Luna snickered at the story Coonaimon said, it was funny. Even Dust managed to crack a smile. "I've got one." Dust said and that made Luna look at Dust, he wouldn't. "When we went to the Terminus market I ended up getting separated from Luna, now while in her ultimate form she can fly and I ended up finding her holding on to a tall lamp because she was afraid of the height, took me nearly a hour to remind her she could fly." Luna covered her face looking away. "It's not my fault." but she didn't blame who it was.
Then Luna smiled before crossing her arms. "I got a good one, a story I heard from Dust." she said smiling, Dust looked at her with a face that said no. "Originally Dust was lost in the human world, he met up with a girl who helped him out by dressing him up like a little human boy, she told him to act like a energetic little kid. Could you really see Dust looking like a kid bouncing around like that?" Dust was just facing away from everyone. "I shouldn't of told you that." he managed to mutter out.
Sistermon laughed at their stories before smiling. "I got one, you know this Hackmon. He wants to be a hero so he started rushing around Terminus acting like a hero, when I found him though he was tied up by his scarf by accident hanging from a pole upside down." Jackson just laughed. "Yeah, you're never gonna let me live that down aren't you."

The two twin digimon laughed, the mental images of these events were just too funny. Sparmon being just a tad less coordinated fell over at the thought of Hackmon tying himself to a pole accidentally. Her brother continued on without her knowing that she'd catch up soon enough. In spirit of keeping things going, Coonaimon collected himself enough to speak. "Once we volunteered to help another digimon cook something. Now, neither of us are very good cooks mind you, so I'm not sure what we were thinking when we offered our help. Not three minutes after we entered the kitchen to keep an eye of the soup, Sparmon got herself completely trapped under a pile of cookware, there was even a pot on her head so she couldn't see anything. I would have tried to help her out of there right away but..." "He did try," his sister interrupted, She skipped along hurrying to catch up with the rest of the group. "And when he turned to get me his tail knocked the soup over off the stove spilling it everywhere! I don't think we're welcome back there anymore. They were so mad!" "With good reason too." Coonaimon nodded.

Dust could only wonder what events could of possibly led to Sparmon getting trapped under some cooking supplies like that, but he didn't question it and just snickered at the event. After they said that however Hackmon had his own story. "Speaking of cooking something happened with my sister rather recently. We were going to help a friend of with making some food, eventually I had to leave to help her move something and when we got back we found the kitchen we were working in covered in the food like it somehow exploded with my sister standing in the middle. To this day she still hasn't told me what happened there." the Sistermon simply looked away. "And you'll never learn either."
Well this managed to get Dust to stop thinking about all the bad, it was good to recount all the bad ideas that had happened. "Oh yeah and one-time me and Dust found some old mega digimon who apparently locked himself out of his house, and for some reason the lock was some type of puzzle. When Dust asked why though he just started shouting something about whippersnappers and tried to hit Dust with the staff, it was funny to watch him go off on us about that." saying that part made it sound fun. However Luna missed the part where the same digimon trapped them in a underground arena and forced them to fight, still not the worst thing to happen.

"Old people are so weird sometimes!" Sparmon laughed. "I bet you'll be the weirdest one of all when we're their age." Her brother teased. "Yeah right! I'm going to stay young forever!" She scoffed loudly. "Well I've got another story," Coonaimon said with a grin. "Once we met a digimon who was convinced the moon was a digimon too. He insisted we call the moon Moonmon, and would take offense if we accidentally just said moon. It turned out that someone was just playing a trick on him, but it was a pretty funny situation." "Hmm..." The girl rookie seemed to be deep in thought. About what Coonaimon couldn't imagine. "What is it Sparmon?" He asked with slight confusion. "You took all the good stories! I wanted to tell one..." "Just... How about you just listen for a while, one might come to you later." "Oh alright, but no telling any more until I do!" Her brother rolled his eyes. This wasn't a competition, they were just having fun while trying to avoid darker more serious subjects. Well if he couldn't tell any stories for the time being, he'll just have to use his time to think of the best one to tell while listening to everyone else. Maybe if he found a really good one he could get Dust or Gundramon to laugh. Dust had at least been snickering, but that wasn't the same as full blown laughter. The rookie smirked while thinking up the perfect story.

Luna only nodded in agreement, old people were weird, never even got a thank you nor a rewards, well apparently Marshal did but it was one of those rewards that are in your head. Luna doesn't like those types of rewards. However with that comment about Moonmon Luna could only laugh. "Someone should of told him there's already a Moonmon." Dust also snickered at that knowing that it was Luna's In training form, and she didn't look like the moon then.
Hackmon then got another idea. "Oh yeah I just remembered. When we were in the village of beggining one time Gundramon stuck around the center since he was so big and couldn't follow where we left, we were only gone for only a while to look for someone around the forest and when we got back we found all the baby digimon climbing on top of him. Hard to see a big mega like him threatening again after seeing small baby digimon climbing on him." Even Gundramon laughed at this recalling the event.

The Idea of the humongous Gundramon sitting around while baby digimon played on top of him... Well it took a little while for the two rookies to work through their laughter. Okay so now it was only Dust who hadn't given a real laugh... Well maybe it was just wasn't in Dust's nature to show more enjoyment than a chuckle or snicker. Well at least everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. That was a good sign. "Think of anything yet Sparmon?" He interrupted her fits of giggles to ask. She took a moment to collect herself, but it took some effort. "I think so..." She cleared her throat dramatically before beginning. "Okay so one time, we went out on an errand and we were really mad at each other so we ignored each other on the way. Then when we got there I forgot I was ignoring him and turned to ask him a question and he had a hat on his head which wasn't there before! I asked him about it and he didn't know where it came from either." Remembering this day Coonaimon decided to explain the story some more. It was one of his (many) more embarrassing moments, but today it felt easy to just think back and laugh at those sort of things. "Okay so while we were walking, there were some digimon playing with some things they had collected, one of those things was a goofy looking cap and it blew away. By some odd coincidence, it landed on top of me without my knowledge, I guess I wasn't paying any attention at all that day. I only noticed when Sparmon asked about it and just a few moments later that group of digimon came running asking for their hat back."

Dust looked at Sparmon and Coonaimon after that event was told and actually started with a short laugh. "You forgot you were ignoring him? Honestly it's believable since the first time me and Luna met she completely forgot my name, even my species name." Luna had her arms crossed signing. "I-I'm not good with names, you know this." To this Dust just laughed. "You called my impy once and then Doust." Luna smiled at this. "At least the second one was close." They had just met that day so it was understandable. Well not really since how could you forget Dust, half of it was on his pendant.
"Impy, heh I get my fair share of that also, pretty sure my sister's friend still doesn't know my name." Hackmon added recalling she always got it wrong. "I think she's just joking at this point. At least i really hope she's just joking." the Sistermon added.

Sparmon chuckled, Impy? Doust? She was almost tempted to call Dust that now... But it's probably better not too just yet, maybe later she can pretend she slipped up. That'd be fun. "I'm not too good at memorizing things myself... Most people don't have perfect memories, it's only natural to forget a lot of our daily lives. I think it helps that most digimon go by their species, and then the ones who don't are uncommon and make more of an impression." Coonaimon trailed off. Was he rambling? He certainly hoped he wasn't... "Coonaimon has trouble with remembering weird things though, like which direction the sun sets or things like that." "I know where the sun sets!" Said digimon protested. "Yeah? Where?" "Towards the Flatlands?" Sparmon muttered something under her breath and shook her head with an odd smile. "Did I-" Coonaimon stopped himself, if he asked that he'd just admit he didn't know. No way was he going to fall for that! Quickly he tried to think of something to say to cover his mistake. "Do you think we'll reach the town soon?" He hastily said instead. Sparmon thankfully had stopped paying attention so she missed it. Did this mean she wasn't trying to trick him? She wasn't really into tricks like that though was she? Coonaimon heaved a sigh of frustration. Stupid paranoid overthinking mind. And great, he forgot they were passing the time with stories... Now he just looked impatient. He scowled at his own misspoken thought but hid it from the others. "What does your friend call Hackmon instead usually?" Sparmon asked Sistermon, her train of thought going back around. Hackmon seemed like such an easy name to remember, how could someone mess up with it?

With the talk about memories Dust just shrugged. "I think we can all say I have the worst memory out of all of us." he used a light tone for it though so it was obvious he was joking. He literally forgot everything and still doesn't know why he forgot everything. Can't get much worse then that. To Coonaimon no one decided to comment except for Dust. "Not that for now, just a little while longer." he was still keeping track of where they were right now.
Hackmon laughed. "Well there have been several. Hiuackmon was a common one for a while. Heckmon came up once or twice. Heaukmon came up a few times. Hackzilla after she came back from the human world once. Hackeramon. Once she just said H-mon. She never keeps it up once I correct her though." The Sistermon smiled recalling the times Hackmon for mad about it. "Its more of a joke by now then anything else."

Maybe talking about forgetting things wasn't the best conversation... Had they seriously forgotten Dust had amnesia? At least he was so easy going about it, he was even going as far to joke about it. But what if he wasn't? They'd just been acting so insensitive... Coonaimon continued thinking such things and scarcely registered when his question was answered. "I stand by my earlier statement that it'd be nice to meet her sometime. It's nice that you guys all joke around like that, it sounds like a lot of fun!" For a moment her expression turned thoughtful as she pondered something. "Humans give each other nicknames, I wonder what one would be like for a digimon." Coonaimon smiled, his sister wasn't like him. She never overthought things like that. As much as he was ashamed to admit it, but he should try to be like her when it came to things like this. He was only getting in the way of himself having fun. "I don't know much about nicknames... It'd be kind of weird to give them to people with already short names like Dust and Luna though, don't you think?" "What about code names? That'd be cool!"

The Sistermon laughed slightly at that. "Yeah we joke all the time, sadly she sometimes forgets you shouldn't just all the time." Though was that a bad thing? Most likely since jokes and puns were a bad thing to do when avoiding or sneaking around. Very bad indeed. At the aspect of giving nicknames Luna shrugged. "Luna was just short for Lunamon my old evolution. It just grew on me and Dust and became my name after a while." she admitted, Lunamon wasn't a hard name though.
"Yeah, honestly I don't know why you would give someone a nickname while they had a short name. Maybe it's to show your friends or something." Dust said, it made sense? Kinda? 27th code names however Luna smiled. "That sounds amazing, act like we're on missions or something. I should totally brainstorm ideas for Dust." Luna said for some reason finding this exciting. "Or not, you can do that also." Dust added soon after but it was to late.

"Yeah! I bet the code name you give Dust will be awesome, you've got to tell me when you have one! I'll give myself and Coonaimon some too." With that Sparmon went quiet, thinking about the kinds of names spies and secret agents used. Something like Fluff-fur was out, as funny as it'd be she should find something more edgy and cool. Maybe her brother could be Ice-foot? Green-blue-dog? Maybe she'd have better luck thinking of one for herself first and then give her brother one which matched, they were a team after all. Plus since she was coming up with their names, she should get the cooler sounding one. Coonaimon sighed, what was wrong with the name he had now? Oh well, they'll probably get bored of the idea soon enough. Code names weren't that cool anyway, they were just funny sounding aliases. Luna was giving Dust one... Sparmon was giving one to herself and him. Well that only meant two of them were now preoccupied now didn't it? Or was Sistermon or Hackmon going to join in? It seemed silly to imagine Dust or Gundramon coming up with silly code names... Even funnier to think of what kind of code name someone might give them. Despite himself, Coonaimon was forced to hold back a snicker at the thought.

Luna crossed her arms deep in thought about what to call Dust, was she really taking this seriously. The Sistermon could only snicker at this. "I already got you guys beat there. I call this guy Tiny." she said tapping the side of the obviously big mega, if she said I was bringing Tiny then Dust had to admit he wouldn't think about a large mega. "Says you Blasta." the Gundramon said refering to the Sistermon.
Luna clapped her hands smiling. "I got it, we should just call you D-Mon." Luna said proud of the stupid name. "Says you Rabbit." Dust added making Luna clap and smile. "See now you're playing along." Luckily she knew what a rabbit was. Considering how high she could jump in this form it wasn't far off base.

"Those are great!" Sparmon cheered excitedly. Tiny, Blasta, D-mon, Rabbit... Now only the three non digivolving rookies were left. Well Sparmon figured she'd just have to remedy that herself. "D-mon? demon?" Coonaimon tried to figure out what Luna was going for with the name, did she really mean demon? That could fit. But it was just supposed to be D as in Dust and then the mon for digimon. Right? "I got it! Me and Coonaimon will be Pomegranate and Cucumber!" "Wait what? Where the heck did those come from?" Truly bewildered now, Coonaimon wondered if maybe he should just give up making sense of the two girls. At least Sistermon didn't seem too weird, so it probably wasn't all girl digimon who were like that, just them. Hopefully just them. Sparmon laughed at her brothers response. Why did she think of food names? She supposed she might be just teensy bit hungry, but she'll never admit to it. Not out loud anyway. "Do you have a code name in mind already Hackmon? If not you can join me and Cucumber and become Agent Coconut." "No. No more food names."

Luna shrugged when Cooniamon said demon. "Well, I mostly meant it as Dustmon making it D-mon so it sounded cooler. Demon works also since Dust can be a demon on the battlefield." Dust could only give a small nod to this. It was true when Dust lost control there normally wasn't a enemy left. Luckily nothing so far has pushed him farther then this state of mind, yet.
With that all the group could do was snicker at Coonaimon's reaction. "I think it fits quite well." Luna said in a joking tone, she wasn't serious but she mostly did it to see his reaction on it. Hackmon had thought about it but his sister just tapped him on his head. "I just call him fumbles, considering when I caught him fumbling around while tied up to a pole." well that was his code name. Well he was never gonna live that down.
