Shi held his head down eyes closed with a cup of coffee sitting right next to his head. with a soft sigh he dragged his head up and grabbed the cup taking a swing from the blistering hot drink. Not that he really cared at the moment the pain kept him awake. He sat in his normal school outfit which was just like his normal outfit except black plaid coat and lack of a hat. One could assume the teen got out of school and would be right. His daily ritual of drinking hot stuff after school was his normal, even if the price kept going up. Hell he had nothing he needed to buy. His thoughts started wandering to his partners again. "At first I had a portable Dragon nuke and now I have a one up of that." Shi muttered quietly to himself his thoughts scattered. "Maybe Terra forcing the school would be a good idea." The teen pondered this thought before shaking it off.
Shi took out his phone and checked it. "Nothing from Kirito or anyone. Suppose that's a good sign no one needs my help." Shi said aloud before returning his phone to his pockets. "I have Mega, this is as strong as we'll get right. So why does it feel so incomplete?" He asked himself, he wanted to do more then sit on the sidelines. But alas that was all a human could do when faced with foes like he has gone up against and almost died to a few Times.

I have no idea how you can handle this stuff," Isaac said, looking at the pitch black coffee Elliot was nursing. Somehow he had figured his bro was more the drown it in milk and sugar until it was nearly unrecognizable type, not the completely straight drink type. Personally, the one time Isaachad tried that it made his tongue plan an emergency escape route.
"I dunno," Elliot said, doing little more than shrugging in response. "That's how dad always used to make it, I guess." Almost the entire week had passed, and yet still no mention of when they were getting home. Truth be told Elliot was starting to get a bit jittery about it. The ultra-strong coffee likely wasn't helping any, of course.
Isaac couldn't help but sigh in frustration at the man's name. Even having written him out of his life entirely, he still lurked in the back of his mind through constant mentions from Elliot. And Elliot loved the guy. What was Isaac even supposed to say? "Just try not to burn yourself trying too hard to look adult, okay?" he joked, noticing how much the coffee was steaming.
"Could say the same for you." Now where was this coming from?

Shi went for another drink. before he felt something, just a weird feeling while sitting there. He almost dismissed it but he thought he heard something behind him. Shi glanced back trying to find the source. At first he thought it was the two talking near his table but it didn't sound the same. Shi rubbed his eyes figuring he was just tired from college. Going back for another drink he saw something yellow, eyes staring at him as he put his coffee down as he was randomly tackled by something red. This turned out to be one of his partners, he had to guess it was Yuudai due to the nature of the glomp. "Heh got You Shi." He said in a with a smile as the tamers bag and it's contents went out, it was just his foulder, drawing notebook with WarGreymon on the front and his Digivice.
"Yuudai, why." The tamer asked shoving the heavy Holo suited Digimon off as another one walked over shaking his head lightly. "Because he thought it would be funny." Yasuo chimed in and Yuudai got up and shrugged. "Well it worked didn't it, snuck up on him." The weirdly golden eyed one said to the other. Shi wondered why they had gold eyes, that wasn't natural maybe a Holo suit malfunction or something. "Well just be glad you didn't spill my drink." Shi muttered out as he and Yasuo started after the foulders that fell, both not noticing the device though.

The telltale sound of folders hitting the ground was like music to Elliot's ears. The boy was always helping others pick up their stuff back in school, and just in general performing random acts of help and kindness. He might as well keep bearing that torch here in Japan. Elliot slid out of his seat to help give the two older boys a hand, letting out a familiar reassuring "Do not worry! I will help you." as he got to work. As he began aiding them in picking everything up, however, he couldn't help but notice the strange, familiar device sitting aside the bag.
A Digivice? Here? Just left wide out in the open? He quickly slid the device beneath one of the pieces of notebook paper, hoping he wouldn't end up leaving it out in the open for too long. He didn't want to risk the Digimon secret getting out, especially in such an anticlimactic way. Rather than bring it up in person, he shot the two a reassuring look and nodded. The look in his eyes practically screamed "Don't worry! Your secret's safe with me!" Once that was out of the way he resumed cleaning up everything, doing his best to keep things quick and punctual.
Isaac simply watched his brother get to work. Cleanliness was never his strong suit, and by the time he got off of his butt to do something Elliot would have already finished up. However, the way Elliot seemed to hastily cover something up, he figured this was more interesting than your usual paper spill. Maybe it'd be a good idea to keep an eye and ear out, in case something proved troublesome.

Shi and Yasuo got to work while Yuudai did nothing, Shi knew that the Agumon had Bo idea how to organize things and it'd just be easier with two. Strike that tree, the teen glanced up seeing someone much younger then him work at the papers with them. "Thanks." Shi muttered out looking for one thing in particular, his Digivice fell out also, since he didn't feel the weight of the device in his pocket. Though it wasn't like that device would do anything in any hands but his own, no one but someone who directly had sonethig to do with Digimon would know. Shi absentmindedly looked up and noticed the look he was given. Like he had kept someone of Shi's from being seen around the area. His notebook? After that idiot thought Shi knew it was his device.
Shi put the papers back noticing and remembering some of them, the long equations and questions made him want to give up now, why did math need to include the alphabet. Wasn't it hard enough before. Sighing he opened his bag and set it out for the three of them to put the things in question back. Soon Shi felt some pressure on his head, when he put his hand up it touched his regular hat. "Brought it, dunno why you don't take it to school" Yuudai said with a smile.

A silence settled as the older person returned to what he was doing beforehand, a bunch of math that made Elliot's brain want to evacuate, screaming, just from taking a quick glance at it. He felt pretty bright in his studies currently, and Isaac could do okay when motivated properly, but was that how high-level work looked? Maybe it'd be different in California. California. There was a place he was starting to increasingly miss as this vacation began to get longer. It was almost the end of week 1, and he was starting to feel the fatigue. Literally, when one accounted for how tiring Digital World journeys could be.
Speaking of Digital World, his friends didn't even seem to blink an eye at the Digivice dropping. Either the other boy was stunningly good at hiding his secret in plain sight, or they were all in on the plan too. Maybe there were some kind of cool Digi-team! He didn't hear any partners making a ton of noise, though. Kyaro wasn't exactly a subtle first impression of what they were like, so frankly he expected them to be a lot louder. Was everyone else just a spirit user that they knew? It was kind of funny, really, how few actual Digimon they knew in this world of Digimon.
Still, he found himself increasingly curious about this super team. "How long?" he asked, keeping his question suitably ambiguous so the other boy could steer the conversation in a different direction if preferred. It could easily mean "-is that math homework?" instead of "-have you been adventuring in the Digital World for?" if the boy chose to interpret it that way.

Shi kept quietly putting things away with Yasuo, the Holo suited digimon didn't bat a eye at he device, he knew Shi was on it. Or a least hoped the Tamer was on it himself having not seen the look the younger boy gave him. Shi was getting into a small tempo with his movements and stacking which was quietly shattered with what the other person asked. Despite the ambiguous question it didn't take Shi long at all to deduce what he might of meant, after all he seemed to know what the Digivice was. "Around nine months." Shi answered, despite not giving a clear detail about what the nine months was, for all the boy knew Shi could be talking about solving his work. and that sadly wasn't that far from he truth either.
"You?" Shi asked finally giving some clarity to what his words meant. Judging soley by the fact this kid looked younger then him Shi doubted he'd be in college. The only thing they'd have in common was that device and the question was easy enough, at least Shi felt who knew he might have to offer more of what he meant. Wouldn't that be embarrassing.

Nine months? Jeez, this guy must've really loved math!
Nah, Elliot knew what he meant. Still, that was a lot of time in the Digital World. Almost the big 1 year mark. He couldn't help but wonder how different things would be for him in nine months. He'd be back in California, for starters. It would be a hefty exam period at school. Isaac'd be sixteen, and that means he gets a big fancy party, a car, and a really pretty dress. That's how it worked on all those TV shows, right? The Digimon World would probably be far behind them, beyond popping in to say hi to Maia and Kyaro every now and then. They'd probably have most of their Japanese study slip away, besides a few choice words they'd break out every now and then. Maybe absence would make their parents' hearts grow fonder for each other?
Nah. Not even Elliot was that naive. Still, he smiled pleasantly at the idea, before turning back to Shi. It seemed now the shoe was being put on the other foot, and in this case the foot would be a very, very tiny one. "Four days," he admitted, bashfully. A very hectic, busy, and at times stressful four days, but four days nonetheless. Sure, he'd nearly died at least three times in that span, but he had also made some friends he knew he'd be keeping around for a long time. In a way it made the nine months figure all the more significant. Would he be numb to the change by then? Or would he be completely transformed by it.
Of course, Shi's Digivice didn't look much like his at all. Elliot wasn't about to go flashing it in public like the world's worst undercover cop, but he was also curious what Shi was. He couldn't be a Tamer like Maia, right? If so, his Digimon must've had the patience of saints! "It is cool! Does not look much like mine, though," he said, pretending to admire the boy's notebook. It seemed the two were slowly building up a little code through their conversation.

Shi wondered what this one was thinking about, he hadn't said anything and seemed to be thinking before he said four days. Shi just smiled for a moment. "Everyone starts somewhere." Shi said hoping to give him a bit of encouragement and to make his time seem like less, Shi started with hardly a week also and had a hectic time. Shi smiled and shook his head recalling past fights, was that how it was not, just past events that he could look back on, some not as fondly as the others but each with good friends.
What he didn't know was Shi did have his partners and one of them had started getting restless as they talked. Yuudai was silently bouncing a bit seemingly shadow boxing with himself a bit bored. It was useless seeing as he normally never had hands and punching wasn't something he normally did. When Shi heard what the newcomer said he just said Shi just smiled but couldn't find anything to say that'd be cover. Also how many papers did Shi have. He swore fighting Mega's was easier then college.

He was right. Everyone started somewhere. Elliot's beginnings were less than noble, starting with being thrown directly into a kidnapping situation and ending with him trying desperately to de-Digivolve while hiding beneath a trash can. Each day was a new adventure, but he had a feeling these adventures would never go forgotten. The pain was the worst he had experienced so far, but the rewards at the end were irreplaceable. Not many could say their first day in a new place was that exciting.
He turned to Shi's friends, noticing one of them was shadow boxing. In a coffee shop? That seemed kind of dangerous, or at the very least likely to draw attention to himself. These friends of Shi's must have been really confident people! Of course, after nine months of being awesome digital heroes, who wouldn't have a bit more backbone? It had been only four days and Isaac was already acting like he was the hottest of the hot. "Them too?" Elliot asked, curious as to how far back this digital task force went. Were they friends for a while, or were they brought together by the Digital World in the first place?

Shi looked back at the twins. Yasuo had finished with his pile and Yuudai was doing that shadow boxing. "That's, a bit complicated." Shi said, this person might not of known about Holo Suits and the fact that they were his partners. Yuudai stopped doing what he was doing and sat back down. Shi had finished what he was doing and Shi had also as they put the folders back in the back. Shi had noticed there wasn't many more people here so a bit of a more bold statement would be easier now. "Wanna sit down, talk a bit more?" Shi asked figuring they might as well share what they know. that was how Shi made it this far.
Yuudai had come next to the tamer and twin holding Shi's coffee. "How you drink this I have no idea." He said before giving it to Shi, he wasn't a coffee person.

"Of course!" Elliot merrily sat down at the table, before turning to Isaac expectantly. The boy looked up from the nearly-white mix of milk, sugar, and some coffee he was preparing and met his brother's gaze. Really? He was kind of hoping he'd be able to leave the coffee shop and get back to exploring Shibuya more, rather than being roped into more half-understood conversation with strangers. Still, it seemed Elliot was making new friends, so could it really be that bad? He quickly relented and joined Elliot at the seat. With five people it was starting to be a bit crowded, but thankfully no onlookers seemed to be paying a bunch of attention.
"This is my brother, Isaac," Elliot explained. "Isaac, these are-" Elliot paused in mid introduction. Oh dear. All this time, had he really forgot to introduce himself? Sure, he thought he was just helping scoop up some leftover papers before getting caught up in conversation, but he still should've been more on the ball about this kind of thing. His face a bright crimson, he decided to make up for the earlier slip-up.
"M-my name is Elliot, by the way," he said, voice sheepish and small. "It is very nice to meet you. What are your names?"

Shi followed the person to the table after picking up his backpack. Shi adjusted the strap slightly before sitting down. The two twins followed shortly sitting next to him. Shi had realized they didn't exchange names but that made sense right. You normally don't exchange names with some random teen who dropped his stuff. "Shi Namika, nice to meet you" Shi answered giving his full name. He tended to forget to do that but that was mostly cause how many Shi's were running around Shibuya, specially ones with two blonds always trailing after him. "Yuudai, and my brother Yasuo." He said pointing at he other blond. Yasuo wondered once more why he always took the liberty of saying both their names, did it really matter though it was routine at his point.
Shi looked at Isaac for a moment before looking back at Elliot. "So is your brother the same?" Shi asked referring back to their original conversation, well kinda sneaking conversation. It wasn't odd for someone in your family not to be around the digital world. His sister wasn't despite that one time she saw Yasuo and Yuudai before. Even if Isaac wasn't Shi was smart enough to phrase it to move into any conversation without getting caught. What a smart cookie.

"Yes," Isaac responded. He wasn't listening too closely, but he knew Elliot's style of conflict avoidance enough to catch onto the meaning of the conversation. Besides, there were only so many tactful ways to ask about the Digital World. This kind of euphemism was really the only way, especially in public like that. Still, he was surprised his brother was capable of such tact. Frankly, he thought Elliot would've just blurted something about the Digital World by now and completely ruined it. Seemed he was pretty strategic after all!
"Are yours?" Elliot asked, curiously indicating the other two. They really hadn't said much the entire day, and he was getting a little bit curious about them. At the very least, he hoped one of them would start opening up a little bit more. Of course, it wasn't like Isaac had been too talkative either until now. Maybe now that one brother had entered the conversation, the other two would as well.

Shi was glad to hear he wouldn't be dragged into a conversation where he had to keep sneaking around, but then that question came up and he looked at the twins behind him. Shi made sure no one was around them before talking. "Yes, but not in the way you two and me are. They are my partners actual Digimon themselves." Shi answered and both gave a nod. By now Shi had pegged these two for either a Spirit or a Xros considering what Elliot said before. However he thought it would be spirit rather then Xros considering Yasuo and YuudaI hadn't sensed anyone, they would of alerted him far before this conversation started. "Yeah it's true, using something called a Holo suit." Yuudai added soon after and the other Yasuo gave a nod. Shi figured it'd be alright just talking about it, not loudly of course but somehow even Yuudai managed to keep a calm voice about it.
Yasuo wasn't talking, instead he seemed to be paying attention to he people around him. He took it upon himself to make sure no one was around and paying close attention to their conversation. Though they were not targets of anything so he was just doing this as a precaution.
