Some time passed and the new trio found themselves at the entrance of Terminus City. Leading the way in, and passing the guards that stood watch, was the cloaked, bipedal, orange sheep digimon who apparently went by the name of 'Lammon.' As it seemed, Floramon chose not to apologize for what she did, nor did she accompany them any farther. It left Gotsumon and Katrina wondering what Floramon was doing right now.
While ooo-ing and aaah-ing, looking around at the tall structures and shops along the streets, Gotsumon soon had a thought. ".... So hey. Now that we're here, ...how do we find him? ...His name was 'Wisemon,' right?"
Katrina responded, "Huh? ---Oh. Yeah. That's what Mistymon said. ...Do you know what he looks like?" Gotsumon shook his head, which reminded the redhead, "---Oh right: you said you've never been here before - I forgot." She then looked to the lead walker. "Lammon, what about you? Have you been here before?"
The cloaked sheep digimon didn't look back to give her own response. "Yeah. ...But I never had to look for a Wisemon, so I don't know where he is - or even what he looks like." Lammon then began to slow her pace down to a stop. She was hoping Mistymon had given the human, Katrina, at least a vague description as to whom she would be meeting. Now that the sheep digimon knows that such isn't the case, they needed to take a new approach to this situation. "Well, I guess we're going to have to ask around' ...is what I want to say, but...."
The cloaked -mon, followed by Gotsumon and Rina, looked about at the various digimon creatures shopping around or working a stall; most - if not all - of them had taken notice to the odd trio and were either anxious or nervously eyeing them. The group did consist of a cloaked digimon and a human. A Gotsumon among them was simply more to be nervous about, if only due to the increase of their group size; three can be scarier than two, after all.
"...I'm not sure how helpful they'll all be...."

Katrina could see the caution in some of the other digimon's faces. Maybe they thought the group was shady? But that's probably because of Lammon cloaking herself, Katrina thought - which brought about another thought: why was Lammon wearing that cloak, anyway...?
".... ...." ...She decided to speak up. "They probably just think we look suspicious. I think if you take the hood off of your head, we'll come across a little friendlier."
.... The cloaked sheep didn't budge, "...," and Rina grew curious, "...?"
"...I don't want to."
"Huh??" Katrina grew more curious. "...Why not?"
In a quieter, more annoyed tone, Lammon replied, "...It's none of your business...!" She lowered her head, as if to further bury herself into her cloak. "Now come on..., we gotta ask around for Wisemon so he can get you home, right...?"
Lammon approached a devilish bat-like digimon and began talking to it. Meanwhile, Gotsumon watched; Rina did as well, for a moment. She began to imagine various reasons behind Lammon's cloaked look, but soon enough, she realized that she shouldn't be standing around when others are making an effort for her benefit. And with that, she looked about and found a somewhat nervous - but cute-enough-looking - Deramon behind a counter to talk to. Following suit, Gotsumon managed to strike a conversation with a window-shopping Piddomon.

Mere moments later, Lammon gathered the group together to share her findings. "Were you able to find out where Wisemon is?" Rina asked.
"Yeah, kinda. He was seen at the other end of the city, in a corner by a giant statue that has a lot of arms."
"A statue with a lotta arms? What kinda statue is that??" Gotsumon chimed in.
Lammon 'cupped her chin.' "I'm not sure..., so we're gonna hafta look around when we get there."
The group nodded to each other and followed Lammon in the direction they needed to travel. As they did, Katrina thought to herself, wondering if this 'Wisemon' could really tell her how she would be able to get back home. She really hoped she could. "...Mom...." She worried over the thought of her mom worrying herself senseless. How long has it been since she vanished from their hotel room, after all...? She put on a guilty smile as she thought to herself, realizing that there was no way her mom would believe what happened to her. "What am I supposed to tell her...? I mean, really...?" .... ...Then that guilty smile faded as she understood that she was bound to be punished severely for disappearing for days on end in an unfamiliar city.
Many minutes passed; Terminus City was exceptionally large, after all. But after all of the twists and turns, alleyway shortcuts, and reconfirming their course through 'civilian questioning,' Lammon, Gotsumon, and Katrina found themselves in a dark corner of the city. Light struggled to reach this particular spot which housed junk and scrap metal: lots of vehicle parts and destroyed armor pieces; some USBs, old floppy disks, cell phones, and tons of tech parts; cloth, broken frying pans, glasses - both the eyewear and drinkware kinds - and microwaves. One would think this was the city's dumping area. Notably, and thankfully, the only bad smells in the area was of gasoline or some such other thing, and... whatever smells metals and rust take on after extremely long periods out in the elements. Everything was pressed and sprawled against the stone wall and the ground, almost as if to make room for the walkways. It went on for about 130 yards to the left - and about a third of that to the right.
"Quite the little corner.... What is this, the landfill part of the city? ...." Rina got up close and personal with the junk tech hardware and cell phones, a little surprised that computer-y stuff existed in a digital world.
Lammon wasn't anywhere near as interested in the mess as she was. "The statue we're looking for should be around here, somewhere.... Let's split up and f---"
"AH! FOUND IT! ---I think...."
Both Katrina and Lammon turned to, and approached, Gotsumon who had yelled out a second ago and continued to question what he, himself, found as he pointed to it. "I mean..., it's gotta be it..., right?" Their eyes followed the direction of his stone finger, soon leading to the sight of a golden - but dirty - statue beyond the junk piles, next to an abandoned shack or small house. The group believed it to be the statue they were looking for, but Lammon wanted to be sure about what she saw. From a distance, she could only see one arm on the statue, but upon closer inspection...,
"It's Asuramon...!" Lammon pointed out.
"Huh? Asuramon? ...Hmmm, I know I remember that name from somewhere~...." Gotsumon wracked his brain trying to recall how he knew the name. He was sure it was from something he thought was awesome at the time.
"We learned about him in class. He's 'The Three Faces of Burning Justice;' ...the 'Four Arms of the Law...?'" trying to get Gotsumon to remember. The statue definitely appeared to have had four arms; all but one were somehow severed, though. ...Its three faces appeared intact, however.

"So this is the statue we're looking for, right...?" Rina jumped in.
"It has to be. ...Which means Wisemon's somewhere nearby. ...."
Thus began our search. We walked up and down the path for about fifteen minutes without any luck. There was no sign of him anywhere. We were just about ready to believe that we missed running in to him at some point. What was soon disappointing was that it took Gotsumon bringing it up before it occurred to us that... maybe Wisemon could be inside one of the small shacks between the junk piles. I didn't think a 'wise' digimon would make such places his home, so I never considered them. Although, it didn't matter anyway as he was not within any of them.
"Guess he's not here after all...," Gotsumon said as he stood next to me, looking my way. There was a brief silence between us. Across from us, Lammon broke that silence as he sighed. She asked me what I wanted to do: should we keep looking around, or call it quits for the day? It was possible Wisemon might be somewhere else in the city. Then again, he could have left by now. I took a moment to barely think about it; I already knew what I wanted to do. If Wisemon can really get me home, I really wanted to keep looking - almost nonstop. I practically told them as much. Then I asked if they were okay with that.
"I'm cool with it - but I gotta be back by nightfall," Gotsumon placed his arms behind his head nonchalantly as he replied. The rock digimon had no qualms with continuing the search as long as he wouldn't get in trouble with his guardians. I simply assumed digimon had families and didn't inquire further. I figured Lammon would be the same, but that wasn't the case, it seemed.
"We're here because Mistymon asked us to accompany you; I respect him a whole lot, so I'm gonna make sure this gets done right...! ...I'm sticking with you until we get you home; that's a promise."
I was speechless. I didn't think any of them would go so far for a random human like me. I nodded and thanked both Lammon and Gotsumon for sticking it out with me. And that was the start of our extended search.
Or so I'd say, if Gotsumon hadn't caught an incredible sight behind me.

[Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 1]
A miniature portal had appeared behind Katrina. A hand reached out and grabbed something from the junk pile that was there, then it vanished along with the portal. This happened twice more in different places, the final time occurring in front of Lammon, who 'grabbed' the arm. It was soon realized that the arm belonged to Wisemon who was conducting searching from a pocket dimension he created.
Wisemon informs them about that which they seek: a way for Katrina to get home from the digital world. He knows of a device that can do such a thing, and he has seen a number of humans utilize them, however, he has never seen where the device comes from - and the humans he has asked for details weren't quite sure, either. Wisemon promises to inform the group or Mistymon once he learns of the "digivice's" origin.
Katrina, Gotsumon, and Lammon make their way back to Mistymon's schooling hut to inform him of events. All the while, Katrina begins to wonder where she'll sleep tonight. Suddenly, the group is ambushed by an Ogremon - the one who had distantly followed Lammon towards the group after Lammon crossed a giant crater in the field which was where Ogremon's base of operations was 'hidden.' Having seen the group take out his grunts (the Goblimon group), he bided his time for the perfect chance to capture Rina as his second hostage - the first, being the lone Floramon who left Rina's group earlier. With Rina held hostage, Gotsumon and Lammon were forced to follow suit and put on the slave handcuffs that drain a digimon of their combat strength and mentality (loosely-speaking).
Having 4 captives, Ogremon intends to sell them off at an 'underground' auction tomorrow, with Rina, the rare human, being the most expensive by far. The group spends the night in a wooden, wheeled transport - large and wagon-like, with tall stakes within that tied each of the captives to them respectively. Rina had never been in a situation like this, so she was scared - mostly worried about her fate beyond the auction. Lammon took her words to heart the most of the three, as she wanted to be able to fend for herself - tired of being hunted down as weak prey prior to joining Mistymon's school. This was an embarrassment to her and wanted, so much, to be able to console Rina and tell her things would be alright..., but couldn't....

[Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 2]
The next day, some time after entering the cave in which the auction would preside, Ogremon and the other digimon that are gathering for - or holding - the auction are attacked by a duo of tamers and their digimon. The captive digimon, including Lammon, Gotsumon, and Floramon, were all freed by having their slave cuffs destroyed. Lammon then freed Rina and the four of them high-tailed it out of there, trying to avoid the bad digimon and the neutral-or-good digimon who were busy either joining in on the fighting against those who captured them, or were running away as well. Ogremon finds a way to slip out and get away.
Away from the chaos, Floramon reluctantly apologizes for getting them in this mess when she had provoked the Goblimon group. Gotsumon and Rina accept the apology; Lammon is not quite so forgiving, looking for her reason for taking the long way around into Terminus City in the first place. She still refuses to say and complains that she was trying to apologize but Lammon was being a jerk. Floramon leaves the group again, 'going home,' leaving the rest of the group to disband while Lammon accompanies Rina back towards Mistymon's schooling hut. The duo talk amongst themselves along the way and get to know each other a little better.
Along the way, they run into Ogremon, who's furious and states that since he's unable to turn them in for a profit, they're simply eyesores and intends to eradicate them both. Lammon aims to protect Katrina and fight off the Champion-level enemy, but despite her magic abilities with her orb, she is soon defeated. With Lammon in Rina's arms, Ogremon approaches to batter the two, but Mistymon, who had been looking for them (as class was supposed to have started by this point), intervened and defended them. Ogremon relented and retreated.

[Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 3]
The trio returned to the school, allowing Lammon to recover in Mistymon's sleeping/resting quarters while Rina stayed with her. Mistymon, meanwhile, instructed the chef to check on them periodically while he, himself, handled the other students who came for the day's lessons. Mistymon spoke with Rina - and eventually Lammon - in between and after classes. Lammon had fully recovered by nightfall. While Rina was asleep next to her, Lammon got out of bed and snuck past Mistymon who slept on a chair - and noticed her stepping out. She monologued to herself from outside the hut before being met by Mistymon who reassured Lammon of her choices and actions that day.
The following day, Lammon returned to class, along with Gotsumon and Floramon. Floramon's anxiety and dislike of Lammon has increased. Rina listens in on the lessons... until she gets bored and then moves to the cafeteria to socialize with Chef Burgamon. Once classes are over, Lammon and Gotsumon reunite with Rina. Floramon later follows and challenges Lammon to a battle to compete and test their abilities. They battle outside and Lammon gets a strategic win over the crafty plant digimon. Rina cheers, and while the group praises Lammon, Floramon grows quietly frustrated on her own and leaves. While alone, Floramon thinks about how she would be the top student if Lammon wasn't around....
Later, Rina is invited to where Lammon calls home: a rundown stone building beyond the forest - in the opposite direction of Terminus City. The duo talk about the digivice that Wisemon spoke of, while also deepening their bond through their feelings in conversation.

[Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 4]
While the sheep digimon, Lammon, studies and practices with her orb's magic, Rina watches for a time, before thinking about the other humans that Wisemon spoke to. Knowing that she wasn't alone in this world made her feel better about it, but she wanted to get back to her mother who was likely beside herself with fret and worry. Rina then suggests that they return to Terminus City tomorrow and see if they can find more humans to talk to. Lammon warns that Ogremon could be in the area, which makes Katrina hesitate..., but she feels that she needs to take that chance if she wants to get back to Shibuya. The two plan to find a safer way around, tomorrow.
After lessons, Katrina and Lammon took a massive detour from the giant crater in the ground and managed to make it back to the city. They hung around the city for a while, wandering about. Soon, they spotted a human male walking around with a Kotemon. Rina and Lammon were about to pursue when trouble occurred behind them - which caught their attention. A Chuumon stole a sum of a shop vendor's Bits. Lammon wasn't about to walk away when it happened right in front of her. Rina followed along to help - not knowing if she'd be of any help at all. In the end, just as they have recovered the bits and have Chuumon cornered, down comes a rotten-smelling Sukamon to make the save and help it escape a world of pain at Lammon's hands.
The Armadillomon shop vendor thanks the duo for recovering the bits. As thanks, he gives them some as a reward. Rina doesn't fully understand what Bits are and an explanation ensues. Lammon holds onto the Bits by absorbing the data into herself. Following the explanation, a mini portal opens, and none other than Wisemon appears from within. He has gained new information on the digivice apparatus.

[Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 5]
Wisemon has gained new information on the "digivice" apparatus. Rina is pleased to hear it, but Wisemon withholds the info, asking for assistance from them in exchange for it. Turns out, a certain digimon has an interesting item and Wisemon wants Rina and Lammon to retrieve it for him. Lammon asks why Wisemon can't get it himself; the response is that Wisemon can..., but that wouldn't be any fun. It was a good opportunity to have them do something for him, so he took it. They could take it or leave it; not seeing good reason to turn down the info, they accept the job.
Wisemon informs them that a Kokuwamon, a mechanical insect-like digimon, holds a scrap sheet of Chrondigizoit Metal (or Chrome Digizoid - whichever works) which has strange data imbued within it. Kokuwamon intends to gather more metals and make them into an alloy and fuse with them all in some way to become more powerful. Wisemon wants the imbued metal to examine it and such. Katrina and Lammon have lots of time, but the Kokuwamon is constantly traveling between Rustport Town and the Hardware Den, both of which are quite the journey away - at least a day's trip if they walk, so they'd need to leave soon. (Of course, Wisemon could transport them there, but he doesn't tell them that, as he's not as interested in it as he lets on.)
The duo return to the school hut at Lammon's request. She informs Mistymon that they'll be away for a few days on a mission from Wisemon. After advising them to be cautious and avoid danger as much as possible, Mistymon - despite what he said - suggests to Lammon to use this opportunity to gain real-world experience with her spellcasting. He wishes them well, and that they return safely. They leave, leaving Mistymon to wonder what Wisemon has in mind.

[Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 6]
Lammon had downloaded a portion of Wisemon's memory data when it was offered. All that it contained were Wisemon's directional recollections of how to get to Rustport Town from the plains. Using this, Katrina and Lammon journey through the desert town of Folder Desert. There, they eventually find and follow Kokuwamon as it brings more gathered metals to a secret stash within an abandoned shelter. Being spotted, the duo is grilled by Kokuwamon to find out why they're following him. Under the belief that they're after his metals (which isn't completely wrong), he attacks them. Lammon fights back, but the electric attacks find their mark and Lammon seems to be down for the count. Kokuwamon stalks Katrina, and as it's ready to deliver a devastating jolt to the human, Lammon butts in with a Woolly Header (headbutt) attack.
Lammon notes it was more effective than she remembered it being. She also mentions that she had stopped using that attack since learning under Mistymon in order to gain strong offensive magic skills. But after taking that electric attack, Lammon couldn't focus her mind and was unable to execute any magic. She wasn't about to let anything happen to Rina - especially because of her stubbornness - so she used her natural attack that she had avoided for so long - no thinking involved.

[Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 7]
Kokuwamon wasn't done by a long shot, but Lammon wasn't quite ready to face it head-on. It was up to Rina to buy her some time to regain her focus. Lammon was against it, but Rina wasn't about to let Lammon continue yet. Rina ran off, against Lammon's wishes. Seeing the human separate from the protector digimon, Kokuwamon took this as an opportunity to eliminate the human now to avoid any further interference from taking down the opposing weakened digimon. There were a number of close calls, but it was inevitable; Rina was struck down with a hearty zap before Lammon could catch up to her pursuer.
With Kokuwamon in a stationary position, Lammon attacked before the final blow was struck. A series of fire attacks pushed away the metal digimon, allowing Lammon to check on Rina. Faintly, Rina expresses gladness that Lammon was good to go, having bought her time. Lammon then vows to never let anything happen to her from here on out. Through this exchange of heartfelt feelings, Rina's weird watch glows brightly. It transforms into a bracelet-like digivice, though Neither Lammon nor Rina know what it is.
Kokuwamon fires electric shots that miss, due to one of Lammon's shots that had hit one of its eyes.
Rina then suggests using the water attack that Lammon used once - when they're at a safe distance, of course. Doing so, Lammon managed to electrocute/short-circuit the mechanical digimon, taking it out of commission.
Lammon feels much better now, but Rina still has trouble standing after the attack she took. They soon see the piles of scrap metal... and realize that there's no way to tell which one the imbued scrap that Wisemon wants actually is....

[Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 8]Wisemon was watching the entire thing from his pocket dimension. While Lammon and Katrina consider what to do, a portal opens up and Wisemon steps out of it, startling the duo. He commends them on a job very well done. Wisemon simply looks at the scrap heap and pulls out the sheet he needed, able to see the strange data emanating from it. He mentions that he expected them to secure the metals; however, beyond that, he was pleased to see that they managed to secure themselves a digivice. .... It clicks in their minds as they glance back at the device on Katrina's wrist. The truth of the matter was that Wisemon sent them on this quest because of the info he uncovered about the digivice. He wanted to see if they could procure a digivice from their increasing camaraderie, or if they would have to enlist the aid of a tamer. He knew the kokuwamon wasn't a pushover, and he knew that both Lammon and Rina could have perished, but he had faith in their ability to help prove what he had learned. Katrina and Lammon both thank Wisemon who then invites them into the portal to take them back to Terminus City. Now only one thing was left to be done.... ===[END TOPIC]=== ===[Continued HERE]===
