He would accept the soda, but keep it, using it to cool his face as he sat there, waiting on the train, as it got closer to the platform near what looked to be a city. He did not really think much over it, but he knew that if there was a city, there had to be people, a civilization, just what kind though? That became the question that he would have to find out when he got there. The chances were, he would have to face both factions when he got there, if he thought this through right.
He did not really think much of the fact he noticed the birthmark, and instead just held it up for him to see, before putting the glove back on. "I do not know why it looks the way it does, but it stands out, it is why I wear gloves." he says, a bit of happiness showing that he for some reason liked the mark. He wondered if his imouto-chan would have one like it, it would be amazing, but then, siblings did not always have such happy similarities.
Still, for now, the birthmark was a mystery that would not be solved at this moment, same with the imouto-chan thing. No, the real worry was the end result of this train ride, as well as the dealings of this world they were arriving in. Just what was there to be seen? What was one to expect? He had no idea, but he really hoped they had a good connection to information networks, for he really wanted to be able to keep up to date on military tech. Still, he had no idea how long he would be here.
He looked at the Professor about the arms. "One would call those flags, if they are not careful." he said, quoting some anime otaku he had heard talking on his way to the train station. The guy was speaking about things that could trigger things. He really did not know if he believed it, but he figured a light hearted joke would help. He let his smile go playful for this. He really did hope that the train would pull in quickly. OOC: Figure one or two posts, and we can end this thread.

Denizen looked at his can, then drank what was left in it. A slight smile on his face, which only broadened as the boy talked. As he thought the boy was interesting, really interesting. The man hoped their ways would not split up too soon as that would be a bit too boring, as he sensed that there would be a lot of interesting things happening… destructive and dangerous… A smile unlike his own crept to his lips…. Though it vanished as soon as it appeared, Denizen still noticed the abnormal change in his thoughts.
Shaking his head to get his mind back on straight he looked outside the window. ”What is wrong with me? Those thoughts are getting stranger and more dangerous… could it be something connected to the spirits he saw the memories of before.” Denizen sighed and looked outside the window, the planet grew bigger, though it was just an optical illusion, but it meant they were getting closer.
”Well it seems we will be arriving soon, we should prepare I guess.” He put the empty can back into his bag, after all there was a lot of uses for aluminum in the wild. As But that was not important right now, after all he had to make sure he did not lose anything on the way. Upon checking his backpack he seemed to have everything, there was a slight discoloration on the side and bottom though, which had had not noticed prior. ”Must be my imagination.” He dismissed that nagging feeling with that thought.
Though Mitsuru’s flag comment made him pause and chuckle, as he did not expect him to be involved with that kind of games. However he did think there was a good possibility that the boy just heard the term somewhere, at least judging from how he asked the question and his words. ”Might be, still even if I lose an arm, I can still count on you to replace it, can’t I? Might be that someday you might become my “right hand man” as they say.” Denizen chuckled, as he had high expectations for the boy in field of robotics. OOC: Time to wrap it up. We should be able to end it in one or two more posts like you said. =)

The announcing the arrival towards the terminal. [Trailmon Terminal:Terminus City] it blinks at the two passengers from with in the car, before scrolling about preparing to depart. That almost voice was heard again, though still no idea if it was actually heard, or just made up for reading it. Either way, the boy would notice that the train was slowing its descent and lining up into a terminal. Outside the window he saw many things, most of which looked like a modern city with various creatures walking around, and some humans, but that did not matter to him.
He would grab his stuff, and look at the professor. "Looks like we are finally at the place." he would say, his smile and eyes matching a look of curios wariness. He really did not like the fact that they could not fin- something outside the window caught his attention. The trains that were also there were all creatures... It was not his imagination when he noticed the eyes. "So the one pulling this is also a one of these digimon?" he asked aloud, looking in a mix of disbelief and confusion. Now he thought he had seen enough.
He headed to the door and waited for it to open, a laugh escaping him. It was too incredulous. He had been dragged all the way here, by one of those creatures that he wanted to save now. It was too perfect. He knew what he planned to do when he got off the train. He would have to see if this train could speak to him. This "Trailmon" as he remembered the name of the terminal. It was odd to think about, but oddly fitting it seemed. His eyes sparkled beneath his almost always closed eyes. This trip was unusual as he had opened his eyes a few times.
He would wait for the professor to prepare, as he thought about what he would do when he got off the train. It was almost time. "Its not a bad train, when you think about how it is from Shibuya to Akihabara during the evening rush." he muttered as he made certain to mentally prepare himself. He was now in a world not his own, and about to take steps to try to undo and prevent further damage to this place, while surviving. He hoped his imouto would show up, so that he could have something to truly be excited for, and happy about, someone to help him reach the end of his goal with the energy of an infinite dynamo. Still, he would have to deal with the professor for now, who was well enough, someone who could help guide and inspire him to keep going. OOC: One last post for each of us, then end thread.

Denizen was lost in thought as there have been things worrying him, maybe he got a bit too involved with the spirits they saw. No one can really know what might have happened, or what has happened already. He shook his head as there was no use mulling over it, what has happened cannot be changed, nor would he want to. Even if it was a wrong or bad decision, he would take responsibility as it was he himself that ultimately chose it. What got Denizen back to reality was Mitsuru getting his belongings. With that, the man also gathered his and made a quick check on his gear and provisions.
”Would be good if we could stock up on food and other necessities on the station. Better to be prepared.” He muttered half to himself and half to Mitsuru. Though the boy’s comment only made him smile, which seemed to be saying either “thought so” or “I told you”, however it was more of a playful smile more than anything.. ”That would have been the case, a bit sad it ignored me before when I tried…. Though maybe we were too far to be heard. Well anyway…” He’d smile and look to the front in the direction of the digimon that brought them there. “Thank you for the trip, it was fun. Hope to see you again sometime….” He himself did not notice, nor hear, but there were two words that left his mouth soon after ”…old…friend….”
After gathering his things, Denizen would join Mitsuru in preparation to leave. Having everything he had already gathered and his backpack hanging over his shoulder. Maybe he’d get to get a closer look on the runes and symbols on the digimon and such, after all he was curious what they were. It was what got him to board the train in the first place. Still currently he had a feeling that even if he did not pursue it right away, going with Mitsuru to oversee and partake in his adventure, would ultimately lead him to many answers that he was seeking.
”Time to go, eh? You are right though, it is a good train, glad to have boarded it as well. I got to meet you after all, Mitsu.” He chuckled as he said that, he was close enough to the boy to hear his words thus he answered. ”Ah, sorry, I meant to say Mitsuru-san, sometimes my bad habit of giving people nicknames comes out.” Denizen chuckled, and rubbed the back of his head embarrassed. ”Well then, shall we?” He’d ask once more, a slight smile on his face, after all he himself was looking forward to their story, no matter what the result or how dangerous it is…. OOC: Well so one more post for each of us, have to keep the post count even, ne? *chuckles* ;P

He did not respond, there was nothing more to say. He did not really care that a nickname was given, for it was understood. Instead, he was more focused on what was outside the train. Tons of digimon, and other of these living trains were in around them. If not for the lack of human sized and or shaped beings, it could have been another train station in japan. Still, most of them seemed to be of various non human shapes though, if not size. It was rather amazing, if not for the fact he had no idea which side they were.
He would step out of the thread, and look back, having lost the professor in the crowd. It was rather loud as a train or two prepared to leave. He did not really mind that, they could recon like this, it was part of the plan, right? He would look for the way off the station, and slowly make his way passed a vending machine toppled over, and seemingly still full of soda other than doctor pepper. He thought that was odd, but also would take note of its location, in case he needed one later.
He would start walking, looking around the place as he found his way out of it. He made sure not to bump into people, and keep his backpack close to him, he did not want to get caught on anything, including a spiked green person he passed by. It was likely to be a good idea, since getting caught on someone that muscular would likely lead to him being trapped on the person for a while.
Still, where to go next? He did not know, so instead he kept walking, wondering around. He knew if nothing else, he would run into the professor again soon. They were likely safe here, since none of the digimon had given him any problems so far for being human. He just had to find a place to go and wait, and what looked like the shopping district was not far away. So he made his way there. OOC: Left

Denizen was kind of dumbfounded by Mitsuru just disappearing in the crowd. He thought he’d be able to at least catch up to him but the crowd was just too thick. That and seeing so many… Digimon was it, piqued his curiosity quite a lot. All of those factors added together made him loose track of Mitsuru. Nothing that could be done there. He just hoped that the boy would be safe. At least Denizen believed that there should be no issue unless he does something crazy.
Still, there was something nagging his mind, it was like a voice nagging him, hidden at the back of his head, urging him to go… somewhere. Denizen had no idea where, but at least it was something he could do. That and he was really curious about the symbols as well. He was not sure as to where his destination was, but no matter how dangerous or how long it would take he had to walk the road to seek out anything that could further his knowledge.
Slowly starting on his way, he’d both let himself get led by instinct, but at the same time he’d use reason to move about. After all, he had no idea what to expect, not to mention due to his experiences abroad, he knew how humans could behaved and while he was unsure if that could apply to Digimon, he had no real reason not to be cautious. Thus he made sure all the clasps on his backpack and belts were securely closed, and his possessions stored away and accounted for.
Slightly smiling, Denizen would begin his journey, unsure where his steps would take him, nor if he would see his travelling companion again. Though if they stayed in the same city chances were high, but at the same time, the Professor was not pulled towards the city, but in his mind, the more primal areas could get him more of what he needed. His instincts were in conflict though, as they were giving him conflicting ideas and warnings. No matter though, he decided to go to a more crowded area in hopes of possibly finding a library or another place of the sort, he could always ask someone on the way as well… Ooc: Left.
