The day was pretty much idyllic. The sun was shining, gently irradiating off its warmth on a random island over Binary Achipielago; the waves gently reached the shore, just to go back instants after in what could very well be an endless cycle. The soft wind blowing gently and making small whistling sounds as it went through the nearby palm trees was just the cherry on top of the dessert, making the atmosphere resonate with an almost unnatural calm.
As pleasant as it could get, really.
Interestingly enough, not even the lone figure that laid on the sand disturbed that seemingly deserted beach. She seemed to be in a weird kind of peace, maybe even asleep despite the fact that the water caressed her body every now and then and the sun illuminated her face. Either she didn't care, her sleep was too sound or she was unconscious, who knows.
Her most striking feature was probably her bright red hair, even more disheveled than usual, and most importantly, the small row of three eggs that seemed to rest in equal peace against her side.
For her appearance alone, she seemed to have no intent of waking up whatsoever, at least by herself. Maybe she needed a little hand? Probably.

This certainly was a pleasant location, and certainly out of the way. A good place to forget all your troubles and just go for a stroll amongst the scenic beaches. Eva had picked a good spot out, away from the more touristy islands and had set down a towel to lie down on and soak up the sun while drinking a nicely chilled beer. Or two. Or three. The cyborg Renamon had kind of lost count and was feeling a little bit tipsy by this point. Not drunk per say, but that sort of pleasant buzz was certainly in full effect.
However, something rather sobering soon grabbed her attention. A body lying in the surf. From this distance, she couldn't get a proper look, however, switching to thermal she could see that whoever this was, was likely still alive. With no time to waste, she booked it, sprinting as quickly as her robotic legs could carry her towards this figure and moving up to gently shake her by the shoulder.
If Mana woke up by this point... She would see a strange Renamon looking down at her, wearing a hoodie and cargo pants, with a different almost greyscale colouration and robotic components, the most visible of which right now, her hands which were very human shaped, and her eyes, or at the moment, eye shields, which were a set of almost sunglass shaped protective polarised ballistics glass, which quickly retracted into a pair of carbon fibre half frames embedded directly in her skull, revealing a pair of equally artificial eyes.
"Hey. You okay?"

While by itself, the gentle nudging wasn't enough to wake the girl up, it was enough to make her slightly more conscious, and that meant that she was feeling right now that her clothes were wet; among her least favorite sensations, for sure. Still, the sand felt so comfortable; maybe she could sleep for a little longer? It just felt so good...
"J-just... five more minutes, please." she muttered to nobody in particular, trying to hold into that pleasant sensation for as long as she could.
But that didn't last long. The environment that she had been successfully ignoring up to this point now was glaringly obvious, and heavily bothersome. Darn.
Sluggishly, she yawned as she stretched her slightly sore arms. She tried to open her eyes, but the soon was just too bright, so instead, she moved a bit and assumed a sitting position, trying to focus her sight on the being that was near her. Or at least get her eyes used to the light; both worked.
"Good morning... or afternoon. I'm not sure what time is it right now."
Not much else she could say because her eyes were still getting used to the light and she was still super drowsy, but she could already feel the wetness all across her back. And she didn't like it one bit.
"Thanks for waking me up, I guess. This just feels so... gross."
Wait, wait just a minute. Why she was in what looked like a beach? She didn't remember going to beach. In fact...
She rubbed her eyes more forcefully, trying to open them despite the light. The few things she could discern weren't like anything she had said before. She still hadn't gazed towards the direction of the voice, but she couldn't help to ask.
"Where... are we? I don't remember being in this place?"

"By about five minutes, the tide's going to be over your head. Come on."
Eva offered a hand to help Mana up, a look of concern still on her face. Of course, she was using regular logic regarding the tides, something that the digital world doesn't seem to run on as much, as these tides seemed to actually never go in or out as such.
"Can you walk? Are you breathing okay?"
She gave a small chuckle at the "This feels so gross" comment. Wet clothes sucked, but at least the sun was out, so that would solve that problem in a jiffy, and even if not, she had that towel she was lying on beforehand, though, that was probably a little sandy by now.
"Well, this is going to sound crazy. It sounded crazy when I first found out about it, and I'm meant to be one of the creatures native to this place. Though, well, wasn't born here in my case. You're in the digital world. Yes. I'm serious. I don't fully understand it myself, but, it's the truth."
The digimon paused, letting Mana take all that in, and waited for any questions, nonetheless, she could resist stating afterwards...
"Well, either that or you smacked your head really hard and this is in some kind of insane coma dream. Oh also, these egg things were washed up with you, they look pretty important."

As Omega walked along the beach he could feel the sun beating down on him. He felt the breeze and the cool ocean itself seemed vibrant with color. It was, in fact, SO comfortable that Wisk had passed out in his backpack.
As he walked he saw Eva standing with a woman he had not yet met. As he ran towards them he began to shout.
"Hey Eva! Long time no see. So who is this person? Oh sorry, my name is Omega. It's nice to meet you."

Too many questions too fast. Some consideration for the groggy girl, please...
At least now her eyes got finally used to the environment's light; kinda about time, really. The hand offered in her direction was greatly appreciated. Mustering some strength, she took it and stood up... really slowly, she almost felt like her legs were made out of jelly
"I think I can walk... well, a bit. And I think that I'm okay. Or at least, not immediately dying. Well, not really okay; I'm drenched and feel like I'm having the worst hangover ever, but at least nothing super bad."
She looked at the girl (?) helping her, widening the eyes at the sight of what looked like an anthropomorphic fox cyborg. Mana knew she should be surprised, and in fact, was a little bit surprised at the sight, but... not as much as she should. It was weird feeling, but she couldn't really explain it.
And, pretty much the same thing occured with the Digital World thing. An alternate world sounded like something pretty ludicrous, but a cyborg told her about it, so... it kinda sounded like fair game? Not any less unbelievable, but...
Maybe she hit her head too hard on her way to this place. Maybe her common sense got broken? That'd be really bothersome...
"I think I'll take the "smack my head" theory." She said, shrugging a bit. "Not to offend you, but this place looks pretty normal. Well, not taking you into account. Or these ostrich sized eggs."
Important, huh? Might as well take that advice. Trying her best not to fall over, she crouched and picked up the egg trio. Handling them proved to be... difficult at best, but she hoped she'd eventually find something to make that task easier.
Before she could ask something more concise about her situation, however, another person appeared. Well, at least this time he seemed human, even though he was oddly familiar with the cyberfox.
The still somewhat confused girl just waved at him and smiled. He looked like an interesting guy.
"Uh, hi..." She made a pause, pretty puzzled at his name. It surely wasn't his real name, but it was still... kinda strange. "Pleased to meet you, Omega. My name is, uh..."
What was her name, again? This was really inconvenient.
"I don't really remember my name, now that I think of it." Maybe it was really true that she had hit her head. "Maybe you guys know it? That'd help a lot."
Not having a name felt weird. That's for sure; even if... maybe that wasn't as important right now. Looking closely at the digimon in front of her, she approached, curiosity shining on her eyes.
"I'm not sure of this, but... you aren't normal, are you?" She was conscious that she had no idea what she was talking about, but, there was something strange about Eva. "You look... different."
Different compared to what, though? And why she had the impression that Eva should be yellow?

"Not entirely sure who this is. We just met."
She looked down at the person, giving a little smirk at the hangover comment. It was a situation Eva had been in plenty of times, especially as of late. Then again, Mana didn't exactly look old enough to drink, how the heck would she know about the horrible feeling of alchohol induced dehydration?
"Worst hangover ever? Aren't you a little too young to be drinking? Here, lean on me if you're having trouble walking."
If she did accept the help, she would feel that her "head smack hallucination" felt very solid, as if it was -very- real, although, the arm at least did not feel organic in the slightest, it was a machine, smooth and cool to the touch.
"Can't say I know your name, I've never met you before.
The question about her being "normal" caused her to pause for a minute. She was still helping Mana along, but, certainly took a little bit of time to formulate her response.
"Different from what?"
