.
"Some jerk robbed our friend, so we're trying to stop him." It wasn't likely that the Trailmon could help, being on tracks and everything, so Isaac didn't bother asking. Instead he turned his attention back to the battle, just in time to see Alicia do some badass swinging Spider-Man kick onto the Mekanorimon's face. Too busy recovering from it's whirling attack to block, and too dizzied to get into a proper stance, the Mekanorimon was sent falling flat onto its back. At first it didn't seem to get up, but soon the Mekanorimon's arm jerkily reached for a steady surface to brace itself on. Like it or not, Ferrus was getting up for round two.
It's arm swung back, stretching to full size before coiling in on itself. Far from a usual windup punch, the Mekanorimon's hand was twisting until its arm was nearly fully compressed inwards. It then stepped forward and punched, the arm practically shooting forward at Alicia as it uncoiled. "Megaton Punch!" shouted Ulysses as the punch was unleashed, hoping to overwhelm the spirit interloper with a single, forceful strike.
Unfortunately, the machine and rider weren't as alone as they had hoped. "Hey, rustbucket!" Isaac shouted, the Mekanorimon turning it's attention. Whether his punch landed or missed, there was no time to follow up with the boy being such a distraction. He would see that Isaac and Elliot were standing side by side, Elliot looking eager and Isaac trying to hide his slight bit of embarrassment beneath a cool face.
"Fu-"
"Sion-"
"HA!"
Once more, the two brothers denatured into light energy as they pulled off a textbook fusion dance. Where two Digimon once stood, now there was only one, the fused VictoryImpmon. It flashed a peace sign at the Mekanorimon. Was this just an egotistical show of confidence, a combination of Elliot's goofiness and Isaac's ego? Or was it something a bit more relevant? Judging by the flashing energy building up in the amalgam's fingers, it seemed quite a bit like the latter. "Victory Laser!" it shouted, a V-shaped beam firing right into the distracted Mekanorimon's eye. It covered it's face and stumbled back, opening the door for Alicia to recover if hit or strike back if prepared.

"Ooooh, this gonna look so bad on my record! I sure hope my insurance will cover this..." The Trailmon wailed softly, indeed unable to do anything but keep on rolling to the next stop. Seemed he was more concerned about his own troubles then the apparent robbery that was going on but could anyone blame him?
Fortunately, with such an obvious wind-up, Alicia saw the attack coming a mile away. It didn't exactly help too much though. As she shifted to the side to get out of the path, the arm clipped her side and burned her from the sheer wind speed of the coiled strike causing a significant amount of friction. "Gah!" It was much better then the alternative though, a direct hit would've sent her flying, potentially to her doom.
She only barely noticed Elliot and Isaac fusing their Digimon forms together into VictoryImpmon, and quirked an eyebrow in surprise, before passing it off and refocusing on the battle. The brief moments there allowed her to recover, so she was already primed to engage once the fusion Digimon provided her a much appreciated opening.
"Rending Claws!" she yelled as she charged in, wildly swiping at the machine with her claws. Given it was caught unawares, there was nothing it could do as she struck, starting to wear down Ferrus' metal body. Three swipes was all she dared to make, pushing back as she expected Ulysses to start making the Mekanorimon flail its arms force her away. She was going to leave a parting gift though.
"Shot Blade!" she called again, spitting out several daggers at Ferrus. Hopefully if any of them hit, she could later use them to further tear the machine Digimon apart.

"Don't worry. We'll protect you!" Bit of misplaced priorities there, eh Elliot? Not that it mattered to the boy. They were heroes, right? And heroes had to help everyone, even talking trains.
Ferrus didn't see the rending claws coming. How could he? Gashes spread across the Mekanorimon's body, most of them harmful but not too debilitating. Unfortunately, the slash where he was previously hit by the Trailmon ended up opening up a bad slice, a few sparking wires dangling out of the machine. Upon noticing the injury, Ulysses began freaking out. If Ferrus bit the dust, he'd be vulnerable! And his grand reveal would be spoiled, wasted on such an ignoble attack! It was as if none of these inconsiderate fools cared for perfectly good theatrics.
In desperation, the unseen pilot smashed a button, the Mekanorimon's legs retracting and leaving only jets behind. This allowed the duo to hover right over the daggers, which VictoryImpmon quickly had to duck under as well. From here, the Mekanorimon and pilot alike felt relatively safe. Ferrus turned his eye to the group, which began to glow a bright red. A whisper could be faintly be heard, but was mostly masked by the sound of the eye charging up.
"Is this really necessary?"
"You say this like you're doubting me. You wouldn't be doubting the guy in charge of the buttons, would you?" That sure shut the Mekanorimon up. "Full power! Break Laser!" A thin tracking beam shot from the Mekanorimon's eye, highlighting the area where he would shoot, only for Ulysses to suddenly begin swerving the tracker in unpredictable patterns. Where the beam would end up blasting was left questionable, but at this point Ulysses was getting tired of the Steeldramon dodging all of Ferrus' attacks. He wanted to see her squirm when faced with something that'd chase her upon dodging.
VitoryImpmon looked panicked as the blast began firing. The fused rookie scrambled back and forth, trying to find an open avenue for attack, but it didn't seem like there was one. Going from below would get them fried by the jets, and going from the front would get them blasted to bits by the laser. There only seemed to be one course of action. Would it be too much of a risk? "Flash Headbutt!" Whiffing the headbutt made the attack little more than a teleport, allowing VictoryImpmon to get behind the domelike glass protecting the Mekanorimon. From there the fusion stood on the machine's shoulders and flashed Alicia a thumbs up.
Whoever the rider was, it seemed far too distracted to notice.

Alicia growled a bit as Ferrus got up again, shifting to hover on jets out of easy reach. Then the eye started glowing red. That was always a sign of impending doom and pain. Still, something this apparently big needed some kind of downside, right? Turns out it did, what with a visible targeting laser being emitted from the eye before the actual beam launch. Smirking, she jumped back out of the indicated area.
And then the Mekanorimon's pilot seemed to have had his fill of her antics. The targeting laser started sweeping around wildly, and the Steeldramon began to genuinely panic. She tried to keep her eye on the laser to get an idea of where the actual blast would be going, but it was hard enough to find such a thin thing normally. she let out a yelp and dove forward as the Break Laser fired, wincing as she felt her back burn from how close it got.
No time to be lazing around though, she scrambled to her feet and dodged as best as she could after the initial hit. There had to be some way out of this mess, right? Not on her own it seemed. Then VictoryImpmon managed to get on top all of sudden and signaled to her. How had he managed that? Still, it gave her something she could do.
"Heads up pal!" she called, before deploying her chains again, Firing a blade in one of them, she sent it up and anchored the blade into Ferrus' shoulder before pulling her chain free. "Jam it into the dome, see if you can break it and take the pilot out of the picture!" she called up to him once she recoiled her chains. Unfortunately, that pause gave enough time for the beam to catch up and blast her.
With a pained screech, she was knocked down, scorched by the blast and looking a bit worse for wear. She'd be able to get up again though, once she had a moment to get herself together again.

The fusion cast a worried look down at Alicia, but they had a feeling this was still all going according to plan. They'd just have to step up to the plate a little while she was knocked down. VictoryImpmon plucked the blade out from Ferrus' shoulder and held it against the dome, then drew their gloved hand back. It was time to chisel it. "This is the end of the line for you! Dokkan Punch!"
The explosive fist sent Alicia's blade right through the dome. Ferrus instinctively threw up his hands to protect his rider from both shards of glass and the outside world, but Elliot and Isaac were able to see what looked like a purple Agumon in flowing graduation robes. It sneered at the duo in irritation, before pointing at them so Ferrus would know to grab and destroy them. "Who the heck are you?"
The jig was up now. Ulysses popped out of the cockpit, the NiseAgumon Hakase adjusting his hat and aiming his baton at the fusion. "I am the great Ulysses! And this is my good friend, Gravity!" The VictoryImpmon let out a squeak of pain as Ferrus' hands wrapped around it, and for a while all was still. Then, hesitantly, the Mekanorimon tossed the fusion over its shoulder and off of the train.
Ulysses followed it up with a magnificent laugh. How could he not?
