"What, seriously?"
"That's so cool! You gotta show us!"
"Here? Come on, bro. If this is even true, you of all people know that'd be a bad idea."
"They could hide under a trash can."
"I doubt they'd be as small as ours were, to pull that trick off."
"A really big trash can?"
To say the brothers had conflicting reactions to this was an understatement. Isaac seemed somewhat suspicious of the idea, while Elliot was absolutely enthralled. If not for this being such a private matter, it was likely Elliot would've asked far too many questions. Instead, with how public the group was, he simply kept his amazement and wonder vague. He still really, really wanted to see it, though. Maybe they'd be able to check it out another time. "What type?"
Isaac wasn't entirely sure why he was so doubting. After all, he could turn into a Digimon. Maybe it was because, despite seeing humans in Digimon form, he had yet to ever see a Digimon take human form. For someone who had been to a realm where anything was possible, he was somewhat firm in the camp of seeing is believing. As far as he knew, this was just some college kid doing his best to show off and impress his juniors. Interesting idea, but nothing earthshaking like Elliot seemed to think it was.

Shi just shrugged at Isaac saying even if it was real, he really didn't care what they thought it was the truth and he knew it. "I actually have a picture of them." Shi said opening his bag once more. He placed his drawing notebook on the table before opening it to one page. On it was Yuudai's evolution. From Koromon to WarGreymon. "These are the evolutions." Shi was cut off. "Those are mine, from Agumon to WarGreymon." Yuudai the older looking brother said. Shi waited before turning it to the next page to Yasuo. "Mine, from Agumon to RiseGreymon" This page was missing the mega since they hadn't discovered it yet. "Regarding the Holo suit, here one moment." Shi took out the items in his backpack while Yasuo scanned the area. "We good?" Yasuo nodded as Shi put the empty bag on Yuudai's head.
Shi held the device under the table and with two button presses the teen was wrapped in a field of Data which vanished as quickly as it came along with the teen. Shi picked up the originally empty bag and placed it on the table. If either looked they'd see the small pink Koromon. "Ah why did ya have to make me do it " Yuudai complained in a slightly higher voice. "Because unlike you Yasuo made sure no one would see." He told him and it was true. Shi did it when no one was looking this way nor could see. He had done this before.

The brothers looked at the pictures, wide-eyed. Wow! They got so big! How did a tiny little pink blob turn into a huge, awesome dragon man? Was Kyaro going to get that big one day? Were they going to get that big? It was almost impossible to imagine, honestly. As much as Elliot and Isaac wanted to be less tiny in digital form, they couldn't even think of how they'd react to being so immense. How did doors even work for the Digimon? How did they even fit in buildings? This was so crazy!
Of course, pictures were nothing compared to the real thing, as Shi was about to plainly demonstrate. The brothers were originally confused when Shi took one of his own brothers and bagged him over the head, but the disappearing act and appearance of Koromon made everything clear. Isaac's jaw dropped, and Elliot's eyes practically sparkled with amazement. "Oh my gosh! That's awesome!" Elliot said excitably, to all onlookers looking strangely enthralled by the contents of a simple bag. Oh well, he was fine with looking like a weirdo if it was so he could check out something cool.
"Man, that's really neat," Isaac agreed, only to be cut off by an excited look from Elliot.
"Should we tell Maia? Then Kyaro wouldn't have to be hidden all the time," he suggested, curiously. He felt kind of bad for the little bunny-ferret-cat thing, always being locked up or hidden in purses. Isaac didn't even grace that one with an answer, simply shuddering as he imagined what kind of havoc the Digimon could cause if given a human form.
"So, how are you guys adapting to the human world?"

Shi was glad he cleared up any doubt of his Holo suit, well at least Yuudai Yasuo hadn't changed but still they looked similar in their suits so he assumed these brothers got the base idea. "Maia? Huh." Shi said scratching the side of his head, that name sounded a bit familiar to him. "Wasn't that the girl we helped in the village of beginning?" Yasuo said connecting the though Shi had. "Oh yeah." Shi said happy he remembered.
"Oh sorry I just get a bit out of it when I can't remember something." Shi said giving reason to that before, though it also basically said he had met the girl before, if it was the same on of course Shi hadn't even seen her partner.
"Adjusting as well as you'd think, we've spent quite a bit of time in the human world so I'd like to say." He glanced at the Koromon in he bag before continuing. "At least I can act human." Yasuo ended but Yuudai didn't refute. "But sadly other Digimon can still sense us in the other form so that's a bit of a pain." Yuudai added.

"Everything okay with her?" Isaac asked, upon hearing she needed a hand back there. The Village of Beginnings didn't exactly strike Isaac as a place where a lot of bad stuff went down, but considering he didn't have nearly as much experience with the Digital World as Shi did, he probably didn't know the main trouble hotspots. Still, he kinda wished he was around to help out too. Shame he was too busy busting ghosts that night to help. Seemed the two of them were each doing their parts to keep both worlds a bit safer.
Elliot, on the other hand, seemed a little perturbed with the news about the holo suits. "Wait, you guys can still be sensed?" he asked a little worriedly. If a bad Digimon like Bakemon materialized and tried to hunt them down, that'd be really bad! Was that how he found the two brothers so easily? Or was it just random chance. "Other Digimon wouldn't be able to notice us, would they? Oh no, I hope these spirits don't mean we're putting other people at risk."

Shi decided to quickly put his fears at ease. "Yeah don't worry it was mostly another guy there who was in trouble. We managed to take out the threat no problem." Shi calmly explained and Yuudai in the bag let out a small laugh. "Like you could call that a threat, a Ultimate ain't nothing compared to us." The bagged digimon boasted but Yasuo was there to quickly explain. "Unless we time out, then we go back to In training form." Yuudai didn't seem to want to hear that. "Don't have to remind me every time.
At the question of sensing Shi decided to put this to rest also. "No, Yasuo and Yuudai didn't sense you here. I suppose it's only when you're transformed." Shi said, even his Digivice didn't react to it. Spirits seemed to be the best to hide themselves.

Considering the duo hadn't even seen an Ultimate before, that was pretty impressive. This WarGreymon must've kicked some serious ass! "How was it? Over in flash, or did you have to work for it? What kind of Digimon did you guys even fight?" he asked, finding himself increasingly curious about the threats that lied within the Digital World. So far that Tankmon was still the biggest challenge he had ever found himself dealing with, and even then there was a lot of backup helping them out. What could possibly be stronger than that giant one-Digimon demolition derby? Judging by what Shi was saying, a lot of things, and chief among them WarGreymon.
"Okay. Thank goodness." Elliot's grief was mostly put to bed by that reassurance. No longer did he have worries about friends and family suddenly being pounced upon by hungering Digimon because they were after the source of his data. Even then, he still figured it'd be best to remain vigilant. If Bakemon couldn't track him by his data and the resulting scent, it meant the ghost had completely unrelated reasons for breaking into the human world. Even if he personally was safe, there were so many people in the human world that wouldn't be. Elliot refused to abide by that, even if it might have been far more wise to just keep his head down and not ask any questions.
He only wished he'd be strong enough to have any real influence.

"Not really, the strength difference between a Mega and a Ultimate is quite vast, took two hits to finish it." Shi explained, it was the truth after all. "The type, it was sorta like a large spider. It had arms and a body on top of it. Other then that I can't place much details." Shi didn't even have time to scan it so that was out of the question. "Would of taken one hit had we terra forced it." Yuudai complained and Yasuo reminded. "And take it and the two people we were trying to save out. You know that's a last resort move." Yuudai had a retort this time. "But we finished BlackWarGreymon that way and it was so cool, a giant fireball." Shi tapped the bagged Digimon on the head reminding him to be quiet.
Yasuo looked at Elliot as he said that was good. He smiled a bit not used to anyone actually saying anything on what they do. Even people they saved seemed to slightly ignore it for some reason, or in one case get mad for some reason.

"BlackWarGreymon? Is that your rival?" Elliot asked excitedly. Fighting what sounded like an evil twin, and then finishing him up with a giant fireball called the freaking Terra Force? That sounded so awesome! Most of his time in the Digital World had been kind of dangerous and intimidating, but this was one of those "anime is real" moments that made it sound so awesome! Of course, with how small and weak the brothers were currently, a BlackWarGreymon would be more soul-crushingly terrifying than badass and awesome. Maybe if they found a BlackVictoryImpmon they could have a tiny punch-up with? That would be kind of fun.
"You gotta tell us what happened," he repeated firmly, making sure to keep his voice down to avoid attracting attention. His eyes were bright and enthusiastic, and Isaac could tell just from the tone of his brother's voice that it was about time for story time. Thankfully, Elliot was pretty content with just sitting down and listening to other people talk. With a sufficiently awesome story, the boy could be left dead silent just hearing and appreciating. Especially with how restless he could be at other times, it was always a bit surprising seeing just how much Elliot hung on every word.

Oh he wanted to know about Black, that was a bit troubling. "That's a bit troubling, originally he was a Digimon called SkullGreymon, We met him once and fought him. Managed to destroy him with some help. This was of course before we were even at the Ultimate level." Shi said, despite the fact that they reached it that required a fusion of two Digimon to get, Yasuo and Yuudai to be exact. "We thought that was it but only recently we got back to Terminus, Along with our friend Dante we explored for a bit then encountered the same SkullGreymon as before." Shi said and with a soft sigh kept explaining. "These two in their Ultimate state manage to push him back for a while, but afterwards he evolved into the Digimon, BlackWarGreymon. It." Shi said not wanting to say the last part. "It completely annihilated us." Yasuo ended figuring he'd admit it.
"It left us with little left and just as we were going to lose I." Shi said looking at his Digivice. "I don't know what happen I just got the power to evolve them into Mega. Once that happened we clashed for a while and managed to defeat the Digimon, hopefully for good this time." Shi ended figuring that explained it all.

"I am so glad you guys are safe," Elliot said, once Shi's story had come to a conclusion. To him, an outside onlooker, it sounded amazing. To them, the ones living in the moment and getting smashed down by a terrifying juggernaut, it must have been a nightmare. He couldn't help but wonder how his digital adventures must have looked to outside observers. Maybe they were cooler than he thought! Death defying stunts, perilously worming his way out of the jaws of defeat, fighting ghosts in graveyards and tanks in warzones. Maybe if he had the chance to share his side of the story, people would think his time in the Digital World was really fun as well!
Or maybe he'd just look even more like a huge dork. Who knows?
"Why do you think it was chasing after you?" Elliot asked, wondering what sort of things might have lead such a strong Digimon to prove so hostile. It couldn't have been hoarding a spirit, like all of the ones Elliot had encountered so far. Was it because of an egg? No, that made sense for Bakemon, but imagining a SkullGreymon daintily cupping an egg in the palm of its giant hands was too ridiculous to even consider. Maybe it was just hungry? For what? People? Either way, Elliot figured if he prepared himself maybe he'd be able to keep safer here in the Digital World. All he'd have to do was learn how not to piss off the local badasses.

"Indeed, Safe." Shi repeated but looked at the table, was he really safe when he was attacked twice by the same thing, what was to stop him from coming to the Human world and killing people just to get to him. What was to stop any digimon from doing that. Despite thinking this he already knew the answer, it was him and people like him who stopped that. Shi shook his head to rid those thoughts, he thought he stopped caring about why he got the power, it didn't matter that much anymore he had it now.
Shi however shut up when he asked that question, he had the answer but for some reason was reluctant to say so. Luckily Yasuo caught this and explained himself. "The first time we met it I don't think it had a end goal, it just wanted to fight anything it came across, luckily it was us he came across." Yasuo said but then the second time was a bit harder to explain. "I think it looked for us the second time though, it somehow managed to evolve before we could finish it then, we really had no choice but to evolve. I'd like to say we were badass and beat him easily but we won by such a small margin." Yasuo admitted, it was the truth after they fought the twins could barely stand, let alone keep their rookie state.
"We've been talking about us for a bit, now it's your turn, what have you guys done in the digital world?" Yuudai asked from the bag, Shi had to admit he was a bit curious himself about that.

So it seemed like there really was no answer, besides hoping not to be in the way of a Digimon that was itching for a fight. That was a little disappointing, but honestly what Elliot expected. Still, the fact that the BlackWarGreymon seemed to be nursing a grudge was a little bit disconcerting. What if the Tankmon they fought came back, even tougher and out for their heads? They already needed a bunch of friends helping out just the chase it away the first time. If it could find them, still small and vulnerable and all alone, what could it do to them? Elliot didn't even want to imagine it.
"Well, we really have not done too much," Elliot said. Compared to Shi's adventures, that couldn't be closer to the truth. All they did was fall in a hole and get ambushed by a bunch of big, scary monsters. Elliot was a little worried that they'd just come off as overly tame in response.
"When I landed, I got kidnapped by a Tankmon and his goons," Isaac started. "Thankfully Elliot was able to recruit a few others and help fight them off. That was when we found our spirits and transformed for the first time. Apparently they fuse us together if we're not careful, which is really uncomfortable to deal with."
"Then, when exploring some graveyard rumors, a new friend we made got attacked by a Bakemon in the human world. It-"
"Was a big scaredy cat," Isaac said with a confident interruption.
"It was still more than capable of beating us up," Elliot reminded him. "Thankfully, we were able to fight it off. But it was really close."

Shi listened to the story and recalled when he needed Amsel before to distract the Ultimate. Then Kirito and his evolution since Shi could no longer hold it. "It's good you were able to find someone to help you with that." Shi didn't sound like he was being rude or anything but he felt those words could easily be taken the wrong way with his earlier explanation of what happened before.
"I don't think it's not much, it's still quite a bit if you ask me." Shi said hoping to downplay things he has done, honestly those times he was just lucky someone was there, Shi honestly didn't think he'd fight as hard were someone not there that'd die because of him failing.

"I would not be surprised if more comes up in the near future," Isaac said. At first they thought staying in the human world would bring them respite, but then they learned the hard way the the human world - digital world connection was a two way street. If Digimon could just show up here whenever they liked, especially hostile ones, would avoiding the world even matter? Sooner or later they were going to have to face these problems head on, and that would mean delving into the Digital World. The alternative would be to risk being unprepared for the next great threat to bio-emerge.
"What sorts of cool places are there in the Digital World? All we have seen so far is a field of endless grass," Elliot asked. Really, the Network Plains were a terrible introduction to the Digital World. It was just grass, and dirt, and clouds, and more grass. And angry tank monsters. For a world that sounded as full of possibilities as the Digital World, it was a really boring point of origin. He hoped at the very least, Shi would know where to find some good quality adventure. If they were going to risk their lives they might as well make it fun.
